ENJOY!

Chapter 2

Ryan groaned as he started to wake up, his sight fading in and out before it began to clear as kept his eyes shut, the loud ringing in his ears died down to a dull ringing.

He tried moving, but found he couldn't, which made him snap his eyes open to realize all he sees is darkness and a coldness on his body.

"Man, it's freaking cold." Ryan said, shivering a bit as he tried to keep his teeth from chattering.

He took a few seconds to remember he was in his power armor, making him mentally slap himself before hoping that everything is good and it will start up.

"Please, please, please." Ryan muttered repeatedly as he braced himself before speaking clearly, doing his best to keep from shivering.

"Voice command, start up." Ryan said as clearly as he could, praying it would work.

His answer came as he saw a small bar appear in front of his vision as it begun to fill up, being slow before it picked up the pace for about a minute or two, Ryan couldn't tell since he can't see a clock.

After the bar was filled it disappeared, only to be replaced by many screens showing one by one which systems are online, offline, the armor being damaged or fully functional.

Ryan saw many of them still being online, only being a bit damaged, making him sigh in relief as the screens disappeared before the HUD cleared and allowed him to see, it also scanning everything within his sight and about 20 feet in a radius all around him.

"I'm so glad I built this thing as a behemoth of a machine." Ryan said to himself as he was able to move a bit, taking it slow as he was still sore.

He looked down as best as he could and saw he was half buried in large concrete slabs, making him widen his eyes.

"Now I'm really glad I built this as a behemoth." Ryan muttered as he looked at the slabs over his legs, left arm, and part of his torso. A few seconds later he felt his body start to warm up, he looked at the side of the HUD to see the pilot temperature system activate along with the other temp systems.

"Hope the electric actuators and electric hydraulics will be enough for this." Ryan said to himself as he reached over with his free arm, pausing a moment to see ice on his arm break off.

"How long was I out for?" Ryan muttered in confusion as he resumed what he was doing and gripped the slab over his left arm, reacting in surprise as the spot he gripped shattered into rubble.

"Jesus, I expected the armor to be strong, but not this strong." Ryan said to himself as he now tried moving his left arm, not expecting the slab to fly into the air a few feet before it slammed into the ground.

Ryan stared, wide eyed.

"Alright. Up ya get." Ryan said as he pushed himself into a sitting position and slowly lifted the slab over his legs before dropping it off to the side and stood up, now seeing the scratches and slight dents all over the armor.

"Nothing a little bit of elbow grease and hard work can't fix." Ryan said as he looked around at the frozen wasteland he's in.

"Jeez, I knew it would be bad, but I didn't expect this." Ryan muttered as he looked around at all the destruction.

"Well, I'm not going to get anything done just standing here." Ryan said as he took a few steps forward before stopping after noticing something.

He looked down at his feet before looking back up, after a few moments took another step then stopped again.

Then he leaped forward with a small bit of force.

He went flying through the air for about 10 to 15 feet before landing with a hard slam and slide a bit.

He looked back to where he was a few moments ago before facing forward again with a deadpan look.

"Voice command, force feedback system on." Ryan said in a flat tone, he saw the HUD show the requested system now on. He leaped forward again after a few seconds, only to see he went the normal distance if he wasn't wearing his power armor.

"Good. Now let's get going, I'm gonna have to find somewhere secure and out of this cold." Ryan said to himself before he heard a loud rumble, making him look at the source, that being his stomach.

He looked up and saw the time and date on his HUD, showing he's been out for two day's, about to be three.

"Food first. Very, very big thing to do now." Ryan said as he reached for a spot on the right side of his waist and opened a hidden compartment to pull out handfuls of granola bars. He put them back and closed the compartment before looking for a building that can keep the cold wind out the best.

"This is going to suck." Ryan muttered as he started trudging through the snow, his armor boots thumping with each step.

TIMESKIP

2 years have come and gone.

Ryan was able to find a massive bunker in the city, which had, to his happiness and delight, all the basic things he'll need. It looked like it was without power for a long time, so he had to sleep in his armor again until he was able to get the power on.

He also found a lot of food stored within one of the many storage rooms, he converted many of the rooms into gardens to grow the food he was able too, along with getting more of the basic needs, he was also glad he was able to shower a long time.

He also was able to find a couple of fabricators, he uses them to make things he's not able to, all he needs to do is press the requested item he wants, it shows him a list of what's needed for it and he gets what was on the list. He focused mainly on resource based things first, so when he needs to make something else, he will have a steady supply of resources for whatever he needs to work on.

Right now he is walking to his power armor workshop, he has workshops for everything, a weapons workshop, a workshop for just messing around with building things, stuff like that.

Ryan walked through the door as music, Iconic by prototyperaptor, played throughout the bunker at a low volume, enough to hear comfortably. He stood in front of his armor as it was fixed with no scratches and dents with a matte Grey paint coat over the entirety of it to help blend in with snow or darkness around him.

"Alrighty then, let's get going shall we?" Ryan said to himself as he got into the armor, it started up as soon as he opened it.

After he inside he walked to the massive door of the bunker and it opened after he swiped his hand in view of the keypad, the door opening in the middle with a slight groan before it opened fully, allowing him to see the rubble and ruined buildings that hid the entrance, making glad he came upon this bunker by pure chance.

