Lightning struck the blue force field that protected the island. Each strike caused terrifyingly beautiful electrical currents to sizzle along the almost transparent shield. An ominous feeling engulfed Seita as he looked up at the gloomy grey clouds that covered the sky. It had been sunny earlier that week but now, it rained constantly. He couldn't help but feel like something bad was waiting for him right around the corner.

The setting felt awfully close to the first time Seita had faced the corrupt bit masters. It had been raining fiercely then too. He sighed and made his way to where he had planned on meeting Kenny. He hoped Kenny would be able to answer at least a few of the million questions that filled his head. He was, after all, the smartest of the bladebreakers and certainly the wisest.

Seita felt much better once he stepped away from the downpour upon reaching Kenny's front porch. Seconds after the doorbell rang, the door opened to reveal a tired looking Kenny. Kenny smiled at Seita and gestured for the boy to follow him inside.

"It's pouring pretty heavily, huh?" Kenny said. "I'm sorry I asked you to come all the way here in this rain."

"That's alright. I'm glad you did, there have been a few things I've been meaning to ask you about." Seita gave him a grin.

"What did you want to ask me?" Kenny enquired once they were seated in his living room.

"Bit beasts aren't from our world, are they? How they enter this world?" Seita tilted his head to the side in curiosity.

"That's a good question. See, bit beasts are actually quite similar to human souls. Just like the way a human body and soul materializes along with everything else we see in our physical reality, bit beasts too materialize in our world. The only difference is that they require a spinning tool to support them in this reality."

"A spinning tool? You mean our beyblades?" Seita enquired.

"Yes exactly. Nothing in the world is spooky, there are those who try to keep it unexplained because they know what will happen when the collective expands, knowledge is power so people that have it, keep the rest of the world in the dark so that they can rise over everyone else. I'll try and explain everything you need to know."

Seita felt hope. He had been thirsty for answers but nobody ever gave it to him; not until today at least. It didn't help that his sister always tried to keep him away from the world of beyblading for most of his life.

Kenny continued. "Cymatic frequency actually clarifies how it's possible as consciousness is a form of energy, an eternal sound wave that can continuously grow strong but needs something to sustain it in the physical reality, just like how humans use brief bodies, a powerful higher spirit just requires a spinning tool to create consistent energy to connect them to the physical reality, which is what the beyblade does. The beyblade spins repeatedly and creates the energy necessary but a human who is present in the physical reality needs to use their voice and power to help the bit-beast sustain its form when called,"

Seita gripped the beyblade that lay in his pocket. Somehow it meant more to him now that he knew its purpose.

"Spinning tops have been used by many ancient advanced civilizations of the past to bring about spirits and give the spirit a portal of energy it could use to manifest as the spiral of the spinning top constantly gave it power to sustain itself from a nexus point that connected it to the spinning frequency of the planet." Kenny said.

A look of sadness flashed across his face.

"I wonder what the adults behind the organization were really after, letting us use such powerful beings all that time. Children shouldn't have to carry the responsibility of a bit beast." Kenny mused. "I dove into genetics and learned that all organisms have souls and an instrument that allows them to exist in the space they find themselves in. Just like humans, even fishes have souls. Souls are often affected by light spectrums. Planets ... have different light spectrums that affect the light on them, because of the sun portals closest to them. A light spectrum can change the soul, for example how the moon has a gravitational pull that affects the ocean. When a planet three times the size of earth comes around, you can be sure the light spectrum is to be effected."

Kenny looked completely absorbed in his explanation. "A human's soul is the solar wave, a pulse that surges through the heart and body. This pulse can be seen in a monitor and when the heart stops, the solar wave is attracted to whatever amount of energy a soul most absorbed. You know how a planet constantly spins, right? This means that the world basically spins around the human body, so the human body is a lot like a beyblade top, especially when considering the circular womb of a woman."

"Wow. I've never thought about it that way." Seita said.

Kenny gave him a weak smile. "I'm glad you're thinking now. You might have heard about the golden ratio."

"The ratio all beautiful things follow?" Seita asked, glad that he knew what it is.

"Yes exactly." Kenny replied. Seita beamed.

