Slowly opened his eyes, Solar glanced at the clock on the wall. When he saw what time it was, he let out a helpless sigh.

"To think I would oversleep... I must be more tired than I thought." As he pushed himself up and fixed his cap, he noticed the empty table just a while ago was now filled with food. They were being kept hot and steamy in a special cover. Though he doubted there was actually any poisonous substance on broad, even at such distance, he could tell the color and texture didn't feel quite right. Though hesitation struck, he came and sat down at the table, trying a bite of what seemed to be spicy curry which he instantly regreted.

"Disgusting! No one in the right mind would eat these!"

Despite his cruel words, the teen still finished his share. He then made his way to the far southeast side of the station where he found Fang trying to hit a ball of light with a broom before it decided to torch it into dust, even chasing him back while firing its deadly beam. However, upon hearing its name being called, it stopped and flew to Solar, rubbing against his cheek like a kitten begging for affection.

"What a surprise. I thought you would have already fled by now, yet you're still here..." He glanced at the pink arpon with white dots on the teen's body. "...cleaning."

"I'm not gonna leave when you have the other staffs locked up. Beside...a deal is a deal."

A few hours ago, the control room...

"A deal? What kind of deal?"

"Simple, we're going to have a little battle, you and me. If you win, I'll tell you where the others are. You're looking for them, right?"

"Who are you fooling? You guys have been separated for months! There'sno way--"

"We're connected in ways you could never understand." His eyes suddenly sharpened. "So what do you say, Fang? Do we have a deal?"

"You haven't said what happenes if I lose."

"Are you scared?"

"In your dream!" The purple haired teen said as he summoned his Shadow Eagle.

"Then, if I win, you'll have to do whatever I said." He smirked.

Present time...

"Heh? So you ain't a complete idiot."

"What does that supposes to mean?!"

"Hmph. I suggest you don't mess with Mini Solar. He could easily wipe out a planet in the blink of an eye when given the chance." As if to prove his statement, it started to release heatwaves turning the hallway into a stream room in a mere second.

"So...hot..." His sweat vaporised before having the chance to hit the floor.

"That's enough." Solar patted it lightly and Mini Solar stopped. "Good boy."

"Just what are you planning?" Fang clenched his fists.

"Hm?"

"Of all the TAPOS' stations, why pick the one barely serving any purpose?" The only reason why he came to this place in the first place was to restock on supplies

"Who knows." He started blankly. "I was just bored."

"You--" A ray of solar energy grazed his right cheek before making a hole on the wall behind.

"Careful with what you're about to say." Solar pulled his cap down. "Next time, I won't miss."

Before this situation, Fang unconsciously spoke the only thing he could think off.

"What will you have me do?"

A few days later...

"Here's the things you wanted." The purple eyes teen said he entered the room carrying a big cardboard box filled with high-tech stuffs. However, that person surrounded with wires, bolt and parts continued to mess around with the control panel. It's a miracle that the station hadn't shut down or explosive yet. After his second failed attempt of getting his attention, Fang simply just put the box down at the only open spot on the floor. However, when he turned to leave, that familiar voice echoed in the air.

"What happens to your arm?"

The next thing he knew, Solar was staring straight at him. Unconsciously, he hid it behind his back.

"It's just a scratch."

It was then he dropped everything and reached out his hand.

"Show me."

"..."

"Don't make me repeat myself, Fang."

With no other choice at hand, the teen once again did what he was told. The moment he saw it, Solar furrowed his brows. His arm was heavily infected. Even the bandage stained in blood had turned dark grey and stuck to his flesh.

"It really isn't that bad..." He wanted to pull it back. However, the teen gripped his wrist tight.

"Don't treat me as if I'm Thorn!"

With that said, he pulled Fang into his chest and locked him in place before switching his gripping hand, cutting into his flesh with the energy forced at the tip of his index finger. It hurt so bad that the teen wiggled none stop as his shadow power started to go out of control forming a beast of unknown origin. Yet, Solar paid it no mind even when it was trashing the place. However, the moment it raised its claws against him, its fate was sealed

"Don't get in my way!"
