Hey, everybody! Since the month is about to be over, just thought I'd go ahead and drop a chapter before getting back to work. More chapters to come later in April. Not sure when they'll be done, but I do know it'll happen somewhere around that month.

Anywho, before we get started, time for me to answer a few reviews:

Percival Wolf12: You're right on the money! I did take a little bit of inspiration from the MIB movies. The neuralyzer was the perfect inspiration for me to create the mind scanners so someone could erase memories and change them a little through shear words. I've always like the part where agents put on their sunglasses and use a gadget to erase what they've seen or heard. As for my character, Commander Shepherd, I'm glad you like him and think he's interesting, and you'll see more of later in the upcoming chapters for this part of the story. Also, I'm even more glad to know that your getting excited to know more and what'll happen next. Trust me when I say this. It's going to get really epic somewhere in the story.

Solange Griffin: I'm glad to know you like my story so far. Good to have you on board for the ride.

With everything done on this part, I just want to say I don't own any of the characters within the Disney universe, especially Zootopia since I'm starting-off here. Those go to their respective owners. Now for the main character, Tracy, half of the credit goes to retro mania for creating her name and a small description while the rest I did myself. Sparx, Commander Shepherd, and any of the original characters belongs to me.

Enjoy!

Chapter 10: Showdown: Part 1

Chief Bogo was driving alone on the road after already splitting with the group. He thought about heading home and just call-it in for the night. Tomorrow, he's going to have his hooves full ever since the missing mammal case came to an end. The press would want to know about the case through Judy and how she cracked the case. Then after that, the mammal hunt continues, only this time they are not only going after the arctic wolf, but to also find their mysterious armored sheep thief who took The World Key. Unfortunately, this'll probably be a him and Judy thing as they're the only ones who know about the government facility while the other cops need to be left out and focus on catching that wolf wherever he is. Luckily, the other cops who he told about the other worlds back at the Rainforest District didn't have their memories erased, since he knows that there were some hidden cameras where the facility was watching them. The last thing he wanted was for Commander Shepherd to send-in his agents and use their mind scanners on them. To him, it was completely unnecessary unless it was truly necessary to use it. Only if there were too many witnesses and the situation became bad.

However, the moment he took another turn, the situation did turn bad. Chief Bogo at first didn't know what was going on until he saw both a blockade of cops on his left and a traffic of cars being led away by a male wolf cop on his right. After going through the traffic, he manages to get close to the wolf cop, pushes down on the car window button to slide it down, and says to him, "Hey, you there, what's going on?"

"Chief Bogo, thank God you're here. We've been trying to call you, but you haven't answered. Where were you?"

"Uh…" Chief Bogo didn't know that he was being called by his own men. He had already turned off his radio when he entered City Hall to take the gang to Facility 77. Not to mention, he didn't even think for one moment what was going on outside. Not wanting for him to know the full truth, he only gave half of the truth by telling him, "I was a little busy with something really important." There was a honk of a car behind him, though its driver didn't tell him to move, its car horn would definitely tell him to. "Explain it to me later after I park."

Driving his car away from the traffic, he parks on the side of the sidewalk and gets out. Going back to the blockade, he points to a female polar bear cop and says to her, "You, take over traffic." With a nod from her, she takes over guiding the traffic while the male wolf goes to the chief as he says to the wolf, "Alright, talk to me. What happened?"

"It's already chaos out here, sir. Believe me…" He sighed while shaking his head. "You wouldn't even believe what we've seen."

"Try me."

"Well, the first thing that happened was that we found that arctic wolf guy who wore a black robe along with that fox kid."

"And, did you manage to take the kid to protective custody and arrest that wolf?"

"No sir, those two attacked and literally killed most of the men, except for me and some of the other survivors." His eyes looked downwards away from the chief, fear taking over as he remembered that horrifying event that shook him to the core. "I can't believe I'm saying this but…that fox kid flew and that guy had some kind of laser like spear that he brought out with his paws and some kind of book floated out of his robes while he cutted some of them down." He brought up his paws, both shaking from fright. "I tried to shoot one of them with a tranquilizer, but I couldn't. It was like I was seeing mammals who were…Well, not mammals. And that kid. Oh God, that kid's eyes were black as he was looking at me and was about to stab me through the heart with that sword of-"

"Hey, look at me!" Chief Bogo sharply said as he placed a hoof on his shoulder, making him turn his attention back to him before he lost focus and became delirious with fear. He softens up a little and orders, "Take a deep breath and calm down." The wolf did what he was told as he breathed and gave a shaky exhale. "Now, start over and explain to me how this happened."

"Okay," he sighed. "From what I heard, they managed to find those two just strolling around the sidewalk this late at night. They were about to apprehend him and take the kid away from him, but he just ran with the kid following him. The other cops managed to catch up with them at an abandoned residential area where my partner and I caught up with the others. They just stood there with their backs turned and that wolf's arms were behind his back."

At the abandoned residential area, many mammal cops came out of their vehicles. Some of them went behind them for cover while others stood in front of the back turned robed mammals, each of their tranquilizer pistols out and pointing. "Freeze!" yelled a mammal rhino cop. "Turn around!"

The two mammals turned around. Though they could already tell that the little one was the fox, the other seemed to be the arctic wolf that Chief Bogo described. Behind the hood, the arctic wolf smiles at them and casually strolls up to the rhino cop. "Stop! Put your paws in the air!"

"Alright, there in the air." The arctic wolf had his paws in the air, but didn't stop walking towards the rhino cop.

"Stop!" The arctic wolf kept walking to him. "I said stop!"

Before he could even pull the trigger and knock him out with a tranquilizer dart. The arctic wolf's paws glowed gray and two gray balls formed around them as he clasped them, forming them into a dual-sided spear. He hits the rhino cop in the face, causing him to grunt, then stabs him in the midsection with the bladed side. The rhino cop could only groan as he collapsed on his legs and fell to the ground dead while a book suddenly floated out of the arctic wolf's robes and stood next to his corpse as his guard was up and ready to fight.

