In the 40th district of North Rukongai called Minori, Kamito and Est had arrived back to the small house that Kamito was living.
"So is this where you live Kamito?" Est asked.
"Yeah, this is the place," Kamito replied, "it's not much…"
"No, this is fine really," Est said, "let's go inside."
"Yes," Kamito said.
"It really fine place," A female voice said, "it may not seem much but I'm sure that it is comfortable."
Kamito and Est were surprised and Kamito recognized the voice. Kamito and Est turned around and they saw someone that they did expect and it was Restia who was now wearing a dark purple robe with a black sash.
"I'm glad to found you," Restia said with a smile.
Kamito was shocked seeing Restia.
"Restia," Kamito said.
Est was not happy to see Restia and glared at the Dark Elemental Spirit.
"I'm so happy to see you again Kamito," Restia said with a warm smile.
"Restia," Kamito said, "you're really here. Did… did you follow me as well?"
"Yes I did," Restia said, "I wanted to be with you again even though I don't like being here in the Soul Society. My desire to be with you overweighs more than my dislike being here in the Soul Society."
"You don't like being here in the Soul Society?" Kamito asked.
"You have nerve to show up here," Est said suddenly.
Kamito was surprised and looked at Est who was glaring at the Dark Elemental Spirit who just stared back.
"Excuse me, could you not interfere?" Restia responded, "I'm talking to my Kamito. You should step aside."
"Restia," Kamito spoke.
"I won't," Est responded, "if anyone who needs to step aside is you. You're part of the reason why Kamito lost his life in the first place."
"Huh?" Kamito responded, "Est, what are you talking about?"
"Kamito, who do you think sent Jio to the academy to steal the sealed documents?" Est asked.
Kamito was surprised and looked at Restia who looked away with a frown.
"Go ahead and ask her," Est suggested.
"There's no need," Restia said upset, "Because… it is true."
"Restia, you…" Kamito spoke surprised.
"But I never desired for your death!" Restia pointed out, "I was certain that you would succeed against Jio but it did not happen."
"Don't believe her," Est said, "she's lying."
"It is not a lie," Restia said, "and I don't care if you don't believe me," Restia sighed and looked at Kamito, "Kamito, I will explain to you my reason," Restia had a sad expression, "please hear me out."
Kamito looked at Restia and had his thoughts and then he nodded.
"Okay, let's all come inside and talk," Kamito said as he looked at both Est and Restia, "okay?"
"Yes of course," Restia said happily.
Est was not happy but gave in.
"Fine, if that is what you want Kamito," Est said.
Kamito, Est, and Restia went inside Kamito's small house.
District 40 of West Rukongai, Takame, Soul Society
Velsaria came out her new small house and stretched her arms.
"I might as well walk around the district," Velsaria said, "just to get familiar with Takame."
Velsaria went on her way to walk around the district. Velsaria walked around and got to the area where it was a marketplace.
"This must be a marketplace here," Velsaria said.
Velsaria looked around seeing people conversing with each other and transactions going on for vendors and their stalls using kan as currency to buy things. Velsaria walked and looked at the stalls and people talking to each other and some people were buying things. As the blonde haired young woman continued to walk through the marketplace, there was a long black haired golden eyed woman in a white and pink kimono was walking and was being accompanied by two servants that had swords on their hips. Velsaria glanced at the woman and then just went on her way. The two women walked past each other. The woman in the white and pink kimono suddenly stopped.
"Oh, what's that?" The woman said suddenly and turned to face Velsaria, "You there."
"Hmm?" Velsaria responded as he stopped and turned to face the woman, "Did you need something from me?"
"I sense something," The woman said, "something unique… exceptional spirit energy. Spirit energy that is quite…" The woman smiled, "pure."
"Huh, I beg your pardon?" Velsaria responded.
