"Liv!" "Captain'' "Who is the date with? Anyone we know? Olivia chucked, looking up at them. "Yes and no. Don't you two have some paperwork to do? And if you don't I can always go find some..." The two detectives left, closing the door behind them.
Elliot: *txt* Pick you up at 8?
Olivia: *txt* I'll be the one in the heels.
A few hours later, Olivia straightened her clothes, having changed in her office into a deep purple top and dark blue jeans with matching dark purple heels. She finished up her paperwork, told Fin he was in charge, and walked out to the parking lot where Elliot waited, leaning against his car. He looked sexier than he had any right to, in tight jeans that melded to his very fine ass, and a pullover blue top that matched his eyes. He looked up when he saw her and pulled her close, inhaling the scent that was uniquely her. He had missed that smell, dreamed about it, about her for 10 long years. Knew if given the chance he would never leave her again. Wordlessly, he cupped her face and looked into her eyes, stroking her cheek. "I know we have a lot to talk about. And I know I have to earn a spot back in your life, and in your son's life. And I will, as long as it takes. But I just can't wait one more moment to do this. Elliot leaned in and slowly drew her close, kissing her full lips deeply. She wrapped her arms around him, angling as close as she possibly could, his touch burning a fire down her forearms where he held her. He sucked on her bottom lip, his tongue fighting with hers almost instantly, before moving his lips to her ear and then neck, leaving a hickey before he could stop himself. Slowly, they pulled away, breathing heavily, still clutching one another before she spoke, voice deep with want. "I think...it's only right it happened here where it all started." Grinning, she hopped into the waiting SUV, ready to follow him anywhere. "Drive, Detective". "As you wish Captain. " Once at the restaurant, it was like old times. They laughed and ate, and shared food, as if no time had passed at all. Except there were ten years of distance they tried to avoid discussing. On the way out, Elliot held her hand tight, never wanting to let go. He walked her up to her apartment, wrapping her arms around her waist, engulfing her in another long kiss. Her body was on fire from his touch, long dead synapses waking up and firing on all cylinders. His hands moved all over her back and gripped her hips, her hands sneaking under his collar, stroking the skin there. They stared at each other, heads touching, breaths in sync. "Tomorrow...maybe you can come meet Noah." He grinned, knowing how important this step was for them, for him. And he couldn't wait to meet the boy who was lucky enough to have Olivia Benson as a mother. "I'd love nothing more. I'll be here. Blink your lights.."
The next day, Captain Olivia Benson strutted into her precinct, and like every day, got right to work. She dove into paperwork, into her open cases, and came out to discuss their next steps with her squad. Amanda took point, explaining what they knew so far before faltering and biting back a chuckle, gaining a confused look from her boss. Instead of explaining, she looked at Fin, nodding in the direction of Olivia's neck. He then donned an identical shit eating grin. "Have a good time on that date last night Captain? Cause it looks like someone tried to eat you instead of the food." Liv turned red and blushed, reaching for the spot that was burning at his words with the memory of Elliot's lips there. She hadn't had time to study her neck and hadn't realized he had left a visible mark of affection on her. She was going to kill him. Flustered, she brushed off their words. "Continue Rollins, unless you'd like to be doing paperwork for a month." Fin looked at her, studying her. "You look happy baby girl. We're just glad to see it. It's about time. I always thought it would be you and...well. I'm glad you finally found someone. Just bring him around soon so we can make sure he treats you right, you hear?" Liv squeezed his shoulder, nodding. "Thank you Fin. You too Amanda. Really. Now can we please get back to work?" They worked long into the day, until a delivery man showed up. "Delivery for O. Benson?" "I didn't order any food..." "Well someone ordered for you ma'am. Sign here, tip is already taken care of. Enjoy." The smell of her favorite Chinese food hit her nose, making her smile. A quick glance told her he had remembered her favorites, the big softie. Across the room, Fin watched her, noting the delivery with watchful eyes. "Chinese huh?" Under his desk he sent a quick text. "Hey Munch...you know that bet we had? I think it may be back on."
