Pokémon and Ponies

#68-How to approach Pokémon

Frenzy Forest.

The lesson on how to approach and interact with certain Pokemon continues. So far, the results have mostly been good for the students.

Whether it'd be a family of Pyroar's and Litleo, a Tauros and Bouffalant butting heads or a Vespiquen being betrayed by her own Combee's along with a group of Nickit's and a Thievul, this lesson has given the ponies new experiences so far.

Currently, with the CMC, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, they've ended up in an area in the forest full of Dragon-Type Pokemon. Of all the types they managed to bump into, it ended up being the most destructive Pokemon Type of them all.

"Oh! Look at all the Dragons!" Scootaloo exclaimed as she and her friends gawked at the sight of the Dragons.

From the ferocious Haxorus to the steel-hearted Kommo-o, the Dragon-Type Pokemon are majestic as they are dangerous. Not even size could bring them down. Even the smallest Dragons were fierce.

However, whenever a group of Dragon-Types are close to each other or in the same area, most of the time, they break out into fights. Similar to how Fighting-Type Pokemon battle each other to test their strengths, Dragon Pokemon take part in similar sessions but on the more destructive side.

But this time, they weren't battling each other for dominance. Instead, from what the girls could see, the Dragons were shuddering and silent. Which is unusual considering how fearless they are.

"Is it me or are they...shaking in fear?" Silver Spoon squinted her eyes.

"Hm? Dragon Pokemon? Shaking in fear? Yeah, right. Dragon-Types aren't afraid of anything." Scootaloo shook her head. "Are they?"

"They look pretty shaken up to me. What about this Pokemon?" Sweetie Belle went over to the Dragon Pokemon. The first one she approached was a Haxorus. She could see how Haxorus was staying completely still as if something had petrified it. She took out her Pokedex to see Haxorus's dex entry.

"Haxorus. The Axe Jaw Pokemon. They are kind but can be relentless when defending territory. They challenge foes with tusks that can cut steel. These Pokémon are covered in hard armour."

"H-Haxorus..." Haxorus shuddered.

"What's gotten them so scared?" Sweetie Belle wondered.

"I don't know. But it must've been something really big if they're all moving like this." Apple Bloom looked over at a Gabite that was curled up into a ball.

"Well, I'm sure it's not that big of a deal. Besides. This makes approaching them a lot easier than being sneaky about it." Scootaloo went up to the curled up Gabite.

"G-Gabite..." Once Scootaloo got close to the Cave Pokemon, Gabite immediately stood up, moving away from the young pegasus.

"Uh...okay," Scootaloo uttered, confused on why Gabite would be scared of her. In fact, when the girls approached each Dragon Pokemon, they all either backed away or just shuddered even further. As if they weren't allowed to make contact with them.

"Something's not right here." Diamond Tiara could tell that something was amiss. "There's somepony doing this to them."

"Like who?" Silver Spoon asked.

"Somepony so controlling that it has all the Dragon-Types acting differently. Which means that whoever it is, they've forced to stop acting like their true selves." Diamond Tiara answered.

"What, like, another Dragon?" Sweetie Belle turned to her.

"Worse. I think it's something much less intimidating than a Dragon. A Fairy."

"Oh yeah..." Scootaloo nodded. "Fairies are immune to Dragons. I can see them being afraid of that Pokemon Type."

"I still don't get how Fairies can beat Dragons..." Apple Bloom went over to a bush where a Bagon was hiding.

Just then, Apple Bloom noticed a pink glow coming from the deeper part of the forest. That mysterious glow met with Apple Bloom's eyes as her pupils suddenly transformed into hearts. Almost as if it was enchanting her.

The young-earth pony moved past Bagon, unable to resist this glow at all. She left her friends behind along with all the Dragon-Type Pokemon.

Bagon didn't even try to stop her. Because it knew of what was dwelling deep within the forest and what the pink glow was.

"I still don't see those shiny medals Principal Cynthia mentioned." Silver Spoon looked around. "Did you all find any yet?"

"Nothing. I thought I saw one earlier but that was just a Chingling reflecting off the sun." Scootaloo replied as she searched inside of tree stumps, but found nothing.

"It'd be funny if we came across a Pokemon that looks like a medal. Right Apple-" Sweetie Belle giggled as she was about to laugh in Apple Bloom's direction. But once the young unicorn turned her head, she noticed that her friend wasn't present at the moment. "Apple Bloom? Where'd she go?"

"Hm?" Hearing that grabbed the attention of Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "Now they were aware of Apple Bloom's missing presence.

"Did she go ahead of us or something?" said Diamond Tiara.

"Hold on." Scootaloo went into her bag, taking out her Xtransceiver to contact Apple Bloom. By selecting her friend's number, she made the call, waiting for Apple Bloom to pick up her Xtransceiver.

But she never did.

And naturally, that kind of non-existent response can really make a friend worry. Which what the others did. With Apple Bloom missing, they were starting to panic a small bit.

"Okay...so she's not picking up." Scootaloo gulped. "No need to worry as Ash and Dawn say."

"Where could she be?! We didn't even hear her leave!" Silver Spoon screeched.

"Something's not right here for sure." Diamond Tiara bit her hoof. "Let's start searching. She couldn't have gone far."

Speaking of Apple Bloom, once she reached the deepest part of the forest where the pink glow came from, her senses were slowly returning to her.

But even with that, she was still far away from her friends and definitely all the other students for sure. Once she snapped out of it, Apple Bloom looked around her surroundings, seeing that she had lost herself.

"Huh?" Apple Bloom shot up with her pupils reverting to their usual look. "What happened? Where am I?" Dazed, confused and unsure of where she was, Apple Bloom was now a lone pony, separated from the students as she was in uncharted territory now. "Girls! Where are you?!" Even calling for her friends wouldn't work at all. It was just her.

Or at least, it seemed that way. Until an ominous yet familiar voice called for her. "Toge..."

That voice sent chills down her spine. It was an uncomfortable feeling that Apple Bloom wished she would never feel. The source of the voice wasn't too far away. In fact, it was closer than Apple Bloom thought.

By shifting her eyes to the side, from the corner, she noticed something in the shadows. As she squinted her eyes, the young earth pony took a moment to see who exactly was lurking in the shadows.

Instead of approaching it, the individual came out themselves, emerging from the dark parts of the forest. Lo and behold, it was none other than the demon in an angel mask.

Togepi.

"Toge-ge-Toge." She cackled.

"You?!" Apple Bloom gasped.

"Toge...Pi!" Topgei raised her arms, calling for her minions which she surprisingly had. Very soon, it was revealed why the Dragon-Types were terrified.

Because Togepi had them under her beck and call. Her minions were a Gabite and a Fraxure who stood beside, acting as bodyguards. They had no choice but to listen to her for obvious reasons.

One being the fact that she is a Fairy and two, she does have the power to charm anyone. Although they aren't really under mind control at the moment, they're just being threatened.

"I'm not up for this..." Apple Bloom shook her head as she backed up slowly, planning on getting out of this part of the forest and back to her friends.

Unfortunately, Togepi knew something like this would happen, so she had more minions. When Apple Bloom backed up, she bumped into a group of Fraxure's who prevented her from escaping. They didn't want to force Apple Bloom to stay here, but they had no other choice.

"Togepi..." Togepi grinned as she finally had a captive with her. Since Apple Bloom was from Ponyville and Togepi has a bone to pick with that town and its mayor, having one of its many citizens here gave Togepi many opportunities to get her revenge. "Ge! Togepi!"

Togepi commanded the Dragons to restrain Apple Bloom so that she doesn't try anything to escape. They all closed in on the young earth pony as she was corned from all sides. From the Fraxure's the single Gabite, it looked there was no escape.

"Uh...Uh..." She lowered herself on the ground, trembling in fear as she reached inside of her saddlebag. "Emolga, help!" Apple Bloom sent out her Emolga for assistance.

"Emol!" The Sky Squirrel Pokemon sensed the cry of its trainer as it immediately used Swift on the Dragons by spinning its body around to attack from all sides.

The Dragons gasped as stars came flying out of Emolga, forcing them to move away from Apple Bloom. "Thanks, Emolga! Carry me up!"

