Disclaimers: I do not own Warframe.

A/N: First off, that "update" a few days back was just me switching some of the chapters around and the website register it as an update. Second, this will be the last "canon filler" before I go back to the main storyline.

Background Summary:

Operator Chroma is mediating after a session with Operator Trinity while Operator Nezha recently made a stop at the Orbiter while on route to his next mission. Operator Hildryn and Operator Mesa are also onboard seeing how the two of them just returned from a joint Extermination Mission and were retrofitting their Landing Craft with their respective Archwings for their next separate missions which were in a couple of hours.

(This takes place one week after the incident with Operator Ember)

Beginning of Observation Log #2

It was in a room at the far end of the Orbiter's main hallway that was used by Tenno to calmly and quietly dwell in their thoughts without being interrupted. Almost completely soundproof from the outside and having a window that helps one look out into the vastness of space, this was the meditation room.

It was in this room that Chroma was currently floating off the ground while in his cross-legged position as he looked out into the empty abyss.

But he was anything but calm.

"You have been standing there for five minutes now! State your business and leave me in peace, eyeldeg khuu!", he growls, his animosity directed at Nezha who was still in the doorway to the room.

Ordis' Note #1

After cross-referencing multiple language databases, I have discovered that "Eyeldeg Khuu" is a word from Operator Chroma's former tribe that basically means "Effeminate Boy".

Also, Operator Nezha was only standing in the doorway for four minutes and fifty-two seconds at this point but that's neither here nor there.

Nezha flinches slightly back at the harshness from Chroma's tone but nonetheless stands his ground, "I have a favor to ask you."

Chroma exhales in annoyance and a small stream of ice blows out of his helmet, "What is it that you would ask of me?"

Nezha takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out before speaking, "I want you to help me win the affection of Hildryn."

"What does that mean?", Chroma asks, "You want me to help you gain a victory over her or something? Despite your physical appearance, you're just as capable as anyone else in defeating her in a spar."

Nezha shakes his head, "By the void", he murmurs under his breath, "What was the phrase that your people used to use?", he says to himself before snapping upon remembering it, "I want to take her as my woman."

Ordis' Note #2

Five minutes and thirty-two seconds passed between Operator Chroma and Operator Nezha in total silence after Operator Nezha's request. Scanners picked up brainwave activity from Operator Chroma along with his vitals that indicated that he was in a minor state of shock. This is further enforced by the sporadic head movement that Operator Chroma was displaying, almost as if he was trying to make sense of what he just heard.

Chroma stood up after what seemed like an eternity and turn to face the fidgeting Nezha.

"This sounds like a what my people would have called a trap, no offense", the Dragon Tenno says, "Is this your idea of a jest?"

Ordis' Note #3

Going through thousands of recordings, Ordis has discovered that Operator Nezha has unwillingly gained the unofficial title of the "Trap Tenno" by some of the other Tenno, the main culprits being Operator Loki, Operator Wukong, Operator Ivara, and surprisingly Operator Ash or better known as the "Unnoticeables" squad. What they mean by this Ordis is still researching.

"I think the word you're looking for is trick", Nezha corrects him before moving on, though he was slightly ticked off by the faint insult, "But stars above, no! I truly want to win the heart of the fair maiden, Hildyrn!", Nezha says as he moves toward Chroma.

"Why?", Chroma says as he tilts his head down at The Fiery Ring Tenno, "Why in the great blue roaring sky of Earth would you want to be with her of all creatures?"

"Because she is the radiating maiden of the Origin System; who in their right mind wouldn't want to be with her?!", Nezha shouts as he stretches one hand upward while the other is placed in the middle of his chest. A shining light emits from around him and Chroma had to shield his eyes for it even overpower his warframe's visor.

Ordis' Note #4

As of now, Ordis has no idea where the light from Operator Nezha originated from. There have been no records indicating that he had such an ability beforehand but it seems to not consume his energy pool so Ordis is having a hard time pinpointing its source.

"Fine then, whatever", Chroma says as the blinding light died down and he was able to see properly again, "But what exactly do you require from me?"

Instantly, Nezha went from bursting with confidence to a shivering flower as he looked away from Chroma and tap his index fingers together in a nervous manner. He then slowly paced himself to the other side of the room and was staring at the window into the vastness of space.

Ordis' Note #5

Ordis is starting to see why Operator Nezha has been repeatedly mistaken for the opposite gender. Combine his mannerisms, slender form, and less than masculine voice and Ordis is starting to see why people have come to that reasoning. Perhaps this is how he gain the alias "Trap Tenno".

"I-I need to know more about her before I can try anything", he stammers out, "And I hear that you knew her even before the Zariman-Ten-Zero."

"Define "knew", if you will", was Chroma's response to this statement, "Because I starting to believe that you and I have two different meanings of that word."

Before Nezha could say anything the door to the mediation room opens up and both the Dragon and Fiery Ring Tenno turn to see the Shield Tenno standing there in the doorway, her imposing bulk making her as almost as wide as the passageway.

