Tori began her rehabilitation training, but her training was different compared to the demon slayers that were recently brought in for medical attention. Since she wasn't a demon slayer yet, they had to give her a different kind of training. She did regular house chores and some heavy lifting with certain objects to gain back her arm strength. Her stamina went back to normal as well. Soon she made a full recovery and was ready to meet the master.

Kanae did one final check-up to see if she was ready to go to the pillar meeting that afternoon. Sure enough, her scars were healed and her strength and stamina were back to normal. Tori Kamado was ready for the pillar meeting. Yesterday, she visited the master and reported on Tori's health. She also asked if she could bring Shinobu and Kanao with her. The master agreed to let them come along. Now it was the day of the meeting and Tori was in perfect health. Kanae brought in Tori's old clothes and told her to change while she went to get Shinobu and Kanao.

Shinobu was conducting the rehabilitation training and Kanao was watching so she could do it in Shinobu's place one day. Kanae walked into the training room with a raven on her shoulder. She saw that that training was in full swing. She didn't want to interrupt, but she had to. She clapped loudly and all eyes were on her.

"Nee-san? Shouldn't you and Tori be at the Pillar meeting?" Shinobu questioned, "Why are you still

here?"

"The Pillar meeting isn't until this afternoon. Also I've got orders from the master." Kanae answered,

"All of the demon slayers that are present at headquarters are to come to the Pillar meeting today.

Kanao will be joining us as well."

Shinobu told everyone to get ready for the Pillar meeting. Then she helped Kanao get ready. Meanwhile with Tori, she had just finished getting ready and was styling her hair. Doubts were flooding into her brain like a surge wave that hits before the hurricane. She started to get second thoughts about leaving home. Her braid came undone and she tried to redo it, but her doubts kept causing her to lose focus. Then Kanae knocked on her door and asked to come in. Tori granted her permission to enter and turned to her.

"Are you almost ready, Tori? We don't want to keep the master waiting and he's waited a long time to

meet you." Kanae said, "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Could you help me braid my hair, Kocho-san? Normally I can do it myself, but I'm just not myself

today." Tori asked, "I just don't feel ready for this. I thought I was, but now I'm not so sure."

"Are you having doubts, Tori? It's normal to have them." Kanae explained, "It is a truth that not

everyone is suited to kill demons. It is also a truth that demons were once humans. Killing demons take

real courage and strength, but that's not a problem for you since you've fought two demons before.

Even though you couldn't kill them at the time, it's amazing enough that you were able to fight them.

You even managed to protect your family while doing so. You have to at least be proud of that."

"Yes, I am proud of myself for fighting those demons and protecting my family. I'm proud for how

long I lasted throughout both fights. The whole reason I left my family was to protect them by

becoming a demon slayer. I want to give my youngest siblings a chance at life." Tori replied, "But still,

I wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I left my siblings without an explanation. Tanjiro, I think,

understands why I left even though I didn't tell him. But still, Nezuko's voice echos loudly in my head

and it hurts so much because she didn't know why I was leaving. Now I'm wondering if I can live up to

the expectations of a demon slayer."

"It seems to me that you're nervous. That's what's causing you to have doubts and second thoughts."

Kanae responded, "You can live up to the expectations. We don't expect you to be perfect because no

one is perfect. And I'm sure that it was hard to leave your family. It was a tough decision to make. Now

we may never know if it was the right one, but time will tell if the decision you made was the right one.

You'll do great. I know you will."

"Thank you, Kocho-sama. I really needed to hear that." Tori informed, "Once the meeting gets started,

I think I'll be fine. I hope."

"You'll be just fine. If you can handle yourself against two demons, then that proves that you'll be just

fine." Kanae encouraged, "And please, call me Kanae."