The mammal cops could only stare at him with wide shocking eyes. They had absolutely no idea how he was able to bring out some kind of spear laser out of his paws or why a book was somehow floating next to him. Just who was this guy? The arctic wolf smiled at them, then looked at the fox kid who just stood there doing nothing, and said to him, "Hey, puppet…" He looks back at the mammal cops. "Kill."

The fox kid crouches low and charges. He leaps into the air, a yellow aura surrounding him, and takes the katana out of the sheath before twisting his body sideways and spins down towards the mammal cops.

"After that, they were pulling kung-fu stuff while killing most of us. He even said, 'What is this? This is boring and here I thought you animals were supposed to be the toughest here in this world. You're no different than the rest of those weak little pests and rodents I had to trample on in this godforsaken world! You're all weak!' My partner tried to stop him, but he was kicked back so hard that he literally flew to the wall."

"What's the condition of your partner?"

"Alive, but in the hospital, sir. The same as the others who were hurt pretty bad."

"What happened after that?"

"Well, they were about to finish us. That fox kid was going to kill me first, but I heard a sudden beeping and him telling the kid to 'Hold it, puppet!' Then he was talking to someone that looked like a smartphone and he seemed really mad that the caller interrupted what he was doing."

As the wolf cop was sitting on his rear with his back behind the car and the fox kid, who still had that yellow aura surrounding him while remaining in the air, had his katana inches away from piercing his chest towards his heart, watched the arctic wolf talk to someone on his smartphone by saying sharply, "What! You better have a good reason for calling me when I was just about to finish off these weaklings!" He softens up a little. "Excuse me, what now?" He turns his back. "Where are they?" He starts pacing for about several minutes before he stops and chuckles a little. "Alright, just as long as I get to fight that mouse clone and they could do whatever they want to the caretaker who possesses King Mickey's grimoire."

"What did he do after that?"

"He, um, took out some strange-looking rocks, which I think could be crystals, out of his robes and then-THAT!"

Chief Bogo looks quickly behind him after the wolf cop sharply points, only to see the flying Daemon that he saw from the video feed swoop down at them. They only had enough time to duck as the creature flew upwards. The other mammal cops and some of the civilians who were still inside their vehicles looked up, seeing a bunch of flying creatures they've never seen before circling around. Another flying Daemon swoops down, forcing the polar bear cop to take out her shock pistol and fires so many electricity balls at it that the creature easily dodges every shot and is about to kill her with its sword. "Get down!" the chief of police said as he charged towards her and knocked her to the ground, getting her out of harm's way before taking his tranquilizer pistol and firing a single dart at the creature's back. It seemed to have no effect on the creature as it continued flying.

"Sir!" the wolf cop said as he went to them while Chief Bogo and the female polar bear cop got up. "Tranquilizer darts don't work on them."

Chief Bogo points his pistol at him, surprising the wolf cop. "I know. Move!"

He moves out of the way, just for Chief Bogo to shoot at another flying Daemon that swooped down and was about to come at the wolf cop from behind. The dart embeds itself on the creature's cheek, stunning it for a second, then the chief hits the creature, sending it hard to the ground as it skids for a brief moment before coming to a halt. While the creature was grunting, removing the dart off its cheek, and rubbing it, Chief Bogo said, "Not so tough now are you?"

The creature was about to look at him with angry eyes after getting shot in the face, only to receive the end of his foot as it was kicked so hard that the creature couldn't flap its wings and was sent sailing over the traffic. The wolf and polar bear watched with wide surprised eyes. How did their chief manage to kick that thing so hard? Was he really angry or something? This was new as they've never seen this side of him before. Chief Bogo turned his attention back to them and said, "Shock rounds or tasering them is the only thing that works, but it could only slow them down."

The wolf and polar bear looked at each for a second, once again with surprised eyes, before the wolf said, "How do you know about that?"

"That's a story I'd rather not talk about."

The polar bear looked to her left and saw another winged monster swooping down. "Heads up!"

She and the wolf ducked again, but more of those creatures started swooping down at them. "Everybody down!" Chief Bogo yelled.

Every police mammal either ducked, took cover behind a police car, or jumped out of the way from the swooping creatures. They started flying around the traffic, some of them landing on top of the cars. To the mammals who were in their vehicles, they could only look in absolute terror from those strange monsters that was looking at them upside down from their windshields or sidewindows while others screamed as some of them remained in their cars or came out and fled in fear. When the latter was happening, Chief Bogo ordered, "Protect the civilians!"

Shots of either electricity balls or tranquilizer darts were fired, trying to down at least some of those monsters that landed while others were having a hard time trying to shoot those that were still in the air and getting the civilians who left their vehicles or had to leave their vehicles to safety. So far, they managed to get several, but the creatures were relentless. It was like nothing they've ever faced before and their shots were barely doing anything. Luckily the civilians weren't harmed which seemed strange. It seemed that they weren't targeting them for some strange reason. As Chief Bogo was reloading after shooting a Daemon, he asked the wolf cop, "Is this the only problem we have to deal with?"

"No, sir," he answered while shooting off a creature that was on top of a car. "I haven't had a chance to tell you this, but we've got a very huge problem."

Before Chief Bogo could ask, there was a bellowing roar. The flying Daemons dispersed and both police and civilians alike looked ahead beyond the blockade. At the road stood what looked like a mutated animal that had brownish-gold fur and possessed three heads with golden eyes. In the middle there was a bull's head with curved horns, the second head on the left was a lion's head that had a blood-red mane, and the last head on the right was an eagle's head with brown feathers. It walked on all fours with the front having lion paws and at the back had bull's hooves.

All the mammal cops, except Chief Bogo, gathered at the blockade with their weapons pointed at the creature. "Take it down!" a male tiger cop yelled.

"No, don't!" Chief Bogo yelled.

