~Yoshiteru's Decision~
After Yoshiteru heard Yui's confession. He stood there confused, unable to grasp his feelings so he thinked for a minute for a response and he said to Yui…
"Uhhh, Yuigahama-san. I am sorry but can you give me some time to think about my reply?" Yoshiteru asked Yui.
"Ahhh...Sure..." Yui accepted.
"Thanks, Yuigahama-san. I'll give you a reply tomorrow. I don't know what will happen, but it may be either good or bad." Yoshiteru said.
"No, no. It's fine…" Yuigahama said.
"Anyway, I'll be going to my training. Goodbye and I'll see you tomorrow, Yuigahama-san." Yoshiteru said.
"Also thanks for the cookies. I appreciate it." Yoshiteru said.
"You're welcome." Yui replied back.
After the confession. Yoshiteru walked to his tennis training, and Yuigahama walked to the Service Club and there she saw Hachiman and Shizuka and knocked and opened the door and said…
"Yahallo!" Yui greeted both Hachiman and Shizuka.
"Ah, Yui. Welcome." Shizuka greeted her back.
"Hello." Hachiman greeted her back as well.
"What are you two doing today?" Yui asked both Shizuka and Hachiman.
"Nothing really." Shizuka replied back.
"Yeah, nothing really." Hachiman replied back as well. Then Hachiman asked Yui…
"Yuigahama, why are you even here? You're not even part of our club." Hachiman asked.
"Wait? I am still not part of this club?" Yui became confused.
"Yeah, Yui. You still haven't passed any club form to be in this club." Shizuka said.
"AHHH, SHIZUKA. GIVE ME UNTIL TOMORROW TO MAKE A CLUB FORM!" Yui yelled to Shizuka asking for time.
"Ah sure, just give it to me during club tomorrow. But as for today, you can't be here because you aren't a member of the Service Club. So sorry, Yui, if you wanted to hang out today." Shizuka said.
"Okay thanks, Shizuka. I'll leave now and give the form tomorrow." Yui said.
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow then, Yui" Shizuka said.
"Bye, Hikki" Yui said.
"Bye." Hachiman said.
After Yui left, Hachiman and Shizuka stayed quiet, well one of them was. Shizuka was reading a new manga which was a drama manga. The manga made Shizuka cry and her cry made Hachiman question her…
"Hiratsuka, why are you crying so much?" Hachiman asked.
"It's-It's so sad because i'll never experience this. Look at this." Shizuka showed Hachiman the manga.
The manga showed a guy carrying a girl. This girl was popular, had many friends but deep down inside, she's lonely. Meanwhile, the guy was a decent-looking guy, quiet around people, but deep down inside, he's a nice person that anyone can depend on.
"I can see why you would cry at this, Hiratsuka" Hachiman said.
"I know right, like the guy actually looks pretty good but nobody likes him nor has any friends." Shizuka said.
"This manga was published like a month ago." Shizuka said.
"Quite recent." Hachiman said.
"You wanna try reading it? I can lend you this first volume after reading it." Hiratsuka said.
"Sure. I'll read it in my spare time, thanks." Hachiman said.
After Hachiman and Shizuka's short conversation about the manga that she was reading, the club room was quiet. Well, not really… Shizuka continued crying to her manga while Hachiman paid no attention and continued reading his book quietly until Shizuka was done reading the first volume.

"Hikigaya-kun, I am done reading. Here's the first volume. I'll give you the other volumes once you finish that." Hiratsuka said.
"Thanks, I'll give it to you tomorrow." Hachiman said.
"Sure, I'll leave now. See you tomorrow." Hiratsuka said goodbye.
"Yeah sure. Bye" Hachiman replied back.
After their little exchange, Hiratsuka and Hachiman had walked their separate ways and gone home. Meanwhile in the Tennis Club, Yoshiteru has been performing quite badly during his current practice…
"Why would, Yuigahama-san, out of all people like me?" Yoshiteru thought to himself.
