Somewhere in the Ordesia Empire, Claire was panting as she was holding her Elemental Waffe in one hand and formed a flame in her other hand. She was confronting Muir who was having an Elemental Spirit that was the form of a giant and it was the Elemental Spirit Colossus. Muir was holding her right hand and form of her Cursed Seal was shown on her hand.

"Who are you?" Claire asked, "What do you want?"

"What do I want?" Muir asked, "Oh it's simple. I want you dead."

"Why do want me dead?" Claire asked angrily, "I don't even know who you are. Did someone send you to kill me?"

"No one sent me," Muir replied, "I want you dead because what happened to my dear brother."

"Your brother?" Claire replied confused, "Who are you talking about?"

"Kamito Kazehaya," Muir said, "he was my dear brother… my Onii-sama and he died," Muir stared at Claire with hatred, "you're one of the rotten spoiled girls that caused my Onii-sama's miserable death."

Claire was wide eyed as she was shocked.

"Kamito," Claire said in her head.

"And for that, you deserve to die," Muir said.

Muir commanded Colossus to attack Claire who dodged the attack and countered with a flame attack that hit Colossus. The attack had no effect and stared down Claire.

"Pathetic," Muir said, "you really are weak. Why did Onii-sama associated with a weakling like you? You even had the nerve to order him around."

Claire didn't say anything and Muir glared at the redheaded Elementalist.

"You disgust me," Muir said coldly, "you deserve to die."

"I won't let you kill me," Claire said, "You don't know what it was like losing someone who was there for me."

"You just used him," Muir replied, "you never really cared about him. He was just a tool for you. At least have the decency to not lie through your rotten mouth."

Claire clenched her teeth and she readied herself to defend herself against someone who claimed to be Kamito's sister.

Seireitei, Soul Society

In a manor in the noble district, a young looking man was sitting on a veranda looking at the field of flowers on the property. A servant of the manor was speaking to the young man.

"I see," The young man said, "so Tatsu refused."

"Yes Young Master," The servant said, "that man outright refused."

The young master looked upset hearing what he heard.

"Of course he would," The young man said sadly, "consider what has happened and what my brother did and my father didn't help things."

"Young Master, I don't think it smart to criticize the Master," The servant said.

"You know to be true," The young man replied, "and besides, my father doesn't pay mind to me so I don't he would care what I think."

The servants sighed sadly with being concerned.

District 40 of North Rukongai, Minori

Kamito, Est, and Restia were leaving as they waved at Tatsu and Kota. They walked together and headed back to their home. They later on were walking though the marketplace and looking at various stalls. They went and checked out each of them. They were being watched by several men and they were men who were part of the Oka Gang with Seiichi who looked at Kamito and clenched teeth as he glared at Kamito. Seiichi looked at the other men and nodded at them. Not long afterwards, Kamito, Est, and Restia were walking and arrived back to their home. They were surprise when they saw someone who was standing by their home waiting and it was Okabe.

"Captain Okabe?" Kamito spoke.

Okabe looked and saw Kamito and his two contracted spirits and smiled as he waved at them.

"Hi kid," Okabe said.

Kamito invited Okabe in his small house and Okabe looked around.

"It's been a long time since I have been here," Okabe said.

"Oh yeah, this was originally your home," Kamito said.

"It was," Okabe said, "I haven't been here since I left to be a Shinigami."

"You and Tatsu left and became Shinigami together," Kamito said.

"Oh, did Tatsu tell you that?" Okabe asked.

"Yeah, he told me that he was a Shinigami as well until that incident that happened with the forbidden ritual that caused deaths at another district and caused Tatsu to lose most of his powers," Kamito said.

"I see," Okabe said, "he told you about that."

"Captain Okabe, are you familiar with the Gensofuji Family?" Kamito asked.

"I am," Okabe said, "in fact, I actually heard that three vassals of the Gensofuji family came here in the attempt to recruit Tatsu."

"Yeah but Tatsu refused," Kamito replied.

"I figured as much," Okabe said with a nod, "there was no way he was going to give in to what they want not after since one of the members of the family was the one who caused that damn disaster. Now talking about the past was not why I came here but before that…"

Okabe looked at Restia who smiled.

"Hello there," Restia said, "I am Restia."

"Restia," Okabe said, "it's nice to meet you. I'm Masanori Okabe, I'm a Captain of the Gotei 13."

"Yes, I am familiar with that," Restia said, "Kamito told me about you."

"I see," Okabe said, "then that makes it easier. Anyway," Okabe looked at Kamito with a serious expression, "Kamito, I came to talk to you about something."

"Okay, what is it?" Kamito asked as he was concerned with the look the 10th Division Captain was going to talk about.

"Kamito, have you thought about becoming a Shinigami?" Okabe asked.

Kamito, Restia, and Est were surprised in what Okabe just said.

"You want me to be a Shinigami?" Kamito asked.

"I do," Okabe replied, "I really believe that you are suited to be a Shinigami. You have amazing spirit energy and you have skill. With the right training, you can become a very skill and powerful Shinigami."

"I think you're giving me too much credit," Kamito said.