Tori smiled and nodded. Kanae finished braiding Tori's hair and Tori thanked her. They met with the others who were ready to go. They walked out of the mansion and began making their way to the house where the Pillar meetings were always held. When they entered the courtyard, Tori looked around in wonder. She had never seen a place more beautiful in her life. The ground was covered in some kind of stone, there were a few trees and multiple flower beds, and all of it was surrounded by a bamboo fence and a large mansion. She had heard from the whispers about the mansion from the demon slayer, who were staying a the butterfly mansion. This was the house of the Ubuyashiki clan. Tori was distracted by the scenery. She was so distracted by the scenery that she didn't even hear the demon slayers, whom were walking with her, saying some bad things about her. Shinobu shushed them and even scared them by threatening to increase the difficulty of their training the next day.

The demon slayers kept their mouths shut, but they still didn't understand why Tori was at a Pillar meeting. She wasn't even a demon slayer, and she got to go to a Pillar meeting. The Pillars greeted Kanae and they were glad the she and the others made it. Rengoku walked up to to Tori and welcomed her.

"Tori-chan, welcome to the house of the Ubuyashiki family. This is where all of the Pillar meetings are

held. "Rengoku said, "I know you might be nervous, but the head of the family is one of the nicest

people you'll ever meet. He'll observe you as you attempt to unlock your unique breathing style, but he

might want to say a few words first."

Tori nodded her thanks to the Flame Pillar. The other pillars greeted her and introduced themselves to her. She kindly returned the favor by telling her name to them as well. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Giyu standing alone by himself. She ran over to him and she greeted him. Giyu, whom was mostly the stoic and hardly said anything, his face lit up with the emotion of joy to see her. The two of them chatted away and neither of them noticed the surprised expressions of the other Pillars. Sanemi, the Wind Pillar, was also shocked to see Giyu smiling and actually talking to someone. Sanemi rose to the rank of Pillar weeks ago. He was at the meeting that welcomed Giyu Tomioka as the Water Pillar. Giyu was stoic and barely said anything and this made Sanemi paranoid. Now Giyu was actually showing emotion and was talking with someone. He was now even more paranoid because of Giyu's strange personality.

"Who does that guy think he is? One minute, he's standing by himself being stoic and less talkative as

usual. And the next, he's all bright and cheery and talking to someone." Sanemi grumbled, "He's also

talking to a girl none the less. Don't get me wrong, I like Tori, but she's not even a demon slayer. She'

not even a Pillar either, and yet he talks to her?! What is his deal?! He doesn't even talk to us, so why

her of all people?!"

"Giyu is a complicated person, Sanemi. But, he does have his reasons for not talking to us." Kanae

reasoned, "I'm sure that he doesn't mean to be rude, but there may be somethings he doesn't want to

talk about and that may be the reason why he doesn't talk much in the first place. We aren't his boss.

We can't make him talk to us. If he wants to talk, let him talk. If he wants to keep quiet, let him keep

quiet. Besides, Giyu seems to have established a friendship between him and Tori, so let's leave them

be."

Sanemi reluctantly agreed to leave Giyu alone, but his Paranoia didn't fade. He wanted so bad to yell at Giyu for not talking to his fellow Pillars, but he attempted to restrain himself from doing so. Then the master's arrival was announced loudly into the courtyard. It cut through any conversations that were occurring. Giyu heard the announcement and he grabbed Tori's hand and they both kneel-ed down onto the ground as the master walked to the edge of the porch. His oldest daughters stood beside him and they were quiet and looked at all of the demon slayers among them. The master then spoke with the most calm and the gentlest voice.

"My Children, I welcome you. I'm sure that most of you know that today is a very special day." The

master explained, "We have someone, whom is considering to become a demon slayer. Now I'm sure

some of you are wondering why this person didn't just go to a former Pillar to train for the 'Final

Selection.' Well, I'll tell you why. Kyojuro Rengoku and Obanai Iguro have discovered that this person

has a unique breathing style. I ordered them to bring this person here so we could discover what that

unique breathing style is. Now, let us introduce our guest today. Tori Kamado, please come forward."

