Meeting Friends/Allies

(Fiery Spear)

Alice Asmodeus, scion of the noble Asmodeus clan and son of Lady Amaryllis, member of the Thirteen Crowns and the Lord of Seduction. His family line bears a strong history of fire magic masters, great physical and magical ability, and and political power as having many members being a part of the Thirteen Crowns since the system was established. Alice took this history and lineage to heart and swore to uphold himself in as noble a manner as his name implies.

"That was absolutely magnificent my masters!" The pink hair demon sang out, kneeling before the royal twins. The Asmodeus family also had a habit of being incredibly passionate, especially toward the ones they swear their allegiance to. Being long time friends since childhood, Alice swore himself to the siblings as their spear and right hand, utterly devoted to praising them at every possible moment he can... despite constant reminders to stop. "Truly, your words would inspire even the most hopeless and weak among the Aleph(1) to push themselves to become Yodh(10) under your benevolent rule my dear lord and lady!" Iruma let out a small laugh at how little his friend has changed over the years while his sister was pouting and glaring at Alice. "Uhh... Lady Irumi?" The pout intensified as she let out a frustrated growl.

"You know what you're doing wrong Azz," Iruma told the kneeling demon, "and you know how to fix it." Asmodeus blushed, looking back at the still pouting princess as she waited for him to give the 'proper' response.

"It's good to see you again, U-Umi." He managed to get out, looking embarrassed and disgusted with himself that he called her anything less than 'mistress' or 'lady'. Irumi's response was to smile and plant a kiss on Alice's head.

"That's better Azzy." She smiled, causing Asmodeus's heart to race. "But still, you keep calling us 'lord' or 'lady', you're one of our best friends and you still insist on being our servant." She said while holding out her hand for Alice to kiss, knowing he's all to eager to do so. "What am I going to do with you?"

"Marry him?" Iruma suggested. "He is your fiance Umi, and how long do you plan on teasing him?" His sister's response was to slip into Alice's lap and wrap her arm around his neck. During one of the arguments between Delkira's three top advisors over who had the best grandchild, the Demon King realized that his babies would eventually grow up and have children of their own and he realized that he... wanted cute grandkids as well.

"My future husband, I can do whatever I want." She teased, sticking out her tongue while Asmodeus looked like his brain was frying. Iruma just shook his head at his sister's antics, her teasing her dear Azzy being one of her favorite hobbies... that was heavily influenced by lady Amaryllis. It wasn't the Asmodeus's power, their history, or their natural talent that caused the Demon King to arrange Irumi and Alice's future marriage, it was because seeing cute baby Alice was what inspired him to have children of his own.

"Uh-huh. Well, if you're going to do that, I'm going to go meet with the right of our close friends in the school." Iruma said, walking out of the classroom. "I think I'll start with the student council." He closed the door, leaving his sister and her betrothed. "He criticizes me for teasing you, yet he's going to do the same to poor Amerie."

(Powerful Maiden)

"Hello members of the Student Council!" Iruma happily greeted, entering the room of hustle and paperwork that is the Student Council. The Student Council, the governing body of the students of Bablys and the school's peacekeepers trusted by even the teachers to maintain law and order within the school. The current president is Amerie Azazel of the Azazel family, long time protectors of the Netherworld's borders and another consistent holder of a position among the Crowns. The current members of the council were various delinquents and outcasts that Amerie found and recruited, molding them into the ideal protectors of the school of Bablys. The five of them glared at Iruma for so brazenly barging into their sacred office while Amerie herself maintained civility and composure. Despite the interruption, the council continued their work while Amerie's subordinates wondered what the honor student was doing and that their was a limit to how gutsy a demon can be.

"You lot, I'll take care of this matter." Amerie suddenly said, stamping through a pile of papers in rapid succession. "You go on your patrols." The order surprised them as Amerie always led the patrols, that she would designate such an important assignment to her underlings to deal with this one upstart was shocking. But they had no reason to question their great leader and went on their way, giving Iruma the stink eye the whole time. As the last one left the room, Amerie rose to her feet and walked over to the prince, towering over his disguised form as they held each other's gaze. "Do you have it?" She asked, very seriously.

