Thursday night
Jason was walking home after making sure his friends got home safely.
He felt the cool night air rolling around him and was enjoying the solitude when his danger sense went off and he rolled to the side.
A girl flew past him slashing at him with a knife.
Jason created a knife in each hand. "I don't know who you are, but you made a mistake attacking me by yourself."
"Blood!" The girl yelled. "I need blood!"
"Why?" Jason asked before taking a good look at her. She was dirty and wore an outfit that was dirty and scuffed in places with some cuts on it.
Her hair was dirty and looked like it hadn't been washed in a while.
"Hey." He asked. "Are you okay?"
"I need blood!" She yelled.
"Okay, okay. How much blood do you need?"
"I need blood!" She yelled again.
Jason took a good look at her and felt pain in his stomach like he hadn't eaten in a while.
He felt pain in his limbs that he hadn't felt since the alternate reality.
This girl was starving.
"Okay. If I give you some blood and food will you calm down?"
"Blood!" She yelled salivating.
Jason made his knife disappear and led the girl back to his Apartment.
Once there he kicked his shoes off at the door and walked into his room.
He walked to his closet and opened a panel in the back of his closet and opened a mini fridge.
He took out a blood bag and tossed it to the girl who began drinking the blood greedily.
He watched her drain his blood like it was the first thing she'd had to eat or drink in a while.
He took out three more blood bags and handed them to her before looking up to see a large box with a Red Cross on the side.
Above the first aid box was another box. He replaced the panel and put his closet back to its proper state before turning around.
The girl was on her third blood bag and looked up at him. "Fanks." She said around the bag.
"You're welcome. Want to tell me what happened?"
"You aren't wondering why I'm drinking blood like you would drink a six pack?" She asked reaching for the fourth blood bag.
"I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your Quirk."
The girl dropped the blood bag in shock.
"What? Did I say something wrong?"
"No. You're the first person who guessed that. Everyone else thinks I'm a monster."
"Have people hurt you because of it?"
The girl got quiet.
"Where are your parents?" He asked tentatively.
The girl's eyes went dark.
"Did they hurt you?"
The girl closed in on herself.
"If you don't want to talk about it tell me, but I want to help you."
"No one wants to help me." She said in a pained tone.
Jason got up and walked to his dresser and pulled out a pair of Pajamas before walking to the cupboard in the hall and grabbed a towel.
"Here." He said handing her the clothes and the towel. "The bathroom is right there." He pointed at the bathroom. "I'll get you something to eat. My mom is probably still at the hospital, so we have a bit of time before she gets home."
The girl put her knife to Jason's throat. "What are you trying to pull?"
"What do you mean?"
"Your mom isn't home. You're trying to get me to shower. You're making me food. Are you trying to drug me so you can..."
Jason grabbed the girls arm and pulled her hand away from his throat before flipping her over his shoulder and slamming her into the floor. "I wouldn't need to drug you!" He snapped at her.
She jumped up and stabbed at him.
He let the knife hit him, but activated his armor melting the metal.
The girl looked at her blade. "What did you do to my knife!" She demanded.
"I melted it."
"Why?"
"You tried stabbing me."
"But you melted my knife!"
"Here." Jason said taking the hilt and creating a knife blade. He stuck the blade to the hilt melting it in place.
He walked to the bathroom and ran the blade under the water cooling it off.
"What did you do?" The girl asked.
"I made you a new knife."
The girl hugged him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She Squealed as if no one had ever given her anything or replaced anything of hers before.
"Um... You're welcome?" He said rubbing the back of his neck.
The girl grabbed the clothes and the towel Jason had given her and walked into the bathroom.
Jason walked into the kitchen and took out a steak, a package of mixed vegetables, a curry pack, and some rice.
The girl came out wearing her underwear. "I need help." She said hopefully.
Jason looked away. "What do you need help with?" He asked.
"My hair." She pouted turning around.
Jason looked at her and saw that her hair was knotted up.
"Let me go grab my mom's conditioner. I think that untangled hair."
Jason went to his mom's bathroom and came back with a comb, a brush, shampoo, and conditioner.
The girl grabbed his hand and pulled him into the bathroom with her.
'What the Hell! what the hell! what the hell!' He thought. 'I'm in a bathroom with a girl! Damn it! What am I going to do!'
She stood under the water and soaked her hair.
Jason put the conditioner in the girl's hair and began working it through her hair while looking anywhere but at her.
When he'd worked the conditioner into her hair, he pushed her head under the shower head and rinsed it before combing through it.
When he came to a knot in her hair, he pulled it out slowly, making sure that he didn't hurt her.
when he was done, he left the bathroom so she could take the rest of her shower.
The girl laughed at Jason's obvious discomfort. It was the first time she'd laughed in a long time. It felt good.
Jason went back to the kitchen and started cooking the rice and steak.
Once the steak was done, he cubed it and mixed in the vegetables and stirred them together before adding the curry pack.
The girl came out wearing the Pajamas that Jason had given her and sat at the table. "Thank you." She spoke.
"You're welcome. Are you hungry? I have a raw steak if you want it." Jason offered.
"Do you think I only survive on blood?" The girl asked almost offended.
"I don't know. Do you?"
"NO!"
"Okay, okay. I'm making Curry. Do you want some of that?"
"I've never had curry before."
"What happened?"
"What do you mean?"
"I know when someone has had a bad life..."
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT A BAD LIFE!" She snapped as if someone had flipped a switch
"I know more than you think. At the age of six I was abandoned to the streets. I lived on the streets for three years until I was found by a man who took me to a reform school where I was beaten for not stealing, fighting, or lying. I ran away after three years and found someone who helped me."
"Who was it?"
"The same man who put me there in the first place."
"What did you do?"
"He took me in and trained me."
"Then how did you get here?"
"Do you believe in reincarnation?"
"No."
"Well. That's what happened. I worked with the man for three years before I was brutally beaten to near death and blown up. I was reincarnated into this world."
"BULLSHIT!" The girl yelled. "You can't pass a dream off as real-life experience!"
"I didn't. You can't taste food or feel pain in a dream. Yet I know what rotten food tastes like, and I have a heightened pain tolerance from being beaten to near death."
"PROVE IT!"
Jason created a crowbar and handed it to the girl. "Hit me with it as hard as you can with that."
The girl looked at the crowbar.
Jason cooled the crowbar off and handed it to her.
She took the crowbar and thought about Jason making fun of her. She hit him and didn't stop.