Tori stood up and she walked to the master. Just hearing his voice made her feel more confident. All of her nervousness vanished when he spoke. The master's voice lacked emotion or any kind of bias, but it was full of power and it made her feel stronger than she actually was. She didn't let her feelings go to her head, however, she kept an open mind. She kept a calm demeanor. She showed little emotion as she stood in front of him. She took a second to look at him. She found that he reminded her of her father. She then bowed respectfully to him and he spoke to her.

"Welcome, Tori. I'm so glad that I finally get to meet you. I am Kagaya Ubuyashiki. I'm the head of

the Ubuyashiki family and I'm also the ninety-seventh leader of the demon slayers. I, officially,

welcome you to the demon slayer headquarters and our humble home. What's ours is yours, so feel free

to go wherever you like."

"Thank very much, sir. Your kindness is much appreciated. I am very honored to be here. It's a pleasure

to meet the head of the Demon Slayers Corps. You have a very lovely home. "Tori said, "I am glad that

I have this opportunity to meet you. My apologies for keeping you waiting."

"Don't worry about it, dear. You weren't in good health then, but now you are in good health. I'm glad

to see you back in full strength. Thank you for the compliment and the pleasure is mine. I'm trilled to

learn more about your unique breathing style. But first, tell me about your family." He said.

"Well, I have six siblings, four brothers and two sisters." Tori replied, "My father is a charcoal

producer, but he is now unable to work in the forge anymore. My father has a disease that is incurable.

His movement is limited, but that doesn't stop him from performing our family ritual."

"Family ritual? Would you mind telling me what this ritual is?" Kagaya asked, "It sounds very

intriguing. I would like to know everything about this ritual of yours."

"Well, it starts from over four-hundred years ago. My ancestor, of that time, received special earrings

from a swordsman. Sumiyoshi was the name of my ancestor. The swordsman had saved his life at one

point and they were friends since then. But when this swordsman returned, he told my ancestor his

story and showed my ancestor and his family the breathing style he used. The name of the swordsman

was Yoriichi Tsugikuni." Tori explained, "After receiving Yoriichi's earrings, Sumiyoshi agreed to pass

on Yoriichi's breath style and that's how the tradition started. Sumiyoshi passed down the breath style

in the form of a dance. This dance is incredibly hard to learn. There are twelve forms in the dance and

they are repeated from sunset to sunrise. Most of the time you're focusing on your breaths and your

movements. It's passed down from father to son. Along with Yoriichi's earrings. We call it "The Dance

of the Fire God." The ritual is performed every new years. I've been told that the dance is offered up to

the "Fire God" to ward off disease and disaster. I know it sounds more like a worship ritual, but I

honestly think that the term "Fire God" is a way to describe Yoriichi. Since it was Yorrichi who

inspired Sumiyoshi to create the ritual anyway. But still, this is the hardest dance to learn. My father

told me that it takes years to learn and master the dance. A human alone doesn't posses the endurance

to dance from sunset to sunrise, but with breaths their endurance increases. And if they work hard and

don't slack off, they can build up the endurance necessary to dance that long. According to my father,

there is a point they have to reach in order to master the dance. Once they reach that point, they must

continue to work at it until the technique is polished. My father said some weird things when I was

younger. He told me about a certain ability that he inherited and learned to perfect. When you reach the

point where your mind gives off no presence, that's when you'll be able to see it. You will gain access

to the "Transparent World." I was only a kid at the time. But when he and I fought a demon, that's

when I understood what he was talking about. He gave off no murderous intent. In fact, he gave off no

emotion at all. But when he fought the demon, he was so fast that I couldn't follow his movements.

And he came out of that fight without a single scratch. He seemed to know when the right moment to

strike was. That's when I realized what the Transparent World was. It's a place where you can see right

through your opponent. You can see their muscle contractions and the structure of their body. It's easy

to pin point the weakness of your opponent with this skill. Also it seems like time has slowed down

when you enter the Transparent World, but the reality is that you're moving faster than the eye can see.