"Of course I do." The prince smirked, reaching into his pocket while accessing a dimensional pocket space. "I know how much you enjoy these, despite being illegal and dangerous." Iruma then pulled out the single most damning thing any demon of the Netherworld could possibly see, something so potent that it brings even the mighty Azazel to their knees. Human shoujo manga. "The latest volume of First Love Memories!" Amerie then let out an excited squee, wrapping the prince up in her tight embrace and spinning out of sheer joy.

"I love you so much right now!" She smiled as Iruma returned the hug.

"Anything for my cute fiancee." He said, placing a light kiss on her cheek and making her purr. Much like with Irumi and Alice, Iruma and Amerie were paired together because of just how cute Delkira thought his eventual grandchildren would be from the pair. While Amarillys was thrilled about having her son engaged to Irumi, solely because she's happy to have a daughter to fawn over, Henri Azazel was less thrilled about the matter. Mainly because he still sees her as his precious little girl and doesn't want to let her go, even to the royal family... not that Henri could complain since Amerie was all too happy about the engagement and he was not willing to defy the Demon King. "Did you want me to read it for you now or later?"

"You know I haven't needed you to read me anything in years. That said, we will be cuddling after school." Amerie said while blushing, her own ear horns twitching excitedly. Iruma placed another kiss on her nose.

"Absolutely Amerie." The two let go of each other as he floated towards the door. "I still have some people to check on so I'm heading out. See you after school my cute bride~!" He said before leaving the room and a blushing Amerie.

(Unbreakable Shield)

"Well, looks like Uma has settled his business with Amerie." The princess said while looking at her purple hell-phone with a smile, knowing full well about the two and their obsession with the 'forbidden texts' of the Netherworld. "And he's heading to the Student Discipline Committee to meet up with Ronove senpai." Irumi breathed a slight sigh of relief, finding the demon's personality a little grating due to being a shameless womanizing flirt on top of being an attention whore. However, it is time for her to find another loyal comrade of the royal twins, Sabro Sabnock.

The Sabnock family were weaponsmiths with their bloodline magic geared around creating weapons, though Sabro himself desired a bit more out of his life than just making weapon after weapon. With an obsession with the Demon King, a young Sabro Sabnock did everything he could to gain Delkira's attention in the hopes to one day be taken on as an apprentice to become the future Demon King himself. The desire for Delkira's attention came true as he and his family were one day invited to the castle on the order of the king himself while his hopes of becoming Delkira's successor were crushed when it was revealed to them that Delkira had children of his own to eventually succeed him. Sabro's father was being commissioned to craft ceremonial weapons for when the twins came of age and while the parents were discussing the finer details of the weapons, Sabro sneaked away to find and challenge the two royal highness to make them prove their worth. This led to a modified game of Execution Cannonball, Netherworld dodgeball, where Sabro could do whatever he wanted in the game and could only lose by vocally surrendering to the twins while Iruma and Irumi had to play by the normal rules. Due to their upbringing and harsh training, Sabro was badly beaten by the pair with each twin taking turns against him, but the demon refused to yield so easily. It wasn't until Irumi showed him kindness by healing and thanking him for giving it his all and letting them have fun while promising that the name of Sabro will be known throughout the Netherworld as a grand demon with Iruma telling him the only things cooler than the king are those entrusted with protecting him. This earned them Sabro's loyalty as he decided to become the Shield that protected the pillars of the Netherworld, prompting Alice to declare himself the Spear that would strike down any enemy, and the two were rivals ever since.

"I still can't believe that idiot still attacked a teacher!" Alice groaned, wondering what could possess anyone to do something that stupid. "What was he thinking?"

"That's what I intend to find out once we track him down." Irumi promised, just as confused about the behavior as her betrothed. In the early days Sabro was a headstrong idiot that often just rushed into any challenge, believing he could just use brute force to solve any problem and trial before being otherwise taught by the teachers that trained him. To go back to those old ways was rather surprising for anyone that knew him. "Now where is he?"

"ASMODEUS!" The two heard, turning to find Sabro marching up to them, or more specifically Alice. "Come to the courtyard! I challenge you, top of the class!" Alice was about to decline until he noticed Sabro winking at him, a secret signal that he wanted to talk in private.