"Molga!" Emolga lowered herself whilst Apple Bloom raised her hooves, allowing the Sky Squirrel Pokemon to pick her trainer up from the ground. "Emol...!" Emolga struggled to lift her a bit but she had enough strength to pull through.

"Pi! Togepi!" Togepi wasn't about to let her hostage escape. She commanded all of the Dragons to knock Emolga out of the sky at once.

Each of the Dragons used Dragon Breath and Dragon Rage to try and force Emolga and Apple Bloom back down to the ground.

Swirling twisters of draconic energy and purplish-blue flames filled the air as the Sky Squirrel Pokemon used Double Team to evade the attacks.

All of them missed seemingly thanks to Emolga agile evasion as the Electric-Flying-Type managed to get some good distance away from Togepi and her minions.

In truth, the Dragons were barely trying to hit Emolga and Apple Bloom at all. Since they had no issues with them whatsoever, they pulled their punches and only put a little bit of effort in their attacks to try and convince Togepi.

But there was no convincing her. She could see that they were holding back. This enraged Togepi as she watched Emolga and Apple Bloom escape.

Frustrated and annoying, Togepi took her anger out on the Dragon Pokemon by shooting a Dazzling Gleam from her tiny little hands. Rays of rainbows were fired at the Dragons, causing them all to cower in fear.

"Togepi!" Togepi shouted at the Dragon Pokemon, telling them that they were pathetic excuses for Dragons since they couldn't bring themselves to harm a little girl and her partner.

The Spike Ball Pokemon would have taken matters into her own hands. Which involved heading out of the darkest parts of the forest.

Emolga and Apple Bloom landed safely on the ground, entering a new part of the forest. They were positive that they had escaped Togepi and the Dragons. But even still, Apple Bloom knew that there was a massive threat lingering around the forest.

"I gotta warn the others! Togepi knows we're here now!" Apple Bloom shouted. "Return, for now, Emolga." She returned Emolga to its Poke Ball.

However, now she had no idea which part of the forest she was in now. From her surroundings, she could see that there were a ton of Psychic-Type Pokemon. Meaning this was a Psychic area.

She wasn't sure how far away she was from her friends. But distance didn't matter right now as Apple Bloom set off to find the others and warm them.

Meanwhile, with Rarity and Starlight, they weren't searching for specific types like the others. They were just seeing which Pokemon they would end up bumping into along the way.

Starlight was especially nervous since she's not really an expert at approaching Pokemon. Not to mention her being a rookie to Pokemon in general.

Everypony else has had time to learn about Pokemon in many unique and different ways. At this point, they can be considered exceptional trainers, even if they still have a long way to go. Starlight, however, not so much.

She and Rarity came across two Pokemon they had never seen before. It was small, pink and looked like it had bat wings. This Pokemon matched the description of the Wily Pokemon Impidimp.

"That's a new face." Rarity took out her dex for this. "What can you tell us about this one, Dexter?"

"Impidimp. The Wily Pokemon. Through its nose, it sucks in the emanations produced by people and Pokémon when they feel annoyed. It sneaks into people's homes, stealing things and feasting on the negative energy of the frustrated occupants."

"Dark and Fairy. That's a combination I thought I'd never see." Rarity said as she closed her dex. "But in any case, let's try and approach those two.

"S-Should we?" Starlight shuddered. "I'm not sure I'd get close to a Pokemon that steals and eats negative energy."

"No need to worry, Starlight. After all, this lesson is to help us interact properly with certain Pokemon and their behaviours. Even the mischievous ones."

"Yeah, I know..." Starlight shifted her eyes rapidly.

Rarity examined Starlight's facial expression. She could see that her fellow unicorn was actually very hesitant in not just approaching Impidimp, but possibly every Pokemon in this entire forest. "You're nervous, aren't you?"

"Me? Nervous?" Psssh..." Starlight tried to shrug it off, but she wasn't fooling Rarity. "No. Not at all...A little bit."

"Understandable. But something confuses me. You own a Hatterene which has an...interesting response to those who emote too much. You approached her the first time you two met, correct?"

"Not really." Starlight shook her head. "You see, Hatterene actually came to me instead. It was a... pretty interesting experience honestly." She laughed nervously. "Especially when I first met her when she was still a little Hatenna."

"I see. Well then. Just stay behind me at all times. I'll have my Pokemon here protect you as well."

"S-Sure, you can go ahead. Oh, but wait. Let me quickly call-" Starlight used her magic to grab her Xtransceiver, but came to find out that it wasn't there. And worst of all, Hatterene's Poke Ball was missing too. "Huh? What in the...?"

"What's wrong, Starlight?" Rarity turned around.

"It's gone." She looked inside her bag, seeing that there was nothing inside of it. "Both of them are gone!" She screeched.

"What's gone? What did you lose?"

"My Xtransceiver and Hatterene's Poke Ball! They're both gone!" She showed Rarity the inside of her bag as it was empty.

"Oh!" Rarity's eyes widened.

"I haven't taken anything out yet! Where did they-" Before Starlight could finish her sentence, she and Rarity heard giggles coming from the tree above them.

By raising their heads to follow the noise, the unicorns noticed that three Impidimps were standing on the tree, cackling and giggling. "Impidimp!"

But most importantly, from what Starlight and Rarity could tell that they were the reason why Starlight's Xtransceiver and Poke Ball had gone missing. Because they were in the hands of these three little troublemakers.

"My Poke Ball and Xtransceiver..." Starlight muttered under her breath by clenching her teeth. "You thieves!"

"Dimp! Impidimp!" The three of them blew their tongues out at her, only incurring Starlight's wrath. In response, Starlight used her magic to grab the trio of Impidimp's, forcing them down from the three as the purple unicorn narrowed her eyes at her. "Imp?!"

"Hand them over!" She ordered.

"Impidimp-dimp." Despite Starlight's raised voice and how she grabbed them each, the Impidimp's were simply laughing at her, seemingly unphased by Starlight's anger.

"Now, Starlight...Let's not do anything rash." Rarity tried to calm Starlight down. But it was soon revealed why the Impidimp's were laughing.

It turns out, the other two Impidimps that they had come across were already planning on stealing from Rarity as well when she wasn't looking.

And that's what they did. By using their small bodies and grubby little hands, they managed to open up Rarity's saddlebag without making a sound.

The other Imipidimp's snickered as they tried to not expose their teammates. But Rarity had seen a situation like this before. It wasn't new to her. As such, she turned her head around, catching the other two Impidimp's in the act.

"Aha!"

"Dimp?!" The two of them gasped as Rarity held them in place with her magic.

"Thought you could get the better of me, hm?" Rarity smirked as the Impidimp's were finally starting to get nervous.

Seeing as they had been caught red-handed. It was time for the next best option. Use Fake Tears to make them feel flustered.

All five of them suddenly broke into tears, crying at the top of their lungs as Starlight was indeed flustered, meaning that Fake Tears was working its magic. "Dimp! Impidimp!"

"Huh?!" Starlight pulled back. She didn't expect them to just start crying out of nowhere. Starlight hasn't really ever come across something like this before. "Oh, no-no! Don't cry! I didn't mean to shout!" She tried to calm them down. "Stop crying!"

"Impidiiiiiimp!" They increased the power of their crying, making Starlight feel bad in just a few seconds.

"Rarity, help me out here!" Starlight turned to her friend. But when she did, she noticed that Rarity was both unphased, undaunted and unamused.

She was so unamused that she looked down at the Impidimp's with a shadow casting over her face as her eyes could pierce through metal and even scare the toughest of Pokemon if they look into it.

"...Do you think I'm some sort of silly filly?" Rarity narrowed her eyes as the Impidimp's shuddered. "I know Fake Tears when I see them. Cut the act."

"I-Impidimp!" The Impidimp's were perplexed that Rarity was overpowering them like this. Their heist had come to a bust now.

"Those were Fake Tears? Looked pretty convincing to me," said Starlight.

"Put them back in. Now." Rarity ordered as her attitude was enough to make the Impidimp's listen to her every command.