The woman smiled, "I sense a sort of a unique power inside you," The woman walked and got a bit closer to Velsaria, "You're only the third person that I've met with such exceptional spirit energy and if trained, you can be very powerful here."
"My apologies but I have no idea what you're talking about," Velsaria said.
"Hmph, that's okay," The woman said sounding amused, "it's always interesting walking around here in the Rukongai. I've met an interesting soul today, you. Well anyway it's time for me to go but hey, if we're lucky, we might meet again," The woman turned around, "Farewell."
The woman left with her two servants and went on her way and Velsaria just stood there and she was confused.
"That was unexpected, what was that all about?" Velsaria asked herself as she was confused, "That lady is just... unique as to say."
Velsaria went on her walk and shaking her head. She sighed and wondered what she was going to do. After some time, Velsaria walked through the plain area of the fortieth district and she suddenly heard people talking. Velsaria looked and saw five people. Three men were surrounding two men that looked well dressed and they were carrying bags.
"Are those bags for your master in the Seireitei?" One of the men asked, "You just leave them here."
"There must some great things in there," The second man said, "I'm sure the others will be pleased."
"No wait, please," One of the well-dressed men said, "we can't let have them. Our master wants them so we can't just—"
"Shut up!" The third man interrupted and kicked pleading man, "Insist on refusing and you will die."
The third man unsheathed a sword and pointed it at the two men much to their horror. Velsaria saw what was happening and was shocked and decided that she was going to intervene so she rushed over to where the five men were.
"Halt, stop!" Velsaria said.
The five men were surprised and they looked and saw Velsaria who approached them. The three men looked at the young woman and didn't appreciate someone, especially a woman who seemed to want to stop them. The first man went to Velsaria and glared at her.
"Huh, who the hell are you?" The first man asked, "I've never seen you before."
"Hmph, she must be new here," The third man said.
"Oh yeah," The second man said and then turned to Velsaria, "Well whatever, you get the hell out of our sights or…" The second man drew his own sword and pointed at Velsaria, "do you plan to get in our way girl?"
"We can appreciate the fact that you're new here so you're not familiar of how things are here," The third man said.
The former knight looked and saw what was happening.
"What you three are doing is not right," Velsaria commented, "You're trying to rob these men."
"Rob?" The second man asked, "Is that how you see it?"
"This isn't robbery," The third man added.
"Please don't insult my intelligence," Velsaria responded shaking her head, "I know what I am seeing."
"You misunderstand young lady," The first man said, "What we're doing is fighting back against the greedy and selfish nobles of the Seireitei."
"The nobles of the Seireitei?" Velsaria asked, "What are you talking about?"
"Hey, what's the hold up?" A male voice spoke, "What's going on?"
Velsaria and the five men looked and saw tall muscular man was coming. The tall muscular man shirt unkempt black hair and wore a dark red robe and holding his sheathed sword on his shoulder.
"This girl here is implying that we're robbers, thieves," The second man said.
The tall muscular man looked at Velsaria and raised an eyebrow.
"I never seen you here before," The tall man said.
"My name is Velsaria," Velsaria responded, "and I just arrived here."
"So you are new," The tall man said, "figured as much. Since that's the case, I'm going to inform you what's going on. We're fighting in a conflict and that conflict was started by the nobles of the Seireitei."
"The Seireitei," Velsaria said, "I was told that it's the capital of the Soul Society and the people living here are nobles and members of the Soul Society's military branches who are known as the Shinigami, the Gotei 13, the Onmitsukido, and the Kido Corps."
"That's right," The tall man said, "we're basically at war with them."
"War?" Velsaria asked raising an eyebrow.
"That's right, war," The tall man said, "Against the nobles of the Seireitei."
"There is no war," One of the well-dressed man said.
The comment surprised the four men and they were annoyed.
"That's right, nothing is really happening," The second well-dressed man said.
"What was that?" The third man responded.
The two well-dressed men looked at Velsaria with hopefulness.
