3:00 AM Sunday morning. Three hours until rebellion.

Casper had made a discovery that night. Thatch slept like he was dead.

The ghost had set his alarm for 3 am, and the Thatch didn't even stir. It was a little scary actually. If the vampire ever died in his sleep, Casper might not notice at first. He had to meet Wendy at the docs in an hour to discuss plans. He wished he didn't have to; he'd much rather stay snuggled up under the blankets with Thatch. It was soft, and warm, and loving. At least, as warm as a vampire and a ghost could make it. Neither of them had very high body temperatures. Vampires had really low blood pressures, and Ghosts simply didn't produce heat…

(unless they are fire ghosts)

Casper was desperately trying not to fall back asleep, he had a responsibility to keep. He played with the others hair, a content smile on his face. When they left the greenhouse, Casper gave Thatch an old baggy t-shirt to wear. He couldn't go to sleep in a soaked suit, regardless of how wrinkled it may have been.

Casper frowned.

Would Thatch be mad about him taking down Kibosh? Scaring was a big thing to the vampire, and with new management, Underworlds scare based society would change quite a bit. It likely wouldn't be a career option anymore, or at least a very rare one. Wendy told him anti Ghoul was going to take things slow, but he knew there would still be some changes, that was the main point. He didn't want Thatch mad at him, but he couldn't pretend like nothing was wrong ether.

Kibosh went around abusing his people, abusing humans, erasing the histories and cultures of monsters. He cared too much about his friends to ignore it. Werewolves are so abused and targeted that they can't even walk around in their main form, they have to stay as wolves all the time. Witch's weren't allowed in certain parts of the city due to the 'danger they pose to ghosts.' (Kibosh's words, not his.)

He would just have to hope that Thatch would understand, or that the vampire would at least forgive him. He was a little scared that he and Wendy might lose tomorrow, and he might never get to see Thatch again. But he decided to refuse this possibility. The vampire used to hate him. Now they were snuggled up in the same bed. Knowing that somebody could change their mind this drastically, it did something for Casper. It reminded him that people cared for him, even if sometimes his doubt got the better of him and make him believe otherwise.

He wasn't going to lose. He was going to come back. For Thatch, for Mantha, for Ra, for his uncles, for Kat, for Wendy, for Hotstuff, for his grandfather, and for all his pets. He wasn't going to leave them behind. He was not going to let Kibosh win.

Casper untangled himself from Thatch and gave him a quick kiss on the head. He had a rebellion to prepare for.

5:58. Rebellion, 2 minutes away from starting.

Casper was now waiting just outside of Kibosh's castle. He was invisible, hiding in a tree near the back door of the palace kitchen. He was waiting for Wendy's signal.

The castle was on a lake at the far end of the city, and was surrounded by a special force field that kept out everyone but specifically registered individuals.

With the exception of ghosts.

Kibosh employed so many ghosts in his ranks, anywhere from guards to maids. With so many ghosts constantly being hired and fired, the force field was set to allow any ghost in, with the exception of some individuals. Casper was not listed as a threat, and in theory could come and go as he pleased. Wendy had used her skillful ways to find this out by threatening a past worker, and then erasing the memory of her asking.

There was a second problem of course; security. This place was loaded with guards and cameras. The security guards were easy enough to pass, ghosts couldn't see other invisible ghosts. They could sense other ghosts nearby, but with the castle having so many, none would notice Casper entering. The cameras on the other hand, they posed more of an issue. They had lenses that could see ghost energy, so they would see him easily, invisible or not.

But they had to get into the castle and break the force field generators. All three of them. He recalled what Wendy told him earlier;

"The palace has three generators for three force fields. One for the palace, one for Underworld city, and one for the entire state of main. The third one works a lot like the spell on Orchid Bay. Magic folk can come into the state, but they can't leave. That's why cryptids from other states and countries avoid Maine like the plague, no one wants to get stuck under Kibosh's rule. It also helps keep monsters from contacting the outside world, furthering his ability to control and manipulate them. Kibosh is powerful, but his biggest strength is his mind. He has a system in place for every possible creature that would want to fight him. They say even gods won't come and fight him because they don't want to risk him using the Cleptor on them."

So the plan was to distract Kibosh, and while he was distracted, Casper would sneak into the building and destroy the generators. Breaking the third generator was the first goal. Wendy said there are allies waiting right outside of Maine right now. The second the spell is broken; they'll charge in to help. It'll take time for them to get here, but once they do, Kibosh will have his hands full. He has a lot of knights, but Wendy says Anti Ghoul has a lot of allies.

