On the morning of the next day, Tori was up early making a quick breakfast. She then got ready to head over to Giyu's place. She got on her training clothes and she did her hair. She drank an herbal tea to calm her mind, so she could focus on what Giyu would be teaching her. Once she let the effects of the tea sink in, she got up and started to head for the door. Kanae and Giyu were waiting outside for her. Tori hoped she hadn't kept Giyu waiting long. Giyu and Kanae saw Tori make her way down to them.

Kanae, waving her hand to Tori, said, "Tori-chan, I'm glad to see that you're awake and ready to go."

Tori smiled as she walked up to them and she replied, "Thank you, Kanae-san."

Then she looked over at Giyu and she said, "I hope I didn't keep you waiting long, Giyu-san."

Giyu, admiring how adorable Tori looked in the training clothes that Kanae gave her, responded,

"Don't worry, I got here about five minutes ago. I haven't been waiting long."

Tori was relieved a little bit knowing that Giyu hadn't been waiting long, however she was going to make sure she was ready when he picked her up next time. After saying her goodbyes to Kanae, she left to start training with Giyu. Giyu noticed something different in Tori's behavior as they made their way to his house. She didn't talk as much as he hoped she would. They were becoming close enough that they could tell that something was wrong. He hoped that it would change as they started training. Once they arrived at Giyu's house, the intense training began. Tori began writing a journal, so she could review and practice everything that Giyu taught her about proper sword technique. She wrote down his every word and she sketched every stance and form he showed her. Then Tori practiced what she learned and she quickly developed the technique. Giyu was definitely surprised that she learned the technique so fast. Then he gave her a break for working so hard.

Then Giyu noticed that Tori's mood seemed to lighten up as he expected and he saw her flipping through the pages in the book that she was holding. Giyu was interested in the book and decided to ask her about it. Sitting down next to her, but not very close so that she would be uncomfortable. Looking over at her, he broke the silence between them.

"What are you reading?" He asked, "Your book looks interesting."

"It's my journal. I'm writing down everything that I learn as I train to be a demon slayer." Tori

answered, "I want to keep it as a future reference, so I can long back on the things I've learned.

Although, I have another motive for writing this journal..."

"What other motive do you have that is beckoning you to write a journal?" Giyu questioned.

"It starts just last night. I had a very vivid dream." Tori explained, "I saw my brother, Tanjiro, in a

demon slayer uniform. He had an insane hair cut, which suited him quite well. Then he was wearing a

wooden box on his back. I, honestly, don't see any reason for him to become a demon slayer. But if he

does, I won't stop him."

"So your writing the journal for him?" Giyu inquired, "You're preparing for when Tanjiro becomes a

demon slayer?"

"Yes. I'm preparing for that moment." Tori confirmed, "I want him to use my experiences to help him

along his journey."

Giyu smiled at how considerate Tori was. He wanted to be the same if Tanjiro joined the demon slayers. After the break, they continued to train. Tori sparred with Giyu and continued to practice good sword technique. Soon she mastered the basics and Giyu saw that she was ready for the next level.

After two weeks of training, Tori mastered the art of proper sword technique. Now she was ready to move on to the next level of training. She would be working on her breaths and building up her speed. She first trained with Shinobu and Kanae. Writing in her journal, she documented every word that Kanae said so she could review it for future reference. Kanae taught her about "Total Concentration Breathing." Within days, Tori mastered the technique. They halted her training for the next level of breathing till after Final Selection. They then got ready to spar with her to test her on what she had learned so far, however, they moved it to the next day. They went to the market to get ingredients for dinner.

While in the market place, Tori saw a familiar lower ranking demon slayer approaching her. She knew there was going to be trouble, but she acted like she didn't know anything. The lower ranking demon slayer came over and said to Tori,

"Hey, Tori-san, I wanted to apologize for my behavior towards you at the pillar meeting awhile back.

I'm really sorry. The other boys want to apologize too, but they're to shy to come up and talk to you.

So I was wondering if you could come over to and then they can apologize?"

Tori could already tell that he was lying, but to make him think that she wasn't catching on to him she faked a smile and replied cheerfully,

"Sure I'll come over, but only for a short minute."

"Thank you, Tori. This won't take long at all." The demon slayer responded.

He led her to where his friends were and a devious smile crossed his and he said within his mind,

This is going to be so easy. She actually believes that we're apologizing to her. Well she'll be in for a big surprise when we get to the alleyway.