"Forgive me my love. I must do this alone." Asmodeus whispered to Irumi before marching up to Sabro. "Bring it." The larger demon smiled as the pair began walking away, leaving an annoyed Irumi who didn't like being left behind. "So what is this all really about?" He asked using the magic spell of 'Encrypted Speech' allowing multiple people to speak with each other on matters they'd rather keep private.

"The Misfit Class." Sabro answered as they headed for the courtyard of the school. "I've heard from professor Balam that the plan is to put masters Iruma and Irumi into that classroom instead of the Royal One. Lord Delkira wants them to climb up from as close to the bottom as possible and only the really mischievous ones get put there."

"So he wants them to earn the king's classroom. Lord Delkira deeply loves his children, but he's a harsh taskmaster." Alice sighed, remembering some of the king's more harsh lessons that some would think was him attempting to kill his children... and then took them out for cake and ice cream for doing a good job.

"Indeed. I've also already sent a message to lord Iruma about what's happening and the plan. Professor Kalego is to come up with an excuse for why the prince and princess are to be put into the Misfit Class, I decided to make it easier on them." Sabro announced proudly, making Alice sigh at the simplicity and how unnecessary the plan is since lord Sullivan could just say it is that way because. Alice came to the conclusion that the real reason is because Sabro wants another match against him.

"Very well Sabro." Alice conceded, knowing that Sabro would just challenge him in another manner later on anyway. They soon reached the courtyard, full of students expecting a fight. "Did you call them here?" Sabro flashed him a thumbs up and a smile.

(Attention Grabber)

"Yep. This is Lomiere alright." Iruma stated, picking up the scent of hell roses that the Ronove family was fond of having around, overpowering the scent of any other flower. The prince opened the door and was greeted by 1) a giant banner that said 'Welcome Trouble Makers', 2) hundreds of thousands of floral arrangements from baskets, flower lines, and just plain laying around the room's floor, and 3) a single male demon being showered with flower petals from two female demons. The lone male was Lomiere Ronove, a tall skinny demon with long dark hair with symmetrical bangs, a thick armored tail at the base of his spine, and two prominent ribbed horns jutting out of his head. He was wearing a white button-down shirt with a large triangular collar that was opened to reveal his chest, with a pair of black suspenders layered on top with a rose atop his breast. The suspenders were connected to his pants and belt, the belt having white squares on it while the pants flared out at the bottom with a white square imprint over the calves, finishing the outfit were a pair of square heeled dress shoes.

"Greetings! How might you assist this Ronove?!" Lomiere said while his female attendants brought out a lavish couch for him to sit on. The two were wearing custom uniforms a mix of sailor outfit and suit that were rather bland along with their square hairstyles. Lomiere had a low tolerence level for other men touching him if they didn't earn his respect or not getting attention and being out of the spotlight... not in anger. It affects his health... somehow. There are things even the royal family of the Netherworld don't fully understand.

"Ronove, not the time." Iruma said, using encrypted speech. Lomiere kept smiling while snapping his fingers, prompting the two attendants to shut the door, get another lavish chair, and bringing a platter of Hell Grey tea. The prince sat himself down and grabbed his cup before sipping away at its contents.

"So then, how can this Ronove assist you my prince?" The demon asked, using his own encrypted speech.

"Just want to know what's up Lomiere. Why do you have this committee when it and the Student Council essentially fulfill the same role?" Ronove took a sip of his own tea.

"Just in case my lord." The vain demon answered. "Amerie herself agreed to it. This division will handle the punishments given by the Student Council and if we need to put on a spectacle then the two of us can use a dissolution election to distract the entire student body. In case a certain secret is to pop out."

"And any excuse to be showy. Right?" Iruma asked with Ronove letting out a smile and a laugh without denying the accusation. Iruma let out a sigh and took another sip of his tea. "Well, so long as things work out." Just as he finished saying that, a dozen spears smashed through the wall to the courtyard. "Please tell me that's not Sabro." Iruma groaned, running to the hole in the wall to find... Sabro and Alice making a giant mess.

"Come on! The top of the first years shouldn't be so WEAK!" The smith demon shouted, creating a giant steel hammer by biting on a metal tag that hung from his necklace, and bringing it with enough force the building shook while Alice nimbly dodged while taking flight with bat like wings.