"No, in fact I don't think I am giving you enough," Okabe replied, "I heard that you were able to defeat a Hollow by yourself, the same Hollow that was able to defeat and kill four of my subordinates even though they were traitors and then there's the fact that you were able to fight and defeat that thing… the one called Ifrit the fire spirit."

"You really want me to be a Shinigami," Kamito said.

"I do," Okabe said, "it would be a shame to let talent like yours go to waste."

"If I was to accept, how would I even proceed?" Kamito asked.

Restia looked at Kamito with concern.

"Well the first thing for you would be learn and train in the Shin'o Academy," Okabe said.

"The Shin'o Academy?" Kamito asked.

"It's the school in the Seireitei where they teach and train people to be Shinigami," Okabe said, "It's a six-year curriculum course. After that, you would be recruited in one of divisions of the Gotei 13 or be recruited in either the Onmistukido or the Kido Corps."

"The Kido Corps," Est said, "Tatsu was part of the Kido Corps."

"Yes he was," Okabe said.

"Kamito, I don't think it would be good idea for you to be a Shinigami," Restia said.

Kamito, Est, and Okabe looked at Restia.

"You don't think so?" Kamito asked.

"I don't think so," Restia said, "I know so. You don't need to be a Shinigami. If anything happens, you have me and I will protect you."

"Should you really be saying that?" Okabe asked.

"Kamito doesn't need to be a Shinigami," Restia insisted, "he doesn't need to do anything."

"May I ask why you are against it?" Okabe asked.

"Do you really need to ask?" Restia replied, "Kamito doesn't need to be part of such a flawed organization and the Gotei 13 is truly is flawed. The story that Tatsu told us reinforces that."

"Restia," Kamito said.

"Kamito Kazehaya!" A male voice yelled, "Get out here you bastard!"

The four people in the house were surprised.

"Is that…?" Est spoke.

Kamito stood up. Outside, Seiichi and several men were standing and waiting. The door opened and Kamito stepped out and walked as he looked around.

"Oh so it's you," Kamito said and then he pointed at Seiichi, "Seiichi, right?"

"That's right you punk," Seiichi said.

"What do you want?" Kamito asked.

"Do you think we would let you get away with what you did?" Seiichi asked.

"What are you talking?" Kamito asked.

Est and Restia came out and looked on.

"After what you did by ruining everything," Seiichi said angrily, "and now our leader has been taken by the Shinigami. There is no doubt they are imprisoning him."

"I fail to see how that is my problem," Kamito replied as he glared at Seiichi, "as far as I'm concern, Kenji Oka brought it upon himself and don't think I have forgotten how he intended to kill anyone who wouldn't bow to him. As far as I'm concern, he got what he deserved."

"You little…" Seiichi said as he and the other men were angry.

"If that is all, then I ask you to please leave," Kamito said, "I don't want to deal with you people anymore."

"Do you think you're in any position to make demands from us?" Seiichi asked, "We came here to teach you a lesson and damn it, we are going to do that."

"Oh and how do you plan to do that?" Okabe said suddenly.

Seiichi and the other men were surprised as they looked and saw Okabe coming out of Kamito's house.

"You're that Shinigami Captain," One of men said.

"I'm curious, how are you going teach the boy a lesson?" Okabe asked, "Surely you haven't forgotten how he handled with Oka when he tried to eliminate him. How do any of you think you're going to get him? Do you think you're getting him with numbers?"

The men were caught off guard seeing Okabe.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Seiichi asked looking at Okabe.

"It was just coincidence," Okabe said, "but I don't think you should worry about me being here."

Seiichi clenched his teeth seeing Okabe and then he looked at Kamito who just stared at him.

"So what are you going to do about it?" Kamito asked Seiichi.

Seiichi looked at the men with him and they were making small movements and then they rushed over with the attempt to grab Est and Restia. However the two easily countered by knocking them down. This surprised Seiichi as the plan failed and Kamito looked around and realized what was planned.

"You were trying to take Restia and Est and tried to hold them hostage to make me submit?" Kamito spoke as he gave Seiichi a death glare, "Big mistake."

"S-So what?" Seiichi replied, "I just think that you—"

Seiichi didn't get to finish what he was going to say as Kamito punched him hard in the face and knocked him down on the ground. Kamito then proceeded to viciously punch Seiichi in the face repeatedly. The other men saw Kamito punch Seiichi in the face multiple times and were shocked. Okabe placed his hand on Kamito's shoulder and Kamito looked at Kamito and stopped and got up leaving Seiichi on the ground in pain and bloody from the punched.

"Seiichi, you and your crew made a huge mistake going after Restia and Est," Kamito said, "you stay away from me and from my girls. If you try me again, it'll a lot worse."

Seiichi clenched his teeth as he was still in pain. Afterwards, Seiichi and the men with him left in pain from the punishment they suffered from Kamito and the two contracted spirits.

"Hmph, what pathetic men," Restia said.

"It was stupid of them to even make the attempt," Est said.

"This isn't the first time," Kamito said, "remember what Kota said. They tried to intimidate others with no avail. Ever since Kenji was taken, people are not intimidated by them anymore. In the end, Kenji was the real threat and without him, they can't really do anything to anyone. Speaking of which," Kamito turned to Okabe, "Captain Okabe, what's going on with Kenji Oka?"