However, Tori knew he was leading her to trouble. She was only pretending to not be expecting it. She saw the alleyway and she already was able to guess what he and his friends were going to do. They were going to attempt to rape her. Tori, on the other hand, put a slight smirk on her face. She was going to surprise them and she would turn the tables on them.

When they arrived, he made her go in first. As soon as Tori saw the other two boys, she pretended to be surprised and not know what was going on. Then she turned around and the demon slayer pushed her to the ground.

When the fourth member of the group saw Tori on the ground surrounded by his friends, he ran to find Kanae or Shinobu. He managed to find them as they were wondering where Tori went. He told them that he knew where Tori was and that she needed help. He began leading them to her location.

Meanwhile, Tori was begin held down by the first boy. She was still keeping up her act to make them think that they outsmarted her, but she was waiting for the right moment to strike without warning. The other boys began approaching to start the process. Tori then fell silent and she didn't move. Her eyes were closed and she had no expression on her face. It looked like she had fallen asleep. The boys immediately stopped. They were confused as to why she was asleep when they were about to do something horrible to her.

"She's asleep?" One demon slayer asked, "Why is she so calm?"

"This is too easy. She should've put up a much bigger fight than this." The second one said, "She

shouldn't be giving up this easily. It's to be expected if she's been training with the pillars."

"Who cares? Let's just get on with it." The third one yelled, "She's making easy for us."

The other two demon slayers were not so sure about her sudden calmness, but they walked forward. Then when they looked at her a second time, they saw a smile across her face. This made them even more confused. The demon slayer that was still holding Tori down told them to proceed. But then suddenly, she began releasing a breath that she seemed to have withheld the minute she went silent. The two demon slayers backed up expecting her to lash out. Sure enough, Tori struck without warning. She pushed back against the demon slayer trying to hold her down. The demon slayer was shocked and wondered where she was getting all the extra strength from. He managed to get the upper hand get, but she suddenly bent backwards and she kicked over. The demon slayer trying to restrain her fell over and Tori landed with her on top of him. He struggled to get up, but she held him down firmly to the ground. With anger being plainly seen in Tori's eyes, the demon slayer she was holding down didn't dare make a sound. Then Tori broke her silence.

"You three are so gullible! Did you really think I wouldn't know what you're up to?!" Tori said, "I

knew you were lying the minute you opened your mouth. I was on to your little plan the moment I saw

the alleyway. And you really thought I was that dumb?! As if! I only pretended to not know what was

happening and it seems that I'm so good at acting because you actually believed that I really didn't

know what was going on! And you call yourselves 'Demon Slayers,' please! How many demons have

you even defeated?! If you can bully a girl this easily, then killing demons should be a cinch for you!

You should spend more time killing demons than trying to bully me around."

"We're so sorry, Tori! Please forgive us!" Pleaded the two demon slayers who did nothing to help their

friend, "We never wanted to participate, but he forced us to. Please, Tori-san, don't hurt us!"

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you two. This one, on the other hand, should receive a harsh punishment.

That, however, is something that I cannot give." Tori replied, "But I know who can give you a harsh

punishment."

Then Kanae and the others arrived. Shinobu called out to Tori, but she couldn't see her. They waited for Tori to either show herself or respond to Shinobu's voice. Then Tori came out of the shadows with two familiar demon slayers. Shinobu started to get angry, but Tori told her not to get angry at the two demon slayers next to her. Then the third one tried to take down Tori again, but she stepped out of the way and he fell forward. Tori tells Shinobu that she can mad at him all she wants. They took him to see the master, but he wouldn't be punished until tomorrow. Tori, however, didn't mind this because she was taking her training exam tomorrow anyway, so she decided to focus on that rather than worry about the boy.

She began to help make dinner and then she cleaned up the kitchen. Kanao was watching Tori as she was finishing up her chores. Then Tori sat down and she opened her journal. Kanao continued to watch Tori. Even though she didn't show much emotion, it was clearly obvious that she was curious on what Tori was doing. Tori then studied everything she had learned so far. Afterwards, she took out some paint and two sheets of paper. She painted a picture of her and her family. Kanao just continued to watch Tori until she was done with the painting. She cleaned up the paint and she left her picture to dry. She then moved it out of the way and she opened up her journal to an empty page. Tori then began writing in her journal about her experiences with her training. She paused and looked towards the doorway and saw Kanao watching her. Tori smiled.