"Well if it isn't the Gichii chötgör herself," Chroma sprouts off at Hildryn.

Ordis' Note #6

"Gichii chötgör" means "Bitch Devil" in Operator Chroma's tribal language which is considered a slight variation of ancient Mongolian that Ordis just discovered three seconds before this event.

"Ah, I figure I would find you here slithering about, Tíkan eðla", was the tallest female Tenno's reply back, "Are you still stuck on the ship?"

Ordis' Note #7

Tíkan eðla means "Bitch Lizard" in Operator Hildryn's native tongue which is a slight variation of ancient Icelandic.

"Indeed I am, but the upside is that I don't have to see your behemoth, grotesque figure as often as I used to", Chroma retorts.

Hildryn slams her a fist into her open palm before slowing advancing on Chroma, "Perhaps I ought of remind you who exactly gave you that scar across your stomach during that skirmish in the Hagor's Pass."

Chroma merely snorts in amusement, standing his ground as the behemoth Valkyrie got ever closer, "Maybe I ought to jog your memory on who gave you that slash across your back during that failed raid your tribe launch on my tribe's foraging party."

Within moments, both Chroma and Hildryn were standing toe to toe with one another both of them showing barely restraint fury as they locked eyes. The tension in the air was thick and any little thing could set it off.

Ordis' Note #8

Calculating the projected outcome if a fight was to occur between Operator Chroma and Operator Hildryn:

Operator Chroma: 50.02% of winning

Operator Hildryn: 49.98% of winning

Fortunately, the mediation room is far less valuable than the bridge so Ordis wasn't as worried as he was during last week's incident with Operator Ember; still, he would much prefer that dispute be settled outside of the Orbiter.

"Hiya, suga!", a voice pops up from behind Hildryn and before either of the towering figures could react, a flash of yellow appears on the side of them and both of them turn to see Mesa standing there waving a hand at Chroma, "How's the lockdown going for ya? Any idea when you'll be release?"

Ordis' Note #9

Ordis has examined the footage from the hallway outside of the mediation room and would like to add that Operator Mesa was outside the room the entire time, having accompanying Operator Hildryn there. What she was doing is unknown at the moment but audio recordings did pick up her saying the words "You can do this. You can do this. Think positive", repetitive.

Both Chroma and Hildryn take a moment to stare down at the Gunslinger Tenno who seemingly moved faster than Gauss in that particular moment. Chroma was the first to recover and address her.

"Jessie, what brings you here?", he asks and his warframe's audio receptors pick up something strange emitting from Mesa a heartbeat later.

Ordis' Note #10

Apparently Operator Mesa let out a high-pitch noise known as a squeal though it was a faint one.

Ignoring it for now, Chroma awaited Mesa's answer which never came due to a sudden outburst erupting from his other side and he turns his head in time to see a blur coming at him.

"By the will of the stars, the fair maiden of the battlefield graces me with her presence!", Nezha spurts out as he somehow manages to knock Chroma out of the way so that he was now directly in front of Hildryn, sending the Dragon Tenno flying into Mesa and across the room.

Ordis' Note #11

Operator Chroma's natural mass combined with his warframe is over double that of Operator Nezha. Where the smaller Tenno found the strength to achieve such a feat is beyond Ordis' comprehension.

Nezha kneels down in front of Hildryn, "My day has become a thousand times better now that I have been present in the same room with your magnificent figure!", he declares while reaching a hand upwards toward the Valkyrie Tenno and once more a light began to radiant from his body, "Truly this is a day I shalt not forget!"

Hildryn is as still as a statue as she looks down, barely breathing or saying a word as she only stares at Nezha.

Ordis' Note #12

Going off of Operator Hildryn's brainwave activity and vitals, she too was in the same state of shock that Operator Chroma experience prior to her arrival. Ordis will run an analysis on whether or not this is a newfound ability that Operator Nezha can perform.

Meanwhile…

"How that eyeldeg khuu manages to knock me aside I'll never know", Chroma states as from his position as he moves to get up only to stop and look downward, "Apologizes, Jessie, I had no control in the direction I was flung."

"Hahahahahahaha!", Mesa awkwardly laughs while trying to maintain her composure and keep her heart from beating out of her chest due to the sheer proximity Chroma was to her, "No problem, suga!"

"Then if you will excuse me", Chroma says as he rolls off of her, "I have a to deal with-", he began to say as he turns around to face Nezha and Hildryn only to stop in mid-sentence upon seeing the sight before him.

There was Hildryn, standing there motionless while Nezha was kneeling down and now holding her hand and spouting off more of his nonsense blabber.

"I can only imagine what your breathtaking face looks like underneath your helmet! Your eyes must shine like diamonds! Your skin must be as smooth as silk! And the full radiance of your hair, which I have only seen a glimpse of, undoubtedly puts the sun to shame!", he went on and on all the while the Shield Tenno could only look down at him in silence.

"What is going on here? What sorcery is this?", Chroma asks himself.

