Eclipsa Queen of the Blood Moon

Author's note: this story is based on the concept presented by Reptile edge. Read his Eclipsa Queen of Blood and Darkness fanfic for the better story. I will say my chapters are going to be shorter then I'm usually comfortable with… but don't worry I will do my best to keep it interesting.

Chapter 4: Prey And Predators

It was a warm night in Flea-bottom village. The town was quiet save for the bustle of the tavern near the edge of the town.

Out of said tavern came a drunkard, bottle in hand. He mumbled and sung a song. Swaying to and fro.

Out of the darkness Eclipsa watched the man and smiled.

The queen made her way to him. Walking seductively toward the man.

" Woah, humba-humba… you're a 'hic' sight for sore eyes." he said struggling to remain standing on his two legs. "i-m 'hic' Hector… what's 'hic' your name, beautiful?" he slurred his eyes drawn to Eclipsa's abundant chest.

"My name is queen… would you like to serve me?" Eclipsa said smiling at the man and her eyes glowing red… she didn't even need to use disciplines for this meal.

"Aye, I'll service you… heh he he 'hic' he ha!" he blustered.

"Why mr. Hector… I'm flushed." Eclipsa used some of her power to make her cheeks flash red.

"Oh ho ho, I didn't take such a fine honey like you for a shy one… heh I'll be 'hic' gentle… love."

"I'm sure you will… come with me." she led the drunkard toward the alley.

"Oh, now let's see your lovely twins." he made a grab to pull Eclipsa's dress down from her shoulders but before he could do anything his body froze… his blood turning against him.

"W-what the–" he felt Eclipsa bite into his neck drawing blood from him.

The man screamed in pain trying to pull from her but his body had completely turned against him.

"There there love, it's only a little love bite… you did say you'd serve me." Eclipsa replied after draining the last drop from him.

The man's body fell limp and the light was gone from his eyes. "Now… it's Hekapoo's turn to feed."

Eclipsa whistled and summoned from the shadows her entitled countess Hekapoo. "Now my dear It's time I teach you to hunt… using your disciplines."

"I am ready my queen." Hekapoo replied her red eyes showing submission.

"Alright first use your quietus to detect the nearest blood source that you can feed on." Eclipsa instructed.

Hekapoo narrowed her eyes as they turned black and sniffed ferociously. "There!" she exclaimed pointing to a big burly man making his way to the tavern.

"Good choice." Eclipsa replied, she approved of the target "Now how are you going to take him down."

"Well I would use my clones and my dimensional portal abilities to overpower him but…" the magic user said.

"But you are given the gifts of the vampyr and thus all lesser magics are purged from your body. This was their curse." she said, anger clear in her tone. She calmed herself and breathed in. "But, that old ax can wait to be grinded. Your dinner is escaping." Eclipsa pointed to the man.

"I will charge him…" Hekapoo said, readying herself to pounce.

Eclipsa placed her hand on Hekapoo's shoulder "wait instead of pure brute force. Why not try employing a clever method?" Eclipsa whispered in her ears.

"I can do all that?" Hekapoo confused amazed by her new powers.

Eclipsa nodded and pointed to the man as he was about to reach the entrance to an alley. "Now go get him."

Hekapoo grinned made her way seductively to the Man.

"Hey big boy… what's your name?" she asked showing her pretty red eyes and puffing out her chest.

The big man blushed and looked away from Hekapoo's cleavage. "Albrecht your ladyship."

Hekapoo chuckled and ran her finger down the man's muscular arm "Such big muscles… you are a brickhouse."

The man laughed nervously "T-thank you miss… but I must be on my way. Got my friends waiting at the pub."

"Ah, but I was hoping we could have some 'fun.'. Don't you want to play with me?" she asked making eye contact and using corona to enforce her will upon him.

"No I need to… yes, I do want to have fun with you." he said.

"This way, handsome." she said leading the man into the alley by the arm.

"S-sure…"

The two made their way to the alley and once They were out of sight.

"Now… present your neck, my darling." Hekapoo commanded using corona the discipline of the mind.

