The weekend was nice. Though they had some moving to finish up, it was packed away quickly as they settled back into their home, for good. Him and Leila got to have a good conversation. It was nice to have some peace for a few days. Of course, it could never last.

When Peter heard the distant sound of knocking on the front door, he was surprised. Not many people could know they'd relocated. They'd been nice enough to tell Derek, who ignored it. Cora had decided to return to his, not feeling comfortable with the house. So they knew he knew.

Deaton certainly wasn't one to drop by unexpectedly.

He imagined the girls may have let Isaac know, or any of their other friends.

He continued to ponder as he made his way down the hall. When he reached the front door, he was met with a surprise he wouldn't have ever guessed.

A girl, a few inches shorter than him, in a leather jacket and combat boots. She'd forgone her fathers blonde locks, instead bearing dark silky curls, much like Leila. Her hair may have been different, but her facial features gave it away. They screamed Argent.

He had half a mind to check her for a baby.

"Mr. Hale, right? Uh...Lydia told me you guys moved."

Her tone was timid. She seemed to be in awe of the house as she looked all around. Or just avoiding looking at the man she once helped kill. He fixed her with a suspicious glare.

"You are the second person in your twisted family to brave knocking on this door."

Her face seemed to fall, as she looked at him finally. She steadied herself with a breath, before finding her determination again.

"You're talking about my father."

The statement caught Peter by surprise. Chris Argent had told her his long kept secret. For many years his family was oblivious to the surviving child. Now he had confessed his betrayal to his daughter. Peter couldn't imagine why.

"Yes, I am." He replied simply. She nodded slowly, looking off into the trees somewhere. He stared at her in confusion for a moment."Can I help you?"

"I'd like to talk to Leila, if she would."

Peter's eyes narrowed further, not liking the idea. He didn't want an Argent in his house. He still wasn't quite sure how Mara convinced him to let the girls be around them. 'Times are changing' she'd say. Unfortunately, the past had a way of repeating itself in his experience.

Then again, they'd never had a situation quite like this.

Though he wanted to shut the door in the girl's face, he knew it wasn't up to him either.

He instead settled for telling her to wait, and slamming it then.

Leila grabbed the car keys on the way out the door. There was only one thing Allison would have to talk to her about, and she didn't need her entire family eavesdropping on them.

She breezed past the surprised girl, heading straight for her GT, which Peter had finally agreed to give up. Though, Mara had to promise him a Catillac of his own. She turned back for a moment to fix Allison with a look that said 'Coming?'.

Allison was quick to get the hint, following and heading for the passenger side.

They drove down the road in silence, for the first five minutes.

"I'm surprised this happened so fast. I wasn't sure if you'd ever find out."

Leila broke the tense silence with the blank statement. From the corner of her eye she could see the other girl turn to look out her window.

"Even if we all didn't see each other almost daily, that still wouldn't have lasted forever."

They were quiet again. The sound of gravel being torn up by the tires and battering the sides of the car sounded loudly over the static of the radio. Leila flicked it off. She heard the girl beside her let out a shaky sigh.

"I'm sorry."

The words left Leila speechless. She thought perhaps the girl had questions for her, or had just wanted to discuss what she'd learned. The last thing she expected was an apology. Especially not one so…real. The shock had almost caused her to release the wheel.

"What?" Was all she could manage.

Allison continued to look the other way, her hands twisting in her lap as her eyes followed the treescape flying past.

"I made my dad tell me everything. Not just about you, all of it. The whole feud. It comes off pretty one sided when you know who started what. I'm sorry."

Allison's voice was quiet. Barely audible. Leila blinked a few times processing the information. She supposed "all of it" meant her mother, and the fire. Or perhaps even things Gerard had done. She nodded slowly in response.

"Okay, why are you apologising? We know you aren't responsible for their choices."

Allison looked at her finally, making her heart jump.

"Do you?"

Leila didn't let her expression crack. Sure, she knew Allison wasn't at fault for her family's actions. It didn't make it easier to be around her. Allison seemed to read her mind, as her gaze retired to the road.

"I don't expect us to be best friends or anything. I just wanted you to know this... THING between our families, died with our mothers."

Leila let out a small snort at the statement.

"I'm sorry about your mother, but mine is still well and kicking. If you mean the bitch that burned my family alive, yeah I think we were all counting our losses after that."

Allison cracked a small smile at the bluntness.

"So we're straight? We're not going to continue this pointless feud our families have?"

"No more feud." Leila confirmed.

With that, both girls sat in comfortable silence for the rest of the ride.

Cole awoke with a start, seeking out the obnoxious ringing that so rudely pulled her from sleep. Her eyes caught the time on the clock right in front of her, as she reached for her vibrating phone beside it.

12:13

She'd only been asleep an hour. Her annoyance grew. She slid her finger across the screen, accepting the call without checking who it was.

"Someone better be dying." She grumbled into the now silent device.

"Two someones. And almost Danny too."

Cole's eyes pressed shut once more as she resisted the urge to groan. She instead settled for a tired sigh.

"What the hell Stiles?" She grumbled.

"Two doctors disappeared tonight on the way to the hospital. Danny came in throwing up mistletoe too."

"Shit. One more then."

"Unless the darach suddenly decided to give up the quest for power."

"Somehow I doubt that. Why would it poison Danny?"

"I don't know. Aren't you guys the supernatural experts? Isn't that why I'm calling you?"

"Yeah, fine. I'll try and figure something out. Meet me before school, in the lot."

"If i don't get poisoned first."

"No point in killing you when nobody listens to you anyways."

I've been struggling with some details of the sequel, and I figured i'd ask you. Would you rather see Cole end up with Stiles, or Scott? Let me know in a review!