"Dimp!" The Dark-Fairy-Types placed all of the items they stole back inside of their saddlebags. From the Poke Balls to the Xtransceivers, not a single thing was left behind or hidden.

"Good." Rarity closed her saddlebag as the Impidimp's all backed away from her.

"Wow, Rarity...You did that flawlessly..." Starlight was impressed. "With just a look and a few words?"

"Sometimes, there are certain Pokemon where you have no choice but to be strict on them. Much like how Fighting-Types enjoy strict trainers since it helps them develop more. Brawly taught us that."

"Ooh...So does this count as a way to approach a Pokemon?"

"I believe so. Come on then. Let's see if we can find those medals somehow."

Frenzy Forest.

There are four situations currently ongoing. The first is the lesson of how to approach certain Pokemon, Apple Bloom searching for her friends to warn them about Togepi, her friends also searching for her, and Togepi who is currently on the loose.

How this all turns out is undecided. But more importantly, Rainbow Dash on her own, searching for a Pokemon that she's never seen before so that she can approach them, instead of just going towards any Pokemon like the others.

"I've already seen most of these Pokemon" Rainbow Dash yawned. "When am I gonna see something new and cool?

She was currently in an area with mostly Ground-Type Pokemon. Rainbow Dash had already seen the Pokemon here and gathered their information on her Pokedex. She wasn't aware of how differently some of these Ground-Types behave in different situations. She was just searching for a brand new Pokemon.

As Rainbow Dash continued walking, her hoof came in contact with something unexpected. She was right near some mud, and the moment her hoof stepped on it, something clamped onto her hoof.

"Ow!" She winced as she flew up. Rainbow Dash looked at her hoof, blowing at it to ease the pain. "What was that?!" By looking over at the mud, she could see that a Pokemon emerged from it.

That Pokemon being a Galarian Stunfisk, who had a cheeky grin on its face after catching Rainbow Dash off guard like that.

"Stun-Stun!" It laughed.

"A Stunfisk?" She took out her Pokedex for this different looking Stunfisk.

"Stunfisk. The Trap Pokemon. Galarian Variant. Living in the mud with a high iron content has given it a strong steel body. Its conspicuous lips lure prey in as it lies in wait in the mud. When prey gets close, Stunfisk clamps its jagged steel fins down on them."

"Yeah, well I wasn't lured in whatsoever." Rainbow closed her dex. She brushed Stunfisk's sneak attack off, even though she did, in fact, get caught off guard. "Maybe I should find Applejack and Twilight. They're searching for Fire-Types and those are always cool."

Believing that she could find new Pokemon in the form of Fire-Types, Rainbow Dash flew off to search for Twilight and Applejack.

But, her being in the skies made her find somepony else. That pony ended up being Apple Bloom who was worried and in search of her friends.

"Apple Bloom?" Rainbow Dash returned to ground level, approaching the young earth pony.

"Rainbow Dash!" Apple Bloom dashed over to her. "Trouble! Togepi! Lost! HELP!"

"Slow down!" Rainbow Dash shoved her hoof in Apple Bloom's mouth. "What was that part about a Togepi?" She removed her hoof.

"My friends and I came across an area full of Dragon-Type Pokemon! They were all acting weird and were afraid of something!"

"That something being...?"

"I think it's Togepi. Since she's a Fairy-Type after all."

"Is it the same Togepi that tricked us in Ponyville?" Rainbow Dash leaned forward.

"I think so." She nodded in response. "I'm trying to find the others and warn them but...I got lost."

"No need to worry. I'm here now." Rainbow patted her head. "I'll see if I can find them for you." She took out her Xtransceiver, selecting Scootaloo, trainer number as she made the call.

With Scootaloo, her Xtransceiver was ringing, prompting the little pegasus to pick it up and answer. "Rainbow Dash? Hello?"

"Scootaloo. You all doing okay?"

"Uh, yeah. We're fine. We're just looking for Apple Bloom right now. She just went missing all of a sudden."

"I'm fine. See?" Apple Bloom moved her face in front of Rainbow Dash's.

"Oh! That's a relief." Scootaloo sighed. "Where were you? You just up and vanished."

"Not sure. One minute I'm with you and the next I'm in some dark part of the forest."

"Did you see any new Ghost-Types there?" Sweetie Belle mushed her face next to Scootaloo, coming into view of the Xtransceiver screen.

"No. But I did see Togepi and a bunch of other Dragon-Types. Might be the same Togepi that came to Ponyville?"

"That one? Eugh, I remember her." Scootaloo winced.

"That would explain a few things..." Diamond Tiara nodded. "She's probably the reason why the Dragons are acting like this."

"She's somewhere in this forest now. I think Togepi might be coming for us now that she knows that ponies are here." Apple Bloom gulped.

"Ah, it's not that big of a problem. We'll just thrash her if we bump into her." Scootaloo brushed it off.

"About that..." Apple Bloom clenched her teeth, looking to the side. "That part about...a bunch of other Dragon-Types. They're...working for her."

"Oh." Scootaloo's eyes widened. "That's a big problem then."

"Where are you all even? We'll come to you." Rainbow Dash asked.

"We're at uh..." Scootaloo looked at her surroundings, seeing that she and the others were at an area for Water and Grass-Type Pokemon. "Someplace with a bunch of Water and Grass Pokemon."

"Alright. We'll be there in no time." Rainbow Dash reassured as she hung up the call, turning off the Xtransciever. "Hop on, Apple Bloom."

"Okay!" Apple Bloom hopped on Rainbow Dash's back. Due to her earth pony strength, Rainbow Dash's bones trembled a bit.

"Mmmrph!" She scrunched her face, trying to shrug the pain off. "O-Okay. Let's go. Ow...!" As Rainbow Dash took to the skies, the duo set off to find Scootaloo's group.

With Team Rocket, they're here to find themselves their own Pokemon. And of course, snag some of the students' Pokemon but more importantly their own.

Jessie desires Fairies, Meowth seeks good-looking Pokemon whilst James is just content with whatever kind of Pokemon he comes across. But so far, Jessie and Meowth haven't really come across any Pokemon that they prefer. But James certainly has.

"Seeing this Cacnea reminds me of my own." James kneeled to look at a Cacnea. "Ah, the memories..."

"Cac!" The Cactus Pokemon enjoyed James's positive energy. So as a response, it latched itself onto James's face with its spiky body. "Nea!

"Aaagh!" James screamed in pain as he held Cacnea, trying to get it off him.

"Yeah, well don't get too attached. There has to be a Fairy spot around here somewhere." Jessie looked around. "Meowth, get digging."

"I ain't digging through all of this. My paws are too pure to get dirty." Meowth held his paws up along with his sharp claws.

"Oh, don't start complaining. You've gotten them dirty when the moment calls for it. And the moment is now!" Jessie picked up Meowth. "Learn Dig!"

"It doesn't work like that!" Meowth shouted back at her. "James, help me out here!"

"Bit occupied right now!" James still had Cacnea on his face.

Team Rocket's constant babbling and yelling grabbed the attention of every Pokemon here. But more importantly, it also grabbed the attention of the two ponies who had ended up arriving here. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.

"Hm? Isn't that the school's Guidance Counsellor Jessamine?" Fluttershy spoke.

"And the janitors too. They look like they're having fun!" Pinkie exclaimed.

Her shouting ended up reaching the ears of Team Rocket as they paused for a moment. By turning their heads, the spotted Pinkie and Fluttershy standing before them as they were hoping their cover hadn't been blown.

"Twerpettes!" They thought to themselves in unison.

"Are you three here for the lesson as well?" Fluttershy went over.

"Uh..R-Right!" Jessie nodded nervously. "We're here looking for Pokemon ourselves that's for sure! For me personally, it's the wonderful Fairy-Types!"

"Oh! But wait...why are the janitors here?" Pinkie asked.

"Same reason!" Jessie squeezed Meowth's face as the Scratch Cat Pokemon groaned. "We can't wait to catch some of our own!"

"That's great. What kind of Pokemon do they want?" Fluttershy flew up.

"A beauty's for me. And nothing else." Meowth nodded his head.

