Nekomaru: After that, a couple of minutes passed and I had to leave to take a shit!

Byakuya: anyway after that, the blackout happened, it was chaos we weren't for sure what happened
Hiyoko: So that's when Hajime took advantage and killed off that idiot with a quick stab to the back!

"From what I observed during the autopsy the murder weapon was a 12-inch pipe wrench," I answer
"Are we positive that's what killed young master?" Peko said softly
"Y-Yes I am sure th-the skull fractures match and the fact that Ka-Kazuichi's toolbox was missing from Byakuya's box makes it very s-strange," I say
"Kazuichi's toolbox?...Kazuichi?...did you do this?" Peko asked her voice seemed to drop the temperature to freezing as she stared daggers at the young mechanic
"No! So what if it was missing!" Kazuichi yelled
"You're a buffoon, if you don't see it, eclectic mage!" Gundam declared with a scoff
"Whadda mean?" Akane asked with a raised eyebrow
"Power goes out? Then a person joins The Aether soon after via a blunt weapon then a toolbox goes missing, the half-shark is becoming an obvious corporate" Gundam said with a scoff
"But isn't a bit too obvious like a red herring in mystery movies?" Sonia asked
"Y-Yeah that's gotta be it somebody is framing me! Thanks miss Sonia" Kazuichi yelled out
"Or maybe it's like the creepy old butler that is so obvious that they were the culprit that they try to make you think it's a red herring" Sonia continued
"Did miss Sonia call me a creepy old butler?" Kazuichi asked softly as he scratched his cheek
"So if we briefly believe that Kazuichi is being framed then who else would be the murderer?" Byakuya asked

"...no, I made sure that it was in a safe and hidden location….and I was watching it like I would an NPC in an escort mission," Chiaki said after a few seconds of thinking
"Oh... " Kazuichi said his face fell as his "brilliant" idea failed
"So Ibuki has to ask, Then what killed Lil'gangster!" Ibuki yelled out, but as soon as she yelled that Peko's death glare transferred from Kazuichi to Ibuki
"Woah, what's with that scary gaze you're making me shake in my boots!" Ibuki yelled out but Peko's gaze stayed put before she shook her head
"Please don't make jokes about the dead" she stated quietly
"... I-I am sorry," Ibuki said with a downcast face

"Obviously, but how? We have next to nothing to knock people off, we know they had to be in the dining hall but we don't know how they could have reached Fuhuhiko in the dark without getting something that produces light" Byakuya said as with a scratch of his triple chin
"Maybe they didn't use a light," Akane said scratching at the inside of her ear

"They only ones that were close enough to hit Fuyuhiko in the dark were me, Byakuya, Ibuki, Peko, Kazuichi, and if we want to push it Nagito," I say
"How do you remember is your curse more than what I, The Supreme Overlord of Ice though!?" Gundam yelled out
"Indeed how do you know?" Sonia joined in
"M-Mahiru took pictures and plotted everyone's location," I say while showing the picture
"Yeah," Mahiru said agreeing
"So that clears off some more people but doesn't hel-" before Byakuya could finish Hiyoko cut in

"..." it was silent but it seemed that Byakuya was thinking heavily about something
"I am starting to worry that we won't be able to find the killer!" Ibuki yelled
"It's all right. You don't have to worry. Because...they're just a petty killer, right? They can't defeat symbols of hope like you guys!" Nagito stated his voice seemed...a bit unhinged
"Petty killer?" Peko asked as they stared daggers at Nagito but he seemed unfazed as he continued his...crazed rantings
"There's no way everybody will lose now. This little incident will just be a stepping stone for you all. In the end, Hope always wins! That's what I believe"
"Little incident?" Peko said her voice showing more emotion than before
"Y-Your starting to sound as crazy as pig shit!" Hiyoko yelled out
"N-N-Nagito what's happening? You've been sa-saying there is no killer and now?" I voice my opinion
"Oh, is that so? Well, let's just put that minor detail aside for now...For now, we don't know we don't know how the blackout happened nor who did it, we know the murderer had to be in the dining hall but how would they start the blackout?" Nagito explained
"No one can be in two places at once, right? They couldn't be in the dining room and the breaker room so maybe there is no killer?"
"You're changing it again?" I ask the seemingly more and more madden boy
"So with this, I had a new idea, maybe instead of surviving by doubting others, isn't it better to get killed for believing in others?" he asked
"Nagito" Peko stated she was about to raise her hand undoubtedly to grab her sword but remembered she didn't have it
"N-Nagito! What is wrong with you?" I ask
"Haha… You guys only think there's something wrong with me because there's something wrong with you. Suspecting each other like this...There's no way that's healthy behavior...Let's stop this already! We don't have to find out who the killer is! I can't stand this anymore! I don't want to do this to my-" Before Nagito could finish his tirade it was cut off
"It's you" Byakuya stated emotionlessly as he stared into Nagito's grey eyes
INTERMISSION
A/N(2): MY GOD this took longer than I ever thought it would especially since it's not to terribly big word wise only 2k (Which is double the size of my normal chapters) but sweet Jesus was this a learning experice, so here's a little insight into something I learned while making this chapter don't make the killing then the evidence then the trial in the thinking faze as you have to worm yourself around the already established evidence instead of making the trial how you want it to go and making the murder around that so hopefully chapter's two trial will take less time to write now that I have learned that also I should probably have a note at the end of the investigation chapter which details all the evidence so I don't have to go though the chapters trying to find what I said was evidence and not *sigh* in total this has been hell I understand why people like to make non-despair AU's, I can't wait to just get back to visual novel shit