When she finally did stop, she looked at Jason on the floor. He was panting heavily, but other than that he didn't seem phased at all.
She looked at the crowbar and dropped it. "Why didn't you defend yourself?"
"I had to prove that I wasn't lying."
"And letting me beat you senseless was the way to prove that?"
"It was a way."
The girl dropped into her seat.
The crowbar disappeared, and Jason got to his feet shakily. "I'm not lying to you. I know what you've gone through."
"No, you don't. You haven't been locked up except for going to the Quirk suppressors. My Parents kept me locked away until I nearly died. I ran away hoping to find some blood."
"But I thought you said that you don't survive solely on blood."
"I don't, but I still need it to keep my blood levels up. Blood is how I stay alive... and, it's how my Quirk works."
"That's cool. I have a friend who will want to talk to you about that."
The girl had stopped listening after Jason said her Quirk was cool. No one had ever told her that her Quirk was cool.
"Hey." Jason said. "I forgot to ask. What's your name?"
"Oh. My name is Himiko Toga."
"Hey Toga. Will you tell me where your parents live?"
"Why?"
"I'm going to make sure they never hurt anyone ever again." Jason growled.
Toga couldn't believe what she was hearing. Jason was saying that he was going to kill her parents.
Jason cleaned the blood up and went to wash up, leaving Himiko to her own thoughts.
The door opened and Sheila walked in.
"Hey Jason." Sheila said tiredly. "Sorry I'm late. We had several people come in and I needed to stay late."
Sheila put her purse on the table and saw Himiko. "Um..." She spoke. "Did I walk into the wrong apartment again?"
"I don't think so." Himiko said.
"Then what..."
"Hey mom." Jason said walking into the kitchen.
"JASON!" Sheila yelled when she saw him. "What happened?"
"I saw these guys attacking Himiko and stepped in. They got in a few good hits, but I chased them away."
Sheila ran over to Jason and looked him over. "Is anything broken?"
"I don't think so."
"Come on." Sheila said. "We are going back to the hospital. Come on Himiko."
"What about dinner?" Jason asked.
"Don't worry about dinner."
Sheila led Jason and Himiko to the subway and to the hospital.
When they got to the hospital Himiko began feeling on edge.
"What's wrong Himiko?" Jason asked.
Himiko stayed quiet.
Jason handed Himiko his phone and created a new one.
J: What's wrong?
H: I don't like hospitals and I don't trust doctors.
J: Do you trust me?
H: For whatever reason I feel like I can trust you, and I don't know how I feel about that.
J: Why can you trust me?
H: You were the first person that was nice to me.
J: Let's talk about that later.
H: Fine, but you were the first person that was nice to me.
J: I will want a list of the people who hurt you.
H: Okay.
J: You aren't going to ask why?
H: No. I want to help. ;)
J: Fine.
They were interrupted when they were called back.
Jason laid flat on his back as the doctors took X-Rays of his entire body.
"What are they doing to him?" Himiko asked.
"They are taking X-Rays to make sure his bones aren't broken. After this we will take him to get an MRI and CAT Scan to make sure everything else is okay. We will also do the same for you."
"Why-why me?"
"Because." Sheila replied. "Jason said that you were attacked by some bad people. I want to make sure you weren't hurt."
"I wasn't!" Himiko yelled.
"Himiko." Sheila said dropping to one knee so she could look her in the eyes. "I'm a doctor, so I know a child suffering from abuse. Will you tell me what happened?"
Himiko backed away. "I don't trust doctors." She hissed.
Sheila felt anger bubble up inside her. Someone had taken this girl to doctors who hurt her, and now she didn't trust people she was supposed to. "Do you trust Jason?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Do you think that Jason would trust someone who would hurt another person?"
"I don't know."
"I won't hurt you Himiko."
Himiko looked at Sheila. She had learned not to trust adults. Adults had taken advantage of her Naïveté and hurt her. Adults were not meant to be trusted.
Sheila broke Himiko out of her thoughts by handing her a hospital gown. "You're turn."
"For what?" Himiko growled.
"Your X-Ray."
"I don't think so."
"You need to get an X-Ray so we can see if anything is wrong."
"There's nothing wrong with me!"
"I'm not saying there is, but we need to make sure you are okay."
Himiko drew her knife and pointed it at Sheila. "I told you. I'm fine!"
"Himiko." Jason said. "What are you doing?"
"She told me to wear that." Himiko pointed at Sheila holding the hospital gown.
"Himiko. Do you trust me?"
"You are the only one who has been nice to me in my entire life..."
Jason felt a spike of malicious intent coming from his mom.
"... So, with that in mind you are the only one I can really trust."
Jason handed the hospital gown to Himiko. "Then will you change into this?"
Himiko took the hospital gown from Jason and stripped down in the hallway before putting it on.
Jason spun around and covered his eyes.
Sheila rolled her eyes and covered them. This wasn't the first time a child was lashing out by stripping in front of the doctors, though it was the first time a teenager had done it in a while and wasn't trying to get a doctor's attention.
When Himiko was in the hospital gown she huffed.
"Thank you." Sheila said.
"I didn't do it for you." Himiko glared at her.
Sheila walked Himiko into the X-Ray room and helped her onto the table.
Jason walked in and held Himiko's hand. "Don't worry. I'm right here. Do you want to give me your knife to hold onto?"
Himiko's grip tightened on her knife.
"They can't take X-Rays if you have metal on you."
Himiko begrudgingly gave Jason her knife.
The X-Ray technician began taking X-Rays of Himiko.
When they were done Jason gave Himiko her Knife back.
Sheila looked over the X-Rays. "Well, the good news is that neither of you have any broken bones."
"The bad news?" Jason asked.
"There are two more tests to run."
"Let's get them over with." Jason yawned.
The trio made their way to the MRI room.
"Hi Sheila." The Technician said.
"Hey Haruto." Sheila sighed.
"Rough night?"
"Yeah. Jason was walking home and found Himiko being attacked."
"Oh. I'm sorry Himiko. Are you okay?"
Himiko hid behind Jason.
"Himiko doesn't trust doctors." Jason explained.
"Did a doctor hurt you Himiko?"
Himiko stayed behind Jason.
Jason felt a flicker of anger come from Haruto.
"Come with me Jason." Haruto said.
Jason was led to the MRI machine, and laid down on the table before Haruto sent him into the machine.
"I need you to lay very still Jason, do you think you can do that for me?"
"Yeah." Jason said.
"Also, close your eyes"
Jason closed his eyes, and relaxed.
