Here i'm back ^^

The next morning !

Hotel – Room 627 !

Chris opened her eyes, and saw the ring on her finger. She smiles. No, she hadn't dreamed last night. Jim Street had proposed to her. She would never have believed that she would marry, and even less with her best friend. The one who had landed in her life like a cannonball and brought down all the barriers she had tried many times to erect around her. On the night of their first kiss, when they were both drunk, she had wanted so much more. She was ready to go all the way, to leave Ty and Kira and throw herself heart and soul into what seemed like a no-no, but she didn't do it. And she had thrown him into Molly's arms a few months later. She had thought she was in love with Kira back then, but it was just an illusion. True love is what she felt, what she lived, with Street. Butterflies in your stomach, the well-being of being in the arms of the person you love, and whom you respect without limit. There were no secrets between them. When they were on the field, and one of them was injured or received a punch from a suspect who had backing, they did not hide it, and the other took care of the said injury. Luckily for them, there hadn't been an extended hospital stay since the young man's gunshot wound. In fact, that story was behind them, and Chris didn't want to think about it anymore. Lying on her side, she rolled onto her back and fell nose to chest with Street. She placed a kiss between his pecs, drawing a sigh from him.

"Morning !" he breathed.

"Hm, good morning handsome."

She moved her lips up to his throat, his chin, then his mouth.

"I had a funny dream." she says.

"Oh yeah ?" She nodded. "Tell me more about it !"

"I dreamed that a very hot guy asked me to marry him." she explained. "And I think I said yes."

"Um, dump him and marry me instead." Street said.

"Okay !" she smiled, before he kissed her fully. "You know it won't change anything between us, huh ? Even at work, we stay as we are."

"Yes, I know." he said. "I just want to be able to tell everyone that you are my wife."

"We're going to have to move." she said, frowning. "After the wedding, I mean."

"Yeah !" he nodded. "But Luca will understand, I'm sure. You don't want to move first ?"

"No, I prefer that we focus on the wedding first, and on our honeymoon." she says. "Step by step."

"Yeah, you're right." he said. "Come here !"

He captured her mouth in a long, languid kiss, when both of their stomachs jerked in.

"I think we should order breakfast !" Street said.

Chris picked up the phone, dialed the front desk number, and asked for room service. She ordered pancakes, grilled bacon, fresh orange juice, a bowl of raspberries, and coffee.

"Thirty minutes !" she said, hanging up. She undid the covers, got out of bed and went to the bathroom. "You coming ?"

"Not yet !" Street said teasingly, before hurriedly following her.

They took a long shower, kissing and caressing each other as they washed. Chris wrapped her hand around his cock and stroked it up and down in a light yet hard motion. Water ran over them, spraying traces of shower gel mixed with Street's seed as he cums in his fiancée's hand. He cracked a smile just at the thought. Chris was his fiancée.

Room service brought them breakfast a few minutes after they got out of the shower, but neither of the two young engaged couples had dressed. They had time before they had to go to work, so they had put on their fluffy robes. They ate on the bed, bringing the tray and setting it between them.

"When do you want to get married ?" Chris asked, bringing a raspberry to her lips.

"If I weren't scared of incurring your aunt's wrath, I would tell you right away." Street replied, squeezing a laugh out of the young woman. "Could we get married this summer ? I have no family outside of S.W.A.T., so invites will be quick."

"Yeah, we'd have to find the perfect place. No way we're getting married in church." she says. "None of us are religious."

"The ideal would be to celebrate the ceremony outdoors, and to have a room nearby for the reception." Street said. "We're in L.A., so we shouldn't have too much trouble finding."

"I could ask Annie for a hand ?" Chris suggested. "And to Bonnie. She surely has addresses that she kept after her own wedding."

"Let's find the perfect place and set a definitive date before we start the preparations." he said. "What do you think ?"

"Yeah, that's better." she nodded. "How do we announce it ? And to whom first ?"

"Your uncle and aunt already know this, since I asked for their blessing before preparing our evening." Street said.

"And they managed to keep it a secret all this time ?" He nodded. "Wow ! My aunt must be thrilled."