"I'll take anything! Cacnea please!" James was still trying to get Cacnea off his face. Fluttershy went over to help him as James was finally free. "Oh...thank you."

"If you're looking for some Pokemon, we can help out. Right Fluttershy?" Pinkie Pie offered.

"Sure!" Fluttershy nodded. "But um...Won't it get in the way of our lesson?"

"Pssh! Nah!" Pinkie flailed her hoof. "It'll be fine. Besides, it counts as teachers being beside us too!"

"Then it's official!" Jessie dashed over, placing her arms around Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. "Let's get searching!"

"Okay!" Pinkie Pie shouted with her as they all raised their hooves, arms and paws along with their Pokemon.

"Wobbuffet!"

"Cacnea!" And Cacnea was along for the ride since it was attached to James.

Their combined shouting was loud enough to reach all the way over to the nearest group of students. That being Twilight and Applejack who were still on their Fire-Type search.

"Did you hear that?" Twilight looked up.

"Hear what?" Applejack responded.

"Nevermind. Do you see any new Fire-Types yet?"

"I saw something over there." Applejack pointed west as her hoof was facing a hill located in the forest. "Looked all mystical."

"Mystical you say?" Twilight looked up at the hill. "Think it might be a Psychic or Fairy-Type?"

"Wanna find out?"

"100%" Twilight was already up for it as the two agreed on checking it out. Even if it was unknown what was really located up that hill.

Whatever was up that hill may be a mystery, but what was just as mysterious was how when Twilight and Applejack advanced further up, the grass itself was somehow whispering in their ears by flowing with the wind. The words were hard to pick up on, but the two of them knew that somehow, it was speaking to them.

"Did the grass just talk to us?" Applejack whispered.

"I heard it too. Maybe there's a Pokemon that can do that. Or maybe, the Pokemon is the grass itself!" Twilight looked down on the grass, but that wasn't the case. "No nevermind."

As they continued walking, Applejack noticed that behind them, the view of the lower part of the forest was getting smaller all of a sudden. "Uhh...Twilight." Applejack nudged Twilight's tail. "Look."

"Hm?" Twilight responded to Applejack, by facing her direction. She too had seen how the area they were previously at had shrunk out of nowhere. "What is this?!"

"No clue. Something ain't right about this forest..." Applejack rapidly moved her eyes around as she was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable but not by much.

"Which is exactly why we need to see what else it has to offer!" The young alicorn was feeling adventurous as she continued up the hill. Applejack, however, wasn't too sure about this, but she went along with it anyways.

Their walking had finally led them to something new. Once they reached the top of the hill, their eyes were gifted with two sights.

The first one was long overdue. A teacher had been found. It was none other than Olympia. The Anistar City Gym Leader and one of the higher-level teachers.

And the second sight was a wooden hut with fire surrounding it. Olympia was currently looking inside of the hut, despite being very close to the fire.

"Ms Olympia?" Twilight said. That prompted Olympia to turn around and face the students and their Pokemon.

"Ssshh." Olympia hushed her as she wanted them both to stay quiet for a moment. She looked back inside of the hut, continuing to spectate whatever was inside.

This piqued the curiosity of Twilight and Applejack so they had to see this for themselves. Once they looked inside the window of the hut, they found the reason why this part of the forest was so off.

That was because a Delpox lived here. This hut belonged to her. Delphox was a new Pokemon to them, but they recognize it as a part of the Fennekin evolution line.

"Is that Braixen's final evolution?" Twilight said quietly as she took out her Pokedex.

"Delphox. The Fox Pokemon. It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. Using psychic power, it generates a fiery vortex of 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit, incinerating foes swept into this whirl of flame."

"Delphox..." Delphox was currently waving her branch around, conjuring a spell on another Pokemon that was present inside of the hut with her. A Kecleon. A spiral of purple magic surrounded the Color Swap Pokemon as it stood very still, making sure to not move at all.

"What's it doing...?" Applejack narrowed her eyes.

"She's trying to focus on her spell right now with all her magic. It's best not to interrupt at the moment." Olympia replied.

"Magic? But I thought Psychic-Types use their mind instead of magic." Twilight looked up at Olympia.

"Most of the time, the mind is the source of a Psychic-Type's stellar power. However, there are certain Pokemon who require magic to be able to perform amazing feats. Such as the Fairy-Types."

"K-Kecleon..." Kecleon closed its eyes, waiting for the spell to be over.

"Phox!" Delphox had finally found enough focus to initiate her spell. The spell that had been cast on Kecleon was a Projection spell.

She had managed to show Kecleon it's potential Mega Evolution form by just affecting its genes. Since every Pokemon can potentially Mega Evolve, Delphox was able to bring out what Kecleon could achieve one day.

"This Delphox helps other Pokemon see their future and what they can strive and achieve. Mega Evolution is considered the peak of a Pokemon's power after all. And some Pokemon wish to break past their natural limitations." Olympia explained.

"Oooh..." Twilight gawked. "You think Delphox would do the same for my Pokemon as well?"

"You might have to ask her then. Delphox is a welcoming Pokemon so you will have nothing to fear whatsoever."

"You sound like you've been here before, Ms Olympia." Applejack said.

"But I have been here before. The same goes for other Gym Leaders in our world. We all come to this forest for our own reasons. Mine is to help the Psychic Pokemon here, much like how I help trainers who have Psychic abilities in my gym."

"You teach trainers with Psychic abilities?" Twilight was stunned. "Tell me more...!"

"The Anistar City Gym is also a school for Psychics as well. To help them reach their full potential alongside their Pokemon. You could say that I am a teacher of two schools."

"In that case...do you think the same applies to my Espeon?" Twilight picked up Eve.

"Esp."

"It does," Olympia responded immediately with a nod. "I've already foretold your future, Twilight Sparkle. Your Espeon may not look like it, but she has a promising future." Olympia rubbed Eve's neck.

"Eon..."

"Really?!" Twilight squeed. "That's great! So, one day, could you teach me and Eve to grow together?"

"Sure. You won't even need to advance in the Pokemon School. Eve and you can come to me at any time and I will help you both unlock your full potential."

"I can't wait!" Twilight had a wide grin on her face. "Oh, right. I almost forgot about Delphox."

Finally remembering about Delphox, Twilight and Applejack entered the hut, coming face to face with the Fox Pokemon at last. And what Olympia said was true. Delphox is a welcoming Pokemon who didn't mind any newcomers in her hut. Although, she does read their mind and determines if they are good or bad.

"Del." The Fox Pokemon greeted them.

"Esp."

"Uh...Hello, Delphox." Twilight greeted her. "Nice place you've got here."

"Phox." Delphox suddenly held her branch out, pointing it at Twilight. The young alicorn was unsure of what Delphox was planning to do with her branch as she froze for a bit.

Out of Delphox's branch, an instant flash of light zoomed forward, passing through Twilight. "Huh?" Twilight gasped as she had just reacted to the zap.

The magic from within Delphox's branch had outlined Twilight's body in a purple light as the Princess of Friendship could feel something about her body change. In fact, it was changing physically. "W-What's happening?!"

"T-Twilight?" Applejack and the Pokemon backed up as they witnessed their friend suddenly change right in front of their very eyes. But Olympia and Delphox remained calm throughout all of this.

Then, the spell had been revealed to be a transformation spell. But Twilight didn't turn into anything unexpected that she's never seen before. In fact, this transformation was something she has experienced more than once.

Her body got taller, her hooves became slender and her wings and horn vanished. To Applejack and the Pokemon, this looked like body horror.

And after that, a flash of light filled the hut, giving a small light show in the mix. Twilight's transformation had been revealed to her friends.

She had been transformed into a human.

But not just any human. It was the appearance of her other form when she passes through the mirror to enter the alternate Equestria where Sunset Shimmer resides.

Delphox had managed to bring out that specific form of Twilight without even being to the other world herself.

"Oh." Twilight looked at herself, recognizing this look. "She turned me into this?!"

"Ha-hauuuuugh" Applejack was speechless as she backed up with her hooves shaking uncontrollably. She sat down on the floor as she didn't know what to make of this. "T-Twilight?"

