A paranormal investigator wasn't the kind of work Blake was thinking of when she left the White Fang, but beggars can't be choosers.

[Great War AU] [Knightfall] It was meant to be a simple mission - destroy the Dust refinery and head back to base. But then she was wounded, and everything changed. Found by the Arc family and taken in to recover, Specialist Cinder Fall finds her loyalties strained as she grows closer to the family who saved her and took her prisoner, particularly Jaune.

Team GRIM and RWBY are back and ready for their second semester at Beacon, but real life doesn't stop there. Between classes and homework, they still have to find time to save the world. Adam Taurus was a monster, a terrorist and a zealot, but now that Blake has become the same he is having second thoughts. Unable to change Blake or the White Fang when he is just as much of a monster, Adam must now embark on a path of redemption to save the girl he loves and his own race from the darkness.

A story that in no way involves the characters of RWBY being thrust into another dimension and viewing many different stories from across the multiverse. Even if that was the setup, it wouldn't center on Jaune Arc, right? That's not what this is all about- this is a classy fanfiction profile. ...Right?

While Team RWBY tries to reconcile with what they learned about Salem from the Relic, Yang makes an interesting observation about their greatest enemy, and her teammates may never be able to look at each other the same way again...

Fate can be cruel, few people can claim it has been kind and fewer still can say they were given a second chance. Pyrrha failed atop the tower, dying at the hands of Cinder Fall, but that's not where it ended. Through means she doesn't understand Pyrrha has been given a second chance.
