Disclaimers: I do not own Warframe

A/N: So this was submitted to me by Geolex (id: 5683514) awhile ago and I just now got around to releasing it. While there was some editing done on my part as well as more added to it, all the credit goes to them for laying the foundation for it.

Saryn

The Poison Tenno, The Toxic Tenno. The Spores Tenno. The Venom Tenno

Unofficially: The Model Tenno. The Fashion Tenno.

This is Saryn, Elusive, and Deadly.

She was born the only child into a life of luxury within the Orokin empire with both her parents being of the prestige elite merchant class who frequently dined with their friends in nobility. Her beauty was noticed from a young age and her parents were constantly bombarded with marriage arrangements for her from all walks of high society.

Unfortunately, in the year of their daughter's sixteenth birthday, both of them were killed on route to Mars when the infamous space pirate who is now known as the Tenno, Hydroid, raided their ship, leaving Saryn, who stayed behind at home, alone now in her lascivious mansion on Saturn. While she was check up on periodically by her remaining family, her home life was still rather lonely until she eventually became close with the staff.

It was a few years later that her beauty was noticed by photographers and she was quickly picked up to be a fashion model and she dominated the industry showcasing all ranging of clothing. She eventually even made her own outfits and even the Orokin Empress herself was were known to wear them.

Sadly, her original drawings can no longer be found, but she has provided a few redesigns as of late.

*Before I go any further it should be pointed out that a good portion of the information I have on Saryn does not come from Orokin databases and such but from the Ring Tenno, Nezha, who has informed me that his household were highly valued and frequent customers of her parents before their passing. Nezha also bashfully pointed out that his parents were among the many families that sent her Saryn's parents marriage proposals, but he is thankful that his was never accepted despite him being the highest offer.*

When she boarded the Zariman Ten Zero, she, like everyone else, had no idea of the void jump experiments. She and her agency were only told that she would be there for promotional purposes and to showcase the newest line of fashion at the Grand Parade. Like everyone else who believed that lie, she was wrong, though she was one of the few who survived the jump and was changed by it.

When she was found by the recovery team, the room she was in was littered with corpses. They had become disgusting masses of flesh with green substances found all over their bodies and there were unidentified spores that clouded the air. There was one fatality above the rescue team that ended up in contact with the spores after their suit had a breach in it and full protection was required while recovering her from the Zariman Ten Zero's thresholds, and even then, it was still risky. Many tests on her afterward came to the conclusion of her body was producing highly toxic and caustic venom, almost like a living chemical factory.

After her parent's death and before the void incident, she was quite happy-go-lucky and rather cheery. But coming back from the ship, she was depressed for a while, and for a fair amount of time afterward, she loathed her powers and what they did to her face, leaving green vein marks underneath her right eye down to her cheek. She eventually learned to accepted her powers like a majority of the Tenno did later on down the line though she also matured a little in regards to her personality. Furthermore, she warmed up to her fellow Tenno, especially her future teammates, Ember, Volt, and Frost.

Sadly, her remaining family and the entirety of her household staff were later executed when the Orokin Empire sought to keep the knowledge of the jump experiments from going public. This, of course, was the last straw for Saryn, ultimately turning on the empire much like the other Tenno once she found out.

Combat-wise, when she was starting out, she was considered dead weight by a few of the more powerful Tenno, especially ones like Chroma and Hildryn who were already considered near inhuman to begin with to a certain degree, especially in close-quarters combat.

Despite her spores being effective in room clearing, she was very inexperienced with fighting up close, almost as bad as Mesa, and she had terrible aim. Though through training and encouragement from her team, she eventually grew to become a must-have in combat, now favoring such weapons as the Gazal Machete and the Stug.

On a final note, Ordis was able to recover one significant piece of information as of late. Saryn, Frost, Volt, and Ember were en route to becoming the Orokin Emperor's elite squad and personal bodyguard due to their overall balance and extreme effectiveness in combat. This did not come to fruition though due to unknown reasons.

Fight Poison with... Poison. Cure the Origin System with the greatest of plagues.

Like Mesa, Saryn has a tendency to call others by a nickname, preferably "Sweetie". This has garner mixed reactions among the Tenno, preferably Trinity, who was already getting called that by Atlas.

While she is still hesitant to touch things that most people would consider gross (something that has not escape Loki's attention nor his comments), she's just nowhere near as reluctant as she was before.

Even if she is one of more happy-go-lucky Tenno, her sheer deadliness cannot be underestimated as she has accumulated the fourth-highest kill tally. This, much like Equinox, has been disputed though due to the fact that she wasn't even in the same room as half of her victims as she sometimes uses the ventilation shafts to transmit her spores throughout the target facility. Also, a great number of the Tenno seems to loathe the fact that she has a tradition of "cat-walking" through a room after all of the enemy occupants have been dealt with, with some such as Nekros and even Inaros calling it disrespectful.

As of late, Saryn been drawing up some armor designs and helmets for a lot of the Tenno, and sometimes the Tenno take these drawings to be made into actual armor by the frame-smiths within the Preservers Guild who are the only ones in the entire Origin System who have the knowledge and technology to do so. It should be noted though that they don't actually create new armor, they just add on or take away from it.

Though it should it also be pointed out that the materials to do such thing are getting rarer and rarer to find with each suit they change and this also depletes the material needed to repair any warframe suit that takes a critical blow and can't repair itself. Furthermore, this is starting to eat away at the collective platinum treasury the ship has as the residents of the relay will only accept this sort of currency for such services.

Overall though Saryn calls this entire process, "Fashion Frame."

Saryn appears to have a collection of ancient Earth reading material known as manga and comic books that she reads in her free time to get inspiration, the genre of these appear to be mostly comedy.

Sadly, Saryn is one of the many Tenno who is uncomfortable being around Nidus and has requested not to be put on assignments with him. When she got a little more vocal saying that the Infested Tenno shouldn't even be allowed on the Orbiter, this brought her into conflict with Vauban and Trinity.

Special Note:

Through recent observations, it has been concluded that while Saryn does share her team's hatred for Chroma for unknown reasons, her animosity toward him is easily the "lightest" in comparison to Ember, Volt, and Frost. Though Saryn's hatred for Chroma may stem from another incident involving him.

It should also be known that she takes it quite personally when someone heavily criticizes her designs, especially seeing how some of her creations were worn by members of the Royal Family. Chroma made this mistake and shot down one of her armor designs for him which he did not ask for.

(I believe the name of it was "Dynasty Armor".)

Anyway, the discussion became heated once Chroma started pointing out the flaws in it, his greatest criticism being that of the "Dynasty Wings", and how it would be a hindrance to him in combat, especially in close quarters.

Ash and Rhino, who were nearby, claim that Saryn was shaking with rage and it almost looked like that she was going to attack Chroma but at the last moment just stomp away to her quarters. Whether or not this incident has affected her relationship with the Dragon Tenno remains to be seen.

Relationship with Hydroid:

Saryn has neither forgotten nor forgiven Hydroid for what he did to her parents and I fear a day of reckoning is coming between those two. This inevitable conflict would no doubt draw in their respective teams and I fear that unless something changes, the Tenno will be dealt a critical blow, one that they inflicted on themselves, that they won't recover from easily.

Saryn is a deadly force on the battlefield. Get down with the sickness.

A/N: Little bits and pieces of Nidus and Chroma found in these profiles. Remember, the credit goes to Geolex (id: 5683514).
