Neku was not a fan of heights.
So when Joshua was doing a routine flight over Shibuya, looking over the domain he had found a new affection for, he was suprized to see his proxy standing on the roof of 104, looking down at the Scramble.
Nothing was wrong with the teen's position, and he looked more ready to throw up than to jump off. So what was he doing up there?
Joshua was nearly blown off course as a powerful gust of wind barreled into him. He took a glance at his Proxy and discovered...
Neku was plunging downward!
Tucking his wings like a peregrine falcon, Shibuya's Composer dove after the orange-haired speck. He fell faster and faster, reaching out his hand to grab Neku's ankle. Once he got a good grip, he slowly glided down to the ground.
"Really, Neku, if you wanted to get my attention, you could have just asked."
His Proxy shot him a glare.
"I didn't fall on purpose! The wind knocked me off."
"What were you doing so close to the edge? Trying your luck a fourth time?"
Neku snorted "Hell no." He took out a sketchpad he'd been drawing in and showed it to the Composer.
"I was trying to capture the Scramble...the way you see it."
Joshua was impressed. The sketch was flawless, the depiction of his domain had been perfectly captured. He ran his hand gently over the canvas, listening to the song of the strokes.
"It's perfect." He murmured softly, handing the book back and beginning to fade.
"Keep up the good work, Neku."