"Hello." The human Twilight grinned. That prompted Applejack to scream in horror as her mouth was wide open, almost as wide as an Exploud. "It's okay. I had the same reaction as you when I saw myself like this."

"You'll have to forgive Delphox." Olympia walked inside. "She tends to astonish newcomers most of the time."

"Phox." Seeing that Applejack was breathing in and out uncontrollably, Delphox decided to return Twilight to normal by zapping her once more, restoring the young alicorn.

Applejack stopped hyperventilating as Grovyle held her up to prevent her from fainting. "Gro."

"Psychic-Types sure are something. I wonder what else they can do?" Twilight looked at her hooves.

"Much more than you can ever imagine, my little pony. Allow me to give you a demonstration of what us humans are capable of with our minds." Olympia held her hand out, ready to showcase the extent of her Psychic capabilities.

She did this by generating a vibration wave that was strong enough to lift the entire hut and most of the trees surrounding this part of the forest and even beyond. Applejack felt wobbly as Twilight flew up whilst Delphox remained calm.

Soon, before they knew it, the hut was in the air whilst Olympia remained perfectly still. With just a single hand she could lift an entire hut and hard-rooted trees from the ground as if they were feathers.

Olympia returned the hut and trees down, placing them perfectly in their positions as the trees had been rooted once more as if they had never been removed in the first place.

To say that Twilight and Applejack were shocked would be an understatement. Before, they had only known a few things about what humans were capable of compared to Pokemon.

They knew that Pokemon and humans used to be one in the same once. They're aware of the existence of Aura and how it links to everything, Dragon trainers having a strange mystical connection with Dragon Pokemon and even the knowledge of humans having psionic capabilities.

But now with what Olympia displayed, the possibilities of what humans are capable of are seemingly endless in the eyes of Twilight and Applejack.

"Impressed?" Olympia smiled.

"Uh-huh." The two of them nodded in unison. They sure were impressed after something like that.

"There is a lot more for you all to discover when it comes to us humans. But for the time being, your lesson must continue. Take this." Olympia used her telekinesis to bring over an object that was laying on Delphox's table.

This object is what Cynthia mentioned during the brief today. Of how there were medals scattered across the forest in certain areas. And that's exactly what Olympia managed to bring over.

"One of the medals?" Twilight held her hoof out as the medal was placed on top of her hoof. "Thank you so much, Ms Olympia."

"You're very welcome. Now run along. Your lesson time is limited after all."

"Right. Come on, Applejack. There might be some more Fire-Type's we've yet to discover like Delphox!" Twilight ran out of the house whilst Applejack and her wave goodbye.

"And I will be waiting for our Psychic lessons one day. Twilight Sparkle."

All seemed fine and dandy with Twilight and Applejack. And the same can be said for most of the groups. But of course, with the presence of Togepi, that wouldn't last much longer.

And speaking of Togepi, she brought along some of the Dragon-Type Pokemon she had at her beck and call since she knew that even with her cunning and sly tactics, she couldn't conquer alone. She is still a baby Pokemon after all.

Knowing about how there were ponies in this forest now had made the Spike Ball Pokemon find brand new opportunities for her plans. Originally, Togepi was planning on just overtaking this entire forest when she first came here.

So far, only the Dragon Pokemon have submitted to her. She plans to conquer the other types eventually as she continues to bide her time. But with the ponies being present here, time can wait as she had a score to settle with them.

Mainly the Ponyville ponies. Togepi's has two rivals in her life. Brock's Happiny and Mayor Mare. One has matched her in strength whilst the other has defeated her.

Since Mayor Mare is the mayor of Ponyville, Togepi came to a brilliant conclusion that could benefit her and grant her revenge against Mayor Mare, even if she wasn't here.

Her main plan was to kidnap all of the ponies who come from Ponyville and hold them hostage until Mayor Mare takes notice. What she does next with the ponies, she already had many ideas swirling inside of that sinister mind of hers.

Lucky for Togepi, she didn't have to search for hours, since she had already found her first victims in the form of two students who were completely oblivious to what was approaching them.

Togepi was going to enjoy this as she ordered the Dragon Pokemon to capture them as she threatened them all with Dazzling Gleam.

As Togepi went on with her wicked business, the sounds of ponies screaming could be heard from across the forest due to the Dragon Pokemon approaching them.

Those screams alerted most of the students here as they had chills run through their spines. They were positive that scream meant that somepony had ended up in a bad situation, but they weren't sure how.

The one individual who heard this the most was Audino who stopped to look around after the scream. "Dino...?" The Hearing Pokemon sensed it coming from the North from what her ears could tell. "Audino!" Audino pointed North.

"So it was North, was it?" said Fluttershy.

"Should we head over and check?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"No way. Anyone knows that if you hear a scream like that in a forest, it's a clear red flag and a sign to not go towards the sound." Jessie shook her head.

"Mhm." James and Meowth nodded in agreement.

"What if somepony's in danger?" Fluttershy bit her hoof. "It could be one of our friends!"

"I ain't going near whatever's over there," Meowth spoke.

"Well...Principal Cynthia did say that the teachers were here. So I guess there's nothing to really worry about." Pinkie thought about it for a moment.

"Right. Now, let's get moving. That suns looking a bit tired." Jessie looked over at the sun. "Come to me my precious Fairies!"

They chose not to investigate the source of the sound even if it did sound a bit ominous. They left it up to the teachers but so far, only one of them has been identified, Olympia.

One group, however, did decide to investigate. That being Rainbow Dash's group. She and Apple Bloom finally met up with Scootaloo's group, reuniting Apple Bloom with her friends.

However, their reunion was cut short after the sounds of the pony screaming reached their ears. They suspected it had something to do with Togepi since she was present in this forest.

As such, they knew that Togepi had to be stopped or else the outcome of this lesson might be vastly different from what they were all expecting. Rainbow Dash took charge, making sure that the fillies wouldn't be harmed in any way as she was up in front.

"I think it came from down there." Rainbow Dash pointed her hoof over at a sloped hill in the forest that leads to another area.

"Should we really be checking this out?" A nervous Silver Spoon wasn't so sure about this. "I mean...I wouldn't want to mess with Togepi after what happened the first time she came to Ponyville."

"It's fine. Besides. Togepi by her own isn't that tough. She needs lackeys to get where she is." Rainbow Dash advanced towards the slope as she put her hoof in her saddlebag, ready to send out of any of her Pokemon. "We'll make quick work of her."

With Rainbow Dash ready to tackle Togepi head-on, if she was there, the fillies stayed behind her, anticipating the Spike Ball Pokemon's appearance.

At the nearby bush, there was indeed someone there as it was rustling. They expected it to be Togepi herself as Rainbow Dash was oh-so ready to just unload on the Fairy-Type the moment she pops out while the others shuddered and quivered.

But, it was soon revealed that it wasn't Togepi. It was just a Venonat.

"Veno!"

"Ugh..." Rainbow Dash lowered her head whilst the others let out sighs of relief. "Just a Venonat."

"You know just for safety measures...I think I'll call Ash." Silver Spoon took out her Xtransceiver, searching for Ash's trainer number.

"You don't have to." Rainbow Dash said as that made Silver Spoon pause. "Ash told us that he's not gonna be there all the time to protect us from any Pokemon issue. We gotta protect ourselves now."

"Mhm." Sweetie Belle agreed with that by nodding. "Besides, he taught us some pretty neat tricks to help us in battle. What did he teach you two?" She asked Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara.

"Uh..." Diamond Tiara rubbed the back of her mane. "We're not really the battling type. Just like you Sweetie Belle, I'm only in it for the Pokemon contests but I don't have any battling experience."

"Me neither." Silver Spoon shook her head. "You won't see me pulling off any crazy antics with my Pokemon, that's for sure."

"Well, when we get back, I can have Ash teach you some tricks. He's always got something new." Rainbow Dash offered. Just as she said that she heard another rustle coming from up ahead.

Rainbow Dash assumed it was just another Venonat or random Pokemon that was lurking inside of it. But lo and behold, the Pokemon that popped out of the bush ended up being a Fraxure.