While it is a useful skill to have, this skill must constantly be worked and polished. If you don't, it will

feeling it is taking you to your limit. After you perfect this skill, you'll master the dance at a more rapid

pace. My father said that the transparent world is essential to master the dance. Since my brother,

Tanjiro, is the eldest son in the family, he'll inherit the earrings and he'll have to perform the dance in

the place of my father. He may inherit the ability to access the Transparent World. That's what I know

about my family's ritual. I don't know all of the details, but this is most of what I know about it."

Everyone was in shock by her explanation. They couldn't believe that she knew all of this. Her family history and what it took to master the dance. Even lower ranking demon slayers were completely shocked by this information. The master, however, seemed very intrigued by her families ritual. He spoke to her once more.

"Thank you for sharing this information. But may I ask, how is it that you know so much about your

family history?" Kagaya asked, "I find it very interesting."

"I've been reading the journals my ancestors wrote." Tori answered, "Whenever I wasn't working, I

was reading the journals. Sumiyoshi's journal, however, were scrolls so I made a book version of it.

Although there are missing words because on the scroll, some of the words were smudged. Hopefully, I

can figure out the missing words."

"I see. So you're currently learning about the history of your family by reading the written records left

by them?" The master inquired, "Do you have written records that go back to thousands of years ago?"

"Unfortunately, I don't. The written records stop at Sumiyoshi's childhood." Tori continued, "It seems

that calligraphy was discovered as Sumiyoshi was growing up. On the other hand, it could be that the

rest of my ancestors just didn't write anything."

"I see. So tell me about your breath style. I've been waiting to learn more about your breath style."

Kagaya informed, "I want to know every detail about it."

"Well, I honestly don't know much about it. I only just learned that I could use breaths. It's not like I

can just tell you what it is and how it works." Tori replied, "That knowledge isn't available to me at the

moment. What I can tell is that from what Rengoku saw, I apparently have the characteristics of a bird.

Then just a week before I left home I-"

Her sentence was cut off when a bunch of ravens flocked around her. Everyone was surprised at this. They had never seen so many ravens flock around one person, but all of the demon slayers present were able to recognize their assigned raven. The ravens covered her arms, one raven perched one her head, and the last two were perched on her hands. The master and his family were surprised that the ravens seemed to like her. The master was very intrigued by this event. Tori asked the ravens to go back to their assigned demon slayer and they listened. This only only interested the master even more.

"Forgive me, Ubuyashiki-san. Ravens started to flock around me a week before I left home." Tori

explained, "I don't know why though. No other kind of bird comes near. It only the ravens that flock

around me."

"It might have something to do with your breath style. Certain breath styles give you certain abilities

relating to the breath style itself." Ubuyashiki responded, "And don't apologize, Tori. This actually

intrigues me. None of the ravens have ever flocked around one person before, so this is an interesting

turn of events."

Tori ever so quietly sighed in relief, however, she heard the lower ranking snickering to each other and they whispered on how Tori was a freak because of the ravens. She paid them no mind as the master wasn't offended for what happened with the ravens. She waited to hear the master's next question. Kagaya then spoke.

"Let's try and see if you can unlock your breathing style. We need to figure out and learn more about

your unique breathing style." The master suggested, "I'm going to have you duel one of the Pillars.

You're not expected to win the fight. The fight is only to help you unlock your breath style. Now to the

matter of who your opponent will be, I had a massive debate on whether Sanemi or Giyu would be a

good opponent for you. I ultimately realized that Sanemi has been a Pillar longer than Giyu has and he

can tend to go a little overboard with certain things, so I chose Giyu to be your sparring partner. You'll

fight with wooden swords instead of real swords. Try not to hurt each other."