But then he'll need to take down the second generator so they can get into underworld city, and then the first generator so Kibosh doesn't hide in his castle and escape into the ghost zone.

Then, they had to get the Cleptor away from Kibosh…which wasn't going to be easy. It was going to be near impossible actually. He could summon it at will, he could take anyone's powers as long as they were within line of sight, or close enough. Casper was starting to regret not sending his friends one last text, but he had ran out of time.

Casper couldn't see it, but he knew Kibosh was likely exiting the front castle gate. The king left for his city office every day at exactly 6 am. The little ghost could hear the rev of a speed boat. It was go time. He readied himself to fly into the kitchen at top speed.

In the front of the castle, Kibosh was just about to enter his limo when he heard an oddly loud speed boat somewhere to his left. He looked over just in time to see the boat vaulting up and onto the bridge in a flash of red sparkles. It hit the stone bridge with a screech, the metal boat creating sparks and fire as it slid. At the helm of the boat was a young woman in what could be best described as ninja clothing. A black jumpsuit with red details, a red straw hat, boots, and a tattered red poncho that covered most of her face.

"YOU!" The girl exclaimed angrily, pointing at Kibosh. "YOU'RE A JERK!"

"I thought that was you pulling all those destructive crimes, daughter of mine." The green ghost responded calmly.

"I wanted to get a message across…" Wendy hissed, pulling down her face mask and throwing her hat off to the side. "I WILL NOT BE THROWN AROUND LIKE A TOY! YOU CAN'T JUST THROW ME IN SOME SCHOOL WHENEVER YOU PLEASE!" she screeched angrily.

"I'm your father, I did what I thought was best for you. Calm down and we'll discuss it."

"NO! I DON'T WANNA TALK, I WANNA FIGHT! I'VE BEEN TRAINING A WHOLE YEAR FOR THIS!" she grabbed her red wand from her belt and got in a fighting pose.

Kibosh sighed in annoyance. He didn't even flinch as a magic blast was sent swirling past his face.

Wendy knew she had to do this just right. She had to be annoying enough to draw him away from the castle, but not too annoying that he would just use the Cleptor. She also had to be subtle about it, she had to make sure he wouldn't figure out what she was doing. If she tried to lure him away from the castle too quickly, he would figure out it was a distraction.

She sent another weak blast his away, he casually stepped out of the way.

It annoyed her how little he cared.

Casper had quickly jumped into the kitchen maintenance door, and into the kitchen. Standing there was a young ghost maid, she looked rather shocked to see him. Understandably. There was a strange ghost boy in her kitchen, and more so, he was wearing a maid outfit just like hers.

"Excuse me, who are you?" She asked, raising her brows in confusion.

He pulled a bottle out of a pocked at aimed it at her, opening up the cap. In a quick whirlwind, she was sucked in. She didn't even have time to scream as she was trapped in glass.

"Sorry miss." He whispered as he sealed up the bottle and put back in his pocket.

He then shapeshifted to look like her. Wendy's attack would only keep security distracted for a few minutes, once Kibosh gave chase, they'd go back to guarding the castle. He wouldn't be able to fly fast enough to find the generators, so the disguise was necessary.

He grabbed a nearby cleaning cart and headed out of the kitchen. Gotta look and act natural.

The castle was like something out of a medieval drawling, stone walls, red carpets, steel chandeliers. Displays of Knight armor decorating the hallways. If not for the security cameras, he would have thought he went back in time. It made him wonder what Underworld city was like 200 years ago, before Kibosh took it over. Who used to live here? Wendy mentioned it used to be a Ghoul facility, but he didn't think to ask what Ghoul facilities were like. He knew monsters weren't allowed to go back to the human world. He supposed that was the only good thing to come out of Kibosh's rule…well, that and Wendy herself.

Casper rounded the hall corner and casually took out a floor plan from his jacket. It was in normal white paper and drawn in faint pencil, so it was highly unlikely the security cameras would be able to see it. They'd just think he…or rather, she, was just looking at a checklist.

According to the directions, he had to go up 3 floors, and head left, then head up into a tower. In the tower were the force field generators. This seemed simple enough? Right?

He heard an explosion outside and flinched. He sure hoped Wendy was doing ok…

Wendy jumped back and sent another blast towards Kibosh, they were at the far end of the bridge now. So far it was working. She had to get him father away though. A green blast was sent her direction, she dodged it slower than she normally would. She had to pretend to be weaker than what she actually was, had to keep up the charade.

