Several months had passed since the appearance of the Ganglers. News of SPD apparent Corruption had spread across the the Galaxy, drawing more attention to the momo rangers. Momo rangers were known to be at odds with SPD due to some of its members. Commander Tate had spun this as an attempt to reduce the attention on SPD, there was a more pressing reason behind the Commander's actions.
A couple of weeks after the news broke, Momo rangers had been attacked by a group of pordermen in retribution. Fortunately for the Rangers they were more than a match for the Gangler Minions but it highlighted how much danger they were in. There was still a potential traitor within SPD and only someone who had knowledge not only SPD's past but ranger history. All of the danger of the situation were far from the minds of The rangers though.
"Ji there hasn't been any activity in a weeks! Whats going on?" Dayu asks curiously.
"Rangers be on high alert there could be an attack at any moment." Ji warns the team. "But right now you should continue your normal lives."
"Good idea." Lauren says as the rangers leave the mansion.
"Whats the plan ." VK says looking at the other rangers.
"A what?." Kong asks.
"Well we have two cases SPD corruption and this Gangler uprising!" Daniel says as he walks off.
They rangers continued walking for a while the suddenly see Pondermen.
"We don't have time for this! Its MORPHIN TIME!" Lauren says as she begins to morph.
"Let's do this" VK says as the rangers jump in to fight their enemies.
Dayu begins punching and kicking her way through the Pondermen as She sees Lauren jump over her and into the Pondermen who were carrying a box away. Kong manages to get through the Pondermen and join Lauren in fighting over the box. When suddenly Daniel was frozen right beside Kong and barely missing Dayu. Dayu looked over to where the blast of cold came from and sees a horrific creature staring at her.
"Stay away from that or your friend will get an icy surprise." The villain says with a cold smirk sneaking up his face.
"The way I see it because he's frozen he's protected from you." Dayu says confidence rising as the smirk goes away.
"Then you will meet his fate!" the villain says when VK suddenly kicks him from behind!
"Ji told us to look out!" Lauren says taking a step forward.
The villain begins to get up but is soon teleported away!
"Well that was anti climatic." Dayu jokes then seeing VK run over and breaks the ice with his bare hands!
"Ooooo brrr great things that shoot ice great." Daniel jokes stepping away from the remains of the ice. "Good job Distracting him Dayu if it wasn't for you we all would have been Power popsicles."
"No problem." Dayu says happily.
"Power Down!" They all say.
The rangers continue through the day. They then head back to the Shiba Mansion to see Ji and give him the description of the Ice creature.
"This is troubling if this creature manages to freeze the water this city could be in some serious danger" Ji explains.
"The creature and co were stealing a box what looked like a time force safe but why?" Dayu says with curiosity.
"Time Force has artifacts from Rangers of the past and possibly the future." Ji explains.
"We need to figure out what was in the box but right now we need to find where they are going to strike next." Lauren says.
"Agreed rangers i have upgraded your suits equipping a anti freeze protection " Ji says smiling.
Suddenly the alarms go off warning the rangers that the monster is attacking!
"Hahaha so the Rangers have arrived!" The Ice monster stands behind them.
"What's your name vile creature!" Dayu yells.
"My name frozone the white walker!" Frozone says preparing to freeze Lauren.
Dayu jumps and grabs Lauren getting them out of the freeze ray in time.
"Not this time Frozone. It's MORPHIN TIME!" Dayu says
Lauren dodged another blast of frozen ice then jumped into a pondermen knocking him down. Dayu starts to take down the other putties leaving Lauren with an open shot at Frozone!
"Go ahead and take down Frozone I'll hold off the Pondermen." Dayu says jump kicking yet another pondermen to the ground.
So, Lauren does just that and using her axe to knock the pondermen out of the way and land a strike on Frozone.
"Insufferable Ranger!" Frozone retorts as he fires another volley of ice shards. Lauren blocks it with her sword the tip of it freezing, She then smashes it into Frozone's face stopping him.
"I guess you could say I froze you cold in your tracks." Lauren jokes as he disappears into nothingness like the pondermen do when the rangers defeat them.
Meanwhile the other Rangers discover the real distraction was Frozone as Destra makes off with another box.
"These guys are strong." VK says gasping for breath.
"We can do this! Its MORPHIN TIME!" Kong states as tired as ever.
"Ah ha! That's better!" Daniel says jumping yet again into the wave of oncoming Pondermen.
"Even with the power I don't think we can take on Destra with just the three of us." Kong says feeling the hopelessness of the confrontation.
Meanwhile Lauren and Dayu receive a message from Ji relaying that Frozone was distracting them so that Destra could grab another box without more opposition. The rangers then head off to meet with the other rangers.
"Oh hey! You done messing with your Ice monster and ready to help us?" VK jokes swinging at another pondermen.
"Actually we are Frozone is taken care of and we are ready to help." Lauren says slashing at her opponents!
"Get the box out of here Pondermen I will deal with the Ranger scum!" Destra commanded the Pondermen in a demeaning tone. Destra then pulled out his sword and began to attack VK with VK trying his best to block the attacks. Lauren and Dayu jump in blocking a blow which most certainly would've hit VK . Daniel then shoots Destra knocking him to the floor. Kong runs off after the Pondermen who still have the box. Destra retaliates by releasing an energy blast from his hand hitting the 4 rangers at the same time! Lauren slams her blade into the ground causing a shockwave, VK then comes from behind with his star slashing Destra across the back!
"They escaped with the box!" Kong exclaims alarmed the enemies got away.
"Hahahaha puny Humans you thought my power would be weak!" Destra laughs as he's teleported away.