His words fell on deaf ears as all the mammal cops shot their electricity balls towards the mutated beast. Each shot came into contact, but it just stood there unaffected by the shots. It stood up on its hind legs, black claws unsheath on its right paw. A blood-red aura surrounds those claws as it raises its paw, then with an uppercut swipe, five blood-red energy claws shoot-out and tear the ground apart, leaving only gashes in its wake. "Look out!" a rhino yelled.

All the mammal cops either jumped out of the way, with Chief Bogo doing the same, or ran from the oncoming attack along with the civilians as they screamed and fled in terror. The blood-red energy attack tore apart both the blockade and the empty traffic of cars, and struck a building, leaving a deep claw mark as bits of debris fell down. The creature starts running, making a loud thump each time its hooved feet stomped the ground, until it leapt over the destroyed blockade and landed in between the destroyed traffic on all fours. A small earthquake rumbled in its wake before dissipating. The three heads looked here and there, as if they were searching for something, then took off to the road.

Chief Bogo and the other mammal cops stand up as he says to them, "Is everyone alright?"

"Yes, sir," a male rhino cop said. He looks around and adds, "At least some of us."

Chief Bogo looked around and saw some of the mammal cops unfortunate enough to get caught in the attack lying either dead or seriously injured. He then turned his attention to the now destroyed traffic and saw the same aftereffect, but others who remained stood inside their vehicles like it was their only chance to survive while others hid behind them. He even saw a lion family huddled together behind a van with the lioness holding her child close as it weeped on her chest from fright. Looking back to the surviving cops, he said to them, "Has anyone called for backup?"

"I have, sir," the wolf cop said. "Every cop around the city is doing everything they can to stop these things, but I doubt they'll handle the big ones. We really need bigger-"

"Hold on, 'big ones'? Are you saying there's more?"

"Yes, sir. Other than the one you just saw, there's another one that's bigger and uglier."

"What did it look like?"

"Well, um, it had no fur," he points on top of his head, "except on top of the head and it carried the hugest ax I've ever seen. We don't know what these things are, but it seems like they're looking for something. The question is, we don't know what."

Chief Bogo's eyes narrowed as he had a pretty good idea what those Daemons were after. "I do." Looking at the rest of the group, he orders, "Alright, listen up! The first-half of you that's still here, I want you to flip over any police car that's still workable and bring out the biggest weapons you've brought, we're going after them! The rest of you, stay here, help the civilians and any other cop that's down, and call the paramedics! Let's move it!"

"Yes, sir!" the mammals cops said in unison as they did what they were ordered.

While the mammal cops were busy in preparing and flipping any police car that still worked back over, Chief Bogo went back to his car, which luckily remained unscathed from the ordeal, and opened the trunk. He pulls out a black rectangular-shaped shotgun with a gray pump and right at the nozzle is a black and yellow stripe, meaning that this weapon was made to shoot-out electricity rounds, similar to the shock pistols, then pulls out a small tranquilizer pistol that was still holstered. It had an already attached belt with small tranquilizers around it and was meant to be a hidden weapon. Unlike ordinary tranquilizer pistols that were stored in mags, this one was more like a crossbow with a single shot that needed to be reloaded every time it was fired. A weapon this small could only distract those flying monsters, but not those big ones, and the only mammal small enough to use this was Officer Hopps.

Thinking about Hopps gave him a sense of dread. He already knew that those Daemons were after Tracy since she alone possessed King Mickey's grimoire and was on her way to a hotel. Officer Hopps only tagged along to accompany her, including both the doberman agent from the facility and the civilian, Nick, so she wouldn't be alone. If they were with her, then this means they were completely unaware of the danger that will soon follow them. With not a moment to lose, he rushes to the front of his car and gets inside while putting away the weapons on the front passenger seat. Taking the radio and tuning in on the radio frequency of the agent's car, since he knows that they always have a radio on them and Officer Hopps doesn't have her two-way radio after she lost it somewhere, he says through it, "Hopps! Hopps, can you hear me? Hopps, do you copy, over? You need to get out there! The Daemons are coming your way and they're after Tracy! I repeat, the Daemons are coming!"

He didn't get a response, only static. He tunes in on a private frequency which he alone had access to, then he says through it and hoped there wouldn't be static after this, "Commander Shepherd, do you copy? This is Chief Bogo, we are at a Code Red alert! I repeat, Code Red!"

At Facility 77, a female porcupine received a radio frequency meant for the commander. Looking over to him, who was just strolling around checking on progress as always, she said to him, "Commander, you have a call from someone by the name of Chief Bogo. He said it's a Code Red alert and they're Daemons in the city."

Commander Shepherd had an odd look. There was nothing on the screens showing any signs of an invasion that came from the multiverse. If there was, they would've known about it. Going over to her, the porcupine takes off her headset and hands it over to him. Putting it on, he says to Chief Bogo through the mic, "This is Commander Shepherd, we heard your alert call but I'm afraid we have nothing on the screen indicating any Daemons in the city."

"Then you need to get those screens fixed, 'cause my squadron had just been attacked by a Daemon horde not too long ago and I'm afraid those things are after Tracy! I don't know how many of them are there, but I do know there's a lot of them and they're two large Daemons on the loose! You need to activate the search scanners and see where they are converging at."

With a sigh, he said to him, "Give me a moment." He grabs the microphone, silencing it from letting Chief Bogo hear his voice, and looks at the porcupine. "Activate the search scanners."

"Yes, sir." The porcupine starts typing away on her computer, only to suddenly receive a beep and a data window popping up. "Hey, sir, I found something."

"Commander," a male moose said. "I found something on my screen."

"I've found something too," a male antelope said.

"So have I," a male black panther said.

What started off as several mammals seeing the same data window popping up, others soon followed. Commander Shepherd looked at all the computer screens with confusion. "What in the name of-"

Before he could say another word, more data windows suddenly popped up, then it followed with errors and ended with another window popping up, this time showing all the mammals a digital skull with crossbones giving a deep laugh. The hidden camera screens turned to static and each one showed the same laughing digital skull, as if it was cruelly taunting them. The commander knew what this was. It was a computer virus that somehow got its way inside the facility mainframe. The question was how?