Tori was a bit nervous about fighting against a Pillar, but she was glad that she was fighting Giyu. She heard the lower ranking demon slayers whispering to each other on how petite and weak Tori was and they kept saying that she'd be crushed big time, but she noticed that one of the lower ranking demon slayers wasn't talking at all. She grabbed the wooden sword and started walking towards the zone where she and Giyu would fight. When she walked by them, she heard them say that she was just a weakling like her father. This hit her hard. Giyu and all of the other Pillars heard this and were shocked. Even the master was concerned about Tori because of what they said. She gave them an icy glare to show her anger, bitterness, and resentment. When they saw her glare, they were UN-phased by it. Then the one demon slayer, whom was smart enough to keep his mouth shut, scolded them and told them that she heard everything that they were saying. They then showed that they didn't care if she heard or not. One of the demon slayers stood up and boasted asking what could she do to stop them, but he soon found that he was face to face with her icy-cold gaze. She held him by the collar of his uniform and he saw the anger, bitterness, and resentment in her eyes. He also saw that she had been hiding it inside her the whole time. He immediately regretted everything he said.

"If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all! And if I hear anyone talk down about my

father again, you won't like me afterwards." She said bitterly, "Now sit down and behave yourself.

Didn't anyone teach you any manners? Also keep your mouth shut if you know what's good for you."

She pushed him back into a sitting position and walked away, but not before apologizing to the master for her little outburst. Ubuyashiki told her that he didn't mind as she showed him that she could handle bullies on her own. Then she moved on and she turned to Giyu and asked him not to hold back on her. Giyu was surprised at this request, but he honored it. The took their positions and they got ready to begin the duel. Tori first took in deep breaths to cool her anger, bitterness, and resentment.

Then the battle started. Tori leaped forward and then she surprised everyone by leaping high into the air. She then hovered in the air for a full five minutes. While she did so, she analyzed Giyu very closely. Then she came down towards Giyu and she spiraled while still in midair. Giyu put his sword and arms up to block the incoming attack. Tori despite her light weight she came down hard. When her sword made contact with Giyu's sword, Giyu struggled as she was heavier than she should be. He slipped and almost fell down. When he regained his footing, he tried to push her back. Giyu, however, didn't even realize that he was actually fighting the force of gravity just to push her back. He pushed her back. Tori flew backwards through the air, but she righted herself very quickly. She back flipped and now she was right side up. She landed gracefully on her feet. There was a standstill between the two. They both didn't move and they just stared at each other. On the other hand, Giyu was panting heavily. Pushing Tori back seemed to take a lot out of him. This shocked everyone who was watching.

"How did she do that?" Shinobu asked, "There's no way that she could've done that. She literally just

defied gravity."

"I don't think any of us know the answer to that question, Shinobu." Kanae answered, "Kyojuro-san is

right. Tori-san does have the characteristics of a bird."

"Wait! The ravens might know what happened or how she stayed in the air for a full five minutes."

Mitsuri Kanroji said, "Can you tell us how Tori hovered in the air like that?"

"I most certainly can, Kanroji-san." Her raven answered, "If you watched Tori closely, you would've

seen that when she leaped into the air her haori caught an updraft. Tori, however, is a human and

humans can't fly like us ravens and other birds. So to make up for that, Tori has a skill that no one has

ever seen before. We ravens have observed humans very closely and no other human alive posses the

skill she has. Tori can cut off all ties to gravity and that allows her to stay in the air for a full five

minutes, however she can't maintain it. Once gravity takes over, she free falls down towards the

ground. Tori has improved it to make it a powerful weapon. She used the force of gravity to her

advantage. Since gravity was acting on her, she was heavier than she was supposed to be. Then when

Giyu tried to push her back, he was literally fighting against gravity. That's what has made him tired at

this point. Tori has excellent recovery skills because she back flipped in midair and landed gracefully

on her feet. She has excellent skill despite the fact that she's never held a sword before."

"Indeed. Thank you for the information." Mitsuri replied, "It was helpful. Now we can understand

Tori's fighting style a little better."

