Disclaimers: I do not own Warframe.

A/N: Despite what I said earlier, I was at work, bored out of my mind, and so I decided to make this. Also, because I just drop a 12000-word chapter I had to split up into three parts. Enjoy

Syndicate Dossier

Author: Lotus

Subject: New Loka

Theme: Purity

Numbers: Around 30000 members

Leader: The Priestess Amaryn

Former Headquarters: Tikal, Earth

(Lost in a Grineer Offensive)

Current Headquarters: New Loka Flagship's "Terra Reborn" currently station at the Jupiter Relay

Weaponry: Through undisclosed methods, New Loka has been able to acquire a number of Tenno-based weapons which includes:

The Furis automatic pistol.

The Skana blade.

The Panthera disc launcher.

They also seem to have no quarrel with using Grineer-based weapons either as they employ the Vulkar sniper rifle.

Syndicate Summary:

Though above one of the younger members of the modern syndicates, New Loka is nevertheless a survivor of the last Syndicate War and is now one of the main players in the chess game that is the Origin System.

Led by Amaryn, who is the fifth person to hold the leadership position in the group, the guild preaches peace in the light but is willing to get their hands dirty in the shadows to help further their goals. New Loka first burst onto the scene two hundred years prior to the present time, form from a group that split from another syndicate, Divine Terra, which was destroyed in the Seventh Syndicate War. While there isn't much information about Divine Terra, it was its destruction that allowed New Loka to emerge as a major power as all of its other rivals were either too weaken by the conflict or outright destroyed to stop them along with Amaryn and her followers quickly snatching up their remnants for their own gain.

One of their two main objectives is to bring back the purity that was the human race before its corruption and before the Grineer came to power. The other one is just as less likely to happen as the first and that is the repopulation of Earth.

In a sense of irony, New Loka shuns the idea of using any Orokin technology in "purifying" the Earth (despite having the same technological level as many of the other syndicates with the only exceptions being The Perrin Sequence and Cephalon Suda) even though it could quite possibly make their dream a reality. They even go as far as destroying any Orokin tech they find on Earth with the Tower of the Unum being the only exception due to the severe backlash they would suffer from the Ostrons and by extension the Tenno.

Syndicate Relationships:

Red Veil:

Far as it has been witness, New Loka maintains a neutral stance with Red Veil.

Arbiters of Hexis:

Just like Red Veil, New Loka has taken no hostile actions against the Arbiters, though how long this may last is another matter.

The Perrin Sequence:

It seems both syndicates express a passion for a system-wide peace (though they have different ways of going about it) thus they are on good terms with one another, though in my opinion, they're probably just waiting for an opportunity to stab the other in the back.

Cephalon Suda:

If New Loka wishes to rid the Earth of all Orokin tech, Cephalon Suda is the exact opposite for she wants to preserve and study it, the Tower of the Unum being of great interest to her and these clashing philosophies have more than once led to violent confrontations. More than a few Tenno have reported coming across large firefights between the agents of both Syndicates, usually close to an area littered with Orokin technology.

Steel Meridian:

It has been agreed upon by many, including the rest of the Syndicates as well as the entirety of the Tenno, that despite the restricted "open conflict" New Loka has with Cephalon Suda, Steel Meridian is New Loka's true worst enemy. Surprisingly, this has almost nothing to do with their conflicting stances even though New Loka seems to view the Grineer as mutations and abominations, but more so to do with each respective group's current leadership. Of all the people that Amaryn has dealt with over the years, Cressa Tal seems to be the only one who can get a rise out of her, something that is considered to be a feat in itself as even I, the Lotus, has been unable to do so. While Amaryn practices subtlety in her insults, Cressa Tal is blunt with hers. Where the Priestess would prefer to use espionage, the former soldier would lead a frontal assault. The two are as different as oil and water and the tension is always high whenever the two of them are in the same room. On a number of occasions, outside forces had to intervene to keep the "peace" between them on the relays. In one particular incident on the Orcus Relay, Teshin Dax himself had to step in and draw his sword to prevent a war from happening due to both leaders, the heat of the moment, not caring if they violated the peace put forth down by the Preservers Guild.

It is my theory that if there was ever to be an Eighth Syndicate War, these two would no doubt be the cause of it and at least one relay would be destroyed in the process.

Also, while New Loka maintains the superior fleet, Steel Meridian employs better ground forces, thus any open war between them would result in a bloody stalemate.

Favored Tenno:

Certain Tenno have found themselves more welcome than their brethren when in the presence of New Loka representatives such as:

Baruuk:

This is no doubt due to him being a pacifist and practicing his ways of peace, a facade that Amaryn and her followers maintain on the outside.

Equinox:

The Twin Sisters represent the day and night, from their personalities to their codenames. Perhaps New Loka sees them as a symbol of the cycles of Earth.

Gara:

The Glass Tenno has a good relationship with the people of Cetus, who New Loka extensively trades with. She has even acted as a bodyguard whenever the syndicate's agents venture out into the plains.

Hydroid:

He is the physical embodiment of water, which is no doubt the most visible and renowned feature of Earth.

Mag:

She is one of the reasons that New Loka has been able to maintain a large fleet by introducing to them a new system that reduces the amount of energy needed to power their ships.

Nyx:

I fear that the only reason Amaryn is close to the youngest Tenno is that she hopes to somehow use her mind manipulation powers for her own gain and further her guild's cause. I have voice my suspicions to her brother, Excalibur, and we have both taken precautions to limit Nyx's interactions with the syndicate.

Oberon:

His codename and warframe are the embodiment of the "King of the Fairies", an ancient mythological race from the early days of humanity.

Octavia:

Both her and Amaryn share a love for ancient classical music from a period in Earth's history where it thrived.

Titania:

Much like her lover, Oberon, she is the "Queen of the Fairies", though she is held in higher regard than him.

Trinity:

The Healing Tenno once used her medical knowledge to save an entire New Loka outpost from being wipe out after Alad V release a virus prototype on them.

Valkyr:

Believe it or not, Amaryn actually takes genuine pity on her for what she has gone through. Surprisingly, she was the one who provide intel that aided Excalibur and Chroma in infiltrating the lab of Alad V where she was being held.

Wukong:

I can only guess that he was some intel on her that she would rather not be made public and which he refuses to share with me.

Zephyr:

She is the embodiment of wind and has trained a number of their fleet pilots.

*Chroma*:

Lately, Amaryn has started to take special notice of the Dragon Tenno. It is possible that this is due to him being one of the only few people alive who lived on Earth back with it was vibrant. It may also be due to the connection he has with nature.

Special Note:

It should be noted that New Loka employs a number of controlled Infested Ancient Healers among their forces. How they were able to get ahold of these is still unknown and subsequently, they have ban Nidus from participating in joint operations with them.

End of Dossier

A/N: Might do one for Steel Meridian seeing how it too was in the spotlight recently. The reason the numbers are so high is that they have to man every relay, they have multiple outposts as well as a fleet to maintain.
