Life about Vanya (short)

Five escapes the apocalypse decades early and returns to his family. Or at least what remains of it. Meanwhile, Vanya never expected to get her brother back and Diego isn't about to leave another sibling behind. They've had their ups and downs, but, at the end of the day, they're family. And family sticks together. Show-verse.

Sequel to Stave Off the Storm. Vanya begins her integration into the Umbrella Academy and dealing with her powers. Without Five, she would be lost, but adjusting to life with him is tricky as well. He's 58 and 13, which is both inconvenient for him and confusing for her. But now that the Hargreeves are a real family, the new and improved Umbrella Academy can do anything.

After escaping the Sparrow timeline, the Umbrella Academy finds themselves back to their original timeline... or so they thought. Meanwhile, the Hargreeves were celebrating the death of their father, when one of them sensed an anomaly in the fabrics of the universe. How will the Umbrella Academy react to their alternate selves? Is the apocalypse inevitable?

Following the lives of the Hargreeves siblings throughout their childhood (and their Farther's shitty parenting). Focusing mainly on Five because he's my favorite- but shows all the other siblings as well :)

Five ponders his own mortality. He asks the person who knows the best about that sort of thing: Klaus. TV-verse, a slightly different version of a scene in Season 3 Episode 5.

Five's hallucination of Dolores makes him think about some things.

Vanya is taken by a mysterious group with unknown motives. But she soon realizes that she isn't the only one. Escape doesn't seem like an option, but the Hargreeves don't give up easily. As Vanya is held captive, her siblings try to piece together the puzzle of what happened to their sister before it's too late.

It'd be stupid not to take advantage of family bonding time handed to them on a platter, and so Luther found it perfectly reasonable to turn to Diego and Five and say, "Hey, how about a movie night?" / He should've known nothing could be easy with this family. (Post season 3, resolved cliffhanger)

Some snippets of Diego's time in the 1960's asylum and Lila's mission to get close to him. Canon compliant. Not really romantic yet but implying development of a crush.

Five's siblings meet him when he returns to stop the apocalypse, but there's also another Hargreeves there he doesn't know. Meet Number Eight, the girl who showed up the very same day Five left all those years ago...(All seven siblings feature, violence & swearing warnings).