"Commander," Chief Bogo said. "What's taking so long? Where are the Daemons converging?"

"Bogo, we have a problem. The search scanners are down and we're completely blind."

"Blind? What's going on? What happened?"

"Commander!" A male voice yelled.

Commander Shepherd turns around and sees a doberman agent running towards him, panting as if he ran so fast here to the facility his life depended on it. "I'll explain later. Hold on a moment." He grabs the microphone again and says to the doberman agent. "What's going on? What's the matter?"

"Sir, those things from two weeks ago are back and are here in the city. I tried to call through the radio link, but those creatures are jamming the frequencies and I just barely managed to escape with my life."

"How many of them are there?"

"At least a dozen. It's an army out there and they brought bigger creatures way different than what we've seen."

Commander Shepherd's eyes widened when the agent mentioned "bigger creatures''. He needed to be reminded of what they were about to face outside the confines of the facility, so he asked the chief, "Bogo, how many of those large Daemons you said again?"

"Two, sir."

This was bad. Dealing with the small fry was an easy task, but against two larger Daemons was going to be difficult. The police mammals can't even destroy Daemons without the proper weapons and will be completely helpless against the onslaught of these monsters. Worst of all, both the citizens and the city itself are now in danger along with the girl, Tracy. With a serious expression, he knew what he had to do. "Alright, I'll send-in backup. You just hang in there until help arrives."

"Ten-four!"

Taking off the headset and roughly tossing it to the desk, he starts ordering, "I want every mammal to deal with this virus and get the mainframe back up!" He points to the doberman agent and adds, "You, hit the manual alert system!"

"Yes sir!" The doberman agent saluted as he ran to do what he was ordered.

"Look alive everyone! We are now at a Code Red alert! If these monsters want a war against us, we'll give them one!"

The doberman agent ran up the stairs until he was in Commander Shepherd's office. It was there that the manual alert system remained on the wall in case the systems within the facility had failed. He runs towards it, pulls up on the plastic covering, and slams his paw on the red button. Red lights blinked and alarm bells blared with a loud whoop, then a male voice announced, "All military personnel, this is a Code Red alert! Repeat, Code Red alert!"

Every military personnel within another part of the facility received the alarm call and immediately scrambled into action. Each mammal donned an armored assault suit with a helmet that had a yellow-orange visor and took a weapon off the shelves before taking off in black military jeeps that were inside of an abandoned warehouse in the residential area that led to the underground facility, and sped their way to the city, tires screeching in their wake. It was a race against time to help the police mammals and the visitors from the multiverse fight against the invaders.

Things were not looking so good for the mammals and the mouse clone. When one winged Daemon arrived and thrusted its spear at the front windshield, three more soon arrived. The doberman agent who was at the wheel moves the car side to side, trying to get the creature off. The Daemon stood its ground and tried to thrust its spear at the driver again, after it missed the first time, but the agent quickly took out his Pulsar Pistol and shot the creature straight at the chest with a white energy round. It only gave out a small cry before vanishing into black smoke. The three winged Daemons land on top of the black van and thrusted their spears, making Judy yelp in fright inside. Pulling them out, they started tearing apart the car roof like tissue paper until they made a decent sized hole. M2 thrusts his hand up and yells, "Light!"

A ball of light shoots out of his hand, two Daemons move out of the way but one is struck in the head and vanishes into black smoke. M2 quickly unbuckles and jumps through the hole, then spin kicks two of the winged Daemons, sending them flying in two different directions. They rebounded by flipping backwards in the air, and swooped down towards the mouse clone, spears at the ready. M2 quickly brings out another ball of light from his spare hand and clasps it, creating another sword, and parries the first Daemon's spear. The other spear came soon after as it targeted his back, but the mouse clone blocked it.

One Daemon tried to attack with a downward slash, but the mouse clone easily dodged that and did a side slash at its chest, turning it into black smoke. The other Daemon tried a side slash of its own, hoping to take the mouse's head. M2 ducks, then blocks the next oncoming attack before twirling around in a downward strike that takes both its spear and cutting the Daemon in half, making it cry out and disappear in black smoke from its halves.

M2 flicked his blades and was about to hop back inside the car, but then he felt the loud buzzing, only this time it was stronger. Tracy felt the same thing and her senses were telling her that something really big was coming their way. However, what neither of them didn't notice was that the doberman agent saw something straight ahead that made him say in shock, "You can't be serious?"

"What?" Judy said. "What's wrong?"

She, Nick, and Tracy unbuckled and looked over the seat, M2 turned around, and their eyes widened too with absolute shock.

"Oh, my God!"

"I can't say it better myself, Carrots," Nick said.

Right in front of them, slowly approaching the moving vehicle, was a small army of both winged Daemons and the green skinned creatures. One was different from the rest and it was huge, reaching almost close to the rooftops. It appeared to look like a human man with bulked up muscles but at the same time it wasn't as it had light darker skin and orange hair that came halfway to his back. He wore only a brown loincloth and carried a huge silver double-sided ax.

M2, Tracy said telepathically to the mouse clone, worry filling her thoughts.

Yeah, I know, he said to her, already telling how she was feeling from the sound of her voice in his head. He pokes his head through the hole and says to the driver upside down, "Quick, get off of the main road!"

"You don't have to tell me twice!" the doberman agent says. "Hold on!"

He swerves the car around and takes another path off the main road. The Daemons start charging after the moving vehicle with the giant human-like monster running in big strides, making loud thumps each time his feet stomp the ground. He was literally halfway there and was almost upon them. "Speed up!" Judy yelled. "It's getting closer!"