Ordis' Note #13

Ordis would like to point out that Operator Mesa at this particular moment has yet to move from her position despite Operator Chroma removing himself from atop of her more than ten seconds ago and her heartbeat has yet to stabilize.

After what seems like an eternity, Hildryn withdraws her hand from Nezha. She then slowly turn around and left the room all while not speaking a single word. As soon as the door slid shut, Nezha freak out.

"By the stars in the void; what have I done?!", he screams to the ceiling of the room.

"I think that you just prove to me that you don't need my assistance in "gaining the affection" of that beast", Chroma answers as he walks up to Nezha, "You seem to be doing just fine."

"No! I botch that up! Sweet void, that's the first time in a while she has ever been that close to me! I completely lose control of myself and gave into my raw emotions!", Nezha cried, "Oh, why didn't I just faint as I did on my mission with her?"

With speed that could rival Loki and Ash, Nezha left the room, leaving Chroma alone with his thoughts.

Ordis' Note #14

Operator Hildryn headed to the gym after leaving the meditation room and stayed there until it was time for her to leave on her mission, doing multiple reps at almost every station and with a large amount of weight at that. Operator Nezha headed to the music room set up by Operator Octavia and played the harp, though frantically until he too had to depart for his next mission.

"What has gotten into everyone?", Chroma says as he let out another puff of ice through his nostrils. After a moment he followed behind Hildryn and Nezha and left the mediation room, no longer in the mood to enjoy the quiet.

Ordis' Note #15

Ordis would like to point out that Operator Mesa was still lying on the floor when Operator Chroma left. Brainwaves activity signified that she was in a state of shock, but completely unlike the one's Operator Hildryn and Operator Chroma were in earlier. After five minutes of no significant movement from her, Ordis notified Operator Trinity who was in the Med-bay. She arrived on station within two minutes and evaluate Operator Mesa through the used of her warframe's special med-link which she connected into Operator Mesa's warframe. After her analysis, Operator Trinity was seen shaking her head while massaging her temples. Audio recordings pick up her saying the phrase, "This girl is head over heels for him." She then proceeded to carry Operator Mesa to the Med-bay where she rested until it was time for her to depart.

*Special Note

As a reminder, Operator Trinity's warframe Med-Link allows her to connect directly into another warframe via wire or wireless though the wire option doesn't require the Tenno's permission. It allows her to review the last fifteen minutes of audio and visual logs as well as their vitals that the warframe automatically records to help her successfully diagnosis the Tenno and make sure they get the right treatment.

Summary of Observation

1. Operator Nezha has approach Operator Chroma and has request his aid in gaining a more positive relationship with Operator Hildryn. Whether or not Operator Chroma has accepted this request is still up in the air.

2. Operator Chroma and Operator Hildryn seem to have a level of hostility toward each other that has something to do with their shared history; both on a personal level and a shared one between their former tribes.

3. Operator Nezha seems to lose all coherent thoughts whenever he is in close proximity to Operator Hildryn.

4. Operator Mesa seems to be, as Operator Trinity put it, "Head over heels" for Operator Chroma though Ordis does not know what this means.

End of Observation #2

"Ordis", Lotus says from the confines of her landing craft, "As soon as Vor's offensive is contained and things calm down around here, I want all of "Unnoticables" squad on guard duty for Trinity whenever she goes to collect samples from the Infected for research until I say so otherwise. I will not tolerate such behavior among the Tenno."

"Yes, Lotus", Ordis obeys.

"Also bring me up a diagram detailing the projected strengths and weaknesses of a team comprising of Chroma, Mesa, Nezha, and Hildryn", she orders.

"One moment, please", Ordis says and within two seconds, said diagram pops up on her screen.

"Hmmm", she says after going over it for a couple of minutes, "Chroma's hand-to-hand combat abilities complement Mesa's long-range capabilities though I already knew that. Also, Nezha's speed and agility go hand in hand with Hildryn's strength and shields. Add in Chroma, Mesa, and Hildryn's support abilities and I just might have a team that could rival "Nature's Wrath" squad.

"You mean the team comprising of Operator Ember, Operator Frost, Operator Volt, and Operator Saryn? But Lotus, they are one of our three strongest teams", Ordis states, "And there is also the "Unnoticeables" squad consisting of Operator Ivara, Operator Loki, Operator Ash, and Operator Wukong. Also, lest not forget about team "Vengeance" which is comprised of Operator Inaros, Operator Atlas, Operator Zephyr, and Operator Hydron. Though Operator Inaros has said on a number of occasions that he only tolerates-"

"I am fully aware of the mission success rate of those three squads but all of them only seem to thrive in certain types of missions. I want to test out teams that are well balanced and versatile", Lotus interrupted, "Of course, this will all happen after we have dealt with Vor."

A/N: As Kronk once said, "Oh, yeah. It's all coming together." I know all the jokes Nezha gets in the Warframe community, so I'm putting it into my story and it will actually come up in the Hildryn's arc later on.
