Author's note: this story is based on the concept presented by Reptile edge. Read his Eclipsa Queen of Blood and Darkness fanfic for the better story. I want to thank you all for another successful fanfic reception. You all are the best and I want to make sure you know I appreciate all your feedback.

Chapter 6: Awakened by The Blood Moon

Marco wiped sweat from his brow as he had finished screwing the last screw into the crib. He let out a breath of relief.

"I think we've earned a brake. Don't you marco?" Marco's dad said doing the same as his son.

"yeah, I'm parched how about you?" the boy said rising from seated position. He looked and was happy to see they had finally finished the crib.

"I do admit my boy without your help I would never have finished the crib. Thank you son." Marco's dad said walking with his son tot he chicken.

"Anytime dad. I want to make this as easy as possible for you guys. I know having a baby is stressful and I want to help ease the workload as much as I can." marco said pouring himself a glass of lemonade and another for his father.

Marco's dad took the glass with a smile and downed it with one gulp. "you're a good boy marco and I love you son."

"I know dad." Marco said with a chuckle.

"rafeal, marco, come here and look at my new dress." Angie said at the head of the stair.

"coming mom!" Marco replied.

The two diaz men dashed to the foot of the stairs and looked up at a red dress with blue and black flower embroidered into it.

"Mom you look stunning." Marco said.

"ah my dear you are coming along nicely."

marco noticed angies belly had begun showing signs of the child inside as a smooth bulge.

"You doing okay mom?' He asked. "you know you need to start thinking of staying off your feet more… for the baby and all that."

Angie blushed. "Marco you are a sweetheart. But trust me I'll fin–" Angie said this as she came down the stairs and slip. Her body rammed into the railing which gave way and caused her to fall down descending to the floor belly first.

"No!" Marco exclaimed and he lunged then before he knew it his mom was in his hand. "gotcha mom, is the baby okay." Marco asked.

"Marco? You're flying!?" Angie said.

"Huh?" Marco was confused and when he looked down he saw that he was levitating. The young teen screamed in shock and almost dropped his mom.

"What's going on!?" He exclaimed.

"Marco, did you get cursed again. Or is this the result of going to those different dimensions?" Rafael asked worry clear on his tone.

"I-I don't know, this has never happened before. I need to call star." Marco running up the stairs. He realized he got there twice as fast as usual. He was faster! What is going on! He thought.

Marco returned to star's old room and went to her mirror. He called the number and in a few moments stars vision showed up to marco.

"Marco? Can this wait? We're kinda having trouble here in mewni and I need to focus on this."

"Star I can fly!" Marco exclaimed.

"What!? For real!?"

"Yeah it just happened." Marco said shaking in panic. "I don't know what I'm going to do."

"Marco, I'll be there in a few moments just wait there." star said.

Marco stood by his driveway and saw the portal rift open. Marco nodded at star and she nodded back. They were awkard still since Star had gotten back together with her on again off again boyfriend tom. But marco knew he had a friend in star.

"Hey star how are you?" Marco asked red cheeked and not meeting his friends eye.

"I'm good. How are you?" She asked in the same way he did.

"Oh, I'm good. A little worried about being able to fly all of sudden. But I'm good." marco let out a small cough and cleared his throat. "we should go." he said.

"Yeah I agree." Star said.

The two teens walked through the portal to mewni. They entered the castle it looked like ti was preparing for war. The knights wore full armor and had weapons clearly shown in their belts. They had stone looks on their face. They glared at marco as if he could be an intruder.

"so star, you said something major was going on? What's up?" Marco asked not comforted by the militant force and sense of danger that claimed the castle.

"we'll talk about when we are inside. But long story short mewni is in danger again." Star said as they entered the castles main hall.

"Has toffee returned again?" Marco asked following Star.

"No worse." Star said short and abrupt. "but we have to get you to mom… I'd rather not dwell on it." She said.

"wow, it must be made. Too bad glossaryk lost his mind right… he always had the answers even if he didn't volunteer them easily." marco said.

Star froze and tears came to her eyes as she began to choke up.

"Star…" Marco asked.

"Marco, I need to think. Let's try and be quiet for awhile." Star said stomping up to her mothers room.