"Come here, Kanao," Tori said softly to the young girl, "Come sit with me."

Without even flipping her coin that Kanae gave her, Kanao walked over to Tori and sat down next to her. Kanao then watched as Tori finished up writing in her journal and she saw that Tori was addressing her brother in the entry that she was writing. Tori then closed her journal and she moved it aside and she turned to Kanao.

"What are you doing up so late?" Tori asked, "Can you not sleep or are you curious about what I'm up

to?"

"I wanted to see what you were doing, Tori-sama." Kanao replied, "I was interested in what you were

doing."

"I'm just studying and writing in my journal, but I was also painting a picture of me and my family."

Tori responded, "Nothing exciting to be honest."

"What is your family like, Tori-san?" Kanao inquired, "Are they nice?"

"They are the nicest people you'll ever meet, Kanao." Tori informed, "You'd like them a lot. We

never had the easiest life, but we were happy. We all pitch in to help each other survive. Life can

change in an instant like the weather. When something bad happens, you have to move forward no

matter how devastating the blows may be. I helped my mother with the chores and took care of my

father as he was sick and getting weaker gradually. Then I looked after my younger siblings. I helped to

keep them fed and out of trouble. Honestly, everything was perfect for us."

"But why give all that up, Tori-san?" Kanao questioned, "Why would you give up such a perfect life?"

"I gave it all up because, I wanted to protect my family." Tori explained, "They were attacked by a

demon twice. I won't let it happen again."

Tori then reached out and grabbed the picture she painted and she framed it up. Then both she and Kanao looked at it. Kanao saw Tori's whole family. Then she stumbled upon a boy who looked about her age. She felt some kind of attraction to the boy. Tori notice Kanao's interest and she smiled.

"That boy that you're looking at, his name is Tanjiro." Tori said, "He's my younger brother and the

second oldest of the family. You'd like him, Kanao. He's a hard worker and is very kind and generous. I

think you two would get along extremely well."

Kanao had a strange feeling that Tori was right. She actually did like him, but she wanted to wait until she was old enough to marry and she wanted to meet him in person. Tori and Kanao continued to talk and observe the painting and a question popped into Kanao's head.

"Tori-san, will I ever get to meet Tanjiro in person?" Kanao asked, "If he's back at your old home, I

don't think I'll get to see him that often. I don't think we'll be able to form a relationship either if it

turns out that way."

"Let me tell you something, Kanao." Tori answered, "I had a vivid dream once. It was just before I

began training with Giyu. I saw Tanjiro in a demon slayer's uniform and he had a hair cut. I also

noticed that he was wearing a wooden box on his back. I think that my brother will be joining the

demon slayer ranks one day. So, yes, I do think you will be able to meet him."

Kanao really hoped that she would get to meet Tanjiro because she really took a liking to him. Tori then took Kanao to bed and tucked her in. Kanao then smiled opening up to the warmth of Tori's big sister personality. This would be the first emotion that she would ever feel for the first time. Tori then went to her own room and went to sleep. She had a big day tomorrow and she needed to be ready.

The next morning, Tori woke up and helped Kanae and Shinobu make breakfast. While the main meal was cooking, Kanae and Shinobu put the side dishes on the table. Tori, however, started to make her signature herbal tea to help her focus on training that day. Kanae noticed Tori making something extra and she went over to see what she was making. Kanae was about to ask Tori about what she was making, but the main meal was finished so she had to go take it off the stove and put it on the table. Then Tori placed her teapot on the stove and began warming the herbal tea. Kanae then walked back over to Tori as the tea had just finished heating up. Kanao came over as well because she also wanted to know what Tori was up to.

"What are you making, Tori?" Kanae asked, "It smells really good."

"It's an herbal tea. I make it every morning to increase my focus and concentration." Tori replied, "I

made extra if you and Shinobu want some, but I would refrain from giving some to Kanao until

tonight."

"Why do you say that, Tori-kun?" Kanae questioned, "Why can't we give her some now?"

"The herbs that I use in the tea are really strong and they might make Kanao really sleepy." Tori

explained, "I don't want Kanao to ruin her healthy sleeping schedule."

"Oh okay. I understand now. That's actually a good idea then." Kanae responded, "I guess you're

getting ready for your exam today. Rengoku-san is going to be watching as well because you're going

to be training with him next. He wants to see if you're ready for his level of training. I've also granted

permission to those two other boys to watch your exam if that's alright with you."

