Have a good time!

"Hey Tana. How are you?"

"Great. I just have a bit of a stomachache but otherwise I'm fine. When are you coming home?"

"I should leave work in a two or three hours." Quinn replied. Then she frowned when she realized the first part of her girlfriend's sentence. "What do you mean you have a stomachache?"

Santana rolled her eyes as she heard the blonde worry. "It's okay. I just have a little discomfort in my stomach."

"What did you eat at lunch?"

Santana hates cooking. She hates it because she is too impatient to wait so long to eat. So it's always Quinn who cooks food, but this afternoon she had a business dinner and therefore couldn't cook for them. When that happens, Santana usually orders food, but this afternoon she was also lazy for that. "Hmmm. I ate sushi with-"

"Wait. What sushi?" Cut the blonde. "Not the sushi that's in the fridge I've been asking you to throw away for days, right?" Hoping her girlfriend wasn't that dumb. However, all she heard on the other end of the phone was silence.

"Hummm."

"Santanaaa." Repeated Quinn in what Santana called her scary mom voice. The one that always made her cave in.

"Okay. Yes, maybe I ate that sushi." Now that Quinn said it, she knew that it was probably not her best decision.

"But babe!" Cried Quinn. "Are you crazy? No wonder you have stomachache!"

"Come on Quinn. We all know that I am a warrior. I can handle it." Santana rolled her eyes but she was met with silence. "Okay, maybe I am not a warrior-warrior but I'm tough. It's nothing. In a few minutes it's gonna go away and I am gonna be okay for tonight. That's it."

Quinn didn't believe Santana for a second but didn't say anything and just thought that she was going to be home earlier than planned to make sure her girlfriend was okay. "If you say so." Santana heard someone called her girlfriend's name in the background. "Tana, I have to go back to work. I love you."

Santana smiled sweetly. She always loves to hear this nickname. "I love you too. Go back to you kick ass job. I'll see you soon."

And with that they hung up and Santana fell on their couch sighing. "Now what do I do?"

Quinn came home for an hour and a half after the phone call to make sure Santana was okay. She had a feeling that the mood tonight was not going to be at its peak even though they were planning to go out with their friends. "So, where is my warrior?" Snickered the blonde when she opened the door but stopped when she saw her girlfriend in a ball on the couch.

The only response she got was a groan from the Latina. "Oh no." She put her purse on the table and went to her girlfriend. She sat on the couch and caressed her girlfriend's back. "How are you?"

"It hurts Q." Whined Santana, her eyes tightly shut.

Quinn smiled sadly and her frown got deeper when she felt her girlfriend shiver. She touched her arm and noticed that Santana was cold. "Oh my god you are freezing! Come on. I am going to put you in bed and make you a bath."

She pulled Santana who moaned in pain and brought her to bed. She put her under the duvets and hurried to the bathroom to run a bath for her. When she returned, she saw that his girlfriend had curled up again.

"I am going to die." Whined Santana.

Quinn moved closer and put her hand on her forehead to feel her temperature. "What's wrong?"

"Cramps. Headache. Fever. Feeling like throwing up. Name it. I have it."

"So, where is my warrior?" Teased Quinn.

"Shut up." She buried herself further under the cover.

Quinn smiled sadly, even if she liked teasing her girlfriend, she did not like seeing her like this, hurting. Not one bit. "I am going to take care of you." Said the blonde tenderly, stroking the Latina's hair. "Try to get up slowly, I will undress you."

"Wanky." Smirked tiredly Santana. "I know I always want to get down with you but now I don't feel too well for that, even if it hurts me to say it."

She chuckled. "For the bath, dummy."

Santana stood up slowly and Quinn took off her t-shirt, then her pants. And when she was naked, she put one of her arms under Santana's legs and put the other under her arms to carry her and bring her to the bathroom next to their bedroom.

"Babeeee." Santana drawled out pleasantly. "I know I said that I was not in the mood, but this is a huge tur on." She smirked, throwing her arms around her girlfriend's neck.

The blonde laughed and kissed her cheek. "You're always turned on."

"By everything you do, yeah. But I save that for later, trust me."

"Promise." Whispered Quinn, putting Santana on the side of the tub. She closed off the tap and took the brunette's hand to help her to get in it.

Santana sighed as she felt the heat of the bath. "It's very hot."

Quinn smiled as she helped her sit in the tub. "That's the goal. You're going to soak in this bath for a few minutes, relax your muscles and raise the fever a little. And then I'm going to get you out of the bath and take care of you."

"Looks like you've been doing this all your life." Santana said closing her eyes and trying to calm herself down, just frowning a little when she was in particular pain.

Quinn sat down on the floor and put her hand in the water, moving back and forth. "When I was little and Judy spent more time drinking than looking after us, she would do whatever food she could get her hands on. Which was mostly out of date or undercooked. So, I often had food poisoning. After a while, I just learned that I had to make my own food."

Santana opened her eyes again and looked sadly at her girlfriend. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault, you did not know." She stood up and leaned down to kiss the brunette on the forehead.

But Santana stopped her by taking her wrist. "No. Where are you going? Stay with me."

"I'm just going to prepare something for you, I'll be right back."

Santana let go of her arm but watched her leave with a frown. She wanted to stay with her.

Quinn returned a few minutes later with a bottle which she placed on a bedside table.

"Who were you talking to?" Santana asked.

"With Rachel, I told her we weren't coming tonight."

"Why we? You could go without me."

"Like I'm going to leave you alone when you're not feeling well." Quinn said, preparing a large towel. She didn't see it, but Santana looked at her girlfriend with a lot of love. She turned around, holding the towel open. "Come on, stand up."

Santana slowly got out of the bath, hanging onto the side of it and Quinn wrapped the towel around her as she did so rubbed her sides. "Come on my little sausage. We're going to bed." Said Quinn laughing and Santana only rolled her eyes. She let it go and Quinn put her in some warm pajamas.

She was back under the covers and Quinn handed her the bottle. "What is that?"

"Just water and sugar. It'll do you good." Santana nodded and got ready to drink quickly when the blonde stopped her. "No, not too fast. You have to take small sips. Otherwise, it'll make you throw up. And you don't want that."

"Oh no. The last time I threw up isn't a good memory."

Quinn smiled and changed at the same time while Santana drank.

Once the bottle is finished, Santana put it on the side and Quinn joins her in the bed. She went next to her, and Santana approached her directly. "It hurts Q."

"I know baby, but you are going to sleep and normally you will already feel better tomorrow."

The brunette started to get on her side so she could get closer to Quinn, but she stopped her. "Stay on your back. I'll massage your stomach."

Santana obeyed and when she felt her girlfriend's warm hands on her stomach, she breathed with relief as she closed her eyes. "Thank you." She whispered.

"It's normal. It's my job." Quinn replied giving her a small kiss on the cheek while continuing what she was doing.

"I fucking love you." Said Santana after a moment of silence.

Quinn chuckled. "I love you too, my big baby."

Quinn lives for these little moments. Not of course for the times when Santana is not feeling well. But for those times when her girlfriend totally trusts her, totally let go and she can take care of her.

When she felt Santana's breathing getting deeper, the blonde stood up. "Stay with me." Whined Santana, when she felt her girlfriend walk away.

"Always." She replied. "I'm just going to turn the lights off." Once done, she got back into bed and kissed the Latina several times all over the face and she got a tired little smile in return.

Santana turned her head in her direction and they both fell asleep, forehead to forehead, Santana already feeling better thanks to her girlfriend, and Quinn who will stop worrying when the love of her life would be all good.
