Heyyyy, Happy McIntyre Monday all! I figured I put out a new chapter...just because. :D
I do not own anyone affiliated with the WWE...only Lucy
Enjoy! :)
Previously...
"Keep that up King McIntyre and I'm sure I'll be falling in love with you in no time," Lucy says, pressing a kiss to my lips and deepens it by running her tongue along my lower lip, asking for entrance that I gladly grant her as the action pulls a moan from me. She breaks the kiss much too quickly for my liking and rests her forehead against mine, "but until then," she breathes and pulls away from me altogether, sauntering teasingly away from me, that I get up and follow her out of the tent.
Lucy POV
"Until then, what?" Drew asks, wrapping me up in his arms, placing a kiss to my neck before blowing raspberries there. The action causes me to squeal out in happiness. The noise catches the attention of those around us, but Drew and I don't seem to care. I'm sure these men are not use to seeing their King in such a…playful mood. I'm sure not this affectionate either; at least not in public nor in front of them.
"That tickles," I giggle, curling in closer to Drew's large frame with his continued flirting.
"Why won't you tell me?" Drew asks, feigning like he's offended that I won't answer his question. I pull us back to the tent where I was first brought to, where Drew and I will have at least a little bit more privacy.
"Because otherwise it'll ruin our fun along the way," I reply to Drew softly, turning towards him, but only to be met with his chest in my face. I look up at Drew and rest my hands on his prominent pectoral muscles, providing him with a small closed mouth smile.
Drew rests his hands on my waist, pulling me closer to him and lightly runs them up and down my sides, before they settle on my hips. "Yes, maybe fun for you, but not so much for me. I don't know what's going on up in that gorgeous head of yours, love and it's torture not knowing," he replies, whispering his last sentence.
Breaking eye contact with Drew, I focus my attention on the strings of his shirt and pull them free, revealing a small portion of his chest hair. I place my lips to it, pressing small kisses across the open area and it pulls a quiet groan from the large Scotsman. "Lucy," he whispers, his voice turning husky.
His grip on my hips tighten a fraction and I look up at him through my lashes, seeing a lustful but pained look in his eyes. "Sorry," I whisper and retie the strings and step away from Drew, finding the closet seat to me and sit down.
I look up to find him watching me and it looks like he has composed himself some from my actions. "I've never had any type of relationship, let alone a romantic one, so seeing you react to me doing such a simple gesture, I was not expecting it. I'll…I'll try to refrain from doing so again," I say to Drew and hang my head down.
I hear Drew close the distance between us and I look up at him with sorry eyes as he crouches down in front of me, my eyes following him, "Lucy, no. That is the last thing I want you to do. I was just unprepared for it and well…my reaction to it," Drew replies, almost embarrassed, but he recovers quickly. "It took everything in me to not act on my instinct feeling. Believe me when I say that I want you, but I'm not going to touch you or do anything of that sort until you are ready…okay?" Drew tells me softly and I nod my head at him.
"Okay," I reply with a shy smile. "I…I do want that too and I think I'm ready, I just don't know how to…respond to it without acting irrational about it. I did really enjoy this morning, though," I tell Drew and he smiles up at me.
"Well, if that is all you are comfortable with, right now, then we'll stick to that until you're ready for more. The reigns are in your hands, you control the pace we go and what we do," Drew says, reaching up to gently hold my chin in between his thumb and forefinger, lightly caressing the skin there.
"Thank you," I reply quietly and get to my feet, bringing Drew with me. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I pull Drew down slightly as I step on my tip toes to press a kiss to his lips.
"You're welcome, love," Drew replies just as quietly and pulls me against him, "you seem to be getting much more bolder with your advances and I have to say, I'm loving it," Drew tells me, giving my hips a light squeeze as he grins down at me.
I shrug my shoulders, returning his grin, "I'm realizing, I don't want to live my life alone anymore, now that I've found you. Besides Randy, you're the only one to show me any sort of kindness and understanding. Then again, you two are the only ones I've really been around since being brought here," I say and play with Drew's hair at the nape of his neck. "Which by the way, when do we head back? To the castle I mean…home," I stutter out, shyly and Drew smirks down at me.
"You're cute when you're all nervous. It makes me happy to know I put it there because I know it's there for the right reasons," Drew says and leans his face down to rub his nose against mine with a smile before pulling away once more, "but to answer your question; we leave tomorrow morning at daybreak. It's about a day or two journey back home," he adds.
Apparently he can see the look in my eyes because he answers my silent question before I even have a chance to ask it, "and yes, you will be riding with me. That is, unless you prefer to have your own horse," Drew offers me and I shake my head no.
"While having my own horse sounds appealing, I'd rather ride with you instead," I reply and my response develops a huge smile on Drew's face.
"I was hoping you'd say that, because I can't wait to have you close and in my arms for two whole days," Drew says happily and closes the distance between us by pulling me up against him. I gasp at the contact with his hard body and I can feel his soft member poking me in the belly through his kilt.
I instantly become red upon…feeling Drew, that I do the opposite of what I'm sure he expected me to do, I look down to avoid eye contact with him and press my hands against his chest, pushing away.
