Short chapter, had writer's block.

A strange sound greeted his ears. A chirping? Birds? He hadn't heard those since he was created. And the sky above was a rich blue with fluffy white clouds.

Then there was the sun, warm and bright, great FSM Zane felt like he could lie there forever.

"He just fell from the sky"

"Master Wu says he's the one,"

"He looks like a robot,"

"Is he really the master of ice?"

That last line got Zane's attention.

He sat up and looked at the people.

"My name is Zane, I am the master of ice, where am I?"

"You're in Ninjago," said the one in red, helping him up.

"That's impossible, Ninjago doesn't look like this," said Zane gesturing at the blue sky and sun.

"Wu said you're from a different timeline, how did you get here?" asked the black-clothed one.

"I was battling Lord Garmadon and the world suddenly disappeared in a flash and there was this voice," said Zane

"Do we exist in your time?" asked the blue one

"No, I am the last elemental master, the master before me was the only one able to pass his element on before he was killed by Garmadon's forces. Well other than the master of Amber, she passed her's to her daughter but the girl's father stole it for his own purposes before Garmadon killed him and the power was lost like all the others," said Zane

"Well I'm Kai, that's Cole in the black, and Jay in the blue, I'm the master of Fire, Cole is Earth, and Jay is the mouth of lightning,"

"Pleasure to meet you, is Garmadon defeated in this time?" asked Zane

"No but from the looks of it he's less dangerous than he was in your time," said Cole

"And what of the golden weapons? Does he have them? Do you?" asked Zane, frantically looking for where the shurikens of ice had gone.

"We have them, something tells me you didn't in your time," said Kai

"I had the shurikens but they were broken, held together by their element and my existence, Garmadon had the others, I've never seen them all together," said Zane

"Why don't you come into the monastery, we can talk in there and we can fill each other in on each other's timelines," said the red one, Kai he'd said.

Zane nodded and followed the brightly colored ninjas, not sure why they were claiming to be ninja while wearing colors that would make hiding very difficult, at least the black one was in a decent color for stealth.

Zane looked at the furniture, places to sit that were comfortable were only enjoyed by the tyrants in his timeline. He hesitantly sat on a sofa and gasped in surprise at how good it felt.

"You've never sat on a couch before?" asked Kai

Zane shook his head.

"In my timeline, the most comfortable thing the common people had was flax bags stuffed with dead grass, anything of genuine comfort was only for the royals, aka tyrants," said Zane

"I'm pretty decent with electronics, I can try to repair you before training starts tomorrow," offered Jay kindly.

"If you don't mind," said Zane

"We're a team now, we'll take care of you," said Jay with a smile