All attention was soon on the battle field. Giyu charged towards Tori, but she didn't move from her spot. She waited for the right moment. When Giyu was about to swing his sword to finish of the fight, Tori skillfully dodged by being light on her feet. She used her superior agility to dodge all of Giyu's attacks. When Giyu struggled to follow her movements, Tori went in for the attack. She charged back at him. Giyu could barely block the attack in time. He pushed her back and continued to attack, but Tori would keep finding ways to dodge and attack at the same time. When Giyu swung his sword towards her neck, she bent backwards completely and the sword missed her. Then she kicked her legs up and back over and she was on her feet again. Giyu now had the be careful. Tori was using her body as a weapon. The battle continued on as Giyu continued to attack and Tori dodging by using her flexibility and agility. She pulled off many surprises which threw Giyu off guard every time. When Giyu was off guard, she attacked. Giyu, however, somehow was still able to block her. At least, he's only barely able to block her. As the fight progressed, Tori seemed to be getting stronger. Giyu could feel that her breath style was about to be unleashed. Sure enough, that's what was about to happen. Something in Tori's mind clicked and the knowledge of her breath style was available to her. She learned that their are two known forms in her breathing style. She decided to use the second form, because the first form was a go for the kill form. Then she took in a large breath. Then she whispered "Total Concentration, Breath of the Raven: Second Form: Feather fall gems of darkness." No one heard it. Not even Giyu heard it. Then all of a sudden a giant raven appeared and flew over them. It's feathers fell onto the battle field and red gems appeared on the ground. Soon the whole place started to darken. All eyes were on Tori now that the breathing style was in action. Tori then ran forward. Her speed and agility was increased by a lot. But soon, Giyu couldn't tell where she was going to attack from because Tori was appearing in all possible directions. Giyu continued to focus on the front and the sides of him he didn't focus on the area behind him. Even all the Pillars, lower ranking demon slayers, and Kanao were watching the front. Ubuyashiki, however, was watching the area behind Giyu. Sure enough, Tori was walking slowly up to Giyu from behind. Giyu wasn't even looking behind him because he didn't think to. Then when Tori reached him, she pulled off a low sweep and knock Giyu off of his feet. Giyu hit the ground and looked up when a wooden sword was pointed at him. He saw Tori and he smiled accepting the defeat. The darkness cleared and the gems disappeared. Tori helped Giyu back up onto his feet. The Pillars cheered and clapped for Tori's victory, but the lower ranking demon slayers were questioning on how she did that.

"Well done, Tori. That was the most exciting battle I've ever seen." Kagaya praised, "You fought very

well. Despite the fact that you've never held a sword before, you still fought admirably. How did you

do it?"

"Well, I prefer to with my brain instead of my brawn and it clearly paid off." Tori explained, "By

fighting in that way, I was able to achieve my goal. And that goal is learning my breath style. I didn't

think I'd be able to beat Giyu, but it didn't turn out like I expected."

"Why didn't you just charge in head on like anyone else would do?" Asked a lower ranking demon

slayer.

"First off there are many reasons why you shouldn't fight head to head with an opponent who has more

experience than you do." Tori reprimanded, "Brute strength alone will get you nowhere. If you charge

at your opponent head on, they already have an advantage over you and will knock you down before

you have the chance to attack them. So it's better to play it smart."

After explaining her methods, the master now had to choose who would be her mentor. The master struggled to decide her mentor, but then he decided to give her more than one mentor. Giyu would help to teach her the basics on how to hold a sword and proper technique, Rengoku would help her with speed, Kanae and Shinobu would help her with her breaths, Iguro would help her with stealth, and Gyomei would help her with strength. With her mentors decided he told her his decision and she agreed with it. He told her that she would stay with Kanae because she was familiar with the place. The master said a few more words and then he dismissed the meeting. Everyone went home and the lower ranking demon slayers were now quiet because Tori had shown them that she was not weak like they had assumed. Shinobu, however, was not pleased by their behavior and was ready to punish them.

When they arrived at the Butterfly Mansion, Shinobu brought the lower ranking demon slayers into the training room. She immediately started to scold them. Tori walked in wondering what all of the commotion was. She saw Shinobu scolding the lower ranking demon slayers about their behavior at the Pillar meeting. Then it came down to their insult at Tori. Shinobu was furious that they insulted not only Tori's family, but Tori herself. Shinobu could tell that Tori was angry, bitter, and resentful. She didn't blame her for it because Shinobu, herself, would've had those same emotions. Tori walked over to them and Shinobu was still yelling at them about insulting Tori the way they did. She then threatened to punish them for their behavior.