"Yeah, she told me it was time." he said. "And that she would kick my ass if I ever walked away, but in a more nuanced way."

"Yeah, that doesn't surprise me." she smiles.

Street got out of bed to put the tray back on the cart, and undid his bathrobe.

"Again ?" laughed Chris.

"We have a good two hours left before we vacate the room." he reminded her. "Unless you want to leave it sooner…"

Chris swung her legs over the bed, undid her robe and pushed it aside without taking it off before grabbing the tails of Street's and pulling him to her. Oh yes, he was ready for another round. She took a condom, and slid her tongue along his erect member. She closed her mouth on his tip, then took it all.

...

After a detour through the house to change into their S.W.A.T. uniforms, the engaged couple arrived at HQ. Chris hadn't taken off her engagement ring. If she had to go into intervention, she would slip the ring into the chain around her neck. Along the way, while Street was driving, she had called her aunt to tell her that they were officially engaged.

"Dios mio Christina, i's about time !" her aunt had said.

By now, she must have been on the phone with the whole family to tell them the good news.

"Look who finally arrives."

Chris and Street had just left the locker room, where they had left their bags, when they came upon their team.

"We had special permission." Street replied.

"Relax kid, I know." Hondo reassured him. "So this anniversary party, how was it ? Spare us the unwanted details."

"Yes, please." Deacon said.

"Oh, that was great." Chris said. "We had dinner at the restaurant, took a short walk on the beach, and spent the night at the hotel."

"Hhhhh !" Luca said. "You seem too happy for nothing in particular to have happened. Spit it out !"

The couple looked at each other, and Street just shrugged.

"You're not pregnant, aren't you ?" asked Tan, himself the father of a four-month-old baby boy. "No because you both live with Luca and…"

"No, I'm not pregnant." Chris cut him off, rolling her eyes. "But in a year or two, why not ?"

"Chris…" Deacon said impatiently.

She ended their ordeal and raised her left hand. They fell from the clouds when they saw the ring.

"No !" Luca said. "You… is that what I believe ?"

"It depends on what you believe." Street said.

"Are you going to get married ?" Hondo asked.

"Yes, we're going to get married." confirmed Chris.

The surprise over, the male quartet congratulated the couple with broad hugs and hugs.

"I never thought you would think of that." Tan confessed. "Or that you had it in you, Street."

"It is the right time." Street said. "And I never thought it would happen to me either, but when we found the right person, no questions ask."

"We are happy for you." Hondo said sincerely.

"Thank you, boss !" Chris said. When she saw Erica further… "Excuse me, I'll be right back !"

She kissed Street on the cheek, and joined her friend.

"How long have you been preparing this ?" Deacon asked.

"Four months, around." Street replied. "Yes, I asked permission from her family. Her aunt must have already warned everyone by now."

"To say that you didn't tell us anything." Luca lamented.

"With the face you made, it was worth keeping the secret." Street said.

"Annie will be thrilled." Deacon said.

A high-pitched scream caught their attention, and they turned just in time to see Erica throw herself into Chris's arms, who kept smiling.

"I've never seen Chris happier than since she's been with you." Deacon said. "If you need a helping hand with the wedding, don't hesitate."

"To be honest, we haven't decided on the date yet, but I will need you when I have to choose a tuxedo." Street tells them.

"Count on us, mate." Luca told him. "And I had better be your best man, otherwise I'm going to have it bad."

"Yes, you will be my best man." Street reassured him, as his mate and roommate wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "We haven't decided on the number yet, but you're number one on my list."

...

Erica was the only other woman who was part of S.W.A.T., and without Chris's support, she would never have made it. Since then, she was part of the team of Donovan Rocker, who became 50-David after the retirement of Mumford. Her integration had gone without a hitch, and her friendship with Chris had only come out stronger. For the past two years, she had seen Chris and Street grow closer, becoming the couple they were today. So the announcement of her engagement could only bring her joy. She had lured the young woman into the kitchen to get the details of the request, until her team was called to the scene of a shooting.

...

Chris took refuge in the locker room, and pulled out her phone to FaceTime Annie, first. Sitting on the bench, one leg on each side, she waited for her friend to pick up.

