Leaning back against the chair with both his hands crossed in front of his chest, a young man with crimson eyes let out a sigh as more and more reports popped up on the big computer screen. Ever since Boboiboy went out of commission, the crime rate had rapidly increased. Some even got the nerves to attack the TAPOS' headquarter in the middle of an important meeting. If possible, they would want to resume their quest in retrieving the other power spheres before they could be used to cause harm. However, with everything going on, it was impossible.
"If only we weren't so short handed..."
Then all of a sudden, the radar went off. An undefined spaceship was heading this way. Yet, he just simply turned it off and pushed him up, exiting the room. As he made his way down the hangar's stairs, the door opened letting a small spaceship inside then closed back up. The next second, it's door was blown open by a powerful attack, but he continued to approach it like nothing had happened. From beyond the smoke screen, that person appeared. Seeing him, the young man smiled.
"Welcome back, Thunderstorm."
Though they were the same, he couldn't exactly address him as "Boboiboy". If he did, "this child" would get mad.
"..."
"What's wrong? Don't tell me you and Earthquake have a fight."
"Not really." He turned away while lighting discharged from his right fist. "He knew."
"Oh?"
"You didn't tell him anything, did you?"
"I already had my hands tied with a child. Do you really think I've time to go on a date with someone else?"
"I'm serious!" Thunderstorm punched his chest softly while pouting.
At that moment, he let out a laugh and patted his head while wrapping his hand around his waist.
"Of couse not. It would be troublesome if someone finds out. Now, how about a hot bath?"
"No, I still have more training to do."
"Haven't you done enough all ready?" The report stating the army of elite androids guarding Boboiboy on planet Quabaq flashed through his mind.
"It's never enough."
"I see. In that case..." He leaned down, picking the teen up and carried him over his shoulder. "...there is only one thing to do."
"Wha--Where are you taking me?!"
"To the bedroom, of couse. I doubt you can continue training without any stamina left." He smirked. Meanwhile, Thunderstorm's face burnt up.
"Y-you animal!"
"That's no way to address your senior." He spanked him. "If you have a problem, try beating me then."
"I-I won't lose!"
"Hahaha. We'll see about that!"
"It's time and yet, Fang hasn't reported. Just what is he doing?"
Several hours earlier, Spaceship Archives...
Returning the book in his hand to the highest shelf then took the one right next to it, Solar jumped down and dashed to the windowsill where he rested his back and relaxed. He made quick work of it in five minutes then put it back where it belonged.
"That's the last of them." He let out a sigh before turning to the red power sphere which was hooked to the control panel. "Hey Databot."
"Hm?"
"Do you know any way I can entertain myself? I'm bored."
"You finished reading all the books we got yesterday already?"
"Yeah, they weren't very thick in the first place."
"Your definition is quite...abnormal." All the ones they got were one thousand pages and up. "But to answer your question, I'm afraid no result pop up."
"I see." He sighed. "There isn't anything around here need fixing either."
A few months ago, after bursting Databot out of TAPOS' station, Solar brought the power sphere back to this ruin down spaceship and started giving it an upgrade. Thanked to his modification, it's storage capacity, just like knowledge, became infinity while it could answer right away once a question was made instead of having to load for an extreme long time like before. Then, he started working on the spaceship with the spare parts he managed to round up. And before anyone noticed, after years of being stuck, forgotten in the desert, it finally returned among the stars. Occasionally, they would stop at a remote planet to refill and spread knowledge to the children as well as get their hands on some ancient books. As for everything else, Solar just asked Databot to print him a copy from his memories. Though he had to hide every time, the teen didn't have any objection as long as he got a new book to read.
As he wondered if he should just break something then repaired it, an idea flashed through his mind. Without a second thought, he jumped down and headed straight to the exit not forgetting to say his goodbye to Databot.
"It's time I move on."
...
Dashing forward while all the metal doors behind him dropped down one by one, that person headed to the control room. Once there, he performed the emergency protocol. Yet, just when he was about to send the distress signal, a solar beam hit and destroyed the panel in the blink of an eye. At the same time, a familiar voice echoed in the air.
"That's not good, Fang." He stepped through the big melted hole on the door as his grey diamond eyes glowed. "I told you, didn't I? I don't want anyone interrupting us."
"Boboiboy..." The dark purple haired teen bit his lower lip.
"It's Solar, and I prefer you address me as so." He jumped down with both his hands in his pockets. "Now, let's make a deal, shall we~?"
