Today is a good day. You know why? Because after the party, Quinn will finally be able to see Santana again. It turns out that Quinn has been in love with Santana since she first saw her seven years ago. She became her best friend, but it never got any further. Quinn has watched Santana for years kissing and dating other people, but she never had that chance.

Except this time, Quinn was able to make her dream come true. During Puck's party, Santana and Quinn found themselves at one point alone in a bedroom and one thing leading to another, the two kissed. They didn't go all the way, but it was still more than a kiss.

This is not how she imagined her first kiss with her but it is not a big deal.

And it was the best kiss Quinn could ever have imagined. The point is, Quinn has been reserving herself all these years for this moment. She has never kissed anyone and that is why she has rejected all her suitors many times, because she never imagined kissing anyone other than her best friend.

They haven't seen each other since the party, and that's why Quinn is entering high school today with a huge smile and a confident walk. She can't wait to see Santana again.

She put her things in her locker and went to join Santana at hers, a routine they have had since they know each other. However, upon seeing Santana, the smile she had so far narrowed. She sees her best friend with her eyes closed and her brow furrowed with her head against her locker. So, she approached again until she was at Santana's level.

"Are you okay?" She asked, putting her hand on her shoulder.

Santana sighed. "Yeah, just a headache from the party. I always forget to drink water."

She straightened up and turned to Quinn with a small smile. They looked at each other for a few seconds and Quinn felt her heart race. She couldn't wait for Santana to tell her something about what happened between them.

After a few seconds, the Latina's eyes dropped to Quinn's neck and a big smile spread across her face.

"But tell me, what do we have here?" Santana asked with a smirk as she touched Quinn's neck.

The blonde began to blush when she noticed that the hickey Santana had given her was no longer hidden by her scarf. "Oh that's um." Quinn began to stutter.

"Apparently you had as much fun as I did at the party." Say Santana with a wink. "Who did this to you?"

Hearing Santana's question, the blonde lifted her head and looked at her with questioning eyes. Seeing that Santana wasn't laughing saying she didn't know who had done this, Quinn asked a question. "You do not remember?"

"Remember what?" The Latina wondered.

And that's when Quinn understood, and her heart fell in her chest. "What do you remember from the party?"

Santana seemed to think for a few seconds, frowning before answering. "Not much to be honest. I drank way too much and the last thing I remember was taking shots with Puck." That was before the two kissed, Quinn thought. "Why?" Santana asked.

Quinn tried to give her best friend a smile even though inside she was dying. "Nothing. It's not important. Are we going to class?" She said before leaving for their class without waiting for the Latina.

Santana not understanding but also having too much of a headache to try to understand, followed Quinn without saying anything. During the whole class, Quinn kept giving Santana little glances, hoping that she would tell her that it was a joke, that she remembered what had happened and that she wanted them to go on date.

Anyway, Quinn after class was unable for sure to repeat a single word of what the teacher had said. Her mind was too preoccupied. At the same time, it only happens to her to have the possibility of kissing the girl she has always loved and that the next day this same girl does not remember anything.

This situation broke Quinn's heart as her best friend started to get annoyed that Quinn kept staring at her. "Okay, what's the matter? Got something on my face?"

"Nothing I told you." Quinn replied, lowering her head.

"So why have you been staring at me for a while?" Asked an exasperated Santana.

"Do you really remember nothing from the party?" The blonde asked, raising her head with a little hope.

"I told you that I don't remember a damn thing!" Whisper yelled Santana. "Why don't you stop asking me that?"

At that moment, the bells rang, and Quinn packed her things quickly. "Nothing. Forget it." And she left the classroom.

"Oh no. No me gusta!" Santana exclaimed following her best friend. "Stop running from me, Q, and tell me why you want to know this."

Quinn turned and then took Santana's arm to pull her into an empty toilet. Santana was about to speak but Quinn cut her off by removing her scarf. "This hickey, you gave it to me." She said looking her straight in the eye.

Santana opened her mouths and frowned as she looked at the hickey. "I'm not sure I understand."

Quinn sighed. "At one point in the evening, we both needed a quiet moment, so you took me to an empty room. And then we kissed."

"Uh oh." Said Santana speechless.

"Don't you really remember anything?" Quinn pleaded.

She looked up into her eyes and when Quinn saw her face, she understood that like she said, she doesn't remember a thing. "I am so sorry. But it is not like this is your first kiss." And then she heard the blonde sniffle. "Right?"

With tears in her eyes, Quinn left the bathroom and went to the choir room for the glee club.

Santana spent the whole-time watching Quinn from the other side of the room, thinking about what she is going to do. She's so sorry for inflicting this on her best friend. She tries with all her might to remember but it is impossible. All she can hope for, is that she didn't go too far and hurt the blonde. She would never get over it if she lost Quinn.

At the end of the day, Quinn hurried out of the school to go home. It has been a humiliating day and she would just like to be alone and not talk to anyone.

She reached her car when she felt someone grab her arm. So, she turned around and saw Santana looking at her with sad eyes. "Can we talk?" She speaks. Quinn nodded and the Latina continued. "You deserved so much better for your first kiss. I shouldn't have ruined that memory for you. I'm sorry."

"Not me." Quinn replied in a tone she wanted assertive, but her voice was shaking a bit.

"Really?" Asked Santana surprised. "Why?"

"Because I dreamt of this moment for years and it was perfect. Of course the part where you are drunk and don't remember it was not in my plan." Quinn did not know where all this courage come from, but it feels good to finally say it.

The Latina remained silent for a few moments. "You have dreamed of this moment?" She asked again.

Quinn sighed and looked Santana in the eyes. She didn't know what she was doing, but she couldn't keep it a secret anymore. She knew there was a risk of losing Santana but now that she had kissed her, she knew she would be unable to see Santana with another person without telling her. "I love you. I'm pretty sure I love you since the day we met." She said quickly.

"But you always pushed everyone away and said you weren't interested in anyone."

"But I'm not interested in anyone. Except you." Picked up the blonde.

"But are you gay?" Asked the Latina.

"I don't know what I am. All I feel is about you. So, I don't know what that says about my sexuality, but I know what it says about my feelings for you."

Santana didn't speak and Quinn mentally prepared to be rejected. However, she didn't expect her to take her hands and move closer to her until their bodies were touching. Quinn's breath caught and she waited for Santana to speak.

"Can I take you out on a date?" Asked Santana.

"What?" Quinn was flabbergasted.

"Can I take you out on a date?" Repeated the Latina. "I feel like I owe you something really good."

Quinn begins to take back her hands. "You don't owe me a thing. I don't want your pity."

Santana chuckled and grasped tightly her hands. "You are so damn stubborn. I want to take you on a date because I love you too."

"You what?" Squeaked Quinn.

"I love you too. I just never acted on it because I saw how you rejected everyone who came close to you. I just thought that you were not interested in dating. And I did not want to lose you. So, I never said a thing." She paused and got closer again. "And even if I don't remember our first kiss, I definitely want to do it again." She blushed a little bit.

There was a moment of silence as Quinn removed her hands from Santana's and put her arms around her neck. She pulled her closer and kissed her. The kiss wasn't languid or even fiery, their lips just stayed together for a few seconds, but it was still perfect for both of them.

After a few seconds, a breathless Santana leaned back and asked with the biggest smile, "Is this a yes?"