"That's fine. I don't mind if they watch." Tori answered, "I hope I pass the exam. I'd like to start

working on my speed training right away."

Kanae smiled and the offered encouragement to Tori. Then Tori poured the herbal tea into a cup and they went to sit at the table. They ate breakfast and Tori drank her herbal tea and began to study everything she had learned so far once more. Then she went out to the training yard. There she saw Giyu and Rengoku both talking with Kanae. Kanae explained that Giyu would spar with her to test her on what she had learned so far. Then the spar started. Tori already showed a lot of improvement within her technique. Her breaths helped her increase in strength, speed, and agility. Rengoku was surprised at how quickly Tori was learning and knew she was ready to start her speed training. Giyu faced another defeat, but he didn't mind it. He saw that Tori was improving and was almost ready for Final Selection. Kanae then declared that Tori passed and that she was ready to start training with Rengoku.

Tori then had a chat with Giyu after the exam. Rengoku soon joined them as he informed Tori that her technique was just about perfect for Final Selection so they wouldn't do much to increase her speed before then. Her speed training would resume after Final Selection. Tori understood that she was reaching an ideal level for Final Selection. This meant that she wouldn't need much improvement in her technique. Then Tori looked over to see Shinobu approaching with four young girls that the Kocho sisters recently took in. Tori smiled upon seeing the young girls, but she knew that they were nervous about being in a place that they were not familiar with. Shinobu came over to Tori and the Three pillars as Kanae was just now joining the conversation.

"Have I missed the exam?" Shinobu asked, "I hope I didn't. I really want to see Tori's progress."

"Sorry, dear sister. The exam ended a while ago." Kanae said, "I'm afraid you missed it."

Shinobu was now in shock and then she looked down hiding her sad expression. She had been looking forward to this day only to miss it entirely. Tori felt bad that Shinobu had to miss the exam, so she discussed something with Giyu and he nodded his head in agreement. Then she turned to Shinobu with a smile on her face.

"How about this: Giyu and I will spar again and demonstrate what a training session is like?" Tori

suggested, "This way it'll as if you hadn't missed anything and the girls can see the effort that is put in

to training new demon slayers."

Shinobu looked up in surprise. Tori was actually willing to spar again and demonstrate her progressing strength for her.

"What a splendid idea! Then Shinobu can see how much stronger you've gotten!" Rengoku praised,

"I'd love to watch another round!"

"I'd have to agree. As long as it makes Shinobu feel better, I don't mind one bit." Kanae agreed. "Good

luck to the both of you."

Tori and Giyu went to the center of the training yard preparing for another round of sparring. They both charged in and fought valiantly. Shinobu saw first-hand how much Tori had improved. Tori's breaths were now more refined and polished and her proper sword technique was on point. Not only that, but her speed, strength, and her agility were increased. It looked like she only needed a few more training sessions and she would be ready for Final Selection. The new girls watched with sheer amazement. Tori and Giyu were so fast and decisive with their attacks and they both were very powerful. Although Giyu lost the fight again, he really didn't mind losing to Tori. Giyu, however knew he still had to train and get stronger. The girls ran up to Tori and Giyu inspired by their sheer strength and power. Kanae and Rengoku praised both Giyu and Tori for their display of strength.

Later that night, everyone celebrated Tori passing her exam. They made a big feast. Tori added in traditional foods that she made for her family and her signature herbal tea. The kitchen was busier than it had been in years. Kanae taught Aoi how to cook a certain dish, while Shinobu and Tori made the other meals and side dishes. Rengoku and Giyu were invited to stay for dinner, to which they accepted. Tori then came out of the kitchen and headed off to the house of Kanroji Mitsuri. When Tori arrived she saw that Obanai Iguro was over having dinner with Mitsuri. They looked and saw Tori walking up and Mitsuri waved to her.

"Tori-san! What a nice surprise! How are you today?!" Mitsuri said, "What brings you to my humble

home on this lovely evening?!"

"Hi Kanroji-san, Iguro-san. I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Tori replied. "I'm doing fine and I'm

just here to gather some nectar from the flowers in your garden."

"Are you out already?! Well help yourself! Take as much as you want Tori-san!" Mitsuri responded,

"Also call me Mitsuri from now on okay?"