The doberman agent changed the stick shift, then slammed the gas pedal hard as the engines roared and sped up the car a bit. They put a little distance, but the big Daemon was still coming after them and was once again halfway there. M2 makes his right sword disappear in a small flash of light while still keeping his left sword and brings his right hand down towards the road. "Ice!" he yells.

A stream of white mist shoots out of his hand, turning the road into solid ice. The moment that large Daemon stepped on the ice, he slipped and fell front-first onto the ground, creating a small earthquake upon landing. The green-skinned creatures ran past him while the flying Daemons easily soared over him. Wanting to buy more time to get away from the small army, M2 casts, "Earth Wall!"

A massive wall of earth suddenly erupts on the road, reaching across two buildings. To both the green-skinned and winged Daemons, they didn't have time to stop as many of them crashed face-first on the wall. However, to the winged Daemons who didn't crash, they swooped down and picked up the green-skinned monsters, carrying them over the wall as the chase continued. When M2 saw most of the Daemons go over the wall and were carrying the others, electricity surrounds his right hand as he lifts it towards the approaching small horde and yells, "Lightning Discharge!"

Webs of lightning shoot out and hit some of the winged Daemons along with any of the green-skinned monsters that they were carrying, but most of them dodged the electricity. When a few of them got close, the winged creatures tossed two of their cargo towards the car. M2 quickly recreates his sword and slices one green-skinned Daemon by its midsection and cuts the other one in half; all of its halves disappearing into black smoke. The winged monsters that tossed those green-skinned creatures swooped down towards the mouse clone while three of the others who didn't carry those green-skins joined them for backup. As M2 was busy defending and cutting down a few Daemons, several of the others took this as an opportunity to fly over the car and start dropping the green-skinned Daemons.

One creature lands in front of the vehicle and smashes the front windshield with its club, making a bigger hole as the doberman agent shoots the creature in the head. It gave a small cry and turned into black smoke. Two more land on top of the car roof and M2 manages to cut down another Daemon, then spins around and cuts off a green-skinned Daemon's head as it turns to black smoke, but the other jumps through the hole.

Tracy yelps in fright as the green-skinned Daemon grabs her and puts her on the car floor, its hands grabbing the strap of her bag containing the king's grimoire. Judy quickly kicks the Daemon on the side of its face, saying through each word, "Let. Go. Of. My. Friend!"

With that last kick, the creature let go of the teenage cat. It growls at her a little, then draws its sword. Nick could only yelp and jump out of the way as the green-skinned Daemon tried to cut both of them down with a single swipe, but missed both the fox and the rabbit as she had already jumped. Judy jumps again after it tries to swipe at her with its sword again, front flipping over to the other car seat. She kicks the monster's wrist, even though it didn't disarm it but does stun the monster a little, then spin kicks twice at its face, causing it to stagger before shaking its head.

Nick joins in as he calls the creature, "Hey!" The Daemon looks at the fox, only to receive a fist to the nose that turns its head a little, not at least affected by that punch unlike the rabbit's feet. "Ow!" he cried, shaking his paw. He never knew that this single Daemon would be this strong and Judy easily kicked this thing. Was it because she was the lucky one and he wasn't? The green-skinned creature growled in irritation and was about to raise its blade towards the fox. However, it didn't notice the young girl giving it a cat-like growl before she charged straight at it and gave it a strong uppercut, sending it flying outside the car after crashing the side car window, then smacked itself on a street light.

Judy and Nick looked at her in surprise, even Tracy herself was surprised that she was able to send a small Daemon flying with one punch. It seemed that both the pendant and armlet somehow doubled her strength. As she admired her paws at how strong she was slowly getting, thanks to these little items, a flying Daemon tossed a green-skinned monster through the other window while the creature itself was crawling inside. The small creature charges straight towards Tracy, but the girl reacts quicker by jumping and bringing forward both feet at its chest. The force of that sent it flying towards the car door, dropping its sword that it had in its hand in the process, and was destroyed as both Daemons landed on the road. Realizing too late what she just did, she cringed and said with her ears folded, "Oops."

A flying Daemon suddenly appears through the now exposed entrance to the car. It tried to jab Tracy with its spear, making her yelp and crawl backwards as the bladed tip missed. The Daemon kept jabbing, hoping to at least land a scratch on the small creature, but each one missed. Judy charges straight towards the flying creature and jumps, bringing out both of her feet as she was about to kick it. The monster reacted quicker by hitting her aside with its shield, sending her back to the car seat while sliding a little.

It started to raise its spear. "Judy!" Nick yelled as he looked around, hoping to use something against that Daemon other than his own paws. Luck seemed to turn around almost instantly for him when he found the sword that green-skinned Daemon dropped right at the car seat not too far from him. Quickly picking it up, he jumps off the seat towards the Daemon, shouting while swinging the sword. The creature didn't have enough time to defend itself with its shield as the blade connected at the chest, causing it to give out a small cry before turning into black smoke.

"Alright, Nick!" Judy cheered as she got back on her feet. "I didn't think that would actually work."

"Neither did I," he admitted, bringing up the sword and examining it side to side. He already knew from M2 that conventional weapons won't work against these Daemons; only by magic can they be destroyed. The agents with their own weapons would probably be the main exception since the commander did explain that they created their own kind of magic through unconventional means, but he never said anything about turning a Daemon's weapon against each other. This could mean an advantage they could use as these weapons possess a bit of magic. Even though it came from a Daemon's hand.

"Guys, heads up!" Tracy yelled. A green-skinned Daemon was thrown inside to the car seat while another one jumped through the open hole to the floor. The one at the car seat drew its sword and was about to attack Judy, but Nick quickly defended her with the sword as metal connected metal. The other one at the floor tried to smack Tracy with a club, hoping to knock her out and take the grimoire, only to miss through each swing. Nick pushes the Daemon back and slices its chest as it turns into black smoke. Tracy dodges another swing of the creature's club before quickly grabbing its wrist and tossing it out the door, crying out a little as it lands hard on the road. Doing what the fox did, she picked up the already dropped club and examined it. It didn't seem much and at least it was this the only thing she could defend herself with for now. "Oh well, better than nothing," she shrugged.

