A/N: Welcome to the SIXTEENTH chapter of Abnormal Childhood where our heroes will finally reveal themselves to save Dende and are chased by Dodoria. Enjoy!

"Do you finally understand?" inquired Frieza. "As I've tried to explain to you from the start, it's impossible for you to defeat us. Now give me the Dragon Ball!"

"Someone's upset," I noted dryly.

Frieza smirked as the elder Namek came back down. "You can trust me when I say you've made the right decision and since you owe us something in return for our scouters, I think this is more than an equitable trade, don't you agree?"

"You wretch!" spat the elder Namek. "You leave me no choice. Just promise me you'll leave us in peace."

The elder Namek headed to his house as Frieza called after him. "Oh and don't worry. I'll keep an eye on the children until you get back."

"You got what you wanted," muttered Krillin. "Enough already!"

"I hate him!" growled Gohan.

I nodded. "Monster, acting like he's the victim. He's got some nerve!"

"Calm down, you two," urged Krillin. "I told you, we're just gonna have to wait. I don't like it either, but we aren't going to do any good getting ourselves killed."

The elder Namek brought out the Dragon Ball and gave it to Frieza. "Here. You have what you came for. Now take it and leave."

"I'll do that," replied Frieza. "And while I'm deciding whether or not to kill you, tell me where to find the last two Dragon Balls!"

"How dare you!" fumed the elder Namek. "We had an agreement! Take your Dragon Ball and leave us as promised. You'll get nothing more from me! Go, for the last time. Go now and leave us in peace."

"Oh shut up," said Frieza. "I promised nothing and considering the circumstances, I'd hardly say you're in a position for issuing threats. Now tell me what I want to know or I'll beat it out of you!"

"Do your worst!" challenged the elder Namek. Dodoria knocked him backwards into his house. "Torture me all you like! It won't do you any good. I don't know where they are."

"One, you're lying," replied Frieza. "And two, you've already hindered my search by destroying the scouters! Normally, I'd say that's more than enough reason to kill you, but I'm feeling generous. I'll give you one last chance to save yourself."

"Why should I believe the word of a murderer?" asked the elder Namek.

"Oh well. I guess you caught me," remarked Frieza. "I was planning to kill you even if you talked."

"We don't need him," argued Zarbon. "Even without the scouters, it wouldn't be too difficult to find the next village."

"Yes, Zarbon," agreed Frieza. "You must have read my mind."

"Those scumbags!" muttered Krillin as the children ran.

"Alright then, if it's a fight you want so be it!" yelled the elder Namek.

Dodoria killed one of the kids with an energy beam from his mouth. Gohan and I lunged forward but Krillin held us back.

"Don't do it, you two!" He ordered us. "I'm sorry, but if we go down there, we'll end up like him."

"It would be better than hiding like cowards," I responded.

Meanwhile Dodoria grabbed a hold of the elder Namek and broke his neck. "That's two Nameks down and one more to go."

The monster turned on the last kid who bolted. Dodoria chased after him. "What's wrong? Don't you want to play, kid? I do and I know just the thing, play dead!"

Gohan leapt to his feet, his whole body shook with anger as he flew in. "Stop it!"

I hurried after him as Gohan kicked Dodoria in his face, sending him flying.

"Ha! Take that, jerk!" he exclaimed as we landed in front of the Namek.

"What? Where did you come from?!" demanded Dodoria, getting back on his feet.

"If you want to get to him, you're gonna have to get through us!" Gohan informed him.

"If you insist," said Dodoria, smirking as Krillin rushed and in and kicked the pink idiot in his face.

I grinned. "Nice form."

Krillin did not respond instead he grabbed the Namekian child. "Come on! We gotta get out of here! Right now!"

We flew away with Dodoria close behind us. Apparently, he didn't appreciate getting kicked in the face twice.

"Man, he's fast," I remarked as Dodoria taunted and fired energy blasts at us. We dodged his attacks several times, but we couldn't shake him. Eventually Dodoria was able to hit Krillin making him drop the Namek who was recovered by Gohan.

"Get going!" Krillin told us as Dodoria fired a laser out of his mouth. "He's closing in fast!"

We nodded and flew even faster while Krillin used the solar flare on Dodoria, blinding him so we could get away from the monster and hide.

"That was great, Krillin!" commended Gohan as Dodoria flew over us.

"Was that Tien's technique I've heard about from Mom?" I inquired.

"Yep!" confirmed Krillin, smiling quickly at me before returning his gaze to Dodoria. "I thought so! Without his scouter, he doesn't know how to find us! We just need to lay low until he decides to give up. Who knows, with a little luck, we may be able to get out of here in one piece."

"You were right, Krillin," murmured Gohan as Dodoria flew up higher. "Look, he's leaving."

"I don't think so," I murmured back as Dodoria started to power up.

"Look what I found here!" He shouted then blasted the entire area. "Let's see them survive that! Frieza should be pleased, though he did say he wanted to know who they were. It doesn't matter who they were, they're dead now!"