"Wendy you won't win this. Give it up and come back to the castle." Kibosh said calmly, smacking away a red power blast.

"Not until you apologize!" She snapped.

"I do not apologize." He stated darkly.

"Then you better keep fighting, glow stick!" she mocked with a smirk.

This visibly irritated him.

He threw out a green blast of lighting, she dodged, but let her arm get hit. It didn't feel good, but it certainly wouldn't kill her. He was still just playing with her.

She fell to the ground, pretending the lighting hurt more that it really did. She grimaced and grabbed her arm. She scowled at Kibosh, and snapped her fingers. Her broomstick came zooming out of the city. She quickly grabbed on with her other arm and few off towards the city. As she hoped, her father scowled and flew off after her.

Casper got to the tower entrance, and opened the door with a necessary key that was on the cleaning trolley. He quickly flew up the spiral stairs. He was in a bit of a hurry now; security might wonder why a random maid was going up there. Once he opened the top door, he halted to a stop. He felt both panicked, and incredibly annoyed.

In the center of the room were the generator batteries, which was good...but on the opposite wall, facing away from him, sitting at a computer desk, was freaking Snivel

Snivel didn't seem too concerned, he turned around casually and raised a brow at the young 'lady.'

"Yes?" he asked in his usual, confused, nasally tone.

Casper tried his best to mimic the lady's voice.

"Ah yes, I was passing by for cleaning, and I thought I would see if you needed any coffee." 'She' took out a little pen and pad from her back pocket. Let nobody say Casper didn't come prepared.

"Oh, yeah, sure. I like mine with six spoons of salt, and 2 spoons of rat fur."

It took all of Casper's will power not to gag. The rat fur was nasty and weird on its own, but the salt made it so much worse! If Snivel was human, his blood pressure would be awful…

Hopefully security was also buying this act.

"Ok, I'll be back in a few minutes." Casper turned, and acted like he was leaving.

Snivel turned around and faced the computer again. This was exactly what Casper wanted. He opened and closed the door, making it sound like he left. Then he quietly headed towards Snivel, in his hand he formed a baseball bat out of ice. In one quick motion, he brought it down on Snivels head, knocking him unconscious to the floor.

Now he really had to hurry, as there was no way security didn't see that.

Intruder alarms started blaring.

Yup, they saw it.

The generators in the center of the room were three hand sized pink glowing orbs, each surrounded by a glass cylinder. The orbs had wires attached to them that went into the pedestals they sat on. And presumably the wires went through the floor and to the computer.

Wendy had explicitly told him to remove the power sources, shutting down the computer won't turn off the force fields.

Casper used the bat to smash open the glass cylinders, and then he ripped out the power orbs in a display of sparks. He placed the orbs in the pockets of his apron and flew up to the ceiling, where there was a glass window. But in front of the glass window was a metal shield of some kind, it must have gone down when the alarms activated. He couldn't phase through ether; Wendy had told him the orbs didn't phase through things, no matter how hard you tried. They simply won't go intangible.

So his only option was to break the glass, and then break the metal shudders. He closed his eyes and slammed the ice bat into the window, it broke in a shower of broken glass, which made a delightful noise as it hit the floor beneath him. Then he dropped the bat and placed both hands on the metal shudders and began to freeze them, then melt them, the freeze them again. If he did this enough times, it would make the shudders weak enough to bend a little bit. He just needed a hole big enough to push the orbs through, then he could phase himself through.

He was getting increasingly freaked out, security would be on top of him soon. He had to do this fast. He stopped freezing the shudders and formed an ice crow bar. He jammed in between two shudders and started trying to bend. After a moment, his crow bar snapped. The hole wasn't big enough yet. He dropped the broken pieces and made a new crow bar, and started bending again. The crow bar snapped again. The hole looked close enough.

It took some shoving, but he managed to get the orbs through, and then he phased through the ceiling and up onto the roof. He quickly snapped back to his original form, there was no point hiding his identity now. (Also, it took a lot of energy.) Then he stuck the orbs back in his apron and ran to the other end of the tower roof, he formed another ice bat and grabbed an orb.

Casper and his father used to love going to baseball games. Time to make him proud.

The ghost threw an orb in the air, and went it came back down, he hit it the bat as hard as he could. It flew out of sight, and landed somewhere in the ocean (or was it considered a lake?) He grabbed another and did the same thing, it landed far away, in the ocean as well. He could hear someone behind him, he didn't care. He took out the last orb, and hit it was hard as he could, his ice bat splintered on impact. The orb was long gone now.