"So." Jason's Quirk said. "How does it feel to have control of your Quirk?"
"It felt good not having to worry about losing my humanity. Though I do have a question."
"Shoot."
"How will I explain not losing my humanity."
"Didn't you already tell them that you gained control of your Quirk?"
"Sort of, but..."
"Jason." Haruto said. "Jason. Wake up."
Jason blinked awake. "What happened?"
"You fell asleep."
"Oh. Sorry I guess."
Jason got up and walked to his mom and Himiko.
"Are you all right Jason?" Sheila and Himiko asked in unison.
"Yeah. I'm just tired, that's all."
"Okay." Sheila said. "Himiko, it's your turn."
Himiko glared at Sheila. "I'm not going in there."
"Himiko..." Sheila tried.
"Wait." Jason said. "Himiko. If I am in the room with you will you take the tests?"
"I suppose." Himiko said.
"Let's go." Jason said walking into the room with Himiko.
Himiko laid down on the table and was sent into the machine.
"Please relax young Himiko." Haruto said.
"I'm right here Toga." Jason said putting his hand on her ankle. "I'm right here."
Himiko seemed to calm down after that.
Haruto finished the MRI scan, and they made their way to the CAT scan lab.
Once there Jason laid on the machine first and relaxed.
"Where were we?" Jason's Quirk asked.
"I don't remember."
"I asked you if you told your friends about gaining control of your Quirk."
"I told them that I control my Quirk by controlling my emotions."
"That is one way of looking at it."
"Then what is the..."
Haruto shook Jason awake.
"What happened?" He asked.
"You fell asleep again."
"Sorry."
"Just make sure you get plenty of sleep tonight."
"Will do."
Himiko walked into the room and took Jason's hand.
Jason held her hand while she laid on the table, and the CAT scan began.
When it was done Himiko jumped off the table.
"Let's go." Sheila said. "It will take a few days before they get the results."
"What about me?" Jason asked gesturing at himself.
"Normally I would heal you, but if I don't know what's wrong, I could hurt you."
"We can email you the results when we get them Doctor Haywood." Haruto said.
"Thank you Haruto."
"You're welcome Doctor Haywood."
The trio made their way back to the subway.
When they got to their stop they began walking home.
They were two blocks from their apartment when three teenage kids came out of the shadows.
"Oh hell no." Jason said creating twin pistols and pointing at two of the teenagers.
Himiko did four cartwheels before Somersaulting over the third and poked her knife into his ribs. A wicked smile came across her face. "Give me a reason not to kill you." She giggled showing her fangs.
"Jason! Himiko!" Sheila yelled.
The teenagers looked shocked. "Hey!" The second one Jason was aiming at said. "We weren't going to do anything."
"Right." Jason scoffed. "Three guys out late at night, wearing dark clothes. Not to mention the lust and malicious intent rolling off you."
"You've got it all wrong. We weren't trying..." The teen Himiko was holding said.
"Don't lie." Himiko said giddily. "I trust Jason. So, if he says someone is trying to hurt us, I believe him"
"Fair enough." The first teen said turning his arms into tentacles.
Jason shot him in the shoulder.
The teen fell to the floor in agony as his nerve endings caught fire.
The second teen turned his hands into knives, but Jason shot him in the foot.
Himiko licked the third teens neck before breaking the skin and tasting his blood. "Ugh." She complained. "Your blood is bitter, unlike Jason's."
The third teen bashed his head into Himiko's. "Get off me bitch!" He yelled before wrapping his hand around Himiko's wrist and paralyzing her before pulling her in front of him to act like a human shield. "You're not going to risk hurting her."
"No." Jason said. "I wouldn't, but that was your first mistake, and it's going to be your last."
"What are you talking about?"
Jason let his eye's flash black and red. "You hurt someone I care about. That was your first and last mistake."
The teen looked at Jason in horror.
"You have three seconds to let her go before I introduce you to the sidewalk and trust me when I say that your relationship will be intimate."
The teen let Himiko go and ran away.
Jason shot the teen in the calf.
Jason's eyes went back to their normal color and he ran over to Himiko.
Sheila walked up to them and waved her hand over Himiko.
Himiko's muscles relaxed, and she lunged at Jason.
Jason held Himiko. "Himiko. Himiko. It's me. It's Jason."
Himiko struggled a little longer before calming down. "Jason?"
"Yeah. It's me."
Himiko stood up and looked around. "Where is that guy who paralyzed me!" She demanded.
"He ran away. I shot him."
Himiko crossed her arms over her chest. "I wanted to kill him."
"Let me heal them and we can go home." Sheila said.
Jason nodded, but Himiko glared at the teens. "You should leave them like that." She growled.
"I'm a Doctor, Himiko. It's my responsibility to heal them."
Himiko crossed her arms over her chest and waited for Sheila to finish healing them.
They walked to the third teen and Sheila healed her while Jason held Himiko back.
When Sheila finished, they walked home.
They walked through the doorway of the apartment, and Sheila looked at the clock. "2:00 A.M." She groaned.
"Go to sleep mom." Jason said. "I'll get Himiko taken care of."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. She can have my room, and I'll sleep on the couch."
"Okay. Good night Jason."
"Night mom."
Sheila went to her room, leaving Jason and Himiko to their own devices.
Jason walked Himiko back to his room and gave her three more blood packs. "I'm going to need to get more blood packs soon."
Himiko was sipping the blood pack. "Your blood is really good. It's got the right mix of sweet and tart."
"Not many people like the taste of blood you know."
"They don't know what they are missing. Blood is so good, and some blood is so good that it makes me..."
"Please don't finish that sentence." Jason said.
"Ohh." Himiko grumbled. "You're no fun."
"Are you going to be okay?"
"Yeah."
"Okay. In the morning I'll give you some more blood."
"Thanks Jason." She squealed and hugged him.
Jason hugged her back.
He left his room and went to the kitchen and cleaned up before going to the front room and laying down on the couch.
"There was a point I was trying to make." Jason's Quirk said.
"Oh. And what is it?"
"I was going to tell you my name."
"Really? All that talking just to learn your name?"
"I could rescind that offer."
"No, no. Just curious is all.
"I understand your curiosity. My name is Efreeti."
"Efreeti?"
"Yes. I am a Demon who can create weapons out of fire."
"How do you explain everything else I can create?"
"I give you the power to create. Whatever you choose to create will be created. Now, sleep."
Jason went to say something, but he fell into unconsciousness.
Friday.
Himiko woke up feeling hungry.