The idiot then flew away, never bothering to look above him where the four of us were hovering in midair.

"That was close," noted Gohan.

"Thank God they're stupid," I breathed.

"Come on, let's get back to your mom," replied Krillin before remembering the Namekian child. "Hey, can you fly?"

The Namek nodded. "Yes. Thanks a lot for saving me."

"No, don't thank me," responded Krillin, pointing his thumb at Gohan and I. "Gohan's the one who charged in to get you. Lorren too. I just followed their lead."

Gohan smiled. "Thanks, but that's not true, Krillin. If it wasn't for you that guy would have caught us for sure."

"He's right," I agreed. "I'm sorry for calling you a coward, by the way."

"It's all good," Krillin assured me before returning his attention to the Namek. "So, anyway, why don't you stick with us? I promise we're nowhere near as bad as those other jerks."

"Yeah," replied the Namek.

"Great," said Gohan, grinning as he took the lead and indicated the direction of the cave. "Follow us, it's this way."

We were almost at the cave when we sensed something.

"Great, someone's coming!" groaned Krillin, grabbing the Namek's hand and heading for land. "We gotta hide, guys! Down there! Hurry!"

"I don't know," whispered Gohan after we hid ourselves the best we could and waited. "It doesn't seem like we got a lot of cover here."

"What choice do we have?" I pointed out, standing next to him.

"Lorren's right," agreed Krillin. "It's better than being up in the air. Just keep your power levels down and hope we're lucky."

"Well, it's not the pink guy again," I informed them as I jerked my thumb at Vegeta. "But I'm wishing it was."

Vegeta suddenly glanced over in our direction. We tried to hide as much as possible and he eventually stared elsewhere.

"Great," I muttered. "I think he's looking for us, but how could he know we're here?"

Gohan shook his head. "I don't think he does. See, he's leaving."

"Good," grunted Krillin. "And he doesn't have a scouter. He must be looking for something else. I'm guessing he doesn't know we're here."

"I hope you're right," I said, doubtfully.

Krillin gasped. "That is unless Vegeta's learned how to sense power levels! If he has, we're screwed! Even if we push our power down to zero, he could still sense him!"

"Not good," I stated unnecessarily.

"He's coming this way!" Gohan informed us.

"It's no good. He's got us," admitted Krillin. "We can at least lead him away from the kid."

Gohan and I nodded.

"Let's go," said Krillin and we started to run out right as a giant fish leapt out of the water in front of us and dove back in, sending us on our butts."

"Damn, just a fish," noted Vegeta while we remained hidden. "Forget it. I've wasted enough time chasing shadows. There are still two more Dragon Balls waiting out there to be found."

"That was way too close," I sighed as Vegeta flew away.

"I don't know about you three, but I for one don't plan to be sitting around here when he gets back," announced Krillin. "Let's get moving. That cave is sounding cozier by the minute."

"Knowing Mom, I'm sure she's made herself right at home," I figured, especially since I knew what she had packed for the trip before we left last month. We reached the cave to find Mom was nowhere in sight. "Mom? We're back!"

"I don't see her anywhere," said Gohan, glancing around. "Do you think she's okay?"

"Yeah. She's most likely in the back," I assured him. "Come on."

I led the way inside the cave to where my mom had set up a capsule house. Hey, if you're gonna camp, you might as well do it in style. "I knew it."

"Guess I shouldn't be surprised your mom brought her capsules with her," mused Krillin.

"Yeah, Mom's not really one for roughing it," I agreed as my mother threw open the door, saw us standing there, and ran up to us with her arms crossed. "Hi, Mom."

"Hi, baby girl," she responded with a quick smile then went back to scowling. "Well, it's about time you three came back! What took you so long anyway? I thought I was gonna die of boredom!"

I laughed and hugged her. "I missed you, Mom."

"Must have been rough," said Krillin while the Namek hid behind Gohan.

"Hey, what's the deal with the miniature Piccolo?" inquired Mom after hugging me back. "He's a Namekian, right? Sure it's a good idea to bring him here?"

"Sure," replied Gohan, glancing at the Namek. "We saved him."

"What happened out there?" demanded Mom.

"How about we go inside first?" suggested a clearly exhausted Krillin. "Then we'll tell you the whole story."

"It would be nice to sit down," I murmured, feeling tired myself. "It's been a long day."

Mom nodded before suddenly getting very excited and clapping her hands together. "Oh yeah! I have a lot to tell you too."

"Like what?" I asked, cocking a dark eyebrow.

"I just talked to Grandpa a while ago," she informed us. "And guess what? He said Goku's on his way here to Namek! And brace yourselves, he'll be here in six days! That's right! He's using a replica of the Saiyan ship he came to Earth in as a baby. Grandpa worked all day and night to fix it up for him and he's still training too! So he'll be ready to take on the bad guys. What do you think?"

"We're saved," I said as Gohan cheered.

"I don't believe it. Goku. This means we still have a fighting chance," declared Krillin.

"Alright!" I exclaimed, pumping a clenched fist into the air. "Now we're talking!"
