1998
Both Jindrax and Toxica looked on with the crowd as Astronema was asking where the rangers were. She was aided by her general Ecliptor who was right next to her.
Despite the fact that she could not get an answer, Astronema grew upset trying to find where the space rangers were being kept hidden in the crowd. Fed up, she went to plan b where she proclaimed that the entire planet would be destroyed.
"Man, she's cold blooded," Jindrax said as he looked on from some rubble caused by Astronema's forces. "No way Master Org could deal with her or even the rest of the United Alliance of Evil right now."
Toxica sighed. "So it comes down to this. After being here for all this time, our fate is sealed," Toxica lamented. "She will destroy everyone here and win."
Jindrax shrugged his shoulders. "Kind of weird that we're supposedly bad guys and we're scared for our own demise," he added. "I mean Astronema is going to take over."
"I wonder what she would do if she found out if we're orgs," Toxica questioned.
"I don't think she knows what an org is nor does she care," Jindrax stated the obvious knowing full well that orgs were no match for all the space aliens and bad guys like Astronema that lurked out in the trenches of space.
Suddenly, both orgs turned to their attention to the civilians. They started to say they were power rangers too. One stepped up and said he was the blue ranger. Another stepped up and said he was the black ranger. Then another as the red ranger, then the pink ranger, the silver ranger, and the yellow ranger. Then other civilians came up and proclaimed they were all rangers too.
As Toxica and Jindrax looked on at the crowd for being brave, they looked at each other astonished.
"These humans have courage and gumption," Jindrax said.
Astronema and Ecliptor wasted no time and targeting all of the civilians after they stepped up and said they were rangers. However, both stopped as something else happened.
"Hold it right there!" a voice said from the distance.
"We are the power rangers," another voice said.
Astronema and her forces stopped as they and the civilians gazed on. There, everyone saw five teenagers. One in black clothing, followed by a female in pink, followed by another in silver and white, followed by another female in yellow, and finally another man in blue.
"Ready!" The man in blue cried out.
"Let's rock it!" All five teenagers said.
Suddenly the five teenagers transformed into the power rangers. The civilians in the streets were cheering.
"Silver, black, pink, blue, yellow!" The five rangers called out their respective colors.
"You've gone too far, Astronema!" The silver ranger said. "Are you ready guys?"
"Right! Let's do it!" The other four rangers cried out.
Suddenly all five jumped off from the top of where they were at and started to battle the Quantrons and Piranhatrons. The civilians started to join in the fight as well.
"Alright! Go rangers!" Toxica triumphantly called out.
"Let's go help the humans," Jindrax said.
Toxica looked puzzled at her companion. "Us? Orgs helping the humans?"
"Do you want the rangers to lose and live under Astronema and the United Alliance of Evil's shadow?" Jindrax knew far too well what would happen if Astronema took over the planet even if Master Org never resurfaced.
"Good point!" Toxica said.
Both ran out and started helping the civilians take on Astronema's army. Sometime later, they saw a bright light emanating from the sky that rushed through the area.
Astronema's army was being taken down and turning into sand. The piranhatrons and quantrons, Elgar, everything.
"Oh my god! Hold on Toxica!" Jindrax cried out as he grabbed onto his friend. Jindrax felt something in his mind telling him the bright light he was looking out was something of pure good that could destroy evil. Both were holding each other for dear life as the light passed through them. However, unlike everything else that was evil, Toxica and Jindrax did not turn into sand.
Both looked at each other, hugged each other, and cheered. They were unaffected.
"What just happened?" Toxica was curious.
Jindrax felt something in his body like something had gone away. He knew what it was and began to explain. "Zordon sacrificed himself and the bright light that hit us was his remaining essence."
"So if that was Zordon, then he must have taken out all of the evil," Toxica deduced. "But if that's the case, why are we still here?"
"We must not be evil enough," Jindrax thought of the only reasonable conclusion. "In the grand scheme of things, we're not that important."
"Maybe because we were also helping out on the side of good," Toxica added.
"Perhaps," Jindrax pondered.
Despite the fact both of them wondered, they were grateful to be alive.