Seeing Fraxure made Scootaloo and the others freeze for a moment. If Fraxure is here, then that means she is here too.

Emerging from the shadows with her Dragon minions was the conniving and controlling Togepi who had finally found more Ponyville residents to hold captive for her own personal gain.

"Toge-Toge!"

"Togepi!" Rainbow Dash growled as she took out her Poke Ball, ready to confront the Fairy-Type since she already knew how dangerous she was.

"There she is...She's still so cute yet cruel at the same time." Diamond Tiara winced.

"Yeah...Kinda reminds me of somepony." Silver Spoon replied as she was referring to Diamond Tiara, who turned around, with an unamused face. "Kidding!"

"I'll make quick work of you! Braviary!" She tossed her Poke Ball up, sending out her ace Braviary to handle Togepi.

"Braviary!"

"Togepi...!" But Togepi remained calm. She let out a devious grin, knowing that she was about to get the jump on Rainbow Dash and the others.

Togepi didn't just come with smaller Dragon-Type Pokemon like Gabite and Fraxure. This time, she brought the heavy hitters.

Right behind Rainbow Dash's group, a large shadow had been cast over them, prompting them all to take their focus away from Togepi. As they turned around, they found out that Haxorus was right behind them.

"Haxo."

The fillies screamed whilst Braviary flew in front of them, facing Haxorus. "Viary!"

"Toge!" Togepi gave the command to capture them all and restrain them as all the Dragon-Types listened to her every command, even if they didn't want to.

"Haxo!" The Axe Jaw Pokemon spread its arms out, going for a grab. However, like all of the Dragons here, Haxorus was holding back its strength. After all, Haxorus are kind Pokemon unless they're defending their territory. So it had no qualms with the group or Braviary.

And Braviary could see that. Being a Pokemon that had a brave disposition, the Valiant Pokemon understood Haxorus's reason for holding back as he and the Axe Pokemon looked each other in the eye.

Frenzy Forest, 2 hours left until the lesson ends.

Togepi currently has Rainbow Dash's group surrounded with Dragon Pokemon that bend to her will. Her revenge against the residents of Ponyville and to a larger extent, Mayor Mare, her archnemesis, begins now with this powerful Pokemon Type at her side.

Braviary was out to defend them as he looked Haxorus in the eye. This Haxorus, like all the Dragon Pokemon here, was hesitant to harm the ponies for no reason, and Braviary could see that.

"Toge!" Togepi ordered them to grab and restrain the ponies as the smaller Dragons such as Gabite and Fraxure moved in but at a slow pace. Togepi, frustrated at how they were moving so slowly and barely even trying, shot a small Dazzling Gleam at their feet, prompting them to speed up.

"Brav!" Braviary and Rainbow Dash looked at each other in the eye as they knew what to do in this scenario.

For a split-second, the two of them went into Rainbow-Braviary as a pillar of rainbows came down from the skies above. The force of the pillar engulfing them both was strong enough to force the Dragon-Types back as they didn't want to get caught up in the field of multi-coloured energy.

"Toge?!"

With Rainbow-Braviary being summoned, the Valiant Pokemon grabbed his trainer and the fillies as he moved at quicker speeds thanks to the transformation.

Braviary took the skies, as he was just a blur now, difficult to keep up with as the other Dragon Pokemon could only see a stream of rainbows fly by. All except for Haxorus.

"Good job, Braviary!" Rainbow Dash said whilst being in her Pokemon's wings along with the fillies. "Now! Use Steel Wing on Togepi!"

"Viary!" By holding his right wing out, he let Rainbow Dash go. The right wing had hardened up, glowing white as Braviary flew down towards Togepi whilst also carrying the fillies with his left wing.

"Toge!" Togepi decided that since the Dragon Pokemon were acting like a bunch of Slowpoke's, she would have to do all the dirty work. The Spike Ball Pokemon hopped on Haxorus's head as she looked up at the Valiant Pokemon with a grin.

Togepi knew that there was no way that she was stopping Braviary head-on since he's vastly stronger than her. So instead, she decided to go for the one trick that works most of the time.

Attract.

"Togepi!" Togepi waved her arms at Braviary, releasing yellow hearts from its body at it in hopes of controlling Braviary.

"We're not falling for that!" Rainbow Dash moved with Braviary's body in unison as the Valiant Pokemon flew under the hearts, avoiding them without an issue.

"Toge?!" Seeing that her Attract missed, Togepi hopped off Haxorus's head and hid behind the Axe Jaw Pokemon.

Steel Wing ended up colliding with Haxorus's instead of Togepi. However, the Valiant Pokemon held back against Haxorus's making sure to not harm him.

"H-Haxo!" The Axe Jaw Pokemon winced.

"Toge!" Togepi was a bit intimidated by Rainbow-Braviary as she ran over to the other Dragon Pokemon. "Togepi! Toge!" She ordered them all to attack Rainbow-Braviary instead since it was the biggest threat here.

Hesitant, the Dragon-Types all let out weak and pathetic Dragon Breaths from their mouths. Togepi held out a Dazzling Gleam and threatened to blast them all with it. Terrified of that, the Dragon's put some extra Oomph to their Dragon Breaths.

"Blow it away!" Rainbow Dash flapped her wings. That motion prompted Braviary to do the same with his wings. He flapped them so hard with such power that it created a pressure of wind that blew in the opposite direction. The Dragon Breaths had all been blown away along with the smaller Dragon-Types that were beside Togepi.

"Toge?!" Togepi watched as the Dragon-Types had been sent flying by Braviary just simply flapping his wings, demonstrating just how powerful he really is in this form.

And now, Togepi was getting a bit nervous. She was essentially going up against an unstoppable force at this point. If only Haxorus could comply. Even if she were to use Attract, Haxorus was smart enough to close his eyes.

In fact, that's the main reason why the Dragon-Types haven't submitted to Togepi yet. They all closed their eyes when they first came across Togepi's Attract.

Braviary landed on the ground, still having Steel Wing active as he approached Togepi with a steely-eyed look in his eyes that were strong enough to intimidate even the cruel Togepi.

"Braviary...!"

"T-Toge?!" Togepi winced as she backed up whilst Braviary's shadow cast over him. "Togepi!" She tried calling for Haxorus, but the Axe Jaw Pokemon simply stood there, as he decided not to do so. "Togepi!" Togepi called him a Worthless Dragon as she growled at Haxorus.

"Hax?!" Haxorus actually took that to heart as he curled up into a ball, trying to forget what Togepi said to him.

"Game over, Togepi." Rainbow Dash landed down as she and fillies approached the Spike Ball Pokemon. "Guess your little forest takeover flipped upside down since we came here."

"Yeah!" Scootaloo blew her tongue at Togepi.

"Pi..."Togepi!" Seeing that she was now outnumbered on her own, Togepi decided to do the most obvious action next. Make a run for it.

She did so by using Dazzling Gleam. Togepi let out a bright light that was blinding to the eye as Braviary covered his eyes with one wing whilst also using the other to cover Rainbow Dash and the fillies' eyes.

Once the light faded away, they could see that Togepi was gone. She had made her getaway.

"Ah! She got away!" Apple Bloom groaned.

"Leave it. She's not worth the chase." Rainbow Dash shook her head. "Good job Braviary."

"Brav." Braviary nodded as he returned to his normal state.

"Hm?" Due to Braviary's flapping from earlier, Sweetie Belle had spotted something that caught her eye. An object had been forced out of the bushes by Braviary's wind pressure. That object ended up being one of the many medals that Cynthia mentioned. "Oh, look!" Sweetie Belle used her magic to grab the medal.

"Oh, finally." Rainbow Dash and the others turned to her. "I was thinking they weren't here."

"Do we only need one?" Sweetie Belle hung it on her nose.

"Yeah, I think one is good. Besides, I've still got a lot of Pokemon to see." Rainbow Dash was ready to continue with her search until Haxorus grabbed her attention by walking up to her and the fillies.

"Haxo."

"Eep!" They were all still intimidated by Haxorus as the fillies hid behind Braviary and Rainbow Dash.

However, the trainer and Pokemon knew that Haxorus wasn't here to do any harm. None of the Dragon-Types were. Since Togepi had been defeated, the Dragon Pokemon were grateful to Rainbow Dash.

