At the Palace inside a classroom the next day…

Wahid was learning to read and write as his teacher was speaking with the Sultan for a moment.

The boy was doing his best to understand the letters and sentences, though it was not an easy time for him to understand. He was a street rat who knew only how to survive the streets and how to steal. This was something his tutor has never experienced with a student. He taught noblemen and ladies, princesses and princes born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Teaching a child of the streets was unheard of. Come to think of it, this was something no one has ever heard of. It was the rarest of rare for a royal family to adopt a child, it was unheard of, even in fairy tales.

"I don't know where to start with him. There is so much he needs to learn, and he will need to leave the mindset of a street rat, which would be hard for him. Prince Wahid has lost everything so fast and is now in a new unknown world." The tutor was brought in to teach the former urchin and orphan turned prince.

"Oh dear, is there anything we can do for him?" The Sultan wondered as he showed concerns for the poor boy.

"Simply be there when he needs it. I cannot say how or what can be done, but as long as he knows he is loved, and he is safe here." He advised the leader.

"I will be certain he will be treated as he should. Agrabah will see him as a prince and as my grandson." He proclaimed proudly.

"Umm… Mister? What does this symbol mean?" Wahid squeaked at as the teacher returned to him and looked at the symbol.

"Oh, that word is 'alshams', it means sun." He explained to the boy.

Their lessons continued as the Sultan left them to learn, wanting to return his animal hobby. The tutor was impressed with the boy's progress so far. But as the lessons were continued, the fanfares were soon heard.

"What's going on?" Wahid wondered as the tutor.

"Oh, not another suitor, we were just getting into literacy." The tutor whined as he closed his book, "Take the rest of the day off, young prince. Remember your lessons and we can continue from there."

Then the tutor as Wahid rushed to the balcony.

It was all excitement and hubbub as there was a massive parade as there were people holding flags, juggling swords, women dancing, bakers baking, wizards floating, animals flaunting, and gold being flung. But then Wahid saw something to brighten his day the most. On top of a familiar-looking elephant, covered by fans by girls who pulled them away was…

"Dad!" Wahid gasped with joy.

His father was alive!

His father was alive!

And… he's a prince?

Wahid was confused by that then he saw the elephant more.

"Abu?"

Okay, his dad and Abu are alive, different, but alive! He needs to go talk to them!

In the throne room…

The young boy rushed to the throne room as the song finally reached its end, and his father was riding a… magic carpet.

"Oh, how delightful! Delightful!" The Sultan cheered as Wahid spotted him, Jafar, and his father, "And this is Jafar! He is delighted too!"

"Ecstatic." He deadpanned as Wahid rushed and hugged the elephant!

Abu squeaked then realized it was the boy.

Aladdin spots his son overwhelmed with joy that the boy was alive, but kept his appearance.

"Woah, careful there, little guy. You don't want to startle him." Aladdin pretended as he picked the boy up and winked at him behind the Sultan's and his advisor's back.

Wahid knew what it meant and knew to play along. Once they were alone, they would talk about what was going on.

"I'm sorry, sir. I saw your elephant and wanted to ride him." Wahid cutely apologized with some puppy dog eyes.

"Oh, but an elephant might be too big for someone so young."

"I am quite surprised how he's come out of his shell. Wahid is quite timid but becomes quite chummy with you instantly." The sultan grinned, "Oh, but you must excuse me, this is my adopted grandson, Prince Wahid. He seems to be the most delighted."

Jafar was not a fan of the prince, but the sultan seemed not to listen as he wanted to check out the carpet.

"Would you mind if I…?"

"Can I too?" Wahid pleaded.

"I wouldn't mind, your majesties. Allow me." Aladdin smiled.

Wahid was excited to ride the magic carpet. It became more enjoyable when they chased the pet parrot! Everything was merriment and fun until princess kill joy came and brought his father down.

Once Aladdin was done talking with the Sultan, Wahid could understand what was going on.