The older man went on. "You can see this ratio in so many places, even on a beyblade. When you're under water and try to blow air, the water naturally takes a circular path to form water bubbles. 360 degrees, spheres, the swirl is everywhere. Certain entities made their calendar 365 to throw off the developing wave's circadian rhythm."

He rested his chin on his hand. "I think that depending on what a soul accumulates while it is in a human body; it is determined what sort of bit-beast they become when they leave the body as spirits. You're only... a human while in a human body. Give it enough spin and if the beyblade has a bit-beast then that bit-beast can then sustain itself unless it gets defeated by another bit-beast which causes it to lose its portal briefly, that's how a beyblade has always worked."

"But how do you know all this? Where did beyblades actually come from?" The curious teen asked.

Kenny's eyes met Seita's as he answered. "The name of beyblade is derived from Beigoma and blade from the cord… but the true history of the top, comes from all over the planet… it doesn't start in Japan, its purpose wasn't to distract kids or blind fun. Its true purpose was kept secret but not anymore"

"What do you mean?"

"Tyson's father reached out to me recently. He sent me pictures of an astrological painting of planets lining and a mysterious planet appearing. This planet's gravity is much stronger than the moon because the planet is 3 times larger than the earth."

Seita's ears perked up intently at the mention of his hero's father. He had spent such a large part of his life looking up to Tyson that his ears always waited for the mention of the world's best beyblader. He could feel Kenny grow mildly angrier as he continued, even though it was ever so slight.

"The reason certain secret groups have done everything possible to distract the general public while they themselves use the money made to expand out into space, is only because... they know what's coming." Kenny kept that to himself.

"He also informed me that the governments of certain nations of our world have been hiding something very important. They have been concealing the warning that the advanced civilization of the past left behind. They even went so far as to invent crop circles as a way to distract people from the truth that threatened to come out and made it seem unreal. It's a trick that they've grown pretty fond of, they give basic fake knowledge to developing souls so they can waste their lives oblivious to what's really occurring on the planet and never truly discover their purpose for arriving at that particular point in time."

Seita felt overwhelmed by all the information he was rapidly processing but at the same time, he also felt a tinge of excitement deep within him. Even though he just scratched the surface, this was better than knowing absolutely nothing. He listened to what else Kenny had to say.

"I was a fool to have not noticed it years back but the fact is, the planet is tugging asteroids and drawing them to earth, one of those being the Neptune blade. It is becoming more apparent that the paintings made by certain civilizations weren't just randomly created. They exist to give a warning of what's happening with the planet. A few societies were attacked by the hidden parasites which is why they remain underdeveloped.

Various cultures have been predicting this. The concept of what they mean has never changed but the terms that they used differ depending on which civilization rediscovers something that has always existed. It's a lot like how certain fruits are given different names at different locations, -

The other planet that was just discovered seems like a second sun, and has been causing the weather to go crazy but the reappearance of the Key-blades from the ocean only means one thing. But first, I need to see what's going on at the Oasis."

"Wait you're leaving?" Seita interrupted.

"I have to. A bit beast and a human are both a team, but there's still so much more that I need to learn regarding the higher spirits and there are groups that know a lot about this even though they'd never let it show. Our planet has been hurting and I can't deny the fact that there have been humans withholding information. It's foolish to think that we are the only intelligent life present in this vast universe."

"But how will you even find Tyson's father?"

"I have a few connections that enable me to fly despite how profusely it's raining. I need to reach the Egyptian continent's oasis as soon as possible. That's where he is; still researching about all this. Also, there's another reason why I asked you to come over."

"Another reason?" Seita wondered what could be more important than this.

"Max's mother reached out. She might have let me in on some secret information. She told me that intense floods are about to occur. It seems that the corrupt bit-masters don't want to play along with what the BABA has in mind and have deliberately attacked numerous continents, even towns of Japan. But the population isn't being allowed to evacuate yet because they think the island's force fields will hold out and protect them."

"What? That's horrible! We need to do something immediately!" Panic engulfed Seita. He worried for his sisters, Mimi and everyone else he grew up with. He wasn't about to watch and do absolutely nothing when everyone he loved was in danger.

"I understand how you feel. I would get everyone out of this island with me if I could but unfortunately, only I've been granted permission to venture out and get Tyson's father because there's something I need to deliver.