She hadn't eaten anything since last night.
She got up and went to the kitchen.
She was looking through the fridge when the light flicked on, causing her to draw her knife.
"Himiko?" Jason mumbled wiping his face. "What's wrong?"
"I got hungry." She spoke.
"Oh. Do you want me to make you something?"
"Sure."
"What do you want?
"I'll have whatever you're having."
Jason took the bacon, eggs, and bread out of the fridge.
He fried the bacon in a pan and saved the grease when he was done.
He wiped the grease in the pan and began frying eggs.
He put coffee on and began buttering the bread.
Sheila woke to the smell of bacon and coffee.
She looked at her alarm clock and saw that it was 5:30.
'How can Jason be up this early?' She asked herself.
Sheila got up and went to the kitchen where she saw Himiko sitting at the table, and Jason fixing breakfast.
"Jason?" Sheila asked. "How much sleep did you get?"
"I got to sleep shortly after 3:00."
"How are you functioning on two and a half hours of sleep?"
"You're one to talk."
"I'm a doctor, what's your excuse?"
Jason picked up a cup of coffee. "Caffeine." He said downing the cup.
"I see. Hopefully, you don't do this on a regular basis."
"Only when I can't sleep." Jason said.
"Good. I'd hate it if you were leading a second life or lying to me."
"Yeah. Good thing I'm not doing either." Jason lied.
Sheila looked at Jason. "Just don't get hurt."
"I won't."
"Thank you. Now, let's eat."
They sat down to eat.
After breakfast Sheila took care of the dishes and told Jason to get ready for the day.
Jason grabbed a new outfit and went to the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day.
"So." Sheila said to Himiko. "Want to tell me your story?"
"No." Himiko said bitterly.
"Did you tell Jason?"
"No. He figured most of it out by himself."
"That's my Jason. He has a way of reading people."
"I only had to correct him a few times."
"So, do you still not trust me?"
"I've only known you for a day."
"You've known Jason for only a day."
"Jason gave me a reason to trust him."
"What did he do to gain your trust so quickly?"
"He brought me here, and gave me food, and a place to stay when no one else would."
Sheila felt anger bubble up inside her stomach again. "What did your parents do to you?"
"They locked me in my room. Fed me table scraps! Made me visit a Quirk suppressor! AND NEARLY KILLED ME BY DENYING ME THE ONE THING THAT I NEED TO SURVIVE!
With each statement Himiko made, it made Sheila more and more angry.
"I take it that's what you meant by Jason's blood, last night?"
"What if it is?"
Jason was in the shower when he felt a stab of anger. He rinsed and dried off before getting dressed and rushing out.
"Mom? Himiko? What's wrong?"
"We were just talking." Sheila said.
"I felt anger."
"That was me." Himiko said. "Your mom wanted to know what my parents did to me. So, I told her."
"Oh."
"Yeah. Oh." Himiko said.
"Himiko. Why don't you go take a shower?" Sheila suggested.
"Fine." Himiko said walking to the bathroom.
"Jason." Sheila said. "We need to talk."
"About what?"
"How are you giving Himiko blood? You don't have any puncture wounds. So that means you have blood packs that you're giving her. Where are they?"
"I did give Himiko blood packs. They are hidden."
"Why?"
"She needs blood to survive."
"That's not what I meant. Why do you have blood packs in the first place?"
"In case I, or someone else, needs a blood transfusion."
"How are you drawing the blood? Where are you getting the equipment? When did you start doing this? What else are you hiding from me?"
"Whenever I would go to the hospital with you, I would take some of the equipment for drawing blood, I have been storing blood in a specialized container that keeps it cold, I started doing this after the incident with Anna, and you don't want to know what else I've been hiding from you."
"I am your mother! I have a right to know!"
"What I've been doing, is making sure that my friends and family are safe."
"Jason. Tell me what you are doing?"
"I have been making plans to keep you safe."
"That didn't answer my question."
"FINE!" Jason yelled pulling out his phone. He unlocked it and opened a hidden app before showing her. "This is what I'm working on."
Sheila scrolled through the app. She was both shocked and impressed with Jason. There were different armor sets, weapons, gadgets, vehicles, chemical equations, and bios on people. "Jason? what is this?"
"Since I found out how dangerous my Quirk is, I have been designing Armor, Weapons, Vehicles, Gadgets, etc. So, I don't need to rely on my Quirk. Since I started attending UA, I have started keeping files on the teachers and my classmates, and after the USJ incident I'm going to start looking for which of them might be a traitor."
"I can understand the armor and stuff, but what are these formulas? You're a smart kid, but these chemicals are highly advanced. What even are they? What is this... Venom?"
"That's a hypothetical compound. I tried thinking of a way to give a temporary strength boost, but I can't think of how to make it with negative consequences."
"Is it a drug?"
"I'm trying to find a way to make it without the use of drugs."
"You aren't going to use it... are you?"
"Not until I figure out how to make it safe."
Himiko came into the kitchen. "Make what safe?"
"A support item."
"Okay."
Sheila looked at Himiko who was still wearing Jason's Pajama's. "Himiko. Do you have clothes?"
Jason went to his room and came back with a blood pack and Himiko's outfit from the day before. "This is what she was wearing when I found her."
"We need to take you shopping."
"Only if Jason comes. No offense, but I still don't trust you."
"Fine. I'm going to get ready, check my emails, and then we will go."
"Okay." Jason said.
Sheila went to get ready.
Jason looked at Himiko. "Where do your parents live?" He whispered.
Himiko looked at Jason. "I wanted to help you."
"I don't know if I can get back in time. If I can't I need you to stall.
"Fine." Himiko said giving in.
Sheila was in the shower thinking about what Jason had told her. What kind of a mother was she for letting Jason do the things he was doing? Stealing medical supplies, designing armor, weapons, vehicles, gadgets, strength enhancing drugs. Keeping files on his teachers, and classmates. Lying to her. Did she go wrong somewhere?
She stayed in the shower until the water went cold before getting out.
She dried off, got dressed, and sat down at her desk.
She began scrolling through her emails looking for an email from Haruto.
She found one and opened it.
Dr. Haywood,
I got the results back from Jason's and Himiko's MRI's and CAT scans. The results on Himiko's suggest that she is missing nutrients in her bones and muscles. We can run tests to see what nutrients she is missing and get her the nutrient packs she needs to get to where she seems to have some muscle damage, but that could be linked to the MMA Dojo you've mentioned he attends. All in all, I sent you the scans in case you want to look at them yourself.
