"I'm sorry, but could you please repeat what you just said." Elizabeth said to Asuna.

'Sure, are there any planets that you didn't mine and colonize in this section of space or near your colonies?" Asuna said to the president before she used the fork that she held in her hand to cut a piece of lemon cream pie.

Elizabeth swallowed, this was meant to be a casual meeting between one of the players and her, it was something she was supposed to use to convince the alien in front of her to stay near the Alliance.

Yet the woman in front of her ad completely turned the tables on her, instead of easing into the topic, the woman had rather bluntly asked about the worlds near what was once the Alliance's borders.

"Yes there were several, but they weren't suitable for anyone to live on." Elizabeth began, but Asuna lifted her hand signaling her to stop.

"Can you tell me about any that don't have any minerals that you need and the Alliance won't be using anytime soon?"Asuna said to her.

From the corner of her eye, Elizabeth could see that their presence had caught the attention of several people.

If it wasn't because everyone now knew who she was, it was AAsunas unnatural beauty, unfortunately for her their conversation was being recorded and if it wasn't already being seen by everyone with an internet connection, it soon would be.

"We have a lot of planets that use to be Alliance colonies." Elizabeth said to Asun, but the young woman in front of her simply shook her head.

'Elizabeth waited for the woman to say something but she merely pointed the tip of the fork towards her.

Elizabeth watched as Asuna chewed another piece of pie before she began to speak.

"Those colonies belong to you and the survivors of the war, e cant or should I say we won't take any of those."

"By blood right those worlds belong to those that concerned them or those that reclaim them." Asuna said to her and Elizabeth couldn't help but feel a sense of pain and if she didn't know any better she would have sworn that Asuna had just insulted her and the Alliance.

"Could you explain what you just said?" Elizabeth said to Asuna as she did her best to keep herself from raising or hardening her voice.

"Normally when someone kills everyone on the planet they keep the planet and everything on it."

"But if the people they attack survive and can reclaim the planet, then it belongs to them."

"Your people will reclaim the worlds that you lost, so it's better if we stay clear of those so that you can recover faster." Asuna explained to her.

Elizabeth could hear the sound of hot grease long before she could smell the steak that she had ordered.

"But why would you want worlds that aren't able to sustain life?" she asked Asuna.

'Well if they can sustain life now then it's better if we make them able to." Asuna said to her.

'It's simple, we just put a shield around the planet and introduce animals and bacteria that will help the planet change faster, then we start making the climate change to what we need at the moment before we begin to send people down."

Elizabeth listened to Asuna's explanation, the woman's explanation was missing a lot of details but from the small pieces of information that she casually said made Elizabeth ignore her food and the waitress that had delivered it.

Shields that cover entire planets- animals and bacteria whose purpose was to terraform worlds and apparently the players have methods of altering the environment of entire plates for what they needed.

"Miss Auna is it possible that you might share any of these technologies with us."

'What I mean is if you would be willing to share how you terraform a world and how your shields work them we might be able to." Elizabeth said to Asuna who regretfully closed her eyes.

"I'm sorry but I can, you see things like these have to be voted on, and unfortunately all of the higher-ups have agreed that we can't share any of this technology with you." Asuna said to er.

"And why not?" Elizabeth said to Asuna as she tried to keep her emotions under control, it was so frustrating to know that several of the things that Humanity had always wanted were right there in front of her, and yet she wasn't able to claim any of them.

"Well because you are about to discover them yourselves, I mean they're right in front of you, but if we give you them now then you will never be able to figure them out on your own." Asuna answered her.

Elizabeth couldn't believe her ears, that was the stupidest thing she had ever heard.

Humanity had adapted more than one piece of alien technology, granted that the pieces of technology that they had been forced to understand were the ones that were widely used, but...

Her eyes widened as she began to calm down for better or worse the woman no the players were right.

"Then can you give us anything, anything that might help us recover or at the very least help us defend ourselves," she said to the young woman who finished eating the pie.

Elizabeth watched as Asuna lifted her hand and a hole opened in front of her.

She watched as Asuna pulled out what looked like a sword before placing it in front of her.

Elizabeth didn't say anything she just waited for Asuna to do something, she was tempted to pick up the sword but she knew that in more than one culture unless the person hands you the sword then you should never touch it.

She watched as Asuna grabbed the hilt of the sword and placed a small crystal in it.

The sword began to glow and Elizabeth could feel her eyes widen as Asuna carefully allowed the sword to cut into the sidewalk.

The woman hadn't done anything beyond holding the hit of the sword.

She watched as the blade of the sword vanished into the ground before its guards forced it to stop in its place.

"This is all I can give you make it count and by that I mean try to figure out how it works, and don't build any super weapons with it." Asuna said to her as she pulled out the swords and pulled the crystal out of the hilt.

Elizabeth watched as Asuna placed the tiny crystal in her palm of her, the crystal didn't weigh anything and yet she could feel some sort of energy coming from it.

"I need to go, so please send us the list of planets that fit the description I gave you." Asuna said to her before he vanished as she teleported back onto Aincrad.