"Lucy, is everything alright?" Drew asks me when I put a little bit of distance between us. When I don't answer and continue to avoid eye contact with him, Drew closes the distance I created. "Lucy, please…talk to me. What did I do? Did I say something wrong?" He asks me, his tone sounding worried and upset.
I wrap my arms around me, but allow Drew to turn me towards him. I look up at him to find hurt radiating through those beautiful blue orbs. Ones that I've come to appreciate the last couple of days. "Baby, please talk to me. What did I do wrong?" Drew whispers as he cups the side of my face.
I instinctively turn my face into his palm and nuzzle the skin there before looking back up at him. "You didn't do anything wrong, Drew. I'm just screwed up. When you pulled me up against you, I…I felt you against my stomach and I became shy, but it wasn't your fault. I'm just a prude," I berate myself.
Drew cups the other side of my face, forcing me to keep my attention on him, "you are not a prude, do you hear me? I think what happened between us this morning proved that. You're just intimidated by the aspect of intimacy and being intimate, but you want it; I can see that in your eyes. I meant it when I said that we will go at your pace. But what you felt…well, that is what you do to me, Lucy. And believe me when I say that it's not a bad thing," he tells me.
As I continue to look up into Drew's eyes, I can see the truth of his words behind them. Gripping his wrists, I stand on my tip toes so I can press a kiss to his lips. "I believe you…about all of it," I tell him.
"Good. Because it's true," Drew smiles down at me, pressing another kiss to my lips.
"Can I accompany you with whatever it is you have to do today before we leave?" I ask and a look of happiness I've never seen before, flits across Drew's face.
"It would be an honor to have you join me, today. Just don't stray far from me, please. Unless Randy is near; he is the only other person I trust with you," he orders me and I nod my head with a small smile.
"I think I can handle that," I reply and wrap one of my arms around his, letting him lead me in the direction of what looks to be like a small makeshift training field. A majority of the men were sparring with their swords, practicing to better themselves for when necessary.
In the distance, I can see Randy directing and ordering them on what needs to be done. When one messes up, they are forced to start over again. This happens rather quickly, causing all of the soldiers to yell at the one who screwed it up for the rest.
I chuckle lightly, causing Drew to look down at me with a lopsided grin. "I see you appreciate their demise at the tactic that Randy and I have created," he comments and I look up at him with a smile.
"Maybe just a little bit," I reply, holding up one hand and create a tiny amount of space between my thumb and index fingers that I hold closely together.
"If you ever have any input or suggestions, please don't keep them to yourself; I'd love to hear them," Drew tells me and I look at him, taken aback by his request and I begin to shake my head, but a pair of lips stop me from my rebuttal.
All of a sudden there are cheers, hoots and hollers and it causes me to pull away from the kiss to look out at all of the men who have put their attention onto me and Drew. I gasp as most of their stares are on myself and I go to look up at Drew for help, until I hear the booming voice of Randy.
"HEY!" Randy yells and whistles loudly to get the soldiers' attention. "Last time I checked, what your king does in his free time is none of your concern! What you're practicing on right now can be the determining factor on if you live or die! Now I suggest you leave your king and his companion be, or you will all be worked twice as hard! Do I make myself clear?" He yells at the men, but some of them don't seem to grasp the order at hand.
"I SAID…DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!" Randy bellows out at them. This time it seems to be effective because all fall into line almost immediately.
"Yes sir!" They all loudly say in unison.
"That's what I thought. Now, back to what you should have been doing this whole time, instead of ogling your king and the lady!" Randy booms at the men and they return to their prior engagement.
Randy looks over at us and connects eyes with Drew, who nods his head in approval over at his best friend for taking quick control over his men. Randy returns the gesture before turning his eyes to me, flashing me a quick wink that he pairs with a smirk.
I blush at the action, but respond to him with a smile that I know he can see, but it turns into a scowl when I hear and feel a rumbling growl emanate from Drew.
"Hey, knock that off," I scold Drew and lightly swat his chest with my free hand and he looks down at me conflicted on if he should continue to react to Randy's wink towards me or the fact that I actually scolded him for his unnecessary reaction. "Don't look at me like that. What did I tell you about being jealous of your best friend where I'm concerned?" I ask him. Drew purses his lips and I can see that he doesn't want to answer me because he knows I'm right.
When he doesn't respond, I release my hold on his harm so I can face him properly and lift an eyebrow up at him, repeating my question silently. "I know," Drew grumbles, looking up and over in the direction of his friend and then back down at me, "I have no reason to be jealous of him," he adds on and I nod my head in confirmation.
"Then why are you?" I ask him, my tone soft as I grab one of his hands to hold in both of my much smaller ones.
Drew looks at our joint hands before dragging them back up to mine and an ashamed look can be found in his blue eyes. He sighs before answering me. "I don't know and I know that's not an excuse. I just see how comfortable you are around him and the connection you two have and I guess I just want you to have that with me only. I know he's my best friend and would never do that to me, but when we were younger," he begins and shuts down, taking his hand from my grip and walks away from me.