Tori nodded and began carefully extracting the nectar from the flowers. She filled many small jars, so that way she would be stocked up on it for awhile. Once she finished, she then turned and bowed respectfully and she started to walk back. But then, Iguro called out to her.

"Tori! How is your training coming along?!" He asked, "Are you almost ready for Final Selection?! We

need you to get through Final Selection so we can further your training."

"My training is coming along great, Iguro-san. I just finished my training with Kanae and Shinobu. I'm

starting my training with Rengoku tomorrow." Tori answered, "Rengoku says that I'm almost at the

ideal level for Final Selection."

"Well color me impressed! That's amazing Tori-kun. Keep it up and you'll be a demon slayer in no

time!" Iguro praised. "I'm glad that your training is going well."

Tori nodded her thanks and she waved to them as she headed back to the butterfly mansion. When she returned she immediately went to the kitchen and finished up the herbal tea and her traditional meals for the feast. When they were done, she helped to place the food on the table. The tea boiled and she poured everyone a cup. Everyone then began to gather at the table. They said their grace and they each dug into the feast. Rengoku was the first to express how much he loved the food. Everyone then started to join in on expressing how good the food was. Everyone ate their fill and then they all tried the herbal tea that Tori made. They all were amazed by the sweet taste. They couldn't even taste the bitter herbs or tea-leaves. They tried to get Tori to tell them how to make it, but she refused to give up her family recipe. After everyone finished eating, the girls cleaned up the kitchen and washed the dishes. Then they bid their farewells to Giyu and Rengoku. Just as he was about to leave, Rengoku told Tori that he would pick her up early tomorrow. Tori then nodded and she waved him and Giyu goodbye. She also reminded Giyu to train harder and not slack off because she wanted him to beat her for once. Giyu smiled and he ever-so slightly blushed. There was no doubt for him that Tori was going to fit right in. Then the girls went back inside and they all got ready for bed. Tori, after changing into her night clothes, went back to the kitchen and she pulled out her journal. She began to write another entry.

Tori wrote: My dearest brother, Tanjiro. I've passed my training exam today and we had a big celebration for my success. Tomorrow I will begin my training with the flame pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku. You've met him before. He came to save our family from the demons that attacked. Although, we never really got the chance to get to know him. But since I've been here at the Demon Slayer Headquarters, I've come to realize that he's just a big glutton. He loves to eat, but he is strong and fast. I can't wait to start training with him. Even though Final Selection doesn't start for awhile, I'm almost at the ideal level for it. So I won't need many training sessions. Practice, however, is something I need to do when I finish my beginner level of training. I need to burn everything I've learned into my head. I hope my every experience in training will help you to become a great demon slayer, little brother. I, however, do not wish for you to travel down this path. The path of a demon slayer is a path of revenge and death. You never know when you're going to be killed, or if you're going to be killed. Not everyone is suited to be a demon slayer. If there's a specific reason that causes you to become a demon slayer, I will support you no matter what. I love so much, my dear brother. I hope I see you soon.

Your loving sister,

Tori.

After she finished writing, she let the text dry and then she closed the book. Tori then headed off to bed where she had another vivid dream. She saw herself in an all black haori with raven feathers covering the bottom half of the sleeves. Part of the sleeves extended out and when she was holding her arms out it looked like she had wings. Then she saw the ranks of the demon slayers rise up next to her. She saw that she would one day become a pillar. This made her determined to become as strong as she possibly could.

The next morning she woke up early and she got dressed and ready to meet with Rengoku. She did her hair then she went to the kitchen and made a quick breakfast. She made her signature herbal tea as well. Once she ate her fill and drank her tea, she sat there for a few minutes to let her food settle and to let the effects of the herbs sink in. Then she heard footsteps and she saw Aoi walking into the kitchen. She was surprised at how early she was. Then Kanae came in and told Tori that Rengoku would be arriving any minute now. Tori nodded and followed Kanae outside. When they arrived outside, Rengoku was walking up the pathway. The three of them greeted each other and Tori then headed off with Rengoku to start her speed training.

