Remembering Yesterday Chapter 10, a glee fanfic

A/N: Hey everyone sorry for the long wait, I had back to back assignments due and literally had no time for anything. Anyways here's the next chapter and it's a time jump one month ahead. Chapter # 10

~One Month Later~

~Flashback~

~Noah's P.O.V~

I arrive around 7am the next morning and I unlocked the door, moved my stuff into my room and went to sleep for bit. I woke up to yelling, so I got out of my bed and found Rachel on the phone, I think that it's Santana, but I could be wrong. So, I wait for her to get off the phone and ask her,

"Hey Rach, what's going on?" Her eyes widen a bit and a huge smile appears on her face as she hugs me tight and I hug her back. I really have missed my little sis.

"When did you get in?" She asks as she lets me go.

"About an hour ago, who was that on the phone?"

"Oh I'm so sorry, did I wake you up?" I nod my head and she continues.

"Finn called me and asked me to breakfast and declined his offer, I told him I had to talk to Santana and then I wanted to catch up with you and he got all mad, saying that I was his girlfriend and I hardly made any time for him anymore." What in the fuck? I'm confused, because he already knew that she's really not his girlfriend and making her feel guilty about not spending time with him is really fucked up. Man I can't wait to see Finn, all I can say is it won't be pretty.

"Well he's an ass Rach, clearly said. Now on to that call with Santana."

"Your right okay."

~Rachel's P.O.V~

So, it's time for me to call Santana. I took a deep breath in and dialed her number…She answers after the fifth ring.

"Hello?"

"Why are you so out of breath?"

"I had to run to the phone, I left it in our … I mean my bedroom."

"Santana I wanted to talk about the divorce papers."

"Right, yeah okay I have them and I've already signed them, it broke my heart to sign them, but I did. All I want is for you to be happy, even if it's not with me."

"Santana do you have the papers in your hand right now?"

"Yeah, I was going to mail them to you, you should get them in a few days."

"Tear it up."

"What?"

"Tear up the papers, I've made a huge mistake by even asking for those. I'll admit that I let Finn get into my head, but I'm thinking clearly now and I want to apologize for all the pain that I've caused you. I'm still a little fuzzy about things between us, but divorcing you won't help me remember faster."

"Who told you say that?" I could hear the bitterness in her voice.

"I guess I deserve that, but no told me say anything, after talking to Noah last night, which by the way he's here. He's going to help me remember things, and get my mind clear."

"Oh okay cool, you guys have always been close, so that would make sense."

"Santana, I'm trying and I know I have a ways to go, but please be patient with me, I promise not to call Finn my boyfriend anymore and promise to stop shutting you out."

"How do I know you're about this? It could how you feel right now and tomorrow you could be mad at me and want a divorce again."

"Santana, I can't promise you that I won't be mad at you, because I know I will. But I can promise you that divorce is the furthest thing from my mind. Like I said it was a mistake to ask for it and I'm so very sorry for hurting you the way I did because of it."

"Okay, please don't bring it back up though." I hear her rip the paper a couple times.

"Was that the divorce papers?"

"Yes."

"Thank you."

"No, thank you for not divorcing me. I've already lost you as my wife, I couldn't bear to lose you as my wife for good."

"How are my babies?"

"They miss you. Yeah you talk to them every day, but they miss seeing you."

"I miss seeing them as well. When was the last time you were here?"

"I can't remember, but I can say that I know I said I would bring them to see you, but honestly I can't bring myself to go to Lima and see you with Finn. I might mess him up and I don't want to mess up the trip, because you sitting in the hospital waiting for Finn to wake up. It's not fair on the kids either. So, for now I'll just keep them here and if you want, you can come home and see them."

"I understand."

"I miss you Rachel."

"I miss you too Santana, and I know it's hard for you right now, but I will remember and once I do I'll be back in your arms."

"Easier said than done. My arms are getting quite cold without you in them."

"It won't be forever, I promise."

"I love you Rachel, just come back to me okay."

"I'm trying, I know I may not have been trying my hardest, but with Noah here I feel like I can do it."

"Okay, take all the time you need, but I have to get ready for work. Can we talk later?"

"Yeah, so the kids are staying with Brittany?"

"Yeah, there's no school for them today."

