I'm back. this didn't take as long as i thought, but its also not my best because its a ship I don't ship anymore. I haven't written Elliot in a positive way in years, so this is an attempt. I'm sorry if it's not my best. I've had a lot going on in my life.
Word: Cornered
Ship: EO
Olivia was relaxing on her couch with a glass of wine. Noah was asleep and it had been a hell of a day, and she needed to do it all again tomorrow. Emotions and feelings ran through her body. Elliot was back. There was a time when she longed for him to walk back in her life, but now, she didn't know how to feel. And then he cornered her in her own office to get into interrogation.
It was just like it was a decade ago. He said jump and she said how high. He still had power over her.
There was a knock on her door and she sighed. She went to open the door, and there he was. "Elliot, what are you doing here?"
Elliot shrugged. "I needed to talk to someone other than my kids and doctors."
Olivia sighed. "And you chose me to talk to."
Elliot nodded. "Look, I'll go if you want, I just… I need someone to talk to about something other than Kathy being in the hospital."
Olivia thought for a minute and she opened her door and let him in. "Just be quiet, Noah's asleep." She watched him walk in the door. "I'd ask how you know where I live but you're a cop."
Elliot nodded. "Yeah, exactly that. Is everything okay Liv?"
Olivia looked up at him. "You left me. You left me here for 10 years by myself." She felt tears forming. "And then you waltz back into my life, and you act like nothing has changed. A lot has changed Elliot. You no longer outrank me, I outrank you. I have a son, I found love and I lost it because I constantly tell myself I'm not worthy of love or of anything good"
"I nearly lost my son. I had abuse allegations against me, his biological grandmother kidnapped him. I was kidnapped. Twice. And I almost died each time. I have more scars than I can count, physical and emotional. I'm not the same person anymore and you walk in here and act like time stopped when you left and it didn't." The words came out of her mouth like a flood. She stood up a little straighter and set her jaw, biting back the tears threatening to fall.
Elliot stepped closer to her. "Okay, I hear you. I don't expect things to be the way they were, and I'm sorry for waltzing in like nothing happened."
Olivia moved closer to him. "You will never, never, corner me the way you did in my office again. Never. I outrank you. I am the boss here. I am the boss at SVU and you come in as a detective and think you can boss me around? No."
Elliot nodded. "Fair enough." He looked down at his feet and then looked up at Olivia. "So, Noah. How's he doing?"
Olivia looked at him. "He's fine." She looked at him and saw the unasked question. "What do you want to know?"
Elliot rubbed the back of his neck. "Who's his father?"
Olivia decided to fuck with him a little. "Tucker," she said with a straight face, just to see his reaction. When his face fell she smiled. "Relax, he's adopted. Though Tucker was… I loved him very deeply. Never told him though."
Elliot was shocked. "You and Tucker?"
Olivia smiled gently and nodded. "For about two years." She nodded and looked down. "Until I couldn't run away from my feelings and bury it in the sex anymore. Until he wanted something more and I was too afraid so I pushed him away." She got choked up.
Elliot was still flabbergasted. "What happened to him? He still in IA?"
Olivia felt tears prick her eyes and she pursed her lips. She shook her head. "No, he uh, he transferred towards the end of our relationship to Conviction Integrity. About a year ago, he retired, settled down with his new wife and about a week later he killed himself." She nodded and let the tears fall from her eyes. "He had brain cancer, and he didn't want to lose his memory, didn't want to be a burden to his new wife." She shrugged. "He knew when we were together and he never told me. I think… I think he was protecting me… and Noah." She smiled sadly. "Noah has an Elephant named after him. Eddie." She wiped her eyes. "I'm sorry," she whispered and cleared her throat. "The worst part is I never told him I loved him."
Elliot looked at her. "The way you love… he knew. Believe me, he knew."
Olivia shook her head. "He deserved to hear it. I know you didn't see it, Elliot, but he was a good man, just doing his job." She said gently.
Elliot stepped closer to her, closing the space between them, wiping her eyes. "He was a lucky man."
Olivia closed her eyes. "El—" Olivia was cut off by his lips on hers, and she melted into him for a moment before she pushed him away. "Elliot we can't. You're married, your wife is in the hospital."
Elliot held onto her. "I know, I know she is, but Liv… I can't bury this anymore. I can't not tell you how I feel."
Olivia shook her head. "This is wrong Elliot." She looked into his eyes, and her heart sped up. "This is…" she gave in and kissed him, wrapping her arms around him. She knew this was wrong but she was desperate for touch. She craved it.
Elliot knew what she was saying was true, this was wrong, but he needed to forget. He kissed her back and backed her up against the wall, pinning her arms above her head. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her, but he was still married, and his wife was in the hospital after their car exploded from a bomb that was planted by an unknown assailant.
Olivia moaned and arched her back into him, feeling his hands running over her body. She broke the kiss, only to feel his lips move to her neck. "Oh, Elliot." She felt his hands under her shirt. She smiled and let out a squeal at the feel of his calloused hands on her skin.