Tracy yelps as another flying Daemon appears and is about to grab her, but the doberman agent shoots it in the head and turns it into black smoke. No sooner had he destroyed it, a flying Daemon smashed through the car side window with its fist where he was at the front driving and grabbed him by the throat. He gags and swerves the car side to side, trying to get the creature to let go of him. The three mammals yelped and lost their balances while M2, who was still defending them from the Daemons at the top of the car, kept his. After cutting down both a green-skinned and flying Daemon, he cartwheels and beheads the creature, giving enough time for the doberman agent to breathe. However, both he and the mouse clone looked ahead and saw yet another small army approaching them. Instead of the humanoid giant leading the small army, it was the three-headed monster.

The eagle head screeches and its eyes glowed blood-red; M2 knew what was going to happen next. He jumps off the vehicle and flies towards the monster while the doberman agent says to the three mammals behind him, "Hold on!"

He swerved the car again and was about to make another turn while the three mammals saw with wide eyes what was on the road. Time slowed for all of them as M2 brought his guard up. "Full…"

The eagle head fires a double blood-red laser eye.

"Counter!"

The blade makes contact with the first beam, breaking it into webs of laser light towards the Daemons that were chasing them from behind, but missed the other beam. As the webs of laser light strikes all the Daemons, making them explode into black smoke, Judy and Nick saw the other laser that the mouse clone failed to hit come towards them and Tracy was right in the middle of it. She only had enough time to roll towards the seat where Judy and Nick were, just as the laser beam made contact and split the car into two. The two halves spin out of control and Tracy's claws dig through the car floor. It didn't last long as she was suddenly flown out of the vehicle. "Tracy!" Judy shouted while she was held close by Nick, forced to watch helplessly as her friend was falling back-first to the road.

M2 sees the girl fly out of the destroyed vehicle and casts, "Hastega!"

He flies really fast towards the girl, creating a small boom in the process. Tracy screams as her body turns; now about to land face-first onto the road as it grew closer. Before her body makes contact on the hard pavement, the mouse clone grabs her and flies safely above the ground. As the two of them watched from above, the two car halves crash into seperate places. The front-half where the doberman agent was still driving collided on a building wall by its side and the back-half where Judy and Nick were crashed at a street light, knocking it down while its light smashed on the ground.

"Judy! Nick!" Tracy said worriedly for her two friends. "M2 we gotta get down there."

M2 nods and flies down, carrying Tracy in his arms. Judy and Nick groaned as they sat up, a little shaken up from the ordeal. However, what they were really worried about was Tracy. Was she okay and unharmed? Their worries were put to a halt when M2 descended down and landed on the pavement, putting down the little girl who was completely unscathed. "Tracy!" Judy said, leaping out of the car seat with enthusiasm as Tracy raced towards her and they embraced. "Oh, thank God!" the rabbit cop looks at her and adds, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," she answers. "Are you?"

The doberman agent gets out of the car, after shaking off the dizziness from that spin and mentally thanking God that he didn't crash by the door he was at or else he would've started crawling his tail over to the otherside of the door. He runs towards the group, Pulsar Pistol aimed downwards while keeping his guard up and says to them, "Is everyone alright?"

"Yeah, we're fine," Nick answered. "But we won't be." He points with his sword. "We got company."

They look to where Nick was pointing, seeing the small army of Daemons along with the three-headed monster that destroyed the vehicle they were in marching straight towards them. The doberman agent goes around till he is at the back of the car before opening the trunk. "What are you doing?" Nick said to him. "We gotta get out of here!"

"Not yet!" He opens up a secret compartment and pulls out a black weapon that has a long barrel, a middle-sized mag with a glowing blue line, retractable stock that he automatically pulled, and telescope sight. "Alright, now let's go."

The group started running with the doberman agent following them by running backwards while keeping his sights trained on the small army. He waited for at least one of them to make a move so he could pull the trigger, but none of them even ran to them; almost like they didn't need to for some strange reason. Tracy yelps a little in fright, forcing him to turn around quickly to see what was wrong. Only for him and the others to look in shock as yet another small army of monsters arrived, cutting off their path of escape.

"Oh, come on!" Nick groaned and complained. "Are you that relentless?!"

"Okay, I know we haven't asked you this, M2," Judy says. "But what kind of Daemons are these things?"

"The ones with the wings you see there," M2 points at a winged Daemon, "those are Gargoyles." He then points to the smaller Daemon. "And those nasty green-skinned fellas are called Goblins. Both of these Daemons are considered Low-Class."

"Low-Class Daemons?"

"Yes. Think of them as foot soldiers, they're really weak when alone."

"Yeah, weak my tail!" Nick said. "These things are really strong!"

"Compared to you, they are, but to the Guardians they are weak. However, one must not underestimate a weak group as they can overwhelm someone in shear numbers."

"Well, that part's already taken care of. We're already overwhelmed."

"What about that one?" Judy points to the three-headed Daemon.

"That's a Chimera." The Chimera stands up. "Make that a Chimera Brain, an evolved version of an ordinary Chimera, and that's considered a High-Class Daemon."

"High-Class?" Tracy said. "Are you saying that's a stronger variety of Daemon?"

"Yes," M2 answers her. "Let's just be grateful we're not dealing with Greater Daemons."

"What's a Greater Daemon?" Judy asked.

"A much stronger version of a Daemon. They possess immense power that can ravage an entire city like this one. Worst of all, they are much bigger than that Chimera Brain."

"Hold on. How big are we talking about here?"

M2 looks up towards a skyscraper and points. "As big as past that building."

All four of the mammals became both horrified and shocked to learn about that. If a Daemon of that size were to somehow come here to this world…Oh, dear God, this'll be the end of Zootopia. "And they're far worse than that arctic wolf, right?" Nick asked.