"Yes, my lady." he said his mind completely hers.

Hekapoo bit into the man and drained him. Unlike Eclipsa's servant he didn't move or resist. Once he was drained and Hekapoo laid him on the ground.

"Good work Hekapoo… now let's go… there is much recruiting to do." Eclipsa commanded.

"Wait! I'm still hungry… need more." Hekapoo still felt the burning hunger.

"Huh, I figured this would be a problem… normally your first feeding needs to be a week after you are embraced and for folks who have magic from before they require some magical blood to sustain them every now and then." Eclipsa began humming to herself and looked at the village.

"Look!" Hekapoo pointed to a little girl walking with her mother as they were heading to the tavern. "Let's eat."

"Hekapoo! No!" Eclipsa ordered.

"What? Why?"

"Because we are not child killers… we are not them." Eclipsa remembered them destroying Meteora in front of her… even when Korvid was alive they never hurt children. "I have just the meal in mind for you… and we're in luck because we will need a black knight."

"Very well my queen."

Mina loveberry was sharpening her swords humming to herself. She was excited with the news of Eclipsa escape. This time she can finish what her hero Solaria started.

Once her blade was nice and sharp she did a few practice swings. She began doing a sword dance and preparing for the battle to come.

"Oh you think you can use your foul monster magics to beat me Eclipsa? Well, how's about I cleave you in twain!?" Mina exclaimed letting out a guttural roar and with a mighty thrust smashed a crate next to her.

The sound of clapping rung in Mina's ears.

"Who's there? Show yourself!"

"You really showed that crate whose boss Mina. My mother made the right call when she chose you to be her second in command."

"Eclipsa! I was hoping I'd be the one to defeat you." Mina said her sword raised In defense she paced back. Placing her back against the wall.

"Oh I did miss how stupidly confident you were." she said.

"Why don't you face like a Mewman and I'll show you how strong I am."

The Queen of darkness's laughter echoed throughout the tower. Irritating the Mewman general.

"Stop it. Stop laughing! What is so funny!?" Mina didn't want to admit it but she was nervous.

"What is funny my dear Loveberry is… I am something more then any Mewman… let me show you." out of the floor boards shot the queen.

Mina Loveberry screamed and swung her sword wildly.

"Oh, how cute, you're trying to resist me." Eclipsa flicked the sword swipes away using her nails like a shield swatting away each attack.

"Shut up!" Mina kicked Eclipsa in gut knocking her back five feet.

The queen of darkness gasped but immediately started laughing again. "Now that's the ticket." Eclipsa opened her eyes and summoned a bolt of ice shooting it toward Mina,

The Mewman swatted the ice away and let out a victorious laugh.

Eclipsa hummed and pointed to Mina's sword.

Mina looked at it and saw the ice had frozen over the blade making it dull and useless. The ice was also absorbing into the hilt freezing it. Mina barely managed to drop it in time. The cold ice was still biting at her even after the blade was out of her grasp.

"So, y-you've got a little more fight in ya… I'll still take you down." Mina Loveberry jumped toward Eclipsa with an ax-handle smash… she was surprised to find she had only hit the ground. The Mewman warrior looked around and saw Eclipsa was gone.

"Where'd you go…?" Mina asked. "Hiding from me won't save you." Mina looked around pacing toward the crate of weapon's she had. Grabbing a spiked mace she readied herself for the vampire queens next assault.

"It wasn't me who needed saving from you… we both know how well you protected my mother." the queen's voice echoed.

"What do you know about that?" Mina asked looking around.

"My mother died due to your failure as a general."

Mina heart sank… for she knew it to be true. When Globgor's army rose to take Mewni, Solaria with heavy heart fought with him. During the final battle Solaria ordered all her soldiers and Mina to lead the citizens of Mewni into the castle walls while she fought off Globgor and his horde.

She had managed to kill the giant monster and save the world but it cost her her life.

It was with heavy heart that Mina buried her master and she never let go of the thought that she could save her.

"Look at yourself. Alone and friendless… a failure, a disgrace to my mother's legacy."