You need to be ready for whatever comes your way. I'm certain that whatever is coming is looking to break through the force fields. See, a soul that doesn't have a human body, is called a spirit, an eternal higher force, but depending on the strength that it possesses and accumulates, it's determined what it becomes when it joins the metaphysical. Those coming, are... of a different planet."

"Spirits? Like ghosts?" Seita wonders.

"That's one way to put it. There's so much about this world that we don't actually know. There has been someone who is supposedly governing the people's mentality and how souls use their brains. Whoever is behind this has been keeping souls destructive and underdeveloped. These underdeveloped souls have been tricked into thinking they should only gain enough knowledge to do one job but the jobs they do aren't actually solving anything for the souls or the planet.

Information ought to be freely available because the more information you absorb, the stronger you become. While using this brief body, we're all individual gods that have to account for our physical reality and the stronger a soul becomes through development and awareness, the more compassionate it becomes. In order to reduce the risk of a collective birthing of that awareness; whoever is behind it has been using corrupt ways of thought to stall the unstoppable."

As each word left Kenny's lips, he grew more passionate. He looked completely consumed by the truth and Seita couldn't help but feel inspired yet terrified at the same time. To know that the pursuit of truth could possess someone to this extent felt strangely liberating. The young beyblader found that his words incited something within him that rapidly grew.

Kenny carried on. "If it weren't for them, souls would become strong enough to recognize who is housing energetic parasites that have to be expelled from their thought form. The disruption of thought form can be traced to the ads and music which act as a vibratory distraction to keep souls from developing. I've been observing what the growing new generation undergoes. It's like some big test that's being conducted on civilizations, each one being wiped like a slate for more experimentation."

"This is all so much to process. All this has been happening around me but I've never seen it. I don't know how I could've missed this much." Seita said.

"It's not your fault. You were raised in a society where you're programmed to be too distracted to notice these things. I don't know what else to say because that would require a lot of detailed explanations and proof from credible sources. I'm still learning too. Once I know more, I'll make sure you know it too. I know we'll find each other just as long as we manage to survive through this. Just remember that there is no such thing as myth or fantasy; there is only meta-physical science and physical reality and those who've sought to hide it for their own selfish gain.

One thing is for sure, someone has purposely been withholding information to create conflicts. They use poison that hurts humans. If you remove the one making the poisons; there wouldn't be a need for hospitals or research when you've dealt with the root of the man-made diseases. This will lead to advancements in genetics, and knowledge about what the actual purpose has been for souls who take human bodies, since all organisms have souls."

Kenny paused for a moment and looked at the boy sitting next to him. Seita seemed quite breathless after learning this much.

The older man takes a deep breath before resuming. "I understand that this might be too much to process all at once but it's necessary. You're going to have to train harder than ever before. Concentrate on the power you can give Squishy if you want to learn about his true purpose. Here, give this to Hilary." He placed a letter in Seita's palm. "This contains instructions on how to get through and survive what's coming safely. It will also help anyone else who may need it."

He walked over to a table in the corner of the room and picked up a device. "This contains pre-recorded voice messages that will help you grow stronger and stand up against this oppression. Beyblades are weapons used to materialize power beings, deities even. Even before this concept came to be known as 'Beyblade', many civilizations have used it. The recordings will explain it much better. There really is a lot more that I'm still trying to figure out; like how Dizzy disappeared."

Seita took the device and looked at him with gratitude. "Thank you for this and even telling me about the truth. Ah- whose Dizzy?"

"Don't worry about that for now" Kenny said with a faint smile.

"You don't have to thank me. I'm doing this just to find my best friend. I'm gonna need all the help I can get."

"What exactly is coming?" Seita asked.

"I would explain it further but I need to get going if I intend on leaving this island. When we see each other again, I'll tell you everything else. If we survive that is." Kenny picked up a large suitcase and an umbrella, put on a hat and made his way to the door.

"Wait, what is that supposed to mean? What's coming?" Seita called out, running after him.

Kenny stepped out of his house and looked up at the rainy sky. He opened his umbrella and made his way to the cab that was waiting outside his gates.

Seita's mouth hung open. "You can't just leave after everything you told me! What about your friends here? What about Hilary? What about me?"