"Far, far, worse."

His body sagged a little and said with a sarcastic sigh, "Well, that's just perfect." He slapped a paw to his eyes and shook his head a bit. "First Guardians, now Daemons wanna destroy this city. What's next?"

Thump!

"What was that?" Tracy gasped.

The four mammals and M2's eyes dart left and right while the Daemons stopped their slow march. Both Gargoyle and Goblin, who were at the front going towards the small group looked behind. The stomping grew louder until it turned the corner, revealing itself to be the same ax-wielding giant they encountered earlier. Somehow it managed to break through the wall of earth that M2 made to stall it. The doberman agent's eyes narrowed as they turned to Nick. "You just had to jinx it. Didn't you, fox?"

Nick shrugged and shook his head a little. It wasn't like he knew this was going to happen.

"What do you call that one, M2?" Judy asked.

"That's an Ogre and that too is also High-Class."

There was an evil chuckle from a Goblin, bringing back the attention of the group to the real problem that laid before them. Many of the Goblins and Gargoyles had their weapons pointing at them, ready to use them against the small group. Nick brings his guard up, Judy gets into a fighting position; even though she possessed no weapon, she could still use her feet, the doberman agent went back on his guard as he kept his aim trained on the telescope sight of every Daemon, and Tracy brings out the club that was strapped to her belt, after already placing it there before that Chimera Brain destroyed the car. "What're we gonna do?" the teenaged cat asked.

"I don't know," Nick answered. "If anyone's got any ideas, now's the time. 'Cause I sure don't have any."

"There's only one option," M2 said. He brings out two balls of light in each separate hand and clasps them, creating his swords before crossing his arms. "Will just have to fight our way through."

Nick couldn't believe what he was hearing. That mouse wasn't being serious was he? This is downright suicidal! "Are you crazy?! There's like several of us and many of them! Not to mention we got two big Daemons ready to make mincemeat out of us!"

"Don't panic, Nick," Judy says. "We can take on these freaks."

"How and with what? Don't you remember what M2 said? Magic can only destroy these things. The only thing I got is a sword, that agent's weapon is the only thing that can take on these freaks, Tracy only has a club and can barely use magic, M2's got plenty and he's probably the only one who can destroy these monsters, and you can only use your feet. Just face it, Carrots, we're gonna need a miracle to get out of this mess."

"We're gonna need more than a miracle, Nick. We need backup…big time."

As if she spoke too soon, they heard police sirens. It started out low, then it started to grow. Both the group and the small army of Daemons turn to their right. Before any Goblin and Gargoyle, who were still on the ground, could jump out of the way, they were run over by a squadron of police cars, sending most of the monsters flying through the air. The police cars swerved to a stop here and there, and every police mammal came out and started shooting every Goblin and Gargoyle that they saw. However, not all of them received so many tranquilizer darts or electricity balls to the body as some of them either dodged, jumped out of the way, or were protected by a Gargoyle's shield.

Chief Bogo opens his car door, surprising both the four mammals and M2 that he would show up, especially at the last second. He pulls out his shotgun, pumps it, and fires a large electricity ball that strikes two Goblins and a Gargoyle, causing them to shake uncontrollably from the amount of electricity that was fired at them. He pumps and fires his shotgun again, this time hitting a group of Goblins as the same thing happened to the other Daemons. Taking out the small holstered tranquilizer pistol, he said, "Hopps! Catch!" He tosses it over to her, catching it in her small arms. "You only get one shot each every time you fire. Make it count!"

"Thanks!" Judy called out.

She straps on the belt, crossing it with her utility belt, and right before she is about to pull out the tranquilizer pistol and join the fight, the doberman agent yells, "Head's up!"

She quickly looks up, seeing a Goblin suddenly jump at her, but meets its black smokey end with the doberman agent's weapon as he fires it in short bursts. He then turned around and started firing a full blast of white energy rounds that destroyed both Goblin and Gargoyle alike. The Chimera Brain took two steps towards the group before raising its paw. However, the doberman agent reacts quicker as he unloads a volley towards the Daemon's bull head, striking its right eye. It gives a painful bellowing roar and backs up, clutching its eye.

The eagle head screeches and its eyes glowed blood-red, ready to fire another double laser eye, but M2 raises his sword and casts, "Full Guard!" A white dome surrounds the group and the eagle head fires its laser, only to ricochet and explode on the side of a building; making a medium-sized smoking hole.

The Ogre arrives, its stomping feet surprised the mammal cops as it was close, then it raises its ax. "Look out!" a male wolf cop yelled.

The white dome surrounding the small group dissipates and M2 soars towards the Ogre, sword at the ready. He brings his sword up in defense and the ax makes contact with a loud clang, sending a small gust of wind towards the mammals from the force of the impact. The mouse clone pushes the ax upwards, causing the giant Daemon to stumble a little, then he makes both of his swords vanish in a flash of light before turning his body sideways while raising both arms, palms facing the two Daemons. "Duel Fireza!" Two balls of fire form on each hand and shoot out. The first ball hits the Ogre that was close to him, creating a red ring shockwave that sent the giant sliding hard on the ground as its feet tore it and made two small trenches on the road. The other ball hits the Chimera Brain and has the same effect. However, instead of sliding, it sent the beast flying towards a building and crashed back-first.

M2 flew towards the chief and said to him, "We can't stay here, Chief Bogo, we don't have enough room to fight all these Daemons."

"Yeah, I know." He fires another electric round at a Gargoyle that flew towards him, sending it back down to earth. "That's why we're heading over to Savanna Central and making our stand there. There's plenty of room for us to fight there and we've already got every citizen to safety."

"Perfect!" the clone said with enthusiasm. "Have you already called Commander Shepherd for backup?"

"Yes, he's already sent backup, but I don't know when they'll arrive."

