On the Rooftops of Agrabah…

Wahid followed his dad and the woman he saved as they managed to escape the angry merchant.

Most urchins would avoid that vendor for good reasons, known for losing a hand and more for stealing from him. Wahid was happy to make that jerk made as they made way with lots of his stuff, some got lost as passerby had their share. Well, at least they had dinner and breakfast for a while and his dad seemed very happy to be with the weird lady they saved. She seemed really nice, but something was off with her.

"I wanted to thank you for stopping that man." She thanked the pair as Aladdin blushed a bit at the face she showed.

"It was the least I can do. That jerk had it coming, for all those times he scared Wahid." Aladdin grinned as he got the poles ready.

"He does like to make threats when urchins come around," Wahid answered as the woman gasped at the boy's word.

"That's horrible. Threatening children like that." She gasped in fright.

"He never goes through with it. Only to adults, he just makes threat to the kids until they run away as he's waving his knife like this." The boy answered as he mimed the merchant while the monkey laughed a bit.

"So, you're-you're new to the marketplace?" Aladdin wondered as he grabbed a pole for himself and Wahid.

They pole-vaulted towards the roof as time on the streets granted them many experiences. Wahid wanted to learn how to do it but Aladdin believed he was still too young to learn something that dangerous, yet.

"Was it that obvious?" The woman giggled a bit.

"Well… you do stand out from the crowd." Aladdin smiled as Wahid and Abu rolled their eyes at him.

Jasmine blushed at Aladdin's words as he realized what he said and turned red.

"Err… I mean, you-you don't seem to know how dangerous Agrabah can be!" Aladdin stuttered as he offered a block of wood as a means to walk across.

But it was not needed as the woman was able to pole volt herself as he was talking. She had a determined look on her face with a slight hint of flirtatious confidence.

"I'm a fast learner." She explained as she tossed Aladdin the pole, who had a dumbstruck look on his face like Abu.

"Wow. You are so cool, Lady! I've only seen my dad do that on his first try!" Wahid marveled at the young woman.

"You're dad?" The mystery woman wondered as he knelt down to his height.

"Yeah, I adopted Wahid. Come on, I want to show you something." Aladdin explained as the girl followed him while Abu hopped on Wahid's shoulder.

Abu squeaked in jealous claims as he mimicked the woman.

"Give her a chance. I think she's awesome and maybe she can be my mom. Fingers crossed." Wahid hoped as the monkey could not believe the child.

At Aladdin's home…

"Watch your head here… Almost there… Okay." Aladdin instructed her as Wahid and Abu were right behind just in case.

The woman was amazed by the home they made as Wahid was settling down in his usual bed.

"You live here?" She asked the boy who brought her to the wonderous hovel.

"Yep, just me, Wahid, and Abu, we come here to rest up, come and go as we please," Aladdin explained as he and the mystery woman sat at the windowsill.

"It's very welcoming." She complimented as Aladdin chuckled a bit.

"It's not much, but it has a great view."

As the palace was presented, the woman seemed a little down. Wahid was imagining himself living there, with food, a warm bed, trees to climb, and treats. Wahid covered his eyes as his father and the lady were sharing a moment, forcing him to cover his eyes in grossness but laughing a bit.

"THERE YOU ARE!"

Wahid gasped as the guards came into their home!

"THEY'RE AFTER ME! THEY'RE AFTER YOU!?" They gasped as Wahid hid behind his father in fear.

"Dad, why are they here? What do we do?" Wahid wondered as Aladdin was trying to think up a plan.

"Oh, my father must have-."

"Do you trust me?" Aladdin interrupted offering his hand while holding Wahid up in one arm.

"What?"

"Do you trust me?"

"…Yes."

"THEN JUMP!"

They leaped out of the building and onto the soft cushioning below!

"You okay, Wahid?" Aladdin questioned the boy as he looked for injuries.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay."

They tried to run as Razoul was waiting for them. Abu tried to help but was flung away as Aladdin was captured and sentenced to the Dungeon.

"Dad, no!" Wahid pleaded as the woman rushed towards them.

"Let him go!" she ordered the captain of the guard, who only laughed.

"Look at this, men. A street mouse." He laughed as he shoved her away.

"Let him go, by order of the princess." She demanded as she revealed who she was, then the laughter stopped.

"P-Princess Jasmine." They bowed as they forced Aladdin to bow with him.

"The princess?" Aladdin, Wahid, and Abu in a pot gasped.

She ordered his release but this 'Jafar' person gave the order for his arrest. Jasmine was determined to have a talk with him. But before she would return, she looked at Wahid.

"Wahid, you shouldn't be out here alone. Come on, you need to come with me until we can have your father released." Jasmine advised.

"Y-yes Ma'am." He nodded as he took her hand, not knowing what to expect.
