Lori #2 went back to her room with Lori #200, and the latter could tell that her roommate was stressed about the Loris with memories of the original Lori Loud roaming around the citadel. But she was getting irritated by this.
"Will you please stop worrying?" Lori #200 said, getting frustrated. "They're just little kids. They won't turn out like those Domed District Loris. They're kind, cuddly and sweet. Like a teddy bear."
"Yeah, but like anything sweet," Lori #2 said, annoyed. "It could end up spoiled. I mean really, how long until we get to "Human Pretzel" threats? Or one of the Child Loris demanding to go first because she's the first clone?"
"Lori!" Lori #200 said, grabbing her roommate by the shoulders. "Calm down! I'm sure it's going to be fine. They're just kids, what are you so worried about?"
"They'll have their confidence shattered!" Lori #2 said, worried. "That they'll be afraid of becoming more like Lori!"
"Then you can help them set a better example!" Lori #200 said, before noticing an Idiot Lori sleeping in her bed. "And maybe the personality clones could help you with that."
"Yeah, right," Lori #2 said, sarcastically. "And maybe Angry Lori could show what to do if the girls have a problem with something and deal with it in a negative way!"
"You know what I meant." Lori #200 said. "And besides, once the interdimensional cloning thing kicks in tomorrow, who knows what Kind of Lori clones we'll get? We could end up getting boy versions of Lori, or heck, maybe a superpowered version of Lori."
"Maybe we could encourage other Lori clones to set examples on what Loris should do.." Lori #2 said, getting an idea.
"We can help you with what?" Idiot Lori awoke, asking.
"Well, can you grab some of the other Loris of different emotion, I would like for you to meet the Child Loris." Lori #200 said, eager. "Except Anger, I'm not so sure that would be a good idea."
"Well, you go ahead and do that, I'm going to check up on the Scientist Loris." Lori #2 said, walking out. Unfortunately, when the door opened, several Lori clones of different personalities ended up filling the room. But that didn't seem to bother Lori #2 as she left.
"Well, don't leave me here with all of this!" Lori #200 said, annoyed.
"Play with me!" Happy Lori #9331 said, giggling.
"You really love being played with, don't you?" Lori #200 said, feeling uncomfortable.
"What do you want to do? Look at cute little puppies?" Happy Lori #100 asks.
"Play with the other Child Loris?" Happy Lori #9 asks.
"This isn't going to be easy." Lori #200 said.
The Scientist Loris were trying to work on the power source, via creation through chemicals, with little to no luck. So far, the Chemicals would ether freeze up, burn, or just simply do nothing. They were clearly frustrated with this.
"NO progress." Scientist Lori #22 sighed. "No matter what we do, the Chemicals are highly unstable."
"Maybe there's an element that we're missing?" Scientist Lori #3 asks, adjusting her glasses.
"It should be able to help with the exoskeleton." Scientist Lori #19 asks. "Osmium would work, right?"
"Are you crazy? Osmium would kill us!" Scientist Lori sighed as she sat in her chair.
"We have to keep trying. Their mission is tomorrow morning."
Lori #2 entered the laboratory, asking, "How's the progress?"
"Nothing has come up yet." Scientist Lori said. "So far, the chemicals have been unstable, freezing up, burning and blow up."
"Come on, really?" Lori #2 said, stunned. Sighing, she decides to change the subject, "So, what's the next cloning process after this?"
"Well, according to this," Scientist Lori #91 said, activating a a holograph screen, showing the types of clones that will be coming to the Citadel. "Tomorrow morning, we will have Loris that are 4 years old, 17 again, 10 years old, 16 years old."
"What if the Citadel gets packed to the brim from the cloning process?" Lori #2 said.
"We've actually thought about that." Scientist Lori said, concerned. "What if we have Bases on uncharted planets with no life anywhere?"
"As in, send other Loris to other parts of the galaxy?" Lori #2 said, surprised.
"Again, it's a working progress!" Scientist Lori said, annoyed. "We also considered sending some of the Lori clones to live on Earth DL-1992. Hopefully, they'll be taken in to loving homes."
Lori #2 shifts her eyes in wonder as she replied, "That does sound nice..." Then she got an alarmed look on her face as she asks, "Wait, what year is it over there?"
"The year in Dimension DL-1992 is 2015 of April." Scientist Lori said, reading the hologram screen. "Earth's champions, the Justice Avengers are defending the planet, they have just gotten rid of 2 gods, one that seeks total dominance and destruction of the universe and one that seeks to make sacrifices in order to balance the universe to HIS liking."
"Good, so the Coronavirus hasn't hit yet." Lori #2 said, relieved. Then, she started to notice something about the technology the Loris had in the citadel. She then started to get an idea, "What if you just use this tech for the exosuits, program it to initiate a self-defense mode, and whatnot?"
"That does seem possible." Scientist Lori said, sarcastically. "But don't we need a power source, WHICH WE DON'T HAVE?!"
"No, I meant build some exo technology or something like that," Lori #2 said, walking to the cabinet, only to see some junk, like tasers, energy blasters, wires. "I mean, make something from this."
"We could try something." Scientist Lori sighed. "Even though it will take all night..."
"I'm sure we can make something out of this," Lori #2 said, grabbing a few wires.
"Wait, why not build fighter ships?" Scientist Lori #39 asks. "If we're not gonna get this done on time, we might as well..."
"Then split into two groups and do that!" Lori #2 said, impatiently.
"Alright." All the scientist Loris said, annoyed as some of them walked out of the lab, only to trip over something,
Two Lazy Loris sleeping in the door way, with 7 Nervous Loris shaking in fear.
"AAH!" Nervous Lori #193 said. "They fell asleep, and we didn't want to get them out of the way and wake them up!"
"It wasn't that hard to wake them up." Scientist Lori #9 sighed, facepalming herself. "You couldn't ask them politely to move out of the way?"
"We couldn't!" The Nervous Loris said, hugging each other, prompting the Scientist Loris sigh in annoyance.
"We have to deal with these personality clones." Lori #2 said, annoyed as well.
"Maybe once the interdimensional clones come along, maybe they can help them." Scientist Lori said, shrugging.
In the domed district, The Loris in there where showing the other Child Loris around the Domed District. Needless to say, the Child Lori clones of the Domed District were curious about everything.
Domed District Lori #2 said, "So what do you think of the Citadel so far?"
"It's so much to take in, where's Mommy and Daddy?" Domed District Child Lori asks.
"It's just us, for now. Rita and Lynn Sr. aren't here."
"So it's all Loris in this...thing...?"
"It isn't all that bad, at least we'll have common ground."
"So what's it like seeing dozens of yourself?"
"It's weird at first, but it's literally flattering, but...kinda creepy. But there's more of you little rascals, so that's adorable."
"Wait, there's more of me?!" Domed District Child Lori #1 asks, curious. "Can I play with them?"
"Not yet." A Lori Clone said, walking by. "The council of Loris would like to have a word with the Domed District Loris and their children."
"That sounded very weird." Domed District Child Lori #1 said, confused.