"Shinobu, you don't have to punish them. I'm fine now." Tori said, "There's no need to punish them

after the show I gave them earlier"

"But, Tori, they insulted you and your family. Even after I told them to keep their mouths shut, they

proceeded to talk bad about you. I'm not going to let them get away with that unpunished." Protested,

Shinobu.

"Yes they insulted me by comparing me with my father. I will admit that did hurt… A lot." Tori

explained, "But it's okay now, there's no need to punish them. I've handled bullies before. Usually if I

lash out at bullies once, they don't bother me after that. All it takes is for me to get mad once and they

leave me alone. If you're still going to punish them, I would recommend that you let this one off the

hook. He didn't talk almost the entire time while we were at the meeting. The only time he did was to

get these guys to shut their mouths. It's not his fault they didn't listen to him. Besides, I'm over it now."

"Alright, I'll let him off the hook. But the rest of them will be receiving intense rehabilitation training

tomorrow!" Shinobu announced, "But if they had apologized to you after you lashed out, they could've

gotten out of it. Unfortunately, they missed the chance and now they have to endure the training until

they've learned their lesson. They have to prove to you that their sorry."

"Okay then, I'll leave you to it. I'm gonna go and start dinner." Tori informed, "Have fun!"

Tori left and went to the kitchen. She started to cook dinner for her, Kanae, Shinbo, and Kanao. She was making a stew her mother had shown her how to make. Kanao poked her head around the corner and she watched Tori cooking in the kitchen. Kanao could really see Tori's past through her eyes. Couple hours later Tori finished cooking and she set the table. Kanae and Shinobu came in with Kanao in tow. All four of them sat at the table. Tori, Kanae, and Shinobu started eating. Kanao, however, didn't eat and she just sat their and started at the food in front of her. Tori paused when she saw Kanao not eating. She then put her hand on Kanao's shoulder and beckoned her to eat. Promising her that she's like the stew and the other bowls of food in front of her. Kanao looked into Tori's kind eyes and warm emotions flooded over her and she ate without a second thought. Kanao was surprised on how delicious the food was. They all finished everything that was provided for them. Tori then decided to turn in for the night. Kanae showed Tori to her room. Tori settled into bed and she began thinking about tomorrow. She was ready to start her training.

Tori didn't know how well her training would go, but she was determined to start and finish her training so she could become a demon slayer. Tori would let nothing stand between her and the future for her younger siblings. Tori was determined to protect her family at any cost.

Author's note:

This is the longest chapter I've ever written. I thank everyone for being patient and waited for this chapter to come out. So I have a fun fan activity for you. Now that you've gotten this far, you should already know about Tori's breath style. I could only come up with two forms for it. So I need your help to come up with more forms for Tori's breath style. Choose a number on how many forms you want to see. The numbers are going to be in between six and sixteen. Then after I've chosen the set number write down names for the forms and give descriptions of what Tori is doing to perform it and what the purpose of the form is. By purpose I mean attack, defense, diversion, or evasive. Write all of this in the review section. I'll go through and pick my favorites and put them in a separate document and in upcoming chapters I'll pick one and use at as she learns the new form and builds on her breath style. I'll use the rest. Also write the number of forms you want in the review section. Remember that the names have to relate to ravens or to the nature of ravens. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter because I enjoyed writing it. I did have a couple of road blocks, but hopefully I'll be able to get more chapters out after Wednesday. I'm almost out of school, but I'm going to be scrambling to get my work done. So expect nothing from me until the end of the week if not sooner.

Fun Facts:

Shinobu is twelve years old in this story. The math behind this is that in the anime/manga, Shinobu is 18. Tanjiro is two year younger than her. Tori, however, is six years older than Tanjiro, but she four years older than Shinobu. See if you can figure out the math.