"You all doing okay?" Rainbow Dash asked them.

"Xorus!" The Axe Jaw Pokemon nodded as the other Dragon Pokemon did the same. They were in Rainbow Dash and Braviary's debt from this day onwards. A Gabite even chomped on Sweetie Belle's head. As a show of gratitude of course.

They couldn't stick around with the Dragons forever since they had a lesson to finish. But they promised they would come by Frenzy Forest from time to time and hang out with them.

Moving away from that, Fluttershy's group along with Team Rocket had finally come across something new. More akin to Jessie's taste.

An area for Fairy-Type Pokemon only. Much like how many Fairy exclusive areas in Equestria all have the same mystical energy and pink healing spots plastered around, the same can be said for this part of the forest.

However, instead of them being small little spots, the healing magic was in the form a pink lake that the Fairies swam in. Their magic had managed to influence the lake of this forest and just transformed its usual water properties for magic.

"Finally!" Jessie dashed over to a group of Marill's. "Look at these little darlings!" She placed her hands on Marill's face, which didn't sit well with Aqua Mouse Pokemon.

"Ma...Rill!" In response, Marill blasted Jessie's face with a violent Water Gun, messing up her ridiculously long hair.

"Is this some sort of magic lake?" Fluttershy went over to the lake, placing her hoof inside of it. Once she did, she could feel all her nerves suddenly vanish as the lake had a soothing magical aura embedded in it. "Aaah..."

"Chiko." Chikorita hopped off Fluttershy's head. She landed in the lake of Fairy magic as it splashed all over Audino. Once she entered the lake, the Leaf Pokemon gained the same sensation that Fluttershy was feeling. "Chiko..."

"Audino..." Same can be said for Audino who sat down near the lake.

"Looks delicious!" Pinkie got out a cup as she scooped the Fairy liquid up. Immediately, she drank the entire thing one go, finishing the cup. "Hmmm..." She felt the taste of the Fairy magic for a bit, wondering if it was delicious or not.

And the result was surprising. By drinking Fairy magic, Pinkie Pie's eyes had suddenly changed into stars as her body was zigzagging across the forest, bumping into the trees as she was moving like a rocket.

"Pinkie Pie?!" Fluttershy gasped as she ducked from Pinkie's high-speed movements. All the Fairy-Types ducked for cover whilst Team Rocket hid inside of a bush.

Pinkie was moving an uncontrollable pace. So uncontrollable that not even she can stop it. "Woo-hoo!" She cheered. All that moving made her Spinda fall out of her mane.

"Spin!"

"Pinkie Pie! You're going too fast!" Fluttershy squeaked.

"Sorry! Can't do anything about it!" Pinkie grinned. It looked like she would be like this forever without any signs of stopping. However, someone came along to put a stop to this.

That, someone, was one of the teachers. Valerie. "Sylveon. Catch her."

"Sylv!" With perfect precision and eye focus, Sylveon was able to catch Pinkie Pie with her ribbons when she flew by, putting an end to her lightning-fast movements.

"Whew...What a rush!" Pinkie grinned as she was shaking uncontrollably. Sylveon placed Pinkie Pie down as the pink pony was still feeling the urge to move around.

"Ms Valerie?" Fluttershy went up to her.

"It wasn't really a wise decision to drink from the Fairy lake. At least for the first time." Valerie said.

"Really? Why is that?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, the lake is filled with an overwhelming amount of Fairy magic." Valerie got on one knee, placing her finger in the Fairy lake. "That amount of magic is too much for someone who isn't well-versed in it. As a result, any interaction with it will lead to results such as that."

Valerie pointed at Pinkie Pie and how she was gyrating and unnatural levels. She also pointed over at her eyes and how they had stars in them.

"Hm? Me?" Pinkie pointed at herself.

"Right. Your eyes, for example, are now supernatural due to their new look."

"Supernatural eyes? How?" Pinkie asked.

"Try looking up at the sky for a moment." Valerie pointed up.

"Hm?" As Pinkie raised her head, she noticed that she could suddenly see a physical representation of Fairy magic. The sky itself was filled with corporeal pink wisps the size of trees as they flowed across the forest, leaving behind pink stardust. Naturally, Pinkie Pie was stunned by this. "Woaaaaaahhhh...!"

"What do you see, Pinkie?" Fluttershy wondered.

"I don't know but I like it!" Pinkie let out a wide grin. However, all of a sudden, her star-shaped pupils were fading away, along with her supernatural vision. The effects were limited after all. "Huh?! Where'd they go?!"

"Unfortunately, for first-time users, the effects run out after a while," Valerie explained.

"Aw..." Pinkie pouted. "Wish it lasted forever."

"It can last forever. If you're well-versed with Fairy Magic."

"What do you mean by that?" Fluttershy turned to Valerie.

"You've already had your first experience with Fairy magic. Now it is officially apart of you."

"You mean...I have Fairy magic inside of me now?!" Pinkie Pie's eyes widened as she was about to take off again but this time with actual control.

"So the pink pony's a Fairy now?!" Jessie screeched.

"Half-Fairy." Valerie stood up. "As you can see, I am also an example of someone with Fairy magic inside of me. I may not have the full capabilities of a Fairy-Type Pokemon but I can speak to some Pokemon."

"Really? That's amazing! So then, does the same thing apply to Pinkie Pie?" Fluttershy asked.

"I can't answer that. Trainer's who have Fairy magic lurking inside of them tend to have varying abilities. Very few share the same. So your friend might have something special that she has yet to discover."

"Well, I'm itching to discover it! Let me get another drink!" Pinkie held out her cup, however, Sylveon grabbed the cup with her ribbons, taking it away.

"Sylveon."

"Apologises. But it's not actually a wise choice to drink more. One drink is already enough."

"Aw, why not?" Pinkie groaned.

"Too much Fairy magic is dangerous for the body. Especially since this lake is overflowing with it. If you were to drink from it again, who knows what might happen to you."

"Oh." Pinkie had a poker face. "Well, it was tasty while it lasted. And on the plus side, I have magic now! I wonder if I'm going to grow a horn?!"

"Congratulations, Pinkie." Fluttershy clapped her hooves. "I think you might be the first pony to have Fairy magic in you."

"The third," Valerie replied, prompting them all to turn to her. "For you see, the actual first one is you, Fluttershy."

"M-Me?!" Fluttershy pulled back. "I-I...Huh?"

"I understand it would be hard to tell since nothing has really changed about you. But in truth, something has changed."

"I didn't drink any of the water here. Or was putting my hoof in the lake what caused it?!"

"A little bit." Valerie shook her head. "The true answer lies with your Audino over there." She pointed at the Hearing Pokemon.

"Audino?"

"Audi? How's she the cause?"

"I can see here that you both own Keystones." Valerie held Fluttershy's hoof, showing the Mega ring and keystone. "Your Audino can Mega Evolve, correct?"

"Yes?" Fluttershy nodded.

"Then there is your answer. Since this world has a larger emphasis on magic than our world, newfound and never-before-seen experiences can come from it, mostly with ponies. When you first Mega Evolved with your Audino, your body became linked with Fairy magic without you even realizing it."

"Nice!" Pinkie dashed over. "Looks like you're breaking records, Fluttershy! But wait...who's the second?"

"That would be your ruler, Princess Celestia. She as well isn't aware of it yet."

"Oh. So then...how will we know when our Fairy magic is demonstrated?" Fluttershy questioned.

"It's hard to know when Fairy magic is involved. But, I can help you with that." Valerie picked up her Sylveon. "If you wish to know and practice your hidden magic, you can come to me at any time and I'll help you. Isn't that right, Sylveon?"

"Syl!"

"Really? We get to learn more about Fairy Magic? Sign me up!" Pinkie exclaimed. "Doesn't this sound amazing Fluttershy?!"

"Sure. I wouldn't mind taking Fairy lessons myself."

"Look at how lucky you two are." Jessie crossed her arms, puffing her cheeks. "I want to have Fairy magic too!" She rushed over to the lake, ready to drink the Fairy magic inside.

