Outside the tent a postman walked towards Lincoln with a letter.

Dear Lincoln no doubt by now you may have heard but we got a telegram from western union telling us Clyde was shot down and killed in action over in Italy the news was heartbreaking to me and Howard I know you guys had been great freinds together and that you two had enlisted together were sorry that you have hear it from us but just remember Clyde will always be in our hearts God Bless Lincoln stay safe Harold McBride.
Lincoln just went into a state of shock just hearing the news Clyde his best freind some one he knew very well and liked dearly now gone having been killed in action in Italy he just felt like the whole world was just about to fall on him
William" Lincoln are you okay Lincoln.
Tears started to form and stream down his face and he just got down on his knees and just took out the picture of clyde in his uniform
Lincoln" hes dead will he's dead.