"He's in custody right now," Okabe said.

"Is that all?" Kamito asked.

"Yes, that is all that I know," Okabe said, "I don't know much of anything else."

"I see," Kamito said.

"But anyway Kamito, about what we spoke earlier," Okabe said.

"Oh that," Kamito said, "I don't know. I'm not sure if it really is a good fit for me."

"You don't need to do it Kamito," Restia said, "You don't need to be a Shinigami."

Okabe looked at Restia and then looked at Est.

"Est, what do you think about this?" Okabe asked.

"It doesn't matter to me," Est replied, "whatever Kamito decides, I will support him. I am his sword after all whether or not he decides in what he does make no difference to me."

"I see," Okabe said and nodded, "well there is time. Kamito, the entrance exams to enter the Shin'o Academy happens every year and it just happens that the last entrance exam had already occurred just last week but will occur again next year and I would suggest that you take part of it. Just think about it."

"There's nothing to think about it," Restia insisted, "Kamito doesn't need to be a Shinigami."

Okabe looked at Restia and then back to Kamito.

"Just think about it," Okabe said, "I really believe you will do well as a Shinigami. Who knows, you might be able to exceed expectations."

Okabe then turned and left and Kamito, Restia, and Est watched as the 10th Division Captain of the Gotei 13 left.

"Kamito, surely you're not planning in about actually doing what he suggested," Restia said.

"I'll think about it," Kamito said, "Captain Okabe isn't rushing me, he actually wants to me to really think about it. I have until a year to decide."

"Kamito, I really don't think you should do it," Restia insisted.

"You think it's a bad idea?" Kamito asked.

"I know it is," Restia said.

Kamito then turned to Est, "Est, what about you? What do you really think?"

"Like I said, it makes no difference to me," Est said, "if you decide to do it, then I will support you," Est held onto Kamito, "I'll follow you wherever you go and I'll protect you."

"Holy Sword, do you not realize that Kamito can be protected by not doing it?" Restia asked.

"Vorpal Sword, why are you against what Kamito wants to do?" Est asked.

"I'm just looking after him," Restia said, "the Shinigami, the Gotei 13 is extremely flawed. They don't really help their own members."

"Are you concern with Tatsu told us?" Est asked.

"That's part of it," Restia said, "I'm familiar with the Gotei 13, the Seireitei, all of the Soul Society for thousand years. After all, thousand years ago, there was a link between the Soul Society and the Astral Zone which connected to the Human World."

"A link?" Kamito asked.

"Yes," Restia said and then she turned to Est, "don't you don't remember."

"Of course I remember," Est said, "after all, it was during the time fighting the Demon King himself."

"Wait, Kamito spoke surprised, "Do you mean…?"

"Yes," Restia said with a nod.

District 40 of West Rukongai, Takame

Members of the Yarikawa Clan were quietly moving and getting to the top of an overpass. They all kneeled down and saw five people and they were men who were well-dressed.

"There they are," Jiro said.

"Hmph, servants of the despicable Gensofuji Clan," Katsuie said.

"It seems that the information we received was accurate after all," Shigure said.

They observed the five men who formed a circle and had brought out talismans and talked to each other in discussing their intent to use them. They then made their move.

"I really don't like this," One of the Gensofuji servants said, "I don't understand why we're doing this. The master is really trying to test the limits."

"We all know that but there's nothing we can do about it," Another Gensofuji servant said, "the master wants it done and we can't defy him. You know what happens to those that do so."

"Be quiet," Another Gensofuji servant said, "let's do what we came here do and get out here."

"But this is not good," Another servant said, "we'll be in huge trouble if we get found out especially the spells that we've been ordered to use are strictly forbidden. If a Shinigami finds us or worse, one the district residents here find us… especially Jiro Yarikawa and his crew… we know that Jiro Yarikawa is here in this district."

"No one is going know," Another Gensofuji servant assured, "we were told that this is the best place and that one in this district and no one in the Seireitei will find out. We'll be fine"

"Oh but that's where you're wrong!" Jiro's voice said.

The five servants were shocked and they turned and saw the Yarikawa Clan with Jiro leading them as he was glaring at the servants of the Gensofuji Clan.

"Your scheme to harm people ends," Katsuie declared.

Jiro and his followers drew their swords and were ready to take them down. The five servants of the Gensofuji Clan were shocked and couldn't believe what was happening.

"No, no, no!" One of the Gensofuji servants said, "How… how did you find us?"

"You shouldn't worry about how we find you out," Shigure said, "you should worry about bad we're going to do to you."

"You bastards should have never come here," Katsuie added.

"Wait please whatever you may think, we didn't want to be here," The third Gensofuji servant said, "we're following orders. We don't have a choice."

"Hah, then don't hate us," Jiro pointed out with contempt, "Hate your master for giving you your orders."

The five Gensofuji servants clenched their teeth and cursed themselves for having the worse luck.

That's it for this chapter. Next chapter: An attack against the Yarikawa Clan and Velsaria gets caught in the middle.