"Shut up. Shut up! You know nothing of queen Solaria."

"I know more then you ever could. Like how she was planning on marrying you off to a minor lord because you were quote 'too clingy' with her." Eclipsa's cackle bit into the warrior's spine.

"No she wouldn't… she was a good person."

"Yes… she was also a child killer!" Eclipsa body began to form in front of Mina. The shadows masking her form.

"Damn you… damn you!" Mina swung her mace and eclispa dodged. She did this over and over each time Eclipsa playful evaded her attacks.

"Boop." Eclipsa tapped her index finger on Mina's forehead in the midst of her barrage. She then clasped her fingers on Mina's on the bridge of Mina's nostrils. "Got your nose." she playful replied.

"Stop it! Take this fight serious you witch!" Mina exclaimed her voice naselly due to Eclipsa's tight grip on her nose.

"Okay." Eclipsa twisted on Mina's nose and used the momentum to slam her on the ground. She then picked her up by the nostrils and threw her into a pile of crates. That serious enough for you?"

Mina's muscles bulged and she surged up from the crates. Splinters of wood shooting out in all directions. "I will not stand for this! I am a warrior of mewni! Second in command to the greatest queen the multiverse has ever known! I am Mina Loveberry! You will die!" Mina flew toward Eclipsa her fist raised. She threw her punch.

She was surprised that when it was caught… it wasn't grabbed by Eclipsa's hand… it was Hekapoo's hand.

"What the–"

Hekapoo twisted Mina's fist and broke every bone in her hand.

"My queen, do I have permission to feed now."

"My queen? You traitor!" Mina exclaimed. Trying to rise but she felt a heavy weight on her.. she was being compelled to stay down.

"Not yet, what did you learn from me and Mina's little exchange?" Eclipsa asked, In the same tone a teacher would ask her students.

"That Mina can't fight when she's angry?"

"You've got the base idea… but what is the more general term?"

"Uh, I don't know my queen."

"Allow me to explain. It is easy to break the body… all is needed is for you to apply crude force, but the mind… that takes time, precision, tact. You need to know exactly where to hit. You break the mind and break the person… forever. Where as the body can heal all wounds… the broken mind is permanently damaged. So I use taunts, jabs, picking at the mental weaknesses of my enemy… then they make mistakes in combat, which makes it easier for me to defeat them. The humans call it psychological warfare. I do this until they know deep in their heart they have lost the fight before it even began… now you may feed." while she was saying this she never took her eyes off Mina which chilled the warrior to the bone.

"Wait please, why are you doing this? Revenge? Destruction? Chaos?" Mina voice was trembling as Hekapoo walked toward her with fangs bared.

"Love." Eclipsa replied.

"What?"

Hekapoo bit into Mina's neck drawing blood from her draining the warrior. Her body twitching as her eyes went white.

"Now my beautiful countess I give you the right of progeny… bring me my black knight."

"Yes, my queen." Hekapoo then bit into her arm drawing a gush of blood. She then feed Mina and the warriors eyes went from a dead white to a deep red.

Eclipsa then used her discipline to heal her servant.

"My queen what is it you ask of me?" Mina said her voice submissive.

"Mina, I hereby give unto you the rank of black knight. It will be your job to help me and Your countess find the rest of my entitled and help build my army. Do you accept?"

"Yes my queen." Mina said.

"Then rise and be empowered." Eclipsa released a power from her and it manifested as red energy filling Mina's nostrils. Her muscles bulged and her hair became a pure black. She looked like her muscular form but with red eyes and black hair.

"Good golly, I am in complete control!" She exclaimed.

"Yes, you are. Now Hekapoo I leave her training to you. Prepare her for her first feeding." Eclipsa looked up at the moon and sighed.

"Yes my queen." Hekapoo left with Mina.

"I miss you my love. But I know your spirit has been returned and found a new body… I will find you and we will be together… you, me, and our daugther… soon." Eclipsa looked into the moon and saw a single image… a boy in a red hoodie who looked just like a younger version of her love… "soon indeed."