"Good, I got an idea. You and the rest of these cops lead the Daemons to Savanna Central." He points at the Chimera Brain that was still a little out cold from the attack. "That one will probably wake up soon and follow you. If not, then Tracy and I will not only handle that thing." He points his thumb at the giant, whose chest was still smoking. "Will handle this Ogre and any other Daemon that tries to follow us."

"Alright," the chief nods. "I sure hope you know what you're doing."

"Don't worry, I know exactly what I'm doing. Now let's go!"

With a nod from Chief Bogo, he orders his police squad, "Everyone, we're leaving! Head to Savanna Central!"

With the order given, the police mammals started retreating to their cars. Some of them started their vehicles and took off while others needed time to start the engines since there was a little damage from the previous attack by the Chimera Brain. M2 flew down to Judy, Nick, and Tracy as he said to them, "Listen, we're gonna split-up and take care of these Daemons. Tracy and I will handle the Ogre. You guys head off with Chief Bogo for Savanna Central and deal with the others till we get back."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on," Nick said. "You expect Tracy…" He points towards the Ogre. "...to take on that thing. I'm sorry, but there's no way she can do it."

"I agree," Tracy said. "I barely know how to use magic. There's no way I can go up against that thing."

"Don't worry," M2 assured her. "I'm going to teach you a technique which will guarantee it will blow that monster away without using a shred of magic. Trust me."

"What about Judy and Nick?"

"Don't worry about them, they'll be fine." He turns around and lowers down a little. "Now climb on my back and let's go."

"But…"

Tracy didn't want to leave her friends behind, they needed her with them. She felt a paw on her shoulder and looked at Judy as she told her, "Go with him, Tracy. Like M2 said, we'll be fine. Right Nick?"

"Uh, yeah," Nick nods. "So long as we stick together and have at least a chance, we should pull through."

Tracy sighs and gives the rabbit cop a hug. Judy tilts her head and Nick, who got the gist at what she was trying to tell him, bends down and joins the grouped hug. They needed to give the young cat all the support she needed before leaving. Pulling away, Tracy says to them, "Don't you dare die on me guys when I get back."

"Don't worry about us," Nick said to her. "You should worry about coming back to us in one piece. Now go!" He tapped her shoulder with his paw. "Get out of here!"

She didn't have to be told twice as Tracy places the club on her belt, then runs to M2 and climbs on his back. Right before the mouse clone was about to take off, Judy said to him, "M2!" He turns around to look at her. "Protect her."

With a smile, M2 said to her with a nod, "Always."

M2 takes to the air and Chief Bogo says while the other police cars finally start their engines and take off, "Hopps, Wilde, and…whoever you are, let's go! Get in!"

The doberman agent sighed and rolled his eyes. He had a name but he didn't want to pry as this wasn't the time. Giving the fox and rabbit covering fire, Nick opens the door and gets in. It was now Chief Bogo's turn as he provided covering fire for the doberman agent, after he unloaded a short burst fire of energy rounds to a Goblin. He runs to the car saying to the chief, "Move, move, move!"

Firing two more rounds of electricity towards the Daemons, Chief Bogo gets in the car next, closes the door, and starts the car, then he slams his foot on the gas and swerves the car around, tires screeching with smoke turning up on the road. The Goblins start running after them with the Gargoyles taking to the air while M2 flies away from them. However, some of the Daemons noticed them as they started following them. Tracy looks behind and says, "M2 we have some Daemons following us."

"I know, but let's not worry about them yet and focus on the Ogre."

She turns her attention straight at the Ogre whose eyes remain closed. "We're gonna need to get that thing's attention."

"That's the idea," M2 giggled, a thought crossing his mind.

When the two arrive in front of the giant, M2 puts two fingers to his mouth and gives a sharp whistle. The Ogre's white eyes but no pupils opened from that sound, only to see a mouse place a thumb to his nose and wiggle three fingers, tongue wiggling as well in a provoking manner. Tracy also provoked it by pulling down on the bottom of her eyelid and closing her right eye while saying, "Nyah! Nyah!"

The Ogre tried to grab them and missed. M2 flies to the left, taking a different pathway away from the police mammals heading to Savanna Central and casts, "Haste!"

Speeding up while creating a small boom, the Ogre and the Daemons followed them.

Back with the Chimera Brain, it started to come too by shaking away the dizziness. The three heads looked here and there, realizing it was devoid of Daemons along with its prey and wondered where they went. "Hey, beast!" The Chimera Brain looks up, seeing three black robed individual's standing on a rooftop with a face revealing it to be the arctic wolf. "If you're looking for prey…" He points to the direction where the police mammals headed. "Take that direction. When you arrive…" He spreads out his arms. "Kill'em all! Destroy everything!"

The Chimera Brain gave a bellowing roar and ran to the direction it was given on all fours. The arctic wolf laughs in amusement and says, "Oh, this is a relief! At least now things are starting to get interesting after being bored for too long." He paws clenched tight and shook. "My blood's already starting to boil with excitement."

"Just remember," the male deep voice said. "Separate the girl from the mouse."

"Tsk, you don't have to remind me. You can do what you want with the caretaker, just be sure to get that book from her." He smiles as he starts to float. "Oh, this is going to be fun."

He takes off while the black robed male looks at the young fox and says, "Come, Sparx, we have work to do."

The two of them hop off the rooftop and fly behind the arctic wolf, following the Daemons where it'll lead them to the mouse clone and the caretaker of the king's grimoire.

So ends part 1 of The Showdown Arc with parts 2 and 3 still in development. The fight rages on against the Daemon horde as our heroes are now facing them on two fronts. The police mammals of Zootopia along with Judy, Nick, and the doberman agent will have to face-off against them in a last stand in Savanna Central while M2 and Tracy face-off against the Ogre and some Daemons that have followed them. However, will Commander Shepherd's troops arrive in time to help the police mammals before the Chimera Brain arrives and overwhelms them? What about Tracy, will she be able to face the challenge that'll soon arrive? That's to be expected for part 2 and 3.

Till next time, I'll see y'all later for now!