"You figure it out. I trust you." Kenny replied curtly and got into the cab. As he shut the door, Seita stared at the car in disbelief. He felt the bitter sting of betrayal at being left to fend for his hometown all alone against unknown dangers. He realized that there was nothing left to say. Not knowing what else to do, he ran back home.

As he ran through the raining streets, a chilling scream filled his ears. He turned towards the source of the sound and saw a woman pointing at the sky with a terrified expression. He followed her line of sight and saw an odd bright blue fish-like monsters floating outside the force field. Before he knew it, there was utter chaos everywhere. People fought and argued, cars crashed into each other and the drivers yelled at each other. Some people just stood and recorded the madness. "I-IS THAT AN UMIBOZU?!" Cried a woman, tripping by a crowd of people that looked up to the sky. Waves of screams erupted. He felt a sense of urgency to get home. Everything in his body screamed at him to run faster.

Back at the Tachibana residence, the youngest sister, Hiyori sat at the window sill and watched the downpour. She stretched her back and her cat, Momo, followed suit. The small calico jumped gracefully and landed on the counter beside the open window.

Hiyori smiled. "Hey, Momo. Isn't the rain pretty?" The cat purred in response as she petted him. "If you're here because you want more food then no. You just ate and if you eat even more, you'll get fat."

Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw a flash of gold. She looked up to see a young boy with golden eyes.

"Pirah! You surprised me! Can't you use the door like a normal person?" Hiyori could see the sadness that hid behind the boy's eyes.

He couldn't believe that the person he had attacked in the hospital turned out to be Hiyori's brother. He knew he had to finish his mission but he had spent five nights just staring at the house contemplating what to do. All that he recalled when he had awoken in this human body was his one mission; attack Seita, but upon arriving in town, he was taken aback by Hiyori's kindness.

He happened to be passing by an elementary school when he ran into her. She didn't hesitate for even a single moment to offer her food to Pirah when she heard his stomach growl. He was hesitant at first to accept food from a human considering how bad her species had treated him before but something about her demeanor told him that she was different and trustworthy. He had been playing with her ever since.

Hiyori looked at him with worry. "Where have you been? I didn't see you the past two days."

"It's just that the rain was a bit of a bother." Pirah lied. He actually liked the rain because being drenched in it made him feel closer to home. He just couldn't bring himself to face Hiyori due to the nature of his mission. To seize Seita, he had been ordered to capture his younger sister.

"Come in then. I'll bring you a towel and something hot to drink." She said with a delicate smile gracing her lips. Pirah immediately felt guilty about lying to her.

"That's lie. I like the rain. I need to tell you something." He said.

"What is it?"

"Don't I feel different from everyone else?"

"Well, your name is unique and I guess you can be slightly eccentric but in a good way. But everyone's different in their own way. I do wonder how you never have to worry about school though."

"I don't really go to school."

"Why not?"

"Bit beasts don't go to school. I'm a bit beast. I was supposed to kidnap you but I just couldn't do it so they told me that they would send someone else if I don't. I don't want to kidnap you but I'm being followed. I'm going to protect you, okay? Just come with me for now and I'll make sure you're safe."

"Who's 'they'? Why do they even want to kidnap me in the first place? And what do you mean you're a bit beast?"

Pirah shut his eyes and when he opened them again, his body emitted a yellow glow proving to Hiyori that he really is a bit beast. He looked into her eyes. "Do you trust me?"

"Of course I trust you. I know you're a good person and that you'd never hurt someone for no reason." Hiyori stated.

The glowing boy pulled out something from his pocket and presented it to Hiyori. "This is my beyblade. I want you to have it."

Seita was panting heavily when he reached his house. The moment he entered, he called out for his little sister but the house was empty and his voice was met with silence. He searched for her in her room but found that to be empty too. Suddenly, he heard the sound of glass breaking come from the kitchen. He ran over only to find the spider-like star fish bit beast that attacked him in the hospital waiting for him. He looked rather menacing with his spider-like legs. He still sported a purple scarf around his face.

"If you want your sister back, bring the key blade to the nearby football field." The bit beast stated.

Seita lunged forward to seize him but he narrowly escapes by jumping through the window. Seita ran toward the window and peered out but it was too late. The bit beast had already disappeared into the darkness. He yelled out in frustration and began running toward the football field even though his legs were still tired from running home. All around him, chaos ensued.
