This is just a one shot that I am writing for fun, as you probably know if you read heir of fire, in the last few chapters Aelin meets gavriel what if Aelin recognised him as her cousin's father. This has no real plot line, just for fun. Enjoy!

During the incident she meets icy Captain Whitethorn. They are thown together in a forced cooperation. Slowly they will find their lives entwined beyond work. A mess up with her powers take Aelin to the past were she meets here parents and gets reintroduced to her cousin. Rowan finds out Aelin is his mate. Aedion is almost scared of his cousins, cousin not queen. Aelin meets her mother and dead aunt as well as the other less likeable aunt.

"Elide, my darling girl. It's time to come home." (OR what if Vernon doesn't go down without a villainous, manipulative fight). KOA what if scenario.

Aelin is trying to find a job. This is hard to do when her only talents are singing, fighting and making coffee. Out of desperation, she auditions for a place in a bet, where 2 world famous singers, Rowan and Chaol, are choosing a person to sing for them in a competition. Will she get it? There may be some language but enjoy! :)