Sincerely,
Satoshi, Haruto.
Sheila looked through the scans and was pleased that Jason wasn't too badly hurt.
She was worried with Himiko's scan though. If what Himiko said was true, then she was suffering from malnutrition.
She finished getting ready and walked to the front room where Jason and Himiko were sitting.
"Ready to go?" Jason asked.
"I just have one thing to do before we leave." She said before waving her hand over Jason.
Jason felt rejuvenated and replenished as his body was healed from the day before. "Thanks mom."
"Don't thank me yet. You're going to have to repay the hospital for taking the Phlebotomy equipment, and you are grounded."
"What! Why?"
"You stole hospital equipment..."
"I took the old equipment they were going to throw away!"
"What?"
"When I took the stuff, it was because they were going to throw it away. I took it and repaired it as best as I could. Even the refrigeration unit."
"Where did you get the needles and blood bags?"
"I took the damaged ones and had them repaired."
"Do you know how unsanitary that is?"
"I had them cleaned too. I took them to a guy I know who repairs and cleans things with his Quirk if you bring him food. Depending on what it is depends on what kind of food he wants."
"And what did he want for repairing and cleaning the medical supplies?"
"The Phlebotomy equipment cost a sushi roll and a green tea. The refrigeration unit cost a large bowl of extra hot curry. The needles and blood bags cost a bowl of katsuden."
Sheila wiped her face. "Are you sure that you did nothing illegal?
"The only illegal thing I did was take stuff that was damaged and hide the fact that I have been making my blood packs."
"How did I not notice the puncture marks?"
"I would only make blood packs when you were at the hospital on Friday nights and covered it up by wearing long sleeved shirts, and you'd heal it after MMA practice."
"I don't suppose telling you to stop would stop you."
"You can tell me to stop, but it wouldn't stop me. You would have to watch my every waking moment."
Sheila rubbed her face again. "Damn it Jason."
"Mom. As much as I know this must be hurting you, I am not doing this out of self-destructive or selfish reasons. I'm doing this as a worst-case scenario. It's not like I'm doing drugs, drinking alcohol, or sneaking girls in to have sex. Hell, because of this I might have kept Himiko from becoming a serial killer."
Sheila looked at Jason and sighed. "But you've been lying to me."
Jason looked at his mom. He knew she was hurt, and he didn't like hurting her, but she didn't know about his past. This was all stuff that he did in the other universe, but he had help from Bruce. He also hated the fact that he lied to her about other things.
Jason ran to the address Himiko told him.
He ran up to the door and knocked on the door.
A man answered the door. "Are you Toga-San?"
"Yeah. What want?"
Jason kicked Toga-San in the knee. "what is your problem!"
"Shit!" Toga's dad yelled. "What's your problem!"
"You're my problem!" Jason yelled walking in and closing the door. "What the hell were you thinking doing that to Himiko!"
"Why do you care about that freak of nature?!"
Jason curb stomped Himiko's dad's kneecap.
"AAAHHHH!" He yelled as his knee broke.
"She is your daughter! You are supposed to protect her! Instead, you locked her in her room! Starved her! Neglected her! You disgust me!"
"Atsushi?!" A woman asked coming into the room. "What's wrong!?"
"Aimi!" Atsushi groaned through the pain. "Run!"
Jason looked at Aimi. "Did you willfully neglect your daughter!"
"That monster wasn't my daughter!" Aimi spat.
"Why didn't you just take her to an orphanage, as much as that thought disgusts me, it would be better than enduring your torture."
"Why would I curse someone with that monster!"
"If you don't want her, then sign her over to Sheila Haywood!"
"what! Are you saying that she would take that, that thing!"
"STOP CALLING HER THAT! IF YOU WEREN'T SO AFRAID OF HER THEN YOU COULD SEE HER AS YOUR DAUGHTER AND NOT A MONSTER!"
Aimi took out a packet from a drawer. "If we sign this, will you leave us alone?"
"Yes, but you might want to leave. I might be back."
"Fine." Aimi and Atsushi Signed in triplicate custody of Himiko Toga over go Sheila Haywood.
Aimi Gave Jason the three envelopes. one for him and two copies to put in the mail to the Family Court, and Child Welfare Services.
"I'll be back." He said taking the copies.
He ran to the Mailbox and mailed the copies to the Family Court and Child Welfare Services.
He ran back to his apartment and climbed the wall into his room, put on some deodorant, and ran to the front room where Himiko was sitting.
They waited two minutes before Sheila came out.
He'd made it back home and his mom was still in her room. He told Himiko what had happened, and they sat waiting for Sheila.
"I know mom." He spoke. "I'm sorry."
Sheila looked at Jason. "You're still grounded. You will go to school and come straight home afterwards. No going to Dagoba Beach before or after school. No going over to friends' houses. No texting, calling, or whatever else friends."
"For how long?!"
"Until I think you have learned your lesson."
Jason felt a surge of negative emotions rush through him. "Fine." He said darkly.
"Let's go." Sheila said before looking at Himiko. She was wearing the outfit from yesterday. "Are you sure that's the only outfit you have?"
"No." Himiko said. "But my other outfit is at home with my crazy parents."
"Wait. Outfit? As in singular?"
"Yeah.
Sheila felt a rush of anger overcome her. "Let's go. We will get you seven outfits, socks, underwear, bras, shoes, pajamas, some hygiene products, and whatever else I'm forgetting."
They left the apartment and walked to the Subway.
Jason couldn't help but feel a twinge of hatred towards his mom for not understanding.
they were walking to the station when Jason felt fear, and rage in an alleyway. He stopped and looked down the alleyway.
"Jason." Sheila said. "Are you thinking about running down that alley?"
"No. I feel fear and rage coming from down there."
"What?" She asked walking towards him.
Jason looked down the alley and saw a girl running towards him.
The girl had been here for as long as she could remember. However, she was only five so this was all she had ever known.
The bad men hurt her. All the time.
If they weren't hurting her by breaking her, they were stepping in her feet, squeezing her arms and hands and arms, grabbing her neck or hair.
She didn't know what she could do, but she needed to get away.
she waited for the right time to run. She had to get away.
She wanted to get away from the pain. She had to get away from the pain.
She waited for the right moment and ran.
She didn't know how long or far she ran; she just knew she had to get away.
"ERI!" The bad man yelled after her.
Eri became very afraid and ran. She saw a dark alleyway and ran down it. She had to get away, she had to get help.
"ERI!" The bad man yelled again.