"No one from the Seireitei is even looking at the people here in Takame," The first well-dressed man said, "except maybe the Shinigami overseeing the district."
"Not only that, we have been accused of being nefarious," The second well-dressed man said, "but that is not the case."
"Don't lie!" The tall man reacted, "You took materials that you plan to take back to your master to help other noble to move against us."
"That is not it at all," The first well-dressed man said, "what we have won't even be used for battle or any conflict."
"What do you have?" Velsaria asked, "If you don't mind me asking."
"Sure," The first well-dressed responded and he and the other well-dressed man opened the bag and showed Velsaria and the four other men, "Take a look."
In the bags were blue flowers which surprised the four men.
"Flowers?" Velsaria asked.
"They're red spider lilies," The tall man said.
"Red spider lilies?" One of the men said, "What the heck are you gathering them for?"
"Decorations for our master and given them out to our master's close friends," The second well-dressed man, "we volunteered to gather the red spider lilies which are known to grow here in Takame. We're not gathering things to fight against the people of this district."
"No one is looking to even fight against the citizens here or any of the districts," The first well-dressed man said, "in fact these flowers couldn't even be used as some sort of weapon. These will actually use as gifts and decorations."
"But how can this be?" The tall man said, "You…"
The tall man stopped himself and thought of some things.
"Well it looks like it was nothing after all," Velsaria said and then looked at the tall man, "right?"
The tall man looked at Velsaria and the two well-dressed man and sighed.
"Fine," The tall man said and he turned to the three other men, "You three, head back to the base."
"Yes sir," The three men said.
The men left and the two well-dressed men sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness we avoided conflict," The first well-dressed man said.
"Indeed and surely our lady will be pleased with the amount we brought back," The second well-dressed man said.
"Your lady?" Velsaria asked.
"Oh yes," The second man said, "She is the head of a minor noble family and she is the one who we serve."
"A minor noble," The tall man spoke, "Hmph…"
"Well I'm glad things were solved," Velsaria said with a smile.
"Yes and we believed you helped solve that," The first well-dressed man said.
"I agree," The second well-dressed man said, "thank you so much."
"You don't need to thank me," Velsaria replied shaking, "I really didn't do anything."
"I disagree," The first well-dressed man said.
"So do I," The second well-dressed man said, "we believed that you really help smooth things over."
The two well-dressed men left and the tall man frowned and folded his arms still holding his sheathed sword.
"I just don't get it," The tall man said.
"What is it?" Velsaria asked looking at the tall man.
"I was told that materials were being taken to help the nobles move in against us," The tall man said, "How could this have happen? Did he give the wrong information?"
"Who are you referring to?" Velsaria asked.
"Huh, what a minute," The tall man said and then he got upset, "this isn't right! Even it was nothing to use against us, we still shouldn't have let them go!"
"D-Do you seriously believe that?" Velsaria replied shocked.
"Yes I do," The tall man said and he turned to Velsaria, "We should have stop them anyway and let them suffer of not having anything to celebrate."
"Don't you think that you're being a bit petty?" Velsaria asked.
"If you were around when an incident happened here in this district, you would have felt the same way," The tall man said and then he sighed, "Well it's too late to do anything about it now."
"What is this incident that you're talking about?" Velsaria asked, "I know I heard it before when I arrived here."
"Hmm you want to know," The tall man said, "In that case, I would like to invite you to our base."
"Your base?" Velsaria asked.
"Yeah, I want you to meet our leader and then you can hear what happened here," The tall man said, "You'll understand why we view the people in the Seireitei as enemies and why we're standing against them."
Velsaria thought about it and nodded.
"Very well," Velsaria said, "I'll check it out."
"Great," The tall man said with a nod.
District 40 of North Rukongai, Minori
Kamito, Est, and Restia were sitting in Kamito's small house.
"To start," Restia said, "Kamito, do you remember the end of the last Blade Dance when you won and we met with the Elemental Lords?"