"You want power? I'll show you the fire of the Asmodeus line!" The pink haired demon returned, sending multiple explosive fireballs down to the larger demon who created a large shield to weather the attack.

"Pathetic!" Sabro shouted, revealing his own bat wings and creating a large sword and charging after Asmodeus who created a sword of flames to counter.

"How uncouth." Lomiere said, walking up to the prince's side. "And we're trusting our royal majesties to these two?" Iruma said nothing as he grabbed one of the spears that littered the room and charged magic through it while shifting to his more wicked self.

"I'll take care of this." The prince said as he sprouted his feathered wings and flew to above the battling demons. "You two," he growled as the spear started cackling with blue energy, "calm DOWN! LIBERA!" The demon prince roared as he threw the spear, the energy taking the form of an Eastern dragon as it roared and slammed into the ground, creating a large explosion and leaving a big crater in the ground. The two combatants were knocked unconscious from the spell while rest of the students were protected by a sudden magic barrier. "What are you two thinking!?" Iruma scolded as he floated down to the unconscious pair. "Look you two, you can't just and they're out... this won't end well."

"No. It won't." Iruma felt his entire being seize up at the familiar voice, turning around to see the scowling face of Kalego Naberious, one of the two teachers from earlier, and the angry pout of his sister. "Detention. NOW."

(Fragile Inventor)

"Can't believe him. He knows we overdo things in our wicked state." Irumi sighed as she wandered about the outside section of the school, near the back end of the school building, searching for one room in particular. "Let's see... where is that-" A loud explosion sounded off, surprising the princess as a door opened with smoke pouring out of it.

"Another mess up." A soft and light spoke as a figure appeared in the smoke, wearing a male uniform with a white cape with purple cuffs on his ears and a pair of round glasses. The boy's short hair was a shade of turquoise parted down the middle and a beauty mark under his left eye with asymmetrical horns, the one on the right being much bigger than the left. "Here I thought I got it right this ti- IRUMI!?" He shouted in surprise finally noticing the princess. Irumi smiled at the frail demon.

"Hey there, Kirio senpai." Amy Kirio, the son of the Kirio family most known for their powerful barrier magic. Of them, Amy Kirio was considered a failure for his lack of magical power and was practically discarded like trash. He was sent to a special correctional institute called the Demon Children's Garden with the hope that he'd become somewhat worthy of the family name, but it never happened. One day Sullivan brought the twins to the Garden while spinning a false story about them in an effort to convince the children to put in greater effort and to improve. This is when he met the twins who quickly befriended him and showed him the value of creative thinking. He eventually pieced together the truth of who the twins really were and became a close companion ever since. "Have you been taking care of yourself?"

"Yeah, as much as I can that is." Kirio admitted, wobbling a bit from the rush of excitement until Irumi braced him.

"Easy there, I've got you." She said, flashing Amy a smile as she helped him into a room filled with various tools, gadgets, and devices.

"Ah~, your gentle smile is so nice~!" The frail demon sang in delight as she laid him on the ground before giving him a lap pillow and waving a fan on him. "This is great~! I feel so much better now!"

"Just rest Kirio." Irumi gently reminded. "Sorry my brother isn't here. He got in trouble."

"That's rare to hear. Is everything okay?"

"It'll be fine. And you better have those forms ready for when the Rookie Hunt begins." That surprised the resting demon.

"Really? You and Iruma seriously still want to join my battler?"

"Of course!" She said with a giggle. "We think it's great to create new magical apparatus. The hell-phone is an apparatus, game consoles are apparatus, practically everything is an apparatus. The people of this Battler could be responsible for the next great innovation of the Netherworld. The fact that no one respects that is really disappointing, considering how much help it can be."

"My fault really." Kirio said with a sigh. "I haven't come up with anything interesting enough to garner such praise." Irumi leaned down to give her senpai a light kiss on the forehead.

"That's where me and Uma come in to help." She smiled as new life surged through Kirio, causing him to jump to his feet.

"Yes! Let's make this future Battler Party the best the Netherworld has ever seen!"

"Yeah!" Irumi cheered, picking up the battler application forms before leaving her senpai. Once she was gone, Kirio brought his fingers to his ear cuff.

"Yes. Let's make this year's Battler Party memorable." He said with a darker smile.
