"Believe me, it's a fact that Monomi's a villain. I'll let you all in on a couple of secrets of hers. Monomi...went out of her way to erase your memories! And Hajime- I mean Mikan she knew how to fix you but she decided against it!" Monokuma said with a vindictive tone
"Say what!?...wait, huh?" Monomi cried out confused
"I'll get back to you Mikan, but you guys don't even remember how you got to this island, am I right? Well, that's because Monomi stole your memories!"
"Wh-What are you saying all of a sudden!?" Monomi asked confused
"But wait, there's more! She didn't just steal your boring memories, like how you guys got to this island. She completely took away your memories of the years you spent at Hope's Peak Academy and for you Hajime-Ahem! Mikan, she also erased the reason for your situation! What a Shocker!" Monokuma said with a shocking serious voice
"Ha-Wa-Wa!" Monomi cried out as she was called out
"Phew...I feel great now that I've shared that with you. Seriously, memory loss plots are so old hat nowadays only a total hack would wait until the end of the story to reveal a cliched twist like that!" Monokuma continued
"P-Please stop!" Monomi begged
"Phuhu… Wasn't that a huge surprise? In truth, you guys aren't freshman students at all. You guys just thought you were because you've lost all of your school memories! Quick, someone get a plagiarist because I feel like I've heard this story before" Monokuma continued to speak as if he was trying to talk to someone besides us
"S-Seriously, this is bad in so many ways!" Monomi continued to complain, Monokuma irritated by her did a swift backhand while yelling
"I'm through dealing with you!"

Everyone was left speechless I was trying to… recover what was said it.. was impossible right? Well...no if this body-swapping was possible then… memories being deleted was definitely possible but was it true that Monomi knew and just deiced not to fix me? But she seemed surprised when she saw me… was that just an act?
"Wh-What did he mean?" I could hear Nagito mutter next to me
"How was it? Was it funny? Or was the comedy too high-brow for you?" Monokuma asked as he came down the stage his blue suit now gone

Everyone seemed to be debating it in their mind as they tried to think about it some of them seemed to accept those were also the people who accepted my situation most likely thinking along the same lines that I did then there those who denied trying to argue against Monokuma
"It's not a lie because consider this the moment you arrived at Hope's Peak Academy, you all experienced a strange dizziness," Monokuma said with a knowing look
"That was a cutoff point your memories beyond that point have been completely removed" he continued to give proof to the deniers and as he spoke I once again felt it the despair and the wonderful feeling that came with
"I know some of you are still denying it, don't worry I am a generous guy! I can give you back your memories!" Monokuma said with what felt like a bigger smile than usual then he turned to look just at me and with a perfectly serious voice
"And Hajmie I can let you have your body back and I'll even tell you your talent"
Monomi released a high pitch scream as she heard Monokuma's words
"What?" I whisper as I look at the black and white bear the wonderful feeling of despair now gone as I stared
"All you have to do is kill each other, that's all if you want your memories back just kill someone and get away with it! You guys wanna know, right You want your school memories returned to you, right? And Hajime you want your body back and wanna know talent so truly I am offering such a good deal. You guys better start killing then." Monokuma stated with a boisterous tone
When he finished once again the wonderful feeling of despair came flushing back more powerful then before as it toppled my hope it was hard...to...think...with...this...wonderful..bliss
"Hey...Stop runnin' your mouth" I could hear Akane speak but it was hard to focus on things
"My, my… are you jealous that I was giving such a good deal for Haj-Mik- ah screw it I already ruined that gag with this motive let me restart, Ahem, so are you jealous that I gave such a good deal for Hajime? You shouldn't I just gave out everything I could and Hajime just happened to have much more than you, I am sorry, I just wanted a killing to happen so, best to throw the best motive I have" I could hear Monokuma speak and each word he spoke I could feel a small wave of despair rushing over me it felt so good!
"Hah...Hah" I let out hard hot breaths
"S-Stop this at once…! Do you really think your delusional rambling will convince us to commit murder?" Byakuya said
"Are serious? Ham-Hands? Look the pig slut she making a puddle at just the thought!" I Hiyoko...pointed at me
'I...am...pig..slut?' I thought slowly as more pleasure crashed against me

"Well said Hiyoko I was about to bring that up you may not believe me but you don't believe each other more especially since there is a traitor among you" Monokuma announced
But I couldn't care less what he was saying as I was getting so close so...close
"There should only be 15 of you guys yet there were 16 originally if you count Mikan so the counts off. which means there is a traitor among you and I am not even sure which one of you guys are the traitor just kidding"
"Hah...hah...hah….hah"
I could feel many stares at me at this point most likely as they could hear me but it was hard to contain this wonderful feeling
"How awful being a traitor, pretending to be everyone's ally and tricking you guys it makes sense for someone like that to get killed, right? C'mon, make the preemptive! It's first come. first, serve and winner takes all! If you want to survive, you gotta find that person before they find you AHAHAHAAH!" Monokuma laughed as he disappeared and as soon as he did
A repeat of the first day once again happened and I fell unconscious
As soon as Monokuma disappeared I could see Hajime fall unconscious as he released a loud moan it disgusted me to see such a shining pillar of hope fall like that but I knew that was just the reason why he was a shining hope he would not allow that to make him fall to despair I know that he will overcome it and shine even brighter
"I-I think i-it's pretty obvious who t-the traitor is?" The Ultimate Mechanic spoke his hope didn't shine that bright but compared to Hajime everyone's hopes were so dull none of them shone as bright as his it was like comparing The Sun to a flashlight they were so dull but still, I had to help them shine even brighter, could I possibly get them to shine as bright as his? And.. maybe I could make Hajime shine even brighter…
"Before you say it, no we can't just assume Hajime is the traitor, we can't even assume that a traitor exists" The Ultimate Affulent progeny spoke he seemed a perfect stepping stone for the symbols of hope to rise brighter but I should wait a bit…
"I am in the middle I feel like that broad is fucking crazy but how that damn bear speaks it seems like she says the truth but maybe that bear is just playing along trying to convenience the crazy chick to murder" The Ultimate Yakuza spoke
"I think the pig slut is the traitor and her and that stupid bear are in cahoots for some strange fetish!" The Ultimate Traditional Dancer spoke she was constantly belittling Hajime which seemed to make his body respond she could help make his hope shine brighter
"This simply doesn't exist this is a dream" I could hear The Ultimate Cook speak his hope also seemed to be exploitable but once again I shall sit and wait
After a while, the conversation lead to a stalemate and everyone dispersed putting up my fake smile I turned towards Chiaki the Ultimate Gamer
"Do you need help carrying Hajime back to his room again?" It felt so good talking to an Ultimate even if I was fake a personality
"No thanks Nagito I can do this, you should head to bed," She said with a soft smile it sent shivers down my spine i
"Alright see you tomorrow," I say with a small wave before heading to my cottage
I let out a sigh as I entered I felt so tired but there was so much left to do, I put my hand into my coat pocket and bring out the small pocket knife that I had found earlier. How foolish I was for thinking an Ultimate would fall to despair so easily and it is even more foolish in hindsight for the one whom I thought already fell to despair would be the brightest out of everyone to think I was planning on killing him
I shook my head
"Now where's that pen…Ah! There" and with that, I start my plan to raise everyone's hope.
