A/N:I was not hoping to update this soon but these ideas keep bothering me to do so. But the next updates won't come this soon—depends,on my mood. :)In the following chapter I am using three main concepts.one is from Owari no Seraph. - A demon being able to live along with a person. it's like sharing the body with another creature. The more time you'll spend together the more yourself would grow demonic. first the minor symptoms like loneliness, isolating themselves and peculiar behaviours like talking to the demon( other people may see it as the person talking to themselves. ) and extraordinary hunger.

Then allowing the demon to possess their body will give them massive amount of strength entering the state of Namanari. Spending more time in that state, will make them temporary vampires. And if they let it continue further they would become actual vampires losing their humanity forever. ( a demon concealed in its own dead body is called as a Vampire. They consume blood to feed that body. If the vampire's human body was killed, it would become a demon.)

Two- The ones who faced near death experiences are more vulnerable for inhuman entities.

The third was inspired by a folktale in my country - will be explained in the story.

ghost fog- A dimmly lighted mist. (pale blue-white ish.) Part of the manifesion, cold to the touch.

Manifestation- The ghostly occurrence. may include all kind of supernatural phenomena.

Chapter two: The devil within

Twelve Years ago...

"Do not go outside alone! Arasso? not after night fall.."

The five year old Chu Ga Eul could still hear the firm and clear advice she was given by aunt Myung Gi just before she was put into bed, which she was discarding at the moment without any hesitation.

Why shouldn't she?

It was her appa who was calling her...

She could understand why her aunt gave her such advice.

Of course... she can not_Ani.. They can not hear him...For them, he was gone...

Dead.

He called her every night though...

And what little girl would disobey her own appa—more precisely, who would listen to their aunt over their appa?...

Not Chu Ga Eul. She was an obedient girl. She loved and adored him more than any one else. Her appa was the one who looked after her all those years, after her omma passed away, giving her best to bring her to this world.

Her appa was her whole world. And so was she to him.

But unfortunately, a drunken driver took him away... three months ago.

From the rest of the world.

But not from her.

Every night after the funeral he called her to come out to the garden. Every single night at the exact same time.

3.00 am...

The rest of the house was fast asleep then, when the five year old Chu Ga Eul slipped down from her bed, silently, and tiptoed to the main door, carefully unlocking it, and occasionally looking back when the door gave a creak, resisting to be opened. Then she stepped out to the garden, running to the figure seated on the garden chair.

As always.

A pale light illuminated his outline...

"Appa!" She ran to the figure who turned at her and smiled before greeting.

"Anyeongsaeyo... gongjunim..."

The greeting was different though, than what her appa called her, back when he was alive...

Mr. Chu preferred to call his daughter from her name, which was given by his late wife... her favourite season—autumn—Ga Eul.

It was not that Ga Eul disliked her new endearment, calling her princess.

But if given the choice, she too would have still preferred the previous one.

Yet, she was more than delighted to meet him every night.

She sat besides him and talked and talked, about everything that happened to her, and everything that happened to everyone she knew, during that day.

The figure listened to her stories, calmly, as how Mr. Chu would do...

At the end, when she was all out of stories she went silent with a curious expression.

There was a question bothering her all that time.

Something the ghost was letting to bother her all this time...

"Appa, why do you always ask me to come outside? Appa can come inside... instead..."

The ghost went silent, looking away, a wolfish grin drew on his face.

It was the moment that it had been waiting for... ever since it spotted the little girl in the graveyard.

It was patient... patiently waiting for that moment...

Just like its growing excitement the ghost fog aroused from every corner of the large garden, rolling around the bushes swallowing its lawns.

It grew colder and colder... the temperature dropping, allowing ice crystals to form long and sharp, on the curved edges of the garden chair.

"It's alright then..." the girl hesitated. " As long as appa is here with me... I will come outside... every night..." The girl gave a shiver. "It would have been better though... if appa was warmer like before..." and giggled.

"I am not allowed..." The ghost answered.

"Eh?"

"Dadl...will you invite me inside?...." The wolfish smile grew even wider. "Or maybe..."

It touched her face stroking her cheeks from its palms...

"Will you invite me further inside?..."

It grinned looking into the girl's eyes which had now narrowed from suspense.

The ghostly hand dropped down.

"Or maybe not..." It again looked away avoiding her eyes, letting guilt grow deeper than suspense in the little heart.

After a considerable silence only interrupted by a murmuring of an Owl...

Arasso appa..." Ga Eul flashed a smile.

"I invite you inside..."

"Further inside?..."

"Further inside." She repeated after him, still with her smile.

The ghost again turned at her, but his face now different.

His skin gone pale—paper white, His teeth grown longer and sharper, eyes hollow and dark as blackness could ever be and with blood streaming from each one of them...

Blood streaming out from his eyes and from the corners of his mouth as he grinned back at her...

It was not her appa.

It was someone else... That she had invited...inside.

Further inside...

Ga Eul tried to scream out for help. But a large hand grasped her throat unabling her to yell, while the long claws dug deep in to her heart...

Possesing her.

...

...

...

Twelve years later..

"AAAH!"

Ga Eul woke up with a scream. She had again fallen asleep in the porridge shop.

And had again seen the same nightmare she has been seeing for the past twelve years.

