Early Sunday Morning
Mac's Apartment
Georgetown,Va
Mac grimaced as the bright sunlight woke her up, she immediately rolled over in bed reaching for Harm, instead of a nice warm body; she was met with a cold empty space. It was then it dawned on her, Harm was an ocean away from her and she was all alone. Married to the man of her dreams but still all alone. She knew this would be hard, but knowing and dealing are two very different things. As she laid there she thought about how different her life might be right now, if she'd not gone after Harm.
Trying to shake thoughts out of her head, she decided to get up, she'd go check on Harm's place and run a few errands before she came back to her cold empty apartment. Making her way from the bedroom to her kitchen she started up her coffee pot, she just stood there waiting on the black stuff to start pouring out. She chuckled as she remembered Harm calling her coffee "A cup of mud"
After her coffee was ready, she made her way into her small living area. Sitting down on her sofa, she started looking around, she hated feeling alone. It made her think back to all the times her father told her she'd always end up alone. "Get a grip Mackenzie; your a married woman now you're not alone."
Thinking she should get a head start on her report to The Admiral, she went over and picked up her laptop. Opening it up she decided to check her email, as she skimmed thru it, nothing caught her eye, until she saw the one from her sailor, she opened it up and began to read it.

Cag ordered us to get rack time, we fly in the morning. I'll meet you in my dreams tonight. I love you Sarah
Harm.. )
She read and reread Harms email, smiling more each time she read it, thinking she can up with her response to him.

Dearest Harm,
I know words aren't your strong suit ( unless in a courtroom ) but reading what you wrote warms my heart, I miss you so much, and its not even been a full day yet. I know you're living your dream. I'm proud of you, and I'm happy for you. I figured you'd like that photo, more to come my Flyboy. After all I've got to keep your mind on what's waiting for you at home. ( no sharing with Tuna )
I'm just starting my day here, going to head over to your place to check on it. I'm counting the days until we can see each other. ( I must sound like a sap to you, not your tuff jarhead, and you know I hate that name ) I'll meet you in my dreams tonight, fly safe. I love you Flyboy,
Sarah )
Mac closed out her email, and shut down her laptop. After that she went back into her bedroom and got herself ready for the day.
Later in the evening
USS Patrick Henry
Dinning Room
Harm sat alone at his tablepicking at his chow, this was the part of carrier life he didn't enjoy. He'd gotten use to fixing his meals to his liking, navy chow could be bad at times. "Mind if I join you?"
"Pull up seat Skates."
"What's on your mind Harm? Or should I say who's on your mind?"
"Just thinking about life."
"Ahhh... Missing Mac?"
"More than you know, I honesty thought I could do this. I didn't count on life giving me a second chance at love."
"A second chance?"
"Long story short; my first chance was murdered, I never thought I would feel that way again. I locked up those feelings, buried them deep. Then one day a Marine walked into my life; she brought them back to life. Scared the shit out of me; I was afraid that if I let her in; I'd lose her the same way. Now looking back, I'm glad I did, but it makes it hard now."
"Well Harm; I'm not an expert in that field, but I guess it's true what they say. Fate knows who to put in your path."
Harm gave Skates a odd look. "Fate?"
"You know Fate, true love, all that mushy stuff."
"Skates you never fail to amaze me. I think I'll just go check my email."
"Have fun Pappy..." Skates went back to eating her dinner. While Harm made his way back to his cabin.
Mid Afternoon
Harms Apartment
North of Union Station
Mac pulled into Harms normal parking space, she got out and made her way up to Harms apartment, upon reaching his floor she was greeted by a somewhat tall blond standing at his door knocking on it.
"Can I help you?"
"I'm not sure? You wouldn't by chance know if Lt Commander Rabb is home."
"No he's not; who are you?"
"I'm his former JAG partner, and you are?"
"His former JAG partner, and now his wife."
Both woman sized up each other. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to come across rude, I'm Lt Meg Austin."
Mac smiled ; "Major Sarah MacKenzie-Rabb" Mac said as she stuck out her hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Same here."
"I'll just open the door." Mac said as she stepped in front of Meg. "Come on in, Harms away and want be back anytime soon, is there anything I can help you with?" Mac asked as she moved around the apartment turning on lights as she went.
"No I just thought I'd take chance and stop by on my way to Pax River. You said your his former JAG partner?"
"Yes I was partnered with Harm after his old one left, that'd be you."
"Yes Ma'am; I decided that I felt more at home in the computer part of the Navy than the law side."
"Sounds like Harm; he decided he wanted to go back to being an aviator."
"Really! How can that be? What about his eyes?"
"He had them fixed, now he's flying again." Mac said looking down at floor.
"I know we've just met; but are you okay."
"It's that obvious."
"Maybe not to some, but I can see your upset."
"You know Harm pretty well I take it."
"Yes Ma'am I do. Would you like to talk?"
Thanking it might be nice to chat with someone that knows Harm almost as well as she does; Mac decided to talk to Meg."How much time do you have?"
"All day Ma'am."