"Okay, I'll let you go then."

"Bye."

"Bye." With that said I hung up the phone and looked at Noah and said,

"I'm so glad I did that. Thanks for being there for me."

"Hey, I told you that we're going to do this together. Now let's get to refreshing those memories of yours." I smile as we walk into the kitchen and eat breakfast and talk.

~End of Flashback~

~Rachel's P.O.V~

It's been a month now and my memories of everything but Santana are completely back, but it's just a matter of time though. I've been talking to her and the kids every day. I even went to see them a couple of weeks ago and it felt good to do so. Quinn and Brittany's wedding is in 4 days. They are having a small wedding in their back yard, while the reception will be at the grand ballroom. Brittany asked me to be her maid of honor and Santana will be Quinn's maid of honor. So, Finn asked me of out to dinner, he said that he had something to tell me. But honestly I think that I should break up with him. This relationship isn't going anywhere. He's mad because I won't have sex with him. I keep telling him that I'm not ready, but he doesn't seem to understand that. So, I've been in room for the better half of an hour trying to find something to wear and ugh I have nothing to wear. It's cool though maybe I'll just wear something simple, yet hot. I got it, I know what I'm going to wear. I say to myself as I walk to the closet and get ready for my date.

~Noah's P.O.V~

Okay, so things are going really well with Rachel and her regaining her memories. When it comes to Santana she still draws a blank. It gets quite frustrating, but I know it takes time, but damn it's been a month and nothing has happen. In fact she's going on a date with Finn tonight. He doesn't like me anymore, because the first time I saw him was the 3rd night I was at Rachel's house and I beat the holy fuck out of him and broke my head in the process. I hit him so many times that my knuckles broke. It's getting better though, what can I do to get her to remember things with Santana. I got it! I say to myself as I pull out my phone and call Santana.

"Hello?"

"What's up San?"

"Just helping Brittany with some last minute details for the wedding."

"Oh cool, I have a question for you."

"Okay what is it, I'm kinda busy."

"Okay, I'll make this quick then, what is yours and Rachel's song?"

"Why?"

"Rachel's going on a date with Finn tonight. I figured I would find out where they would be and then have your song playing and maybe that would help. I don't know San, I'm all out idea's if this doesn't work."

"Okay well I am too, so the song is Amazed by Lonestar. I hope it helps, but I really have to go okay, good luck."

"Thanks and talk to you soon."

"Okay bye."

"Bye." I hang up and spent the last 15 minutes trying to find out which restaurant they might be going to and when I found it, I hurried up and went down there hoping they wasn't there yet and fortunately for me they wasn't so, I was able to pay the manger some side cash to play song with in the first 15 minutes of them being there. I also had him to play more songs before that one, so it wouldn't make it to oblivious. The manager was real cool about helping me after I explained why I was doing what I was doing. I quickly left and had to hid behind a car when I saw Finn and Rachel walk up to the restaurant. Lucky for me they didn't see me or at least I hope they didn't. I ran down the street and got in my car that was parked around the corner and I went home and waited.

~Rachel's P.O.V~

Did I just see Noah? No, he was at home sleep when I left. We walk in and of course it's a place that barely has a vegan menu. Or as Santana would say rabbit food. I smile at the thought, because I getting there. Our waiter shows us to our seats and Finn orders some wine, we sat and talk for a while until our wine came and when it did we took a sip and I said,

"So, Finn what was so important that we had to come to this really nice restaurant?"

"I wanted to tell something." Please don't propose.

"Okay what is it? By the way you do remember that I'm vegan right?"

"Damnit I forgot, I'm sorry." Of course you forgot, something that Santana never would have.

"It's okay, I'll eat a salad." It's really not okay, you dumbass.

"Okay great, so as I was saying I has something I wanna tell you." Did he seriously go 'okay great?'

"I'm waiting." I say with a fake smile.

"I'll just say then…Rachel I love you always…" His phone rings and he left the table to answer it.

~Flashback~

"Rachel baby I love more than anything else in this world. I know that we're young and everything, but you're the one for me I know it."

"Santana you are the love of my life and you are definitely my one and only. In fact I want to tell you something."

"Okay, baby what is it?"

"I'm ready."

"For what."

"You to make love to me."

