The Secret Life Of Casualty.

Chapter 583.

It was the day of Will's surgery. Consent forms had been signed, he'd been weighed, had his BP taken.

"Have you eat, Will?" Connie asked.

"No, " Will shook his head.

There was a knock at the door. "Can we come in?" Ethan asked.

Connie looked at Will, who nodded.

"We just wanted to wish you luck for today, " Said Robyn, who kissed his cheek.

"Good luck, Will. " Archie smiled.

Soon, it was time to take Will to threatre. Lying on the bed as it was wheeled through the corridors, Will tried not to think about what was coming.

In threatre, he was moved to a bed, ventilated and the surgery began.

Will was lying in a side room again, an IV giving him fluids, a pulse oximeter on his finger, an oxygen mask on his face. At the end of the bed, Connie was standing. He removed the mask. "Connie, what is it?" He asked, knowing deep down, she had bad news.

"Connie, what is it?" He repeated, when she didn't say anything.

"I'm so sorry, Will. We couldn't remove all the tumor. "

Thank you for reading, I didn't do the surgery scene as I think I would have found it too complicated.