Eri felt the concrete and rocks tearing at her feet but she couldn't stop. She ran faster pushing her body farther than she knew was possible.
She broke out into the sunlight again only to run into something hard.
Whatever she ran into grabbed her, but not as hard as the other people. It was to keep her from falling rather than to hurt her.
She looked up into the blue eyes and her exhaustion overcame her.
"What happened?" Sheila asked. "Oh, my goodness." she said walking up to the girl that Jason was holding. She looked her over and saw scars. She felt the girl's pulse and felt that it was erratic, and she looked malnourished, and abused. "Who did this to her?"
A hand burst from the alleyway and touched Sheila.
Sheila felt a burst of pain and looked at Jason before she exploded.
Time slowed down as a hand erupted from the darkness of the alleyway and touched Sheila.
Jason watched as his mom looked at him, and her face changed from worried to pained, and finally she exploded.
Time sped back up, and Jason felt agony. "MOM!" He yelled.
"Give me the girl!" The man yelled.
Jason handed the girl to Himiko. before taking out his phone. He called Aizawa Sensei and turned on his location before handing it to Himiko too. "Take this and run." He spoke.
"What are you going to do?" Himiko asked worried.
"Make him pay." Jason snarled suiting up.
The man reached down and touched the blood smear that was Sheila, and she reformed. "I'll keep killing her until you give me the..."
Jason lunged at the man and kicked him away. "MOM, RUN!" Jason yelled pushing the man into the alleyway. "YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!"
"Spare me your petty threats." The man said touching Jason's shoulder.
The man's hand erupted in pain.
Jason's armor shattered, but reformed.
The man looked at his hand and saw the melted skin. "How dare you touch me!" He yelled in disgust.
"Shove it up your ass!" Jason yelled throwing a punch at the man.
The man lunged at Jason and touched him again only to be burnt again. "AHH! He yelled.
"I'm going to kill you now.
The man ran back down the alleyway and touched the walls as he ran destroying them and cutting off Jason's path to follow him.
Jason looked at the destruction caused by the man before walking back out the alley.
The last thing Sheila remembered before blacking out was terrible pain.
The next thing she knew she was awake and in pain, but she heard Jason yell for her to run.
Sheila was too disoriented to run. She didn't even think that she could crawl away. So, she just sat there trying to recover and remember what happened.
Aizawa Sensei
Aizawa was sitting at his desk in the teachers' lounge when his phone rang. The Caller I.D. was blank, but Aizawa answered it. "Who is this?"
He heard someone breathing heavily and running. "Got to keep her safe." The voice on the other end said. "Jason wants me to keep her safe."
"Hello." Aizawa said again. "Who is this? Are you in trouble?"
"I can't believe he did that to Jason's mom. What's going to happen now?"
Aizawa's phone beeped and he saw the notification saying a location. He tapped it and the map app opened showing the location of the person on the other end.
Aizawa ran outside and used his capture scarf to get to the top of the buildings before running after the person on the other end.
Anna and Elsa
Elsa woke up early that morning and was studying for school with her desk lamp on.
She had just finished the homework assigned over the long weekend and was going to get in the shower when she heard Anna wake up.
She looked over at Anna and saw the messy mane of hair that Anna had every morning.
"Elsa?" Anna yawned. "What are you doing up so early? We have the day off."
"I was finishing homework so I can enjoy the long weekend."
"Oh. Okay. I'm going back to sleep."
"Okay. Good night."
"Good night."
Elsa grabbed a change of clothes, her toiletries, and a towel before heading to the bathroom to shower.
Once Elsa was gone Anna ran to the desk, took out Elsa's homework and copied the answers to their assignments.
It's not that she didn't know the answers to their homework, but homework was soooooooo boring.
After she finished, she went back to bed.
Elsa came back ten minutes after Anna went back to bed and began braiding her hair.
After she was done, she grabbed a book and began reading.
After a few minutes of reading Anna stretched awake. "Hi Elsa."
"Hello Anna."
"Was there any hot water left?"
"There was a bit."
"Okay. I'm going to take a shower. Will you help me with my hair afterwards?"
"Of course. What do you want done with it?"
"I don't know."
"We can decide after you're done."
"Okay. Thank you."
"You're welcome."
After Anna left for the shower Elsa took out her homework and changed her answers to the correct ones. She had marked enough of the answers incorrect so that Anna would get a decent grade. She knew that Anna copied her homework, so she would make sure to mark a few of the answers incorrect so they weren't caught cheating.
Anna came back shortly after Elsa had changed her answers and got ready so Elsa could do her hair.
"So?" Elsa asked. "What are you thinking?"
"Twin braids." Anna said.
"So, your usual?"
"Yup."
"Okay." Elsa said as she started doing Anna's hair.
When they were finished, they went downstairs.
Their house wasn't as big as the castle back in Arendelle, but it was comfortable. Their parents were the CEO's of a business, but only went in once a week allowing them to spend time with Anna and Elsa.
Today they had decided to go in leaving Anna and Elsa to tend to themselves.
"Are you ready Anna?" Elsa asked when they got to the sunroom.
"Yeah!" Anna yelled excitedly. No matter how old she got she was always happy when her sister made it snow.
Elsa stomped her foot down and snowbanks covered the sunroom, and snow fell from the ceiling.
"YAY!" Anna yelled diving into a snowbank.
Elsa used her ice to make a snowball and threw it at Anna.
Anna ducked into the snowbank and came out throwing water at Elsa.
"ANNA!" Elsa laughed. "NO FAIR. I ALREADY TOOK A SHOWER!"
"All's fair in love and sibling rivalry!" Anna yelled back.
The sisters played in the sunroom until Anna's stomach growled.
Elsa's growled shortly after Anna's.
"Breakfast?" Anna shrugged.
"We have to clean up the mess first."
Anna opened the back door and commanded the water outside while Elsa made the snow disappear.
The sisters went to the kitchen and made breakfast.
Elsa made oatmeal and toast while Anna grabbed yogurt and orange juice from the fridge.
They sat down to the table and ate in companionable silence.
When they were finished, they washed the dishes and put them away before going to the front room to watch T.V.
They turned on the T.V. and saw a documentary about Joan of Arc playing.
"Can we watch it?" Anna asked excitedly.
"Sure." Elsa said.
They were watching the Documentary when their phones beeped.
They looked at them and saw that it was the map app. They opened the app and saw...
Jason Todd.
Moving across the screen.
"Hey." Anna said. "You don't think that was an accident, do you?"