"Are you serious, because I have no problem waiting until were 25 if that's what you want or longer."

"I'm ready right now."

"Okay."

"Rachel I love you always…"

"And forever."

"I like that we'll say that from now on okay."

"Okay."

~End of Flashback~

I sat there at the table and smiled and said,

"And forever." Then all of sudden I hear a song that seems familiar.

You make life worth living, because when I'm in your arms I feel like I'm protected by angel sent from heaven and when I'm away from you for more than an hour, I can't stop thinking about you. It's like I'm only existing when I can hold you in my arms again. You are my dream come true, you're everything I could ever want or need. I swear if I had to dream up the absolute perfect woman for me, she wouldn't even come close to you. You are an angel to me and you will always be. What I saying is I want to be your Romeo, because you're my Juliet. Rachel Barbara Berry will you marry me?"

"Rachel, do you take Santana Lopez to be your lawfully wedded wife to handle and hold, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, do you promise to be faithful, loving and caring until death do you part?"

"I do."

"By the power in vested in me by the great state of New York, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss your bride."

"Honored guest, I am pleased to introduce you to the newly married Santana and Rachel Berry- Lopez."

"Santana is my wife…I remember!" All my happiness switched to anger the moment Finn came walking back into the room.

"Sorry babe, that's was just business."

"How dare you, just sit there with that smug look on your face after what you did to me."

"Baby what are you talking about?" Baby? Oh I have had enough. I slapped him so hard my hand was still stinging.

"Rachel what the hell was that for?"

"I know everything you pathetic piece of shit, you tried to ruin my marriage. You mutilated and used me for your own sick and twisted amusement. I can't believe I also divorced my wife for your sorry ass."

"Who told you that Puck, Quinn or Santana? They are just lying. They want to keep us apart." I shook my head, stood up and Finn grabbed my arm and I swung with my right hand punched him in the nose with all my might.

"I remember everything you jackass." With that said I walked out of the restaurant and took a taxi home, ran upstairs to Noah's room, burst through his door to find him on his laptop. I closed it and he said,

"Sis that was work, now I have to do the document all over again."

"Noah … I'm in love."

"Finn does not love you okay, he's just using you. Why can't you see that?"

"It's not Finn."

"Whoa we're brother and sister remember that's just gross."

"Eww Noah not you."

"Then who?"

"My wife."

"Well obliviously you're in love with your wif…Wait a minute did you just say wife?"

"Yes."

"You remember everything?"

"Everything." Then he started screaming as he picked me up, spinning me around and my dad and Quinn comes running in seeing Noah in tears.

"What happened?" Quinn and my dad asked in union.

"Tell them Rachel."

"I'm in love with my wife."

"OH MY GOD YOU REMEMBER!" Quinn screamed picked me up hugging me tight.

"You remember everything?" My dad asked and I nodded my head.

"We have to call Santana." Quinn said pulling out her phone.

"No, I want to surprise her at your wedding."

"How are you going to do that?"

"When your song Back at One by Brian McKnight is playing, I'm going to ask her if she would like to dance and if she says why, then I am going to say so now I need a reason to dance with my wife."

"That sounds about right. You have 4 days, how are you going to stay away from her for 4 whole days?"

"I am a famous Broadway actress. I can do this trust me."

"Yep she's back…The diva has landed." Quinn says laughing and I laughed as well. She soon stops laughing when she notices my hand and how red it was.

"Hey what happened to your hand?"

"I was mad at Finn once I gained all my memories back. I cursed him out and then slapped, because he claimed that what you, Noah and Santana were saying was a lie or something like that, then he grabbed my arm, when I went to leave and I turned around and punched him in his nose."

"Well I'm proud of you."

"Thanks… I can't wait until your wedding."

"Me either for oblivious reasons."

"I'm so proud of you for finally making Brittany your wife."

"Technically she's not for 4 more days, but I understand what you mean.

"4 more days."

"Yep."

"So, you're going to ignore her for 4 days?"

"No, I'm simply going to be myself."

"Good luck."

"Thanks, because I'm going to need it." We all laughed as we left the room, and to have some dinner.

A/N: So, now that Rachel has gained her memories back, when do you think they will have sexy times? It's gonna happen but when? What was your favorite part of the chapter and why?
