His parents and Paisley looked at him like he was crazy. He had just finished telling them who he invited.
Roman cleared his throat. He could tell his mom was mad, but his dad, he could never read.
"Okay, so, let me get this straight. You invited both girls without asking if you could.", he said.
Rao nodded.
"Why?", his mom asked.
"I felt bad. Dad gave them a second chance, why shouldn't everyone else.", Rao replied.
Paisley relaxed and smiled.
"They hurt Faith", his mom said.
"Not on purpose. They were only doing as they were told. If you and dad asked the same of me, I would do it in a heartbeat.", Rao said.
"We would never ask that", his mom said.
"But if you did, I would. Why? Because I love you both and I trust that you are asking me to do what is right.", Rao said.
Roman looked at his wife.
"Kid makes a point", he said.
Lynn glared at him and Roman chuckled.
"Baby, you know deep down he is making a good point", Roman said.
Lynn sighed.
"Roselynn", Roman said.
She finally nodded and looked at her son.
"You did good, and you both make good points. They do deserve a second chance, but its their last one", she said.
Both her husband and son nodded.
"Since this was your great idea, you will be telling your cousin you invited her", Lynn said to her son.
Rao nodded.
"Yes ma'am", he replied.
She kissed his forehead.
"Such a good boy", she said softly.
He smiled.
Bayley had been fast asleep when she felt Santiago between her legs. Not his body, but his head.
She woke up and looked down to see him kissing and nipping her thigh.
"We should stop. If your mom comes homeā¦", he cut her off.
"I don't care. I want you and she is just going to have to deal", he replied, before burying his tongue inside her.
She arched off the bed and moaned. He was good at that.
"Yes", she panted.
Once he was done, he moved over her and smiled.
"So?", he asked.
She couldn't help but smile.
"That was amazing. You're amazing", she replied.
He leaned down and kissed her.
Once the vans pulled into their house, Faith and Hazel walked out front. Javier had just pulled in and set his bags down by the van.
Their uncle and aunt getting off and hugging them.
"Are your mom and dad ready?", their aunt Lynn asked.
"Just about", Hazel replied.
Faith was making her way towards the van to say hi to her cousins. They all got off and she stopped when she made eye contact with Breanne.
Her smile slipped. Rao noticed and stepped forward.
"We invited them. They'll be staying in the guest house", Rao quickly jumped in.
Faith looked at her cousin before nodding and walking past them. She hugged Serenity and rubbed her tiny bump.
"Any movement yet?", she asked.
Serenity shook her head no.
"I can't wait though. My aunt Lynn said it's the most amazing feeling ever. Only something shared between mom and baby", Serenity said.
Faith smiled. She could see the happiness on her cousin's face.
"What about you Anthony? Excited?", she asked.
He nodded and smiled at Serenity.
"I want time to move just a little bit faster. I can't wait to meet her", he replied.
Serenity giggled.
"He swears it's a girl", she said.
Faith giggled. She could feel Breanne watching her, but she didn't want to look in her direction.
Bayley woke up in Santiago's arms. When she turned to face him, she realized he was awake and watching her.
He smiled and brushed her hair away from her face.
"How did you sleep?", he asked.
"Fine", she replied.
"Just fine?", he asked.
She blushed.
"Better than I have in years", she added.
He nodded.
"Me too. I just woke up before you and I couldn't help myself. You're so beautiful to look at", he said.
She leaned in and kissed him gently.
"You know this can't work, right?", she asked.
"Why? Because of our age difference? That shouldn't matter. What matters is how I feel about you and how you feel about me", he said.
She sighed.
"Or what, you don't feel anything for me?", he asked.
She swallowed and then opened her mouth.
"Tell me you don't feel anything, and I will leave you alone", he added.
She couldn't speak. He nodded and started to stand. He started getting dressed and she wanted to reach out and stop him.
She couldn't do it though.
"Thanks, I guess", he said, before walking out, slamming the door behind him.
Once at the beach house, everyone went to their rooms. Rao stopped and showed Breanne and Sabrina where they would be staying.
"If you need anything, just walk through that door and it will lead you to the main house.", he said.
They both nodded and he left them to it. Both girls looked around and then picked a room.
"How was it seeing her?", Sabrina asked.
"Felt good, but then seeing the look on her face and knowing I'm the reason for it, made me sick", she replied.
Sabrina nodded.
"Maybe you could try to talk to her. Ask her for a second chance.", Sabrina said.
"I will", Breanne nodded.
Sabrina smiled.
The next morning, Sasha and Bayley were making breakfast. Santiago walked in with his bags and set them down.
Both women looked at him.
"And where are you off too?", his mom asked.
He shrugged.
"On a little trip. Need to think about a few things", he said, feeling Bayley watching him, but he couldn't look her way.
Sasha smiled at him.
"Maybe go and see your dad", Sasha suggested.
He nodded.
"Yeah, maybe", he said.
"Well, have a safe trip. Don't let it be too long before you come back to visit", Sasha said, hugging her son.
He nodded. Santiago grabbed his bags and started towards his car. Bayley paced in the kitchen.
Who knew how long he would be away, or if he would ever come back. She sighed and made her way out front.
He was putting his bags in the back. He stopped and turned to face her, against his better judgement.
He sighed. She quickly made her way down the steps. He smiled and caught her as she flew into his arms.
"Don't go", she quickly said.
He met her eyes.
"I'm begging you, please don't go", she repeated.
He rested his forehead against hers.
