In the Gardens…
After being given the tour of the palace and Wahid's lessons, it was the perfect time to talk, away from the prying eyes of the residence of the heart of the kingdom.
Wahid was absolutely over the moon to see his father again as he hugged him fiercely after entering the gardens. Their family had been reunited once again as Abu gave the pair a trunk hug and began chirping like a monkey does. Wahid was laughing so hard with joy with his adoptive father, Aladdin. Or as known to the royalty Ali of Ababwa. There were so many questions for the boy and for the family members sewn together by fate. Wahid was settled down by the fountain as the fake prince looked around to see who was listening, just in case. Once everything was clear, they can finally talk.
"How did you get here? Where have you been?" Both Wahid and Aladdin simultaneously questioned each other.
"When the guards took you, the princess took me back to the palace. The Sultan adopted me as his grandson after." Wahid explained to him, "But what about you? I thought you were killed! You were executed by the guards!"
"No, I escaped thanks to a crazy hermit and then he tried to kill me for his treasure!"
"Treasure? What treasure?"
"Wahid, I have a genie," Aladdin confessed as he pulled his turban up to reveal an old lamp.
The boy tried to get a closer look as he briefly saw a small blue man appear then shrank back into the lamp.
"I saw him!" He gasped as Aladdin chuckled a bit.
"Genie, you can come out. Wahid's trusting." Aladdin assured him as Genie appeared from the lamp in the form of a cute squirrel.
"Hey there, kiddo! It's great to meet Al's little buddy! A buddy's little buddy!" Genie cheered as he hugged the little boy.
"Oh, hi! I'm Wahid."
"Nice to meet you, little guy!" Genie grinned as Carpet came around to see the little boy, "This is Carpet, the best mode of transportation on the market!"
"Cool!" The boy smiled.
Abu squeaked as he hugged the small boy.
"I missed you too, Abu. I got you a banana." Wahid answered as he gave the monkey-turned-elephant the fruit.
"Now that we're reunited, let's get out of here and go home." Wahid smiled as Aladdin made a weird face, "What's wrong?"
Later at Night Near the Princess's Balcony…
Wahid was sulking as he sat with Abu, upset with his father.
He still couldn't believe his own father would still like her, even after she caused him to be arrested and kidnapped him, he still liked her. He even went all through this prince getup to charm her instead of making a wish for a big palace for them to stay in. Wahid didn't like her because she was a selfish princess who hurt his family. Now, Aladdin still feels like he could court her.
"Genie, what can I do? Jasmine won't even talk to me." Aladdin fretted.
Genie was playing chess and losing to a rug, AKA Carpet.
"Genie I need help."
Wahid watched Genie explain in a strange manner for Aladdin, to be honest with her, but he was afraid of being laughed at.
"Why do you even care? I think we should just go and forget about her." Wahid scoffed as he crossed his arms.
"Wahid, give her a chance. There is good in her. You did like her when we were at the marketplace." Aladdin requested of his boy.
"But that was before she lied to us, and you got arrested because of her." Wahid reminded him as he still held onto that grudge.
"Please, give her a chance. I promise you won't be disappointed by her." Aladdin pleaded to the boy as he gave him the same type of eyes Wahid would give.
Wahid sighed as he knew he couldn't win.
"Fine, I'll give her a chance. But I still think she's a stuck-up princess." Wahid agreed.
"I promise you won't regret it." Aladdin smiled as he prepared to woe Jasmine.