She took shallow breaths to calm down her self, before looking straight into the figure of the twenty year old boy who sat right across her, smirking.

She glared at him—the transparent boy dressed in all ancient robes.

"Will you ever leave me alone?!" and threw the ceramic bowl at him, which passed straight threw his chest, collapsing onto the chair and shattered into pieces.

"Ga Eul ah...Am I that much of a nuisance to you ?"

Jandi's voice sounded broken.

Ga Eul froze.

This was the fifth time it had happened for that week, that she had yelled at the ghost, whenever Jandi was around who always mistook it for herself.

"Jandiya... I was just_"

"_Anniyo!" she smirked. " You don't have to lie again... I know that you disgust me. Now... that I am attending this new school for the prestige..."

"Jandiya..." She heard the ghostly cackling. What had he made her do?

"Ye! and I might be disgusting... dating two of the richest boys at once...Thinking about one and kissing the other..." Jandi wiped a tear strolling down her cheek.

"Mwo? When have I..?"

The question lost in the air as she heard the ghost smirk even louder.

"Ahrasso! I understand it very well..." Jandi wiped another tear and collected her things running out from the porridge shop.

"Jandiya!" Ga Eul screamed out amidst the ghostly smirk continued.

"Baekga!" she glared at the boy dressed in ancient robes.

Baekga—the demon, who tricked her to let himself inside her body was found to be a more ancient spirit— almost lived and died long before, around the time of Silla.

"Waeyo? I wasn't lying?... was I?...She was disgusting...You thought that yourself... didn't you?..."

The demon laughed, now in the form of a twenty year old boy—a more purer form than his actual one(which was revealed back when he was possesing her).

But the time made her fear drain off, as they shared her same fragile body.

It was the agreement.

And when agreements were made with someone out of humanity, they are very much unlikely to be broken.

Unless ...

There was only one way, if not for the various spell crafts and rituals Ga Eul was experimenting on her own self.

...

"The agreement will be broken once your heart will be received and filled with love...but not just any love... the purest of love... ..." The demon once declared himself.

"In Other words... the love of a soulmate... If such kind of thing still exists on this earth..."

"The love of a soulmate?..."

"Hmm... kind and caring... love... a love more of a sacrifice than it is lust..."

" And What if I would find him? would you release me then?"

The demon roared into laughter.

"He would die then..."

"m-mwo?"

"It's your Karma... my dear... every one who loves you ... must.. die...just like your omma... just like your appa..."

The demon laughed even more.

Despite of its mischievous (and sometimes fierce) nature, Ga Eul knew one thing alright.

That demons never lie.

"The Karma is yours... yours to make.. and yours to change..."

"Well then I'll.. I'll...change it..."

The demon chuckled.

"Maybe... But till then... you are my pretty little slave..."

...

"Why would you_you little thing!"

The demon shrugged. " I suppose your Karma doesn't let you have a friend at the least... Oh you poor little thing..." He pulled out a sad face, and fluttered his eye lashes, before slipping back into her body.

Ga Eul blinked.

"I hate my Karma." She muttered to herself.

The Head Master appeared from the counter waving his head in confusion, after hearing the one sided conversation.

"What ever Karma you were talking about..." He came near her. "Better hand this over to Jandi,.." He gave her Jandi's purse. " Try to make up with her... she's the only friend you have..."

And that was how Ga Eul ended up inside the prestigious Shinhwa school, infront of Geum Jandi's class, showering the glares from her fellow classmates.

"Jandiya!.." Ga Eul hugged her just when she came out.

But Geum Jandi, still shocked by her blunt insults, was not much in the mood to forgive her yet.

"Gumao.." She took the purse with a hesitant bow, avoiding to look in her eyes.

"G-Gu Junpyo?... Gu Junpyo!... "

And turned to run at Gu Junpyo who appeared around the corridor— only to dismiss her rather than the joy of seeing him.

"Ha!"Junpyo smirked. "You abondoned Ga Eul for me?" He was delighted, that at last his girlfriend was choosing him over someone (anyone) else.

"Didn't you two have a fight?" Ji Hu asked, who appeared right behind Junpyo, along with Yi Jeong and Woo Bin.

"It appears her boyfriend is enjoying the attention he has reclaimed as well..." Yi Jeong remarked with a grin, gesturing at the smirking figure who was looking straight at them.

"What Boyfriend?"

Woo Bin gave him a quizzical look.

The corridor was empty, if not for the F4 Jandi and Ga Eul.

"eh?" Yi Jeong returned him the look, before switching his sight, between him and the grinning boy.

He was fading away...

And Yi Jeong again looked at Woo Bin who was staring at whatever place he himself was looking at.

It was then it clicked his mind.

And the ghost grinned wider, as he recognized his late realisation.

"Ani... nothing..." Yi Jeong shook away the thought turning back to his friends.

The unusual comments were forgotten once the corridor was filled with the sqealing admirers of the F4.

But amidst his grinning mask Yi Jeong was sweating, when he saw the ghost staring at him grinning wide.

"Chajas seo..."

(found you...)

-to be continued.

A/N:The theories about the Namanari and Vampires will be needed in later chapters. The hauntings may sound lame... as I am not Jonathan Stroud...And writing about switching into reality is harder than been depicted in an anime..but I hope you enjoyed:)