They arrived at Rengoku's mansion and they first thing they saw was Senjuro sweeping at the entrance. Rengoku introduced his little brother to Tori and they both got along swimmingly, but then Shinjuro Rengoku, the father of the two, came out from the house and he saw Tori. He tried to attack her and kill her. He successfully pinned her down, but she used her breath style. She whispered, "Total Concentration. Breath of the Raven: Fifth Form: 360 Kick Off." She managed to get her leg into a kicking position. She knew her opponent was too strong for her to push off, so she went with option 2. She then gathered as much strength as possible and she kicked him off of her. Shinjuro looked at her in surprise. How could such a young girl like her have so much strength at an age like this? He knew she was a demon slayer in training. Shinjuro also knew that her family used the Breath of the Sun, which was why he was determined to kill her. But she wasn't using that breath style. He then left without a word and this left Tori confused. Rengoku told her to pay him no mind and they went of to the training yard.

Then Rengoku began to instruct her on ways to increase her speed. He showed her many exercises that involved sprinting and building up her leg muscles. She drew quick sketches of the proper technique for each exercise and she wrote down everything Rengoku said in her journal. That way she could review it all later and so that her brother Tanjiro could use it as a reference guide to help him train. Then she tried out the techniques herself and her whole body started to ache after doing them for so long. Sweat poured down her whole body as she panted heavily from the workout. They took a break and she made lunch for the two brothers. After lunch, she was back at it. She trained until the flame hashira told her to stop. Everyday she would train with Rengoku and practice her speed drills. Then within a few weeks time, Tori reached the ideal level of speed for Final Selection. Now she was ready to start her strength training. Many of the other pillars believed that she would only have one training session with Gyomei.

Tori began her training with Gyomei a little later than she would've liked, but Gyomei had some missions to take care of so he couldn't train her right away. So he told her via air mail to just practice what she learned so far. Tori practiced everything and she studied and reviewed everything that the Hashiras taught her. When the stone pillar finally returned, she went with him to the forest where he trained and gave her a simple task which was deemed impossible. She was to slice a boulder. Tori was now doubting her strength as she thought there was no way she could do it. The sword that she was holding would snap for sure. This happened to be the one day that Tori had forgotten to make her herbal tea because she didn't know when Gyomei was coming back. When he did come back, he wanted her to follow him immediately. All of the Hashiras and Tori's other friends watched her from the tress and behind bushes and tree trunks. They knew she was hesitant and doubting herself. But then, all were in shock when Tori inflicted pain on herself by tightly grabbing the skin on her arm. This allowed her to dismiss every doubt coming into her head and allowed her to concentrate. She took in a deep breath and then she raised her blade. She swung her blade without a second thought. She placed all of her trust and faith into the strength she had gained during training.

Then with one loud "SHIIIIIIINNNNNG," Tori sliced clean through the boulder with one blow. She had closed her eyes before her sword made contact. But once she heard the slicing sound of her sword, she opened her eyes and the first thing she did was fall to her knees. Tori could not believe that she had sliced a boulder in one blow. All of the pillars and Tori's other friends came running up and praised her for completing her beginner level training. Now all Tori had to do was pass Final Selection in order to continue to the next level of her training.

Tori knew that this was only the first of many successes to come. She was going to become a demon slayer and rise up the ranks until she became a pillar. Tori was determined to protect her family's future at all costs. She would make sure that no demon would ever take away their chance to live a peaceful life. Tori, however, knew that she could never have a peaceful life. The only way that would happen was if they defeated Muzan the strongest demon of them all, but this goal was impossible. Tori promised to herself that she wouldn't let any demon get near her family's household. Tori was now ready to enter Final Selection.

Author's note:

I must apologize for keeping you all waiting for this chapter. I've hit many writer's blocks and became less motivated to write. I have no internet now, so I was actually able to focus on writing for a change. So I've changed the age of Tori. She's 16 which is two years older than Shinobu, Four years older than Tanjiro, and one year younger than Giyu. Now if you got this far, you're probably wondering how Tori was able to slice a boulder in one blow. Unlike Tanjiro, Tori was able to fully master and understand the Full-Focus Breath right off the bat. She also doesn't need to see the opening thread like Tanjiro does. She's able to pinpoint her opponent's weaknesses and take them down with one blow. This was how she managed to slice the boulder. She found the weakest spot in the boulder and she used the Full-Focus Breath to increase her strength, but she put a lot of trust and faith into the strength she had gained during her training. Tori gained enough strength during her training to slice the boulder. Plus Tori can be seen as a prodigy because of how fast she learned and mastered everything. This will be elaborated on further in upcoming chapters when she actually starts to kill demons. I hope you all enjoyed Tori's training arc. More chapters will be in the works soon. But with no internet, I won't be able to post anything for awhile. I'll see you all in the next chapter hopefully.
