When we last saw our three haired Ed-Boy he was taking on a mob boss and his gang. How will he defeat these mobsters? Let's see…

A Jaguar Cub vs. Terrorizing Gangs Part 2

Last Time on Injustice Syndicate: The Rise…

"This should be fun!" Don said.

But that's when he noticed something. He scowled as he heard a door being knocked down and saw that five more intruders had entered his headquarters. And he could tell that they were with the kid. Eddy smiled as he saw Joseph, Roger, Matt, Timmy and Howard walk in with a few weapons of their own. Mainly crowbars and pitchforks. But Don merely smirked as he wasn't in the least bit intimidated by these new arrivals.

"I smell fear." he said as he looked in the group's direction.

"Shit! I told you they can smell it!" exclaimed Timmy.

"They can smell it?" Roger asked incredulously before sniffing himself. "Oh yeah, I have it! I have a lot of it!"

"Just stick near me, guys, and you'll be alright." Joseph said, keeping his cool even in this situation.

"Yeah! I'll watch your back!" Roger said to Timmy with restored confidence.

The moment was short lived as Howard felt something wet drip onto his foot. Of all the days he chose to wear open toed shoes it had to be when something like this was gonna happen.

"Hey!" he groaned as he looked at Matt.

The vertically challenged man held his sweaty hands up in a kind of placating gesture as he defended himself.

"Sorry man, it's just sweat! I'm nervous!" he said.

Don started laughing at what he thought of as a humorous situation. He honestly couldn't believe that this bunch of yellow bellies had chosen to stand up to him and his gang of hardened criminals.

"THAT'S your army?" Don asked with a laugh.

But all semblance of mirth left him as a new noise made itself known. It sounded almost like the sound of a car engine. But it couldn't be the cops. They'd have their sirens blaring as they attempted to storm the warehouse and the last time they tried they were taken down by a few of their solen military grade rocket launchers. But it also didn't sound like this particular car was going to be stopping anytime soon as the sound grew louder and louder.

Eddy gave a coy grin and said "Something tells me you may wanna take a couple of steps back."

And as the sound grew closer and closer, Don knew one thing for sure as he nervously took a step back. Round 2 has just begun. And with it came some new challengers.

Present Time…

A beatup old pickup truck came barreling through the wall of the warehouse. And inside were three of Eddy's cousins who he usually hung out with during family reunions. They were Josh, Louis, and Gunther. Gunther was the youngest of the three, but he was also the tallest as he stood at a total height of "6'3 and was ripped with lean muscles from years of taking various lessons in karate, judo, aikido, and boxing. In fact, he was the one who taught Eddy how to fight when the three-haired Ed-Boy was seven years old. But Eddy didn't think he'd need those skills up until this point.

Back on topic, Louis was the middle child and is in no way lacking in the height department between himself and his two siblings. He's got a bulkier frame with muscular arms, a barrel chest, and is usually seen wearing just a pair of denim overalls and farmer's boots. He has blue eyes, pale skin texture, and his blonde hair is a little on the thin side.

Finally, Josh is the oldest of the three with black hair that's graying on the sides, brown eyes, and tan skin. His choice of facial hair is a pair of mutton chops, and he wears a simple shirt, jeans, and sneakers. He's a little less bulky than Louis as he seems to have a body type fit more for speed and flexibility rather than just strength.

While Gunther was driving, Josh and Louis were standing out the side windows of the back seat. Each of them held a crowbar or a wooden bat for a weapon, but they'd be more than enough against a band of thugs like these guys. Eddy had sent word out to these three prior to his attack on the base since he knew he'd need backup, and the three were more than happy to oblige for their little cousin.

"HERE WE COME!" exclaimed Gunther.

"Here comes dry…" started Josh.

"Bone!" finished Louis.

And the two just went back and forth as they pumped themselves up for battle. A habit of theirs that they've never been able to kick.

"Dry…"

"Bone!

"DRY…"

"BONE!"

And it was at this point that Don realized… was was screwed!

He quickly got out of the way as the car started tearing through his base of operations. The mob boss quickly took cover behind some old chairs as he scowled and watched the carnage go down. Howard and Matt had already charged into the fray with Howard using his weighty bulk to quite literally mow down the weaker henchmen under the employ of the mob boss.

And they really were weak. The only reason they were of any use was that they had experience shooting guns. Other than that, these henchmen had no combat experience whatsoever. Hell, even Matt was doing decent as he landed on one man's shoulders and started yanking his face so hard that the man was literally running around like a chicken with its head cut off to try and dislodge his assailant, narrowly avoiding getting run over by the MuGee trio in the process.

"Aw, yeah! Step on it, baby!" exclaimed Josh.

All was going well for the three brothers, up until the car ran over a stray road spike that the mob had pilvered and tore open a tire. The three were sent spinning out of control and were forced to take shelter inside the car as it crashed into a wall! Eddy looked on in shock and worry for his cousins… until the doors opened and the three older men came rushing out with no injuries, ready to fight.

As one of the thugs tried to attack Eddy from the side, the lad knelt down and grabbed him around the leg before hoisting him across his small neck and grappling him with both arms. He looked at the thug with a grin that promised pain.

"I learned this move on television!"

He spun himself around like a top before giving the thug a suplex that would make any WWE Wrestler proud. This sudden resistance from the very people that the mob boss and his thugs had terrorized for so long did its job. The thugs were all in disarray as they attempted to fight off the invading force, forgetting all about their stolen military grade weapons that they had all over the place. As a result they were getting their butts handed to them on a silver platter.