Marco was confused. Star was almost always bubbly and happy… what is going on. Marco didn't like this. What was going on and why didn't they call me to help. He liked to think that the mewmans could trust him to help them. So why was he out of the loop.

The two teens knocked on queen moons door and her voice told them to enter. Marco and star entered the room to see hundreds of books, scrolls, and folios scatterd on the queens work desk. She was studying a particularly thick volume as the two made their way to sit down.

"so marco, star tells me that you have manifested the ability to fly? Is that correct?" Moon asked not even looking up from her papers. She mumbled herself about how she needs to find the information she needs.

"Yes, I don't know what happened. But my mom fell from the stairs and I feared for her and my sibling inside her so I guess it was just instinct." Marco explained, his worry intesnsified as Moon was normally focused on ettiquette.

Moon hummed. "Any other abilites or just flight?"

Marco began to think "well I guess I'm kinda faster now. But other then that I don't think so."

"Uh huh, marco I will have my doctors look at you. You may be experiencing an influx of magic from all your travels across the multiverse… well look into it but I think you'll be fine. Star show him to the guest bedrooms and the go to the kitchen and fetch me another coffee… I will be need it for my research."

"sure thing mom. Come on marco." Star said leaving the room with marco.

"so star, what's the deal?"

"eclipsa has escaped. She is wrecking havoc on mewni."

"eclipsa? You mean your ancestor?"

"Yes and turns out she is this powerful vampire queen who has killed glossaryk, rhombulous and ponyhead. My mom is on high alert. She is researching for the location of solaria's vualt so we can destroy eclipsa." Star explained. Having Said it all made her realize that she really was scared and she fell in tears.

"Star, it's okay… I'm here." Marco comforted star he was surprised to hear that both the keeper of the crystals and glossaryk were dead as they had powerful magic at their side.

"Marco I lost ponyhead and I don't want to lose you too." Star said in sobs.

"don't worry star I'm not going anywhere. There is no way I'll let eclipsa take me from you. I promise." Marco paced his hand on her shoulder and she smiled.

"thanks marco… you're a good friend." Star said. "Now let's get you to your room." She said. Leading marco to his room and opening the door. It was a nice enough room. Marco whistled in amazement. "it's been awhile since I got a chance to stay in the mewni guest room. It's still as nice as always."

"thanks marco. Don't worry we'll get to the bottom of this." Star said.

"star?"

"Yeah marco."

"don't worry too much about eclipsa we can beat her together. Just like we did with toffee." marco said giving her a thumbs up.

Star giggled at that. "good old safe kid with a plan… you'll never change marco."

Marco smiled at that.

"Get some sleep marco."

"Okay good night star."

"good night marco."

Marco laid down on his bed and closed his eyes. He fell asleep in a second.

"Marco. What a pretty name." Woman's said in his head.

Marco's eyes shot open and he realized he was inside a bedroom that was more ornate then the guest bedroom of star's castle. There were pictures of many different noble men and over the bed was a picture of a man who looked like marco's older self except he had a full beard and red eyes. He was holding a little girl in a dress and beside him was a woman in a black dress with red eyes and mewman nobleborn cheek marks.

"where am I?" Marco asked. He felt a shuffling from under the bed and felt a finger be placed to his lips. A woman whose entire body was covered in shadows and whose face was concealed save for two red eyes.

"shssh my love, you'll wake meteora. Go back to sleep and we'll talk more in the morning." The woman said as she rolled back to sleep.

The moonlight leaked into the room as blood red.

"who are you?" Marco asked.

"I am your wife silly. Though I guess you're body is new and confused. I knew you'd come back to me. You're soul remembers who I am and the spell I cast to bring you back to me… both of you."

"Both of us?" Marco asked. Who was the other one she was talking about and as a matter of fact what was she talking about.

"no more time for questions. Just rest, I'll find you corvid when the time is right. Then we'll be reunited with our daugther… do not worry my love we will be a family soon. Now rest."

Marco awoke with a start and looked around he was back in the mewni castle guest room.

"what's going on?" Marco thought, something was fgoing on. Was that eclipsa? Why would she be in my dreams. What was she talking about… who is corvid.

hey guys i have been working so hard to make a dead line with these stories and i have realized that i am beat. so i am going to take the month of june off from writing but don't worry i'll post chapters again the first thursday of july with some new stories on the way... and some old ones getting updated too... thanks