"Oh, sorry. It doesn't really apply to us humans." Valerie apologised to Jessie.

"What?!" Jessie screeched. "Why not?!"

"Sorry!" Valerie bowed her head. "There's still a lot I don't know about this world's magic and how it works!"

"Ugh...Whatever." Jessie sat down, putting her hand inside of the lake. Once it was inside, she felt something hard and round connect with her fingers. "Hm?" Curious about what it could be, Jessie grabbed the mysterious object out of the lake. It was revealed to be one of the many medals across the forest. "Oh!"

"Ah, Ms Jessamine! You found one of the medals!" Fluttershy flew up.

"Shiny...!" Jessie grinned as her eyes were locked on to the dazzling medal.

"You only have, say...43 minutes until the lesson ends." Valerie gave them the amount of time they had before school finishes. "If you wish to head back to the school right now, you are welcome to do so."

"Nah. We'll stick around and find our friends." Pinkie put her hoof around Fluttershy's neck. "There's still a lot more stuff I wanna see in this forest."

"Then stay as long as you like. You might even see certain Fairy Pokemon who act in fresh new ways. Like that Togepi over there." Valerie pointed over at Togepi who had retreated to this spot after escaping from Rainbow Dash and the others.

"Toge-Toge..." Togepi breathed in and out as she thought they were still chasing her. But they weren't.

"...Hey...Ain't that?" Meowth pointed his paws at Togepi.

"I think so..." James nodded in understanding.

"To?" The Spike Ball Pokemon overheard their words as she turned around to face them. Just when she thought she wouldn't see any more familiar faces, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Team Rocket were right here. "Toge?!"

"It's you!" All five of them gasped, recognizing this specific Togepi.

"Oh. You all know this one Togepi?" Valerie asked.

"All too well! This little demon!" Jessie growled.

"Toge!" Togepi looked at them with disdain in her eyes.

"What are you up to this time?" Fluttershy narrowed her eyes at the Spike Ball Pokemon along with her Chikorita.

"Toge! Togepi!"

"What'd she say?" James asked Meowth and Fluttershy.

"She said that she could capture all of us here and now and tie us up with the other ponies she's caught." Fluttershy translated.

"But she's feeling too tired and out of it?" Meowth did the same.

"Toge!"

"Well, if you're giving up today, cough up the ponies you captured!" Pinkie dashed over as she and Togepi looked each other in the eyes, growling as their energies were clashing.

"Togepi!" Since Togepi and Pinkie were in each other's faces, Togepi slapped Pinkie Pie out of nowhere, which prompted everypony to gasp as Pinkie now had a slap mark on her face.

"Ow..." She held her cheek.

"Spin!" Rightfully enraged, Spinda hopped out of Pinkie Pie's mane, standing in front of her and facing Togepi. "Spinda!"

"Togepi!"

"This might be the perfect opportunity to find those captured ponies..." James whispered to Fluttershy.

"Oh, right. Audi. See if you can hear them." Fluttershy said to her partner.

"Audino." Audino got to work as her, Fluttershy, Chikorita and Team Rocket slowly backed away whilst Spinda and Togepi locked eyes.

"Spin..da!" Spinda did exactly what Togepi did to Pinkie Pie. Slap Togepi in the face with her arms.

"To!" Togepi bobbed back like a bobblehead as she herself didn't expect that to happen. "Toge!" Togepi returned the favour by slapping Spinda as well.

"Da!" And thus, a cycle had begun. When Spinda slapped Togepi back, Togepi slapped her back. Over and over again whilst Pinkie, Valerie and the other Fairy-Types watched this cute bloodbath occur.

After visiting different areas and having their own experience with certain Pokemon, it didn't take long for Twilight and the rest of her friends, minus Pinkie Pie, to finally meet up again.

They all met at the same single spot. That being the Electric-Type area of the forest, where the energy here was hyperactive and with constant volts rushing through the trees and water itself.

"Twilight! Everypony! Glad we bumped into you!" said Fluttershy.

"Yeah, its-" Twilight paused for a moment, noticing how there were three unexpected tagalongs with Fluttershy. "...Is that the school Guidance Counsellor and the two janitors?"

"Oh, yes. They were interested in this lesson too. They're just tagging along." Fluttershy nodded.

"Hiya!" Jessie let out a wide grin as she and Team Rocket waved at the others.

"Anyways. We're searching for some captured ponies that Togepi took and Audi's hearing led to somewhere near here."

"You bumped into Togepi too?" Rainbow Dash spoke. "How'd it go? Were you hurt?"

"No, not really. She said she was too tired to capture us. Right now, she and Spinda are having a slap-fight. So we snuck out of the Fairy area to find the captives."

"That egg again?" Rarity groaned.

"Audino..." Audi finally found out where the ponies were being held captive as she advanced up north with everypony else following behind.

What Togepi had done to them, no injury was involved whatsoever. Thankfully, all she did was tie them up and leave them on the ground. Originally, she planned to have the Dragon Pokemon surround the captured ponies, but since they resisted and couldn't bring themselves to do so, the captives were left without anyone else there.

Eventually, Audino found them as it was two residents of Ponyville, Amethyst Star and Carrot Top. "Are you two okay?!" Twilight asked them.

"Fine. We've just been sitting here for a while." Carrot Top yawned.

"That capture wasn't too bad, honestly." Amethyst Star looked up. "I expected worse. But on the plus side, we found a medal nearby thanks to that Togepi." She held the medal up with her magic.

"Gro." Grovyle cut the rope by using Leaf Blade, freeing the two ponies from their lackluster capture.

"I think mostly everypony's gotten a medal of all 18 types by now, right?" Applejack said.

"Probably." Starlight looked up at the sky, seeing how the sun was already prepared to set at any moment. "School's almost over anyway. Think we should head back."

"I think so. Besides...I haven't fed Eve, Minccy and Ninetales yet." Twilight bit her hoof. "Sorry, you three."

"We can head back with the medals we got no problem." Rainbow Dash held the medal of Dragons up. "But uh...is this forest gonna be okay with Togepi just being here? She made those Dragon Pokemon look like pushovers."

"There's nothing to worry about. Togepi seems to give up on one area whenever things don't go her way after all." Fluttershy responded. "From what I can tell."

"Well, I don't want to involve myself with Togepi at any opportunity we cross paths." Twilight walked off. "But I wouldn't mind a Togepi of my own that isn't evil."

With Amethyst Star and Carrot Top freed, the number of medals gathered by everypony was a success. Twilight's group received the Psychic Medal, Fluttershy's the Fairy Medal, Rainbow Dash's the Dragon Medal and Rarity and Starlight managed to find themselves the Dark Medal.

As for Togepi, her slap fight with Spinda came to an end. The Spike Ball Pokemon called it a day as both her and Spinda had slap marks on their faces along with a bit of an aching head.

Although it was hard to tell when Spinda was in pain most of the time.

After a rather eventful day at Frenzy Forest, the students returned to school, finally. And Cynthia was still there, waiting. Her patience was something to admire since she didn't even think about leaving this spot.

"Hm..." Cynthia inspected everypony's medals. She saw that there were indeed 18 of them in total. They had managed to find them all. "That's all of them. Well done, my little ponies."

"Thanks...Boy, I'm tuckered out..." Pinkie yawned. "What are these medals for anyway?"

"I'll explain them another time. Right now. All of you should get back home. Make sure to look forward to next week's activities."

"I'm already on it. The way the sun looks right now is just making me tired." An exhausted Rainbow Dash flew off along with other ponies.

Team Rocket had returned, tuckered out themselves. They didn't really accomplish their goal of catching a Pokemon of their own. However, they found something else that made them happy. They somewhat enjoyed hanging out with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie for the time they spent.

Frenzy Forest is yet another Pokemon location exclusive to Equestria. But so far, it seemed to be the most expressive and populated Pokemon area with a lot to discover.

From the Vespiquen hive, Pyroar's territory, Delphox's hut and possibly even more spots that have yet to be discovered, the ponies are now beginning to feel the same kind of excitement Ash and Pikachu feel whenever they go on a new adventure in a new region as the journey continues.