"No." Elsa said worried. "Jason wouldn't post his location without a good reason. He might be hurt."
"Let's go." Anna said.
The sisters got up and ran out of the house following their friend's location.
Johnny.
Johnny had gone to bed early the previous night hoping to spend the entire day with his dad at the garage. He was a pretty good mechanic if he said so himself, but Zarathos left a lot to be desired. So today he was going to ask his dad to teach him how to do mechanics while using his Quirk.
He went to the basement where their home gym was and began working out. He and Jason were always competing for second place in their group, what with Rogue being able to bench press a train, and all. Granted Izuku was in third place, but he was quickly catching up. Hell, he'd been training with Jason since he was five, and the ten months of hell had made him even stronger. He'd been able to bring out twenty percent of One for All at the USJ due to the close to eleven years of physical training, and he would probably be able to use fifty percent by the end of the year. Then there was the fact that he'd gained a fire breathing Quirk which belonged to his dad. Midoriya might even be able to take the number one spot in their group if he kept growing at that pace.
He was brought out of his musings by his mom calling down to him.
"What?" He asked. "I zoned out for a second."
"I said it's breakfast."
"Coming." He said wiping off the sweat from his workout.
He went up and ate breakfast with his parents.
"Hey kiddo." His dad said. "Want to come to the shop with me?"
"Yeah. I was wondering if you could help me learn how to be a mechanic while using my Quirk."
"Sir, but doesn't your knowledge transfer over to your Quirk?"
"No. It's like I'm a different person when I change."
"I see. Well then. I don't see why not."
"Thanks."
Johnny finished his breakfast and showered before meeting his dad in the garage.
"How about taking the bikes?" His dad asked.
Johnny smiled. "Let's go."
Father and son drove to the mechanic shop.
When they got to the shop, they went in.
Barton was teaching Johnny, with the Rider's head, how basic mechanics work. when Johnny's phone chimed.
"Go ahead." Barton said.
Johnny looked at his phone and saw that it was the map app. He opened the app and saw...
Jason Todd.
Moving across the screen.
Johnny reverted back to himself. "I have to go."
"What's wrong?"
"Jason is in trouble."
"Oh. Get going then."
Johnny hopped on his bike and drove off after Jason.
Izuku
Izuku had exercised before going to bed and woke up early so he could work out.
When he woke up, he got dressed in a mint green track suit, and went for a jog.
He jogged to Dagoba beach and began doing his workout. He had to do Push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and lunges before he jogged back home and finished his workout.
He did three sets of ten reps for each exercise.
When he was done at Dagoba he jogged home and began doing his at home workout. He did triceps dips, squats, curls, and Diamond push-ups.
He also did three sets of ten reps for each exercise.
Once he was done with his workout, he took a shower and went to the kitchen where Inko was finishing cooking breakfast.
"Sit down Izuku. Breakfast is almost ready."
"Okay mom." Izuku said sitting down.
Inko put a Bowl of rice and plate with fresh fruit and vegetables in front of Izuku.
"How did your workout go?"
"It was great. If I keep working at it, I think I'll be on Jason and Johnny's level by the time we graduate."
Inko looked at Izuku feeling sad. If only he could see what her and the others saw.
After breakfast Izuku sat in front of the T.V. watching the news for any new Heroes while using grip strengtheners to work out his forearms.
He had just finished his final set when his phone chirped.
Izuku looked at his phone and saw that it was the map app. He opened the app and saw...
Jason Todd.
Moving across the screen.
"Mom!" He yelled. "I need to go!"
"What? Where are you going?"
"Jason's in trouble." Izuku said putting his shoes on.
"Shouldn't you call someone else?"
"I don't know, but I have to go."
"Be careful then."
"I will." Izuku said walking out the door.
Once he was outside, he powered One for All into his legs and took off running.
'I can only run at fifteen percent without hurting myself. I'm coming Jason!'
Rogue
Rogue had decided that she would take the day off to sleep in.
She slept in until 10:00, and when she got up, she walked into the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee.
"Sleep good?" Raven asked.
"Mm-hmm." Rogue mumbled.
"Good." I have a coupon for us to go to the spa today. Go get showered and dressed, and we will go."
"Can't you look like anyone?"
"That's not the point." Raven said indignantly. "I want to spend some time with my daughter."
"Okay." Rogue said. She would spend time with her mom.
She took a shower, got dressed, and was just about to walk out the door when her phone chimed.
She looked at her phone and saw that it was the map app. She opened the app and saw...
Jason Todd.
Moving across the screen.
"I'm sorry mama, but Jason needs help."
"What? How do you know that?"
"He just sent out his location without a text. That means he's in trouble."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah mama. Jason doesn't just send us his location without a text, and it's moving. So, either his Phone was stolen, and he remotely activated it to find the thief, of he's in trouble and can't explain."
"How do you know that?"
"I've used my Quirk on all my friend's multiple times. I know how they think."
"Okay. Go help your friend."
"I'm sorry mama. We can go to the spa tomorrow."
Raven hugged Rogue before she left.
'Well. I guess I could always scare the postman or something.' Raven said to herself.
Once Rogue was out of the apartment she jumped over the side and flew off towards Jason.
Himiko.
When Jason handed the girl to her, Himiko just ran. She didn't know what else she could do.
She thought back to what had happened.
That man killed Sheila! He killed her!
Himiko didn't really like Sheila, but she didn't want her dead!
She wasn't crying. She wouldn't cry.
She used her Quirk to Change into Jason growing taller. Her legs lengthened, and her arms grew longer. Her body broadened and filled with muscle.
She was able to hold the girl better, and her stride lengthened.
The last thing she noticed was that she was covered in black and red armor. 'What is this?' She wondered.
She ran faster, but heard an engine coming up behind her.
"Jason!" A blond-haired boy yelled. "Jason! What's wrong?"
Himiko looked at the boy not sure if she could trust him.
"Jason!" A girl said dropping from the sky in front of him.
Himiko backtracked.
"Jason what's wrong? Wait. Who is that girl?"
"JASON!" A green haired boy yelled coming up beside her. "What's wrong?"
Himiko turned in a circle. 'Too many people.'
"Todd!" A man said jumping down from a building. "Why did you call me, and who was the girl you were talking about? What happened to your mom? Who's that in your arms?"
"WHAT?" Everyone yelled at once. "What happened to your mom?"
"We're here!" A girl with auburn hair said pulling a girl with long white, blonde hair along with her.
"Hold on." Rogue said. "Give him some breathing room."
Everyone backed up.