He quickly turned around and hit a guard with the bat, the green security guard stumbled back. Another guard tried to grab him, he ducked and rolled away. He was no match for ten security guards, but he could still try and run. He just had to stall until back up arrived, with the force fields gone, they were already on their way.

Casper had started to run when he heard an awful sound.

A whistle. A deep, echo, eerie whistle.

He turned back to see Snivel, glaring at him. Whistle in hand.

Kibosh's whistle.

Wendy dodged a lightning strike. Her fight with Kibosh was starting to heat up, he was getting increasingly annoyed, and she had to step up her game to accommodate for his temper. It was going well though; he was still distracted.

Until a whistle sounded.

A creepy, echo whistle that made her heart drop.

The sound came from the direction of the castle. Kibosh stopped his attack and looked back in the direction of the castle. He then looked back at Wendy, and then scowled. He figured it out. Her eyes went wide.

Kibosh quickly flew off in the direction of the castle.

"Casper!" Wendy flipped onto her broom and flew after him. (She's standing on it btw, not sitting.)

Ghosts could fly fast when they really wanted to, but they were still no match for a witch and her broomstick. She quickly zoomed past the green phantom and headed for Casper. The castle came into view; she could see a group of ghost guards chasing something.

"Casper!" she gasped, flying faster.

She saw her friend and made a beeline for him, grabbing him out of the air and zooming away. She turned back and used her wand to shoot a blast of red lighting at the guards, who screamed and fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Did we buy enough time?!" the little ghost gasped.

"I don't know! But Kibosh knows what's going on, we can't let him escape!"

"I have no intention of fleeing." A voice boomed from in front of them.

The two yelped as Kibosh appeared a few feet in front of them. At that speed, Wendy couldn't stop. She pushed Casper off and jumped, her broom stick kept flying. With his arms cross, Kibosh didn't even flinch as the broomstick speeded towards him. He didn't need to. In a flash of lightning, the broomstick was struck and disintegrated in a bust of fire and splinters.

"Broomy!" Wendy yelped sadly, looking back as Casper flew the both of them out of Kibosh's line of sight.

He quickly ducked into a shed next to the castle, and turned the both of them invisible.

The wind started to pick up, thunder started to boom constantly, rain started to pour down. The wind howled and the shed shook.

Kibosh was mad.

"I know you two are still nearby, I can sense you." The kings voiced boomed from somewhere nearby.

Casper and Wendy stayed motionless in the shed, huddled together, hoping back up would arrive soon.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind ripped the door off the shed. Kibosh's green glow and piecing red eyes could be seen through the dusty winds. The king raised his hands and clapped, from his hands came a twister, which quickly grew and decimated the shed. Casper was ripped from his friend's arms and taken on a ride as the twister continued moving.

The thing that made weather ghosts so dangerous, was that they were the only ghosts not effected by wind. Because phantoms were so light, they were easily thrown around by strong winds, weather ghosts being the only exception. Which meant they couldn't be sucked into bottles, couldn't be sucked into vacuums, and they could then use wind against other ghosts.

And then, you know, there's all the lightning.

Casper was not weather ghost; he was a frost ghost. So the twister threw him around and around like a ragdoll. He could hear Wendy and her father shouting at each other, and blasts of magic as they fought. The twister started to die down, and he found himself dizzily floating above the castle docks. He floated down to the ground, trying to get a bearing on direction. He shook his head in an attempt to snap out of it.

Casper looked back towards the castle, he could see blasts of red and green lighting up the area. The blasts kept getting louder, and closer. He jumped back as somebody got thrown through a castle wall, and onto the docks. It was Wendy.

Before he could run to help her, Kibosh slammed down onto the dock next to her and picked her up by her neck. In his other hand was the Cleptor. The young witch struggled to get away, holding onto his wrists to keep from choking.

"Remove her powers." He stated quietly, the Cleptor obeyed and a flash of green surrounded Wendy.

"I knew I should have just slaughtered all the witches 200 years ago, you're more trouble than you're worth." The king growled.

"My mother deserved better than you." She hissed.

Kibosh scoffed with a glare.

"P-put her down!" Casper snapped nervously.

The king turned his attention to the tiny ghost, raising a brow judgingly.

"I expected better of you Casper. Getting yourself mixed up in all of th-OOF" Kibosh was interrupted as Wendy kicked the Cleptor out of his hand. Hard. It went up and over them, flying a few yards away. Casper jumped and caught it just before it could fall off the docks and into the water.

Casper stared up at Kibosh in terror, while Kibosh stared down at Casper with astonishment.