Elliot made quick work of both their clothes and before either knew it, he was buried inside her. "Oh, Liv. Baby."
Olivia gasped. "Oh, Elliot!" She felt him start to move. "Ooh, right, no, a little harder." She felt him comply and she closed her eyes. "Yeah, like that," she leaned in for a kiss at the same time he did and they wound up colliding. "Ow," she rubbed her head. "Go the other way," she giggled as they kissed again.
Elliot was thrusting in and out of her, hard and fast. "Oh, baby, you feel amazing."
Olivia was trying to get lost in the sensation of finally having Elliot Stabler inside of her, but she couldn't. The only thing on her mind was Kathy's face. "I'm— oh!" She gasped when he hit a sensitive spot inside her. "Bedroom." She said gently.
Elliot carried her into her bedroom and laid her on the bed, kissing her again. "Oh, baby, I'm not going to last much longer." He panted.
Shit. She thought to herself. She decided to turn on the theatrics, because there was no way she was even close to finishing. Luckily she'd perfected faking it. "Oh, Elliot!" She threw her head back and arched her back. "Mm, yeah." She started to move with him and milk him, doing kegels to make it seem realistic. "Oh, yeah, just like that!" She felt his release inside her and she let out a moan, clamping down on him as he brought himself down. Once he collapsed on top of her she closed her eyes and panted. "Oh, El."
Elliot smiled. "That was amazing." He rolled off of her to the side.
Olivia quickly covered herself with a sheet, suddenly feeling exposed. Perhaps if she could get his hospitalized wife out of her mind she'd have actually enjoyed it. "Yeah, for me too." She lied. She sat up and looked over at him. "Um, maybe you should go," she said softly. "I have to get some sleep, Noah has school in the morning and I have work." She rubbed the back of her neck. "And you should get back to Kathy." She said and looked down at the bed. She was officially the other woman.
Elliot looked at her. "Yeah. Thank you, uh, for that." He could tell she didn't enjoy herself. That she felt guilty for what they had just done, and part of him did too, but he couldn't feel completely guilty because he loved Olivia so deeply.
Olivia laughed and looked at him. "I'm sorry, Elliot. How can you think that was amazing? We just committed adultery," she laughed. "I'm an adulterous whore." She flopped back as she laughed at the gravity of it all. She let out a few more laughs and she stopped. "I'm sorry, Elliot. Really. But I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that you're married."
Elliot looked at her and laughed. "Why didn't you stop me?"
Olivia looked at him. "Because I wanted it to be good. Your wife laying in a hospital bed kind of hindered that." She looked at him. "You can't tell me that was truly amazing."
Elliot shrugged. "I guess it wasn't," he looked at her. "I'm sorry, Liv." He said after laughing a bit more. "I'm sorry I put you in such an awkward situation."
Olivia shook her head. "Takes two to tango, Elliot. We both walked into the situation. I just feel bad for being the woman you cheated on your wife with."
Elliot nodded. "And I guess I'm sorry for using you. I needed to forget."
Olivia looked at him. "I needed to be touched. I used you too." She ran her hand down her face. "Can we agree that we have no more sex until you're divorced?" Not wanting to even think of Kathy dying, that would be hell for her kids. That would be hell for Elliot.
Elliot nodded. "I'm not getting divorced Liv. I love Kathy. I can't… we're finally happy."
Olivia smiled. "Then tonight will just be between us. An attempt at something more than friendship. The two of us… can we just agree that we're better off as friends?"
Elliot nodded. "Seems fair to me. And Liv? For the record? You're not an adulterous whore. Thank you for trying to help me."
Olivia looked at him. "Elliot, thank you for touching me. No one's done that since… anyway, you may not view me that way, but it's going to take me some time not to view myself that way. Because I don't know about you but I feel incredibly guilty about what just happened. Especially because your wife is lying in a hospital bed in the ICU after a bomb went off in your car." She raised an eyebrow. "You can't tell me you don't feel some guilt about what we just did. The Catholic guilt is real. So I hear."
Elliot smiled. "Yeah, I do feel guilty. I wanted so badly to forget, and I hurt Kathy in the process." He looked at Olivia, then at the wall. "I have to apologize to Kathy."
Olivia looked at him. "Are you high? Elliot telling her this will kill her and it'll make you feel better, but it'll make her feel like shit. You don't get to do that to her. You don't get to hurt her like that while she's lying in a hospital bed. Or ever, for that matter."
Elliot looked back at her. "So what? I just have to live with this?"
Olivia nodded. "Is that not punishment enough for what just happened? That and the fact that the sex was absolutely abysmal?"
Elliot nodded. "I suppose it is."
Olivia raised an eyebrow. "Now, get your clothes on and go so I can get some sleep, please."
Elliot smirked. "You're kicking me out?"
Olivia shrugged. "If the sex was good I'd probably let you stay and cuddle for a little bit but here we are. So, yes… I'm kicking you out."