"Hi Annie, I hope I'm not disturbing you ?"

"No not at all. Why this phone call when you're on shift ?"

Instead of answering, Chris raised her left hand into view of her phone's camera so that her ring was highlighted.

"Is that what I believe ?"

"Yeah, I'm getting married."

"Oh my God, Chris." Annie put her hand over her mouth, moved. A tear rolled down her cheek, which she wiped away. "Tell me everything !"

For the second time, she recounted the detail—deliberately omitting the after party - of Street's marriage proposal. And she repeated it five minutes later with Bonnie, who let out a piercing scream that startled Street as he entered the locker room at the same time. When Chris hung up, he sat behind her, wrapping his arms around her.

"I told the Commander, and he is happy for us." he told her. "I still can't get over the idea that he doesn't blame me for making my life with someone other than Molly."

"It wasn't her who was heartbroken, but you" Chris said. "I already asked Annie and Bonnie to be my bridesmaids. How high do you want to go each ?"

"Don't you want Erica as a bridesmaid ?" he wondered.

"Yes, but…" She moved away to turn around and sit down facing him. "If we go up to three, you're going to have to choose between Deacon and Hondo. I know how close you are to Luca and Tan. It would be different if Nate was still alive but…"

"Yeah, I wish he was there to see me get married." Street said, a lump in his throat. "I already asked Luca, and I was waiting to see with you, before asking Tan. And I don't want to hurt Deacon and Hondo if I choose one and not the other. Without Hondo, I wouldn't be where I am today, and the same for Deacon. Especially since it means even more to you. Argh, I hate having to make a choice."

"We have time, as long as we haven't set a date." Chris told him. "We stay at two, until we set a date, and then we will advise."

She took his face in her hands and kissed him.

The rest of the day was quiet, and aside from the shooting that Rocker's team had been called to, there was no other crime in Los Angeles that required S.W.A.T. They spent it training, whether at the shooting range, or in the weight room, or cleaning weapons. The couple were the last to leave the locker room after swapping their uniforms for simple clothes. Hand in hand, bag over shoulder, they left the locker room, but as they crossed the gym, they were stopped dead in their tracks by the entire team – the S.W.A.T. almost complete – which stopped them.

"Not so fast you two." Luca told them. "We have something to celebrate."

"What ?" Street asked.

"Your engagement, moron !" Rocker replied, pushing Chris and Street towards the middle of the open room. "Didn't you think we were going to let you go like that ?"

Erica brought them each a glass of champagne. Well, it wasn't champagne.

"It's cider, relax." she told them.

"Uh, you didn't have to do that." Chris said.

"Of course we do." Commander Hicks replied. "You have proven to all of us that you are capable of working in the same team while being a couple, and these last two years are proof that you are made for each other."

Street swallowed uncomfortably which Chris noticed, who reassured him by squeezing his hand.

"And Annie has already decided to have a lunch at home this Sunday with you as guests of honor." Deacon told them. "It is non-negotiable, I warn you right away."

"We'll save the speeches for the wedding, and we'll just toast the two most stubborn officers in S.W.A.T." Hondo said, raising his glass. "Congratulation !"

"Yes, congratulations !"

Not knowing what to say, Street raised his glass and emptied it in one go, which made everyone laugh.

"Good, now that it's settled..." Luca rubbed his hands. "Rocker, you and your team – except for Erica who is the smartest person of all of you – you lost the bet. Over here the money."

"What ? What bet ?" asked Chris.

"When you came out of hiding..." The laughter redoubled in the background. "I heard our dear 50-David here say that your story wouldn't hold up because of your job, and it wouldn't even go as far as marriage. I gave them a little challenge that he was totally screwed up, and I knew that would happen eventually. And it happened."

"They are not married yet." Rocker pointed.

"Because you think I'm going to sneak out at the last minute ?" Street asked. "Not even in dreams."

"Yeah, he's too scared of my aunt to leave me at the altar." Chris replied, smirking.

"Not to mention that Annie would kill me." Street added, looking at Deacon, who didn't contradict him.

He even raised his glass at this statement.

"And I will finish you !" concludes Chris.