"Was there any reason? Was it just for a bet? Did she just forget what I looked like 6 months ago?" Yoshiteru's thoughts went berserk.
"OII, YOSHITERU! FOCUS!" Yoshiteru's coach said.
"Sorry, coach" Yoshiteru replied.
After getting scolded by his coach. Yoshiteru blocked out his other thoughts and focused on his tennis practice. After the practice, Yoshiteru thought to himself that he should give his answer to Yuigahama…
"Yuigahama-san, why did you like me?." Yoshiteru said to himself
"All right, time to head home!" Yoshiteru screamed to himself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~the next day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Yo, Hachiman" Yoshiteru greeted Hachiman as always.
"'Morning…" Hachiman greeted him back but in a really sleepy tone.
"Hachiman, are you still sleepy?" Yoshiteru asked.
"Yeah, I read a manga that Hiratsuka gave me. Turns out, It was pretty good and I kept on reading until it was really late at night so I didn't get my normal amount of sleep." Hachiman said.
"Oh alright. Sorry, Hachiman, but I have to meet someone so I'll be going ahead. See you!" Yoshiteru said loudly as he ran.
"Sure..?" Hachiman was confused as to who the person was but still agreed. Then he thought…
"Oh, it must be dog-girl. Good luck, Yoshiteru" Hachiman prayed for Yoshiteru's good ending.
After Hachiman's short conversation with Yoshiteru. Yoshiteru ran to his school without any plans at all, this made him question himself…
"Why did I just run? I don't even know what I am gonna say to Yuigahama-san." Yoshiteru thought to himself.
"What should I do? Should I just ask her that question?" Yoshiteru thought to himself again.
After arriving at school. He saw Yui and approached her and said…
"Yuigahama-san, after school. Same place as last time, I have to tell you something." Yoshiteru said.
"Alright, sure" Yuigahama said.
After Yoshiteru requested Yui's time later, he headed to his classroom, where he saw Hachiman…
"Yo, Hachiman. Did you just arrive?" Yoshiteru asked.
"Yeah, I just arrived. What happened to your conversation with Yuigahama?" Hachiman asked.
"EHHH! HOW DO YOU KNOW?!" Yoshiteru was shocked by Hachiman's question.
"It's because I helped her in making those cookies that she gave you" Hachiman gave an explanation to Yoshiteru.
"That explains a lot now" Yoshiteru said.
"Yuigahama told me not to tell you, but since she already confessed and you already know, might as well talk to you about it." Hachiman said.
"Well, enough of that. What are you gonna do later?" Hachiman asked.
"I don't know, I just asked Yuigahama-san's time, but I don't even know what to say to her." Yoshiteru said.
"I have no idea as well, but knowing you, Yoshiteru. You can think of something." Hachiman surprisingly encouraged Yoshiteru.
"Yeah. Thanks" Yoshiteru gave thanks to Hachiman.
After Hachiman and Yoshiteru's little discussion, classes started. It was the usual as always. After a string of classes, lunch break started…
"Yo, Hachiman. Wanna get lunch in the cafeteria?" Yoshiteru invited Hachiman.
"Sure. I was already planning to go there either way" Hachiman agreed
After they left their classroom and walked their way to the Cafeteria, they lined up. Yoshiteru got a bowl of Ebidon and Hachiman got a bowl of Tsukemen. After they get their food, they find a table but then they see Shizuka and Yuigahama calling them out…
"Hikigaya-kun, come here!" Shizuka called out Hachiman.
"You can also bring your friend." Shizuka added as well.
"Yoshiteru, let's go to them." Hachiman asked Yoshiteru.
"Eh, but Yuigahama-san is there as well." Yoshiteru said.
"It's fine, It's lunch break." Hachiman said.
"Okay…" Yoshiteru hesitated but agreed either way.
After walking and sitting down with Shizuka and Yuigahama, they ate and also had a conversation with Shizuka and Yuigahama…
"Hikigaya-kun, did you finish the manga I lent you yesterday?" Shizuka asked.