Joseph himself was standing against a wall next to a small box with a wooden stake for a lock, looking bored as four thugs cackled and surrounded him. Each one was holding small weapons such as pocket knives and shivs made from mallet handles and razor blades.

"Well, well. What ever will I do?" Joseph asked rhetorically.

Right before clocking three of the thugs in the face with a hard kick each, knocking them out. The one remaining thug looked nervous and how his three comrades were taken down so easily by one man and started quivering in his boots. Much to Joseph's amusement.

"Oh, don't worry. I got something special for you."

The box began to rattle and shake as Joseph removed the stake from the lock. With a couple more big shakes, the box opened up and a little monster known as the resident wild child charged out into the fray! The lone thug freaked out and tried to run away, but the wild child was already on him before he could get very far. The thug kept trying to run as the wild child pulled on his eyelids and caused him immense pain.

His fellow thugs must have witnessed these events go down, because they all started running away as soon as the thug and wild child got close to them. Joseph just laughed as he watched the whole thing go down.

"I just love that little guy!" he said with a grin.

Meanwhile, Timmy was gathering up all of the valuables that had been looted from the town by these menacing mobsters, but quickly found himself at the mercy of one of the beefier goons. The man grabbed Timmy firmly by the neck, but not so hard that the man was choking. Although he sorely wished that were the case so he wouldn't have to remain conscious through what would likely be the beating of a lifetime.

"No!... No!" whimpered Timmy.

"Hi!" chirped Roger as he popped seemingly out of nowhere.

He bit the man's arm causing him to release Timmy, and when he let go his teeth were covered in blood. Roger developed a sort of crazed gleam in his eye as all of his pent up emotions from all of the trouble this mob put him, his friends, and his whole town through began to bubble right to the surface. And it was at that moment that the mobsters knew… they gon' fucked up!

"Consider this payback for all of the torment you've caused us all! Come here you bunch of mob cowards!" exclaimed Roger.

Needless to say, the mobsters ran for their lives with their tails between their legs as the crazed man chased after them. And as for Timmy? Well, he's just relieved that he's still alive. And of course Eddy was still taking down thugs with surprising ease. He didn't know how or why he was suddenly so much stronger than he was before Joker's attack, but he's sure glad that he is now. But as he was focused on the lower tier gang members he failed to notice that Don was sneaking up behind him with a rather large hunting knife in hand. He was ready to end this little brat and take back what he believed to be rightfully his. Even if it meant killing him with an underhanded sneak attack. After all, he's killed plenty of kids before in his career as a criminal. What's one more gonna matter?

Of course, Eddy's cousins and the other men from the town tried to warn Eddy, but he was too engrossed in the fight to hear them. As Don grew ever so closer, his hate filled grin growing by the second, Timmy suddenly remembered something he'd brought along with him. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small air horn. He quickly pointed it towards Eddy, and pressed the button releasing a loud sound that quickly got the boy's attention. In the corner of his eye, Eddy saw the gleam of metal from the hunting knife.

And just as Don drove the blade down…

...His wrist was caught in a vice grip by the three-haired Ed-Boy, who also made sure to grab his other arm! Eddy smirked at the now trembling mob boss.

"If you people remember me as anything… remember me as the boy who took down your entire criminal operation." he said quietly, a sharp edge in his voice.

With a roar of anger, Eddy threw Don up against the door of one of his many armored trucks, surprisingly breaking the glass of the window in the process. He quickly took the hunting knife from the man and raised it to stab him through the head and end his reign of terror for good. But as he was about to do so, Eddy hesitated. Because he could see the look in Don's eyes. It was the same look that Eddy had every time he, Ed, and Double Dee ended up being attacked for some reason or another by Kevin. Or when they were running away from the Kankers and their unwanted advances.

But especially when they were fighting for their lives when the Joker invaded the Cul-De-Sac.

That look of fear and helplessness caused Eddy to think. Despite this man's many crimes against innocent people perhaps there was a chance that he might be able to find redemption. Maybe he's sounding too much like the Justice League, but if he bloodies his hands here and now he'll be no better than this man and the scum that he calls his henchmen. So instead of killing him, Eddy leveled Don with a fierce glare as he held the blade of the knife to his throat.

"Never come back!" hissed Eddy.

Don nodded in return and whimpered as he was released. Releasing a breath, Eddy turned around and started walking away completely missing the malevolent smirk that appeared on Don's face as he drew a pocket knife. He slowly stood up while Eddy stopped as he seemed to sense an oncoming threat.

"DIE YOU LITTLE SHIT!" roared Don as he charged.

But Eddy was quick to react.

He twisted his body out of the way just as Don thrust his knife forward, and plunged the hunting knife he'd taken all the way through the mob boss's greedy, black heart. Don gasped in pain and outrage as he felt the metal pierce his flesh. He released a few pitiful gasps as the life left him and he fell to the ground, dead as a doornail. Eddy started trembling as the adrenaline wore off and he very quickly realized what he had done.

He just made his first kill…

His first human kill...

***To Be Continued…***

Okay everyone, that's it for this chapter! I know it's shorter than the previous one, but I felt like this was a good way to end the chapter as we see Eddy taking his first steps to becoming the kind of hero that's not afraid to kill the bad guys when necessary. Both Ed and Double Dee will also get to have moments like this later on in the story. Hope to see you all in my next update. See ya later!

Poll Question: I'm thinking about writing a My Hero Academia/Dragon Ball Z crossover where Izuku becomes a member of Frieza's clan. Is that a story you'd like to see?