"So..." Street told Rocker. "You can be sure that I will not run away." He looked at Luca. "Don't forget to mention it in your speech at the reception."

"Count me in, buddy !" sneered Luca, who motioned for Rocker and his team to give him the money he was owed. When he picked up the dollars, he went to give them to the couple. "It will finance your honeymoon."

"Hey !" indignant Rocker.

"Thank you !" smiled Street, grabbing the money.

Chris drained her glass.

"Thank you for this little party, but we're having dinner at my aunt's who already has to prepare the wedding." she said, eliciting more laughter.

...

"Tia, let's calm down, okay ?" said Chris, as his aunt was already starting to talk about floral ornament. "We just got engaged, and we haven't had time to sit down to talk about the preparations. We haven't even set a date yet, so please, I know you're happy for us, but slow down."

"Okay, lo siento." her aunt apologized. "But I'm so happy, and can't wait to see you marry such a nice man like Jimmy."

"And it will happen, I promise you." Chris reassured her. "Now that I've managed to calm your ardor…" Her aunt chuckled. "Can I help you cook dinner ? I must learn your recipes."

"It's time, indeed, that you get started." her aunt agreed.

They prepared a pozole, and Chris remained attentive to the recipe.

"I will write it to you !" his aunt promised him.

The dish was a real success, and they enjoyed it.

"How did you manage to keep it a secret for so long ?" asked Chris.

"Like we could spill the beans and spoil Jimmy's surprise." replied her aunt, as if it were obvious.

Chris rolled her eyes, which had happened so many times that day. They went home, with a bowl of leftover pozole for Luca, who loved this dish. Chris left the two men alone and went to take a shower.

"Hey, Luca, I want to talk to you about something." Street said, as Luca warmed the dish.

"Yes I'm listening." he says.

"Um, actually I wanted to make sure you didn't mind, Chris and I." Street said. Lucas frowned. "I mean, we're going to wait for the wedding and, when we get back from our honeymoon, we're going to, uh, have to look for an apartment and…"

"Stop, I'll stop you now !" Luca said. "Do you think I'm going to resent you when you'll move out ? Listen mate, I knew this day was coming when you started dating Chris. How could I take it the wrong way, or stop you ? It's not because we will no longer be roommates that we will stop being brothers, you and me. You're going to build your life with Chris, you can even move now, it won't change our ties."

They hugged, and Street couldn't help but laugh to hide his relief, but Luca was not fooled.

"I'm proud of you, mate." Luca told him.

"Thank you !" Street pulled away. "Tomorrow I will ask Tan to be my second best man, and I have to choose between Deacon and Hondo for the third one. »

"Don't let the fear I see in your eyes eat you away." Luca said. "Whoever you choose, it will not affect your relationship with the other in any way."

"Since when did you become so wise ?" Street teased.

They burst out laughing together. Luca turned away to focus on the pozole, which he fully intended to devour without leaving a trace. Street left him at his late dinner, and waited for Chris to come out of the bathroom to go too. He was falling from fatigue. Spending a good part of the night making love over and over again was great, but the lack of sleep always caught up with you eventually. Street slipped under the blanket, plugged his phone into the charger, and set the alarm clock.

"Tired, pretty boy ?" laughed Chris, who snuggled up to him.

"A little, but I'm not complaining." he said, wrapping his arm around her. "Did I dream or did you tell the guys that you wouldn't be against getting pregnant in a year or two ?"

Chris sat up and rested her chin on her hands, which she folded over his chest.

"You weren't dreaming." she said, before sighing. "You shook up all the future plans I had made for myself. With you, I'm ready for anything except quitting S.W.A.T. Well, maybe that will change when we have children."

"Come here !" he says.

She climbed on top of him, and sealed their lips. He reversed them, slipped his right hand under the blanket, and groaned when he felt the bare skin on Chris's thighs. She wore a nightie, and no underwear.

"Chris, you were wearing one when you came out of the bathroom."

"I took it off to piss you off." she confessed.

"You are evil." he breathed.

"It will be easier for you tomorrow morning." she said, licking her lip. "You can wake me up any way you want."

...

And the next morning, she was awakened by her fiancé, who had snuck under the blanket to taste her intimacy with his tongue.