He took off as it was now mid morning, allowing him plenty of time to patrol and look for things he needs without worrying about the murder drones out and about as they only come out at night.

He knew they wouldn't attack him if they knew he was human, but they don't because they wouldn't believe him unless he showed them, but he didn't want to get out of his armor in the blistering cold that could give him frostbite within a few minutes if he wasn't careful.

He walked to the side of the entrance where he place three large metal barrels of oil and picked one up and had straps hold it to the back of his armor before he picked the other two up and started walking into the city, with them under each arm.

"Now let's get these to the murder drones area, hopefully this will keep them good, even though they tried to kill me on multiple occasions or observe me." Ryan said and muttered the last bit as he continued walking through the city before seeing the murder drones hideout, which he calls 'corpse mount, considering it made of hundreds of worker drones dead bodies. Seeing it always sends a slight shiver down his spine.

"Let's get this over with." Ryan muttered as he started getting closer, having all sensors and scanners running to make sure no surprises pop up, like last time. Nearly took one of the murder drones claws to the face.

He stopped just outside the entryway and sat the two barrels under his arm down and moved them within the shadow of the corpse mountain, keeping a constant vigil around and in front of him as he can see the pod the murder drones came in.

He reached for the third barrel on his back and took it off and set it down behind him, not bringing it in front of him, which the process of doing could block his view and he didn't want to do that as he felt something was watching him, making him nervous.

"Slow and steady." Ryan kept repeating quietly to himself as he started to move around the barrel, still facing forward, until he was behind the barrel and lifted it up a bit and moved it within the shadow next to the other two barrels.

He paused in movement when he heard quiet feminine giggling, making him shiver inside his armor a bit.

"Shit." Ryan muttered as he heard the giggling again in response before silence reigned and he stayed absolutely still, the only sound being the wind.

Alarms started blaring in his armor as it caught something coming down on him from above, making him react on instinct and leaped forward, over the barrels, not realizing until the last second he went into their territory.

"Double shit." Ryan said outlook as his shoulders sagged a bit after standing from the roll he did, catching the giggling again, this time crazed giggling.

"TRIPLE SHIT!" Ryan yelled as he leaped from his spot as the kill happy murder drones landed where he was just moments ago.

He landed and spoke quietly in a hurried tone.

"Voice command, force feedback system off." Ryan muttered as he saw a notification show that the system is offline now before it vanished, making him leap again, this time much farther and higher if needed, and landed close to the pod before he took off for the entrance before the other female murder drone joins, he's not worried too much about the male one.

He leaped again as he saw the other female drone appear in front of him, going over her as he flipped and landed behind her, making a good amount of snow get tossed up before he started sprinting, going much faster than before, the force of his steps launching him forward with each step.

"Nope, nope, nope, nope, NOPE!" Ryan yelled at the end in a hurried tone as he leaned forward to dodge a swipe from the formally dressed female drone to the back of his head.

"SORRY BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE TO STAY AND CHAT BUT I GOT TO GO!" Ryan yelled as he leaped through the entrance, dodging another claw swing from the kill-happy drone. Midway through the roll he's in for landing, he saw the face of the formally dressed drone blush massively.

"Hopefully this doesn't come to bite me in the ass." Ryan thought to himself as he sprinted away, dodging bullets that come at him before they stopped, he looked over his shoulder to see the formal dress one stop the kill happy one from continuing to fire at him.

He soon left their sight as he started looking through buildings to find things he would need after turning the force feedback system back on.

"Let's see what we got here." Ryan said to himself as he walked through a building to see many things scattered around.

He soon found a couple of refrigerators, he looked for one in the best condition, once he did he started moving it to the front of the building, as he did so he saw something moving in the distance. He looked over to see a few worker drones vanish from his sight around a building.

"There they go again." Ryan said to himself, whenever he goes to them, they bolt, freaking out and when he gets around the corner they go around, they are gone.

Ryan sighed to himself as he hoisted the refrigerator onto his back and had clamps hold onto it. He looked up and saw that it is now sometime in the afternoon.

"Better hurry it up and get back. Don't want to get my ass chased again." Ryan said as he started walking back to the bunker with the fridge.

After some time he finished setting the fridge up in one of the kitchens that didn't have a fridge yet, letting it settle as power went through it again in an unknown amount of time.

"I'm going to regret this." Ryan said to himself as he got ready to head out as it was now night, which the murder drones would be out.

He started through the city after leaving the bunker, keeping to the shadows as best as he could, trying to stay out of sight of any of the murder drones, preferably the kill happy one.

"That doesn't help with the feeling of being watched again." Ryan thought to himself as he slowly looked around as he stalked through the alleys between buildings, not noticing the glowing yellow eyes watching him high up with what looked like a blush and a slight panting sound.

UNKNOWN LOCATION

Uzi looked at her necklace in her hand as she watched the full square have a dim glow in the center of it, letting her know that Ryan is still alive out there.

"I'll find you Ryan, somehow, someway, I will find you." Uzi said as she gripped the necklace softly with a small, soft smile as she held it to her chest with closed eyes.

Hope you all liked it, if you did tell me in a review, leave a follow, a favorite, all of the GOOD stuff. I'm really hoping a category for Murder Drones is made, like Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. Also it is around midnight right now, specifically 12:11, so I'm very sleepy.

Review, favorite, follow, all the GOOD stuff and don't forget to do the same for my other stories you like.
