Guest: Thank you for the review. I loved the episode where Adam, Jess and their children crashed in to the icy lake, it was so sad, though, I wasn't expecting the baby to die at the end. I can do a chapter where Cal, Alicia and their 18 - year - old daughter, crash in to an icy lake.

HolbyCityFanFics: Thank you for the review. I can do a chapter where Ethan gets Pneumonia like his mum whilst having Huntington's and Cal rushes him in to the ED.

Guest: Thank you for the review, I'm glad you liked the chapter, enjoyed writing it. Thank you for telling me what episode it was that Cal was on the edge of the cliff.

The Secret Life Of Casualty.

Chapter 261.

It had been a hard shift, one of their own had been brought in, after a massive heart attack, which had been brought on by diving in to the water to save Zoe Hanna, whose wedding it had been and all the team were feeling the sadness that weighed heavily on their hearts. But no one was feeling it more than Caleb Knight. He looked up to Charlie Fairhead, he was like a surrogate dad to him and Ethan. He was part of the team that was trying to save Charlie, but it didn't look good. The older man was lying on a stretcher, Connie's hands were pounding up and down, on his chest as she muttered: "Come on Charlie, "

Cal heard a voice say: "He's been asystole for 10 minutes, "

Cal give him more drugs than he should have, in an attempt to bring him back.

"What are you doing?" Connie shouted. She injected Charlie through his IV with a drug, which would hopefully reverse what Cal had done. But then the monitor started beeping. She did CPR again.

Connie felt for a pulse, there wasn't one, she turned to look at Cal.

Even though, she stayed quiet, it was like Cal could read above her head, it was like there was a thought bubble.

"You killed Charlie Fairhead."

Cal ran outside the double doors.

"Cal, " Ethan said, quietly, shaking his brothers shoulder, he had heard him screaming.

Cal did not look at his brother.

"Cal, " Ethan said again.

Cal finally looked at him, but Ethan noticed his hands were shaking and his face was wet.

"What's up?" Ethan asked, concerned.

"I killed Charlie, " Cal mumbled.

Ethan was shaking his head at him. "Cal, it was a dream, " He whispered.

"But it seemed so real, "

"Sometimes dreams do, " Ethan rubbed his brothers back, gently.

Cal sat up and wiped his eyes.

Ethan hugged him tight and then went to get him a cup of tea, and put sugar in it, as it was good for shock.

"Thanks Nibbles, " Cal whispered, taking a sip.

"That's OK, Cal. " Ethan smiled, hugging his brother again.