"To be honest, no I don't really remember," Kamito said, "I can't remember what it was."
"As expected since you lost your memories," Restia said, "the truth is the corruption and the awakening."
"Corruption and awaken?" Kamito asked.
"Yes," Restia said, "Corruption of the Otherworldly Darkness and the awakening of Ren Ashdoll."
"The Otherworldly Darkness and Ren Ashdoll?" Kamito replied and then eyes wide a bit as he recalled something that he saw something that was horrifying, "Wait, I remember something that I saw…"
"You remember something Kamito," Restia said.
"Y-Yeah, sort of," Kamito said.
Est just looked at Kamito and was concerned for him.
Ordesia Empire

It was why she wanted to participate and win the Blade Dance so that she could get her wish which was to learn the truth of what really happened four years ago and wanting to know why her sister did what she did. She wanted to know the truth and then figure out what to do from there. But now it seem as though that it was not going to possible. Claire and her team were not going to be considered to participate in the Blade Dance so her dreams were dashed. Considering that Kamito was killed by Jio and her team failing the mission in Gado which caused backlash as her team as well as the academy as a whole was blamed for the terrible failure with her sister showing up and taking the sealed military spirit. Claire didn't know what to do going to forward as things were closed off for her. Claire stopped which made Scarlet stopped as well and tears welled up in her eyes and as she thinking about Kamito and the night he died.
Flashback: A few nights ago
In the forest within the grounds of the academy, Kamito was confronted by Jio who boasted about being the successor of the Demon King. Kamito protected Fianna whose legs were shaking as she was in fear and still suffered from the trauma four years prior.
"You really have fallen far, haven't you?" Jio said looking down at Kamito, "Going out of your way to save that pathetic loser."
"Fianna is our friend," Kamito replied defiantly.
Kamito was suddenly struck again. Kamito was wide eyed as he looked and saw that Jio had just stabbed Kamito with Falchion and he stabbed him in the heart. Kamito was shocked and he slowly looked up at Jio who gave Kamito a cold glare and Claire and Fianna were shocked and mortified.
"That's what makes you weak," Jio said, "you're pathetic. You're nothing like you were three years ago."
Jio took the sword out of Kamito and the top half of Falchion's blade was coated with Kamito's blood and Kamito fell on the ground as blood seeped from his fatal stab wound and from his mouth.
"I said that killing you wouldn't prove anything," Jio said, "but seeing how weak and pathetic you are—"
"How dare you!" Claire shouted angrily as she went on the offensive against Jio with her Elemental Waffe, "How dare you do that to my slave spirit!"
Jio dodged Claire's attacks easily and then they heard more voices.
"Quick, over there!" A female voice spoke.
"Hmph, time for me to go," Jio said.
Jio quickly took off and was out of sight.
"Come back here!" Claire shouted with tears in her eyes, "How dare you run away!"
Claire then turned and saw Kamito on the ground still bleeding.
"Kamito!" Claire said as she rushed to him.
"Oh Kamito!" Fianna said as she was breaking down, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. This happened because of me."
"Don't blame yourself Fianna," Kamito said, "it's not your fault."
"Kamito, just hand on!" Claire pleaded, "We'll get you help. You'll be all better, you'll see."
"Claire," Kamito said, "I'm sorry. I've let you down."
"What do you mean?" Claire asked.
"I'm sorry," Kamito said, "but I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm sorry… I won't be able to keep my promise to you... to stay with you."
"No, no you can't die!" Claire insisted, "You can't! You're my slave spirit! I didn't give you give you permission to die!"
Flashback End
Claire was crying thing about that terrible memory and Scarlet was sad for her elementalist and went to comfort her. Claire responded by picking up Scarlet and holding her as she cried.
That's it for this chapter. Next chapter: Restia continues with explanation of what happened three years prior and Velsaria gets introduced to a group going against the inhabitants of the Seireitei.
