Lincoln had his fellow schoolmates at Grimwood's were sitted together as Tanis was telling them all about the mummified cats that she had at home in a pyramid in Egypt where she lived with her Mummy daddy (confusing to think about). "Yeah they are a riot, wish I was able to come and visit to see them for myself again." Winnie put in and Tanis giggled at the memory much to the confusion of Lincoln.
"That's right you haven't heard the story yet Lincoln. We had Winnie and her dad over once and they chased our cats right over the Pyramid. I liked having you around Winnie and sorry that you can't come over anymore." Tanis explained as Winnie shook off the sympathy shown towards her at the end.
"Don't mention it Tanis; it was fun but we understand if your pops doesn't like us scaring your pets. We have plenty of strays around our home to chase ourselves." Winnie replied as she then looked towards Lincoln. "Say Lincoln, how about your old man? You have mentioned your sisters a few times but how about your folks?" Winnie asked and Lincoln saw the stares coming towards him.
"Well my dad used to work in an office but now he is pursuing his dream as a chef." Lincoln explained as Sibella thought about it.
"Would he be able to make any meals for monsters that are eating over? Say a vampire who has half of his son's heart?" Sibella asked and Lincoln giggled getting what she was talking about.
"Sorry to say that I dont' think he could stomach making the food that you would be able to eat Sibella. How about you, how is the infamous Count Dracula?" Lincoln asked and had then realised that he had better remember this because off course Lucy was going to be asking when she hears about all this.
"Depending on your expectations Lincoln, you could be very disappointed as nowadays he is happy to lead a quiet life in our castle with me and my stepmother Vanna. He had been retiring as the monster you might think off in your mind after settling down upon meeting my mother, she had been a human so those genes passed onto me." Sibella explained and Lincoln was laughing at the mental image of the disappointment that Lucy and her Young Mortician's Club would have at the news. "How about you tell our boy at your father Phanty?" Sibella suggested to the other girlfriend of Lincoln and Phantasma was bursting to do so.
"We live in this closed down opera house but we love putting on performances for guests such as friends and relatives! He pulled off a spectacular one ghost rendition of Hamlet once and you should come and visit one day to see our shows!" Phantasma excitedly squealed to Lincoln and he smiled.
"I would love to Phantasma. Last but not least how about you Elsa, what can you say about Frankenteen Senior..." Lincoln asked putting his attention towards Elsa but then stopped as he had a puzzled look to their confusion. "Sorry Elsa but since your dad is clearly not a teen, does anyone ever question the name to him?" Lincoln asked but Elsa gave a slight nod.
"We have some stares Lincoln but for your question; Dada, Mama and I live in Grandpa Vic's castle. Dada likes watching me help Grandpa Vic with his experiments; he even showed me the lab where he built Dada and Mama." Elsa explained and Lincoln then realised something as he thought it over.
"Your grandpa built both of your parents, so technically your dad married his sisters..." Lincoln asked and they blinked never having thought about it like that. "Sorry it just came to me; probably best not to think about it too much. The very thought of marrying one of my sisters kind of horrifies and disgusts me." Lincoln muttered and then glared at the screen with a knowing look.
"Don't think about it is right Lincoln and you should think about getting to meet our dads yourself at Open House." Winnie told Lincoln and he was surprised. "Oh at Halloween Night we have an Open House where our dads come over to visit." Winnie explained and Lincoln thought about how appropriate it would be for the monsters to come together at their daughters' school on Halloween.
Yet he was still certain that a Halloween filled with famous monsters was still much safer for him than April Fool's Day back home.
"I can't wait, I have been talking about you in the letters to Dad and he is excited to meet you. Don't worry I told you all about how you are the best boyfriend ever!" Phantasma squealed to Lincoln and slowly it dawned on him that the famous monsters meeting him would involve the two fathers of his girlfriends.
"Father is counting down the days himself Lincoln; he wants to see the handsome white haired young man as well." Sibella told him and Lincoln's face became as white as his hair as the thought of being the boyfriend of Dracula's daughter having to meet the Count himself. What made it worse was learning about Vlad the Impaler in History class back home in Royal Woods.
"Don't worry about it Lincoln, I have met their dads myself and they are actually nice. Fully welcoming at our first Open House. Off course they followed it up with a dire warning if something happened to them under our care and I assume the Count and the Phantom would do the same only worse as overprotective dads but..." Shaggy said coming into the area with Scooby only for him realise that his words were not as reassuring as he had thought they were so then took his leave.
Lincoln then excused the 5 girls as he then walked outside the school and then let out a loud scared yell, it managed to be heard all the way from Royal Woods and the Loud Family upon recognising vaguely the sound of Lincoln's voice only chalked it up to imagining things due to missing the only male Loud child.
"My Lincoln, we should see if there are any banshees in your ancestry." Ms Grimwood stated upon Lincoln coming back in.
"Sibella, I have the feeling that we will have to play hide and seek with Lincoln at Open House when our dads arrive, with us as the seekers." Phantasma commented to Sibella and she sighed knowing the truth in her words. At least Lincoln couldn't very well hide from a phantom and a vampire who can turn into a bat.