"Go on Jason."
Himiko figured that they were Jason's friends, and she could trust them if he did.
She took a deep breath. "My mom and I were walking when this girl ran out of an alleyway. My mom and I were looking at her when a hand reached out of the alley and touched my mom. She exploded."
"WHAT!" The group shouted.
"I grabbed the girl and ran."
Rogue touched Jason to try and comfort him when they both pulled away from each other.
"What's wrong?" Anna asked.
"Keep calm." Rogue said. "But this isn't Jason."
"What?" Everyone asked.
Aizawa used his Quirk to nullify the person's Quirk only for a mass of grey sludge to fall off the person's body revealing a girl with blond hair.
Izuku went bright red as they realized she wasn't wearing anything under the sludge.
"Oh gosh!" Johnny said taking his jacket off and draping it over the girl's shoulders.
Everyone else averted their eye's or looked at her from the neck up.
"Want to tell us what's really going on?" Rogue said.
Himiko was beginning to feel very anxious. Her disguise was gone, she was surrounded by people she didn't know, and because she was carrying the girl, she couldn't defend herself.
She began hyperventilating.
Everyone backed away giving her room.
A phone rang from the sludge.
Rogue picked the phone up. "This is Jason's. How did you get it?"
The phone rang again, and Rogue put it on speaker. "Hello?" She spoke.
"Good." Jason said over the speaker. "You guy's found Himiko. I need you guys to keep her, and the girl she's carrying safe. I can't explain right now because I'm at the hospital with my mom. Keep them safe, and I'll explain when I can. Whatever you do, keep Himiko calm. She gets anxious really easily."
"Okay." Rogue said. "But..."
"I have to go. I promise that I'll explain everything later."
"Okay. bye."
Jason hung up the phone.
Everyone looked at the phone.
"Let's get back to UA." Aizawa said. "Recovery girl can look over Himiko and the girl."
"Why should I go with you!" Himiko snapped reaching awkwardly for her knife in the sludge.
"Jason told us to take care of you." Anna said. "We can help you at UA."
"I..." Himiko began before the events of the day, and the lack of sleep started taking its toll.
"Catch her!" Someone yelled
Himiko felt hands grab her, but she didn't have the strength to fight them off, and lost consciousness.
When Jason walked out of the alley and looked at his mom. "Mom!" He yelled kneeling down next to her. "Are you okay?"
"I don't know." Sheila whimpered. "I hurt all over."
"We need to get you to hospital."
"Yeah." Sheila agreed. She knew that she was in shock and was handling it as best as she could.
Jason knew that he needed to pick his mom up, but he also wanted to be ready in case that guy came back.
"HEY!" A female voice yelled. "Get away from her!"
Jason looked up in time to see a foot coming directly at his face.
Jason was sent flying by the kick and rolled to his feet.
"Stay away from her. Villain!" The voice yelled.
Jason looked up to see rabbit feet, toned legs, a hero costume with a rabbit tail sticking out of it, toned arms, a head of white hair, and a pair of white rabbit ears.
"Rabbit Hero: Miriko." Jason said. "I am not a villain. My name is Jason Haywood. That is my mother. Sheila Haywood. I attend UA High. My mother and I were attacked by a villain. I need to get her to the hospital."
"You look like a villain dressed like that." Miriko said.
"Well, I'm not."
"Show me your student I.D.."
Jason took his student I.D. and tossed it to Miriko.
Miriko looked Jason's Student I.D. over. "Show me your face."
Jason took his helmet off.
Miriko looked from the I.D. to Jason, back to the I.D. "Okay. You're who you say you are."
"Thanks." Jason said putting his helmet back on. "Can I take my mom to a hospital now?"
"Yeah. Do you want some help?"
"Can you get my mom to the hospital? I want to make sure that the guy who hurt her doesn't follow us."
"Don't you want to stay with your mom?"
"I know what he looks like, and my Quirk burns his hands."
"Okay. I'll help you." Miriko said picking Sheila up carefully.
Jason walked behind Miriko keeping his senses open for negative emotions.
They got on the subway and took off to the hospital.
When they got to the hospital Miriko put Sheila on a gurney. "This woman needs help." She spoke.
"What happened?" A nurse asked before looking at Sheila. "Dr. Haywood! What happened."
"A villain attacked us." Jason said. "He touched her once and she exploded, then he touched her again and she was back. I can't explain it."
"Who are you?"
Jason took his helmet off.
"Jason!" The nurse said shocked. "Don't worry. We'll do everything we can for her."
"Thank you."
"If you want to go sit in the waiting area, we'll come get you later."
Jason walked to the waiting area and sat down.
He sat down and put his head in his hands.
He was only sitting for a second when Miriko sat down next to him. "Do you need anything?"
"Yes. No. I don't know. I need- I need to make a call." He said creating a phone and walking to the hallway.
He put his number into the keypad and pressed call.
The phone rang three times before someone answered.
It was Rogue. "Hello?" She spoke.
"Good." Jason said relieved.
"Okay. bye."
Jason hung up and rubbed his eye's. He was starting to feel tired.
He went back to the waiting room and saw Miriko was gone.
He sat in his chair and stretched. He closed his eyes and fell into unconsciousness.
AN: Introducing Eri and Himiko early. After I watched the Eri arc I knew that I would have Eri rescued earlier. As for Himiko I'm sorry if she's not like the canon Himiko and too OOC. That wasn't my intention, but after I decided to introduce her early that she would be neglected by her parents who were disgusted by her Quirk, but didn't want to look like bad parents, and loosely based them off of the Dursley's. She never really got out of her room except to go to the Quirk suppressors, and counselors to try and stop her from using her Quirk. She needs blood to use her Quirk, but also blood offers her nutrients that she needs to stay alive, and after one too many incidents her parents locked her away. She broke out and found Jason leading to her early entrance. Don't worry. She will still have a thing for Midoriya, but that will take place within the next few chapters. I felt bad for having Jason lie to his mom about stuff, but you will see in the next chapter that he has been lying a lot. A kid who has memories of another life where he had everything he might need at his disposal because his mentor is a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist by day and a bad ass, ninja, detective, vigilante at night, and suddenly he is a lot more restricted to what he can and can't do except when his mother is at work. He's going to bend the rules a little bit. Efreeti, his Quirk, is actually a reimagined creature from D . They could create Weapons out of fire, and I thought it fit. Sorry if this chapter seems a little out of sorts in some places, but there were a few places that I got stuck on and just pushed through. Enjoy.