"Yeah, it's in my classroom, I'll give it to you during club later." Hachiman said.
"Yeah sure. Thanks. Also Yuigahama, did you fill out the club form?" Shizuka asked.
"Yeah. It's also in my classroom. I'll give it to you later. I have to meet with someone later after class, so I'll be going there a little later than you two" Yui said.
"Alright. We'll wait for you" Shizuka said.
After a few exchanges of words. They finished their food, and walked back to their classroom. Since Yui, Hikigaya, and Yoshiteru are classmates. They walked back together, meanwhile, Shizuka walked alone because she was the only one from class 2J…
The last of the remaining classes have started. This went along as usual, without any problem. In a moment of time, classes ended like it was nothing, maybe because of the expectation of an event happening…
"Hachiman, you have club today right?" Yoshiteru asked.
"Yeah, everyday there's club" Hachiman replied.
"Tennis Club doesn't have practice today so I might head home first after meeting with someone. Is that fine with you?" Yoshiteru asked.
"It's fine. Good luck dealing with Yuigahama" Hachiman said.
"Thanks. Hachiman" Yoshiteru said.
After that. Yoshiteru left to meet with Yuigahama. Meanwhile, Hachiman thought of something while walking to the Service Club…
"It is better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you are not. Remember that, Yoshiteru…" Hachiman thought to himself.
Meanwhile after Hachiman's thought. Yoshiteru met with Yuigahama at the same place Yuigahama confessed to…
"Yuigahama, before I give you my answer to your confession. Is there any reason as to why you would like me?" Yoshiteru asked.
"Uhmm…" Yui cannot answer that question. Maybe because she was nervous, or the hard truth, which was that she didn't know the reason why she liked him at all?
"As I thought, I am sorry, Yuigahama-san. I cannot answer your confession at all" Yoshiteru said.
"But, once you know the reason. Tell me, then that'll be the time I'll give you my answer." Yoshiteru further added.
"Yes. I will. I'll give you a reason someday. " Yuigahama agreed to Yoshiteru's agreement.
"Let's just be friends first alright?" Yoshiteru said.
"Yeah sure." Yuigahama agreed.
After Yoshiteru and Yui's awkward exchange, they just went their separate ways. Yui said goodbye to Yoshiteru and went to the Service Club, while Yoshiteru just stayed on top of the roof…
"Yahallo!" Yui greeted the club.
"Yui, Welcome." Shizuka greeted Yuigahama back.
"Welcome." Hachiman also greeted her.
"Where's your club form?" Shizuka asked.
"Oh, here it is," Yuigahama said.
"Alright, thanks. Welcome to The Service Club." Shizuka welcomed Yui.
"Yay. I can stay here now! " Yuigahama said.
"Yeah, so be quiet. There's already a loud person here." Hachiman said.
"Hikki, you didn't need to be that strict, I am here to help y'know with Shizuka-chan~" Yuigahama said.
"Well, too bad. We don't have anything to do," Hachiman said.
"Ehhh, I thought you guys had a lot of stuff to do?" Yuigahama was shocked at how much stuff they don't have to do.
"Well, nothing so far. The last request we got was yours, so next week we might get a new request," Shizuka said.
"Oh alright." Yuigahama said.
After Yui gave her club form, she just talked with Shizuka the whole time. While Hachiman was just reading his novel like always until an hour later… Someone knocked on the Service Club's door…
"Come in," Shizuka said.
"Okay…" That person said,
After that. He opened the door, and when he opened that door, everybody was shocked when they saw him…
"Hi, my name is Yoshiteru Zaimokuza from Class 2-F. I am here to join the Service Club." Yoshiteru said.
"EHHHHHHHHH!" Everybody screamed.
This led to a confusing end. Yoshiteru, who is already part of the Tennis Club, is joining the Service Club?! Why did he join? Find out in the next chapter.
